If you had valid amounts in your account and clicked really fast on the withdraw button, you got paid multiple times for the same withdraw. Something like 12% of BTC was stolen this way by unknown hacker Then there was the c-cex BTC caper with DRK involvement that got Poloniex involved. Three different poloniex events in about a 10 day timeframe. Poor busoni, amazing he kept it all together. James Well hell, hats off to a soul who in a economical situation as deary as he describes would not rationalize the spoils of said exploit to be fair to hold. As for the rest of the scamming fucks out there, karma gonna catch ya, especially when security is run by a hero like this one. Where is the bounty link already? |

The first dollar of oil money that goes into bitcoin is going to set spark to the mountains of debt used to fund the excess of fiat in the past 5000 years. What I don't think will happen is an all out switch to settlement in btc. OPEC could just as easily credit a coin that is a derivative of the oil reserves they have, collecting the present value bases in exchange for the backing of oil. Snap just like that, new world reserve currency leveraging any and all other asset classes at will. This news was sorta a shock when I saw it and still not quiet sure how I feel about this. |

James Did this anon ever return the 150 btc to poloniex? The site does have a credit system going for missing btc right? If he flaked out on his stated intentions of good will to the xcp community you surely wouldn't consider his assistance a worthwhile investment for the darkcoin community. |

Litecoin continues to go up but the volume is dropping away rapidly. Now, and I mean RIGHT NOW, is a time to sell LTC, not to buy. Longer term, I have no idea, but looking at the short term charts right now, LTC is a definite sell. yup sell right before it hit the worlds biggest exchange , you know how to make money bro buy litecoin now or cry later.

3/19/14 Litecoin meets Huobi (largest exchange).
Already on Btcchina and Charles Lee (litecoin creator works at coinbase).
Bitcoin is in a little slump right now, but it is much more widely used (compared to litecoin).
If Litecoin soon gets coinbase etc, which would be a better long term investment.
Example:
If Bitcoin is 650+ (lets just say) and projected $2,000+ by december 2014
and if Litecoin is 17+ and goes to 50+ by december 2014, wouldn't it make more sense to go with Litecoin.
Bitcoin is more easier to send (more buyers) but Litecoin could soon be prominent.

There are several ALTs with better features and or volume than LTC. I just can't see without developments in the coins features and benefits in regards to competing alts that extra market exposure is going to help LTC volume maintain this short term lead for the rest of the year. what re you saying , litecoin 24 hour volume is 12 million , no other ALTcoin even comes close. I agree. Doge is 1 million+ (not near LTC) and LTC surpassed BTC in volume a few days ago (i think its was like 5 mill and btc was 4 million or something) Like I said this is a short term lead.. I still sticked to 75% BTC25% Ð Bitcoin is for serious business. Doge has a nice relationship with the media and a huge potencial for marketing/tip system. But one thing that really got my attention is about the coin inflation and the time that scrypt asics will hit the market in the end of 2014 at this time almost all doges will be already mined.
