941  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Please, Stop Calling Bitcoin "Digital Gold" on: June 13, 2017, 08:12:38 AM
EDIT:
I recently saw a different topic where someone was clearly calling BTC "digital Gold" to avoid facing the reality of high fees and 'merchant despair'. I am now better informed (from this thread) about why people think a "useless" Bitcoin (unusable for small to medium transactions) still has value.
Thanks.
`````````````
I have seen people start to call BTC "Digital Gold" in a delusional attempt to ignore serious issues.
Please pay attention to this fact:
"Bitcoin: A Peer-to-Peer Electronic Cash System" ~Satoshi
BTC is not "Digital Gold" as our founder clearly stated.
Bitcoin is an amazing experiment which is currently on life support, despite the rush of fools who insist on recreating a Tulip Bubble Ponzi Mania.
Please, Stop Calling Bitcoin "Digital Gold".
Thank you.
ps. (Unanswered from a previous thread)
What "store of value" is relevant when suddenly ~ hundreds of thousands of merchants worldwide can no longer accept BTC due to high fees?
True or False?
"Digital Gold" is a BS claim from people who deny the reality of the current crisis?
True or False?
Do you want BTC to be only for rich people?
You/We cannot stop others opinion when it comes to their description about in bitcoin. Including me I do agreed that there is an instances that bitcoin has a similarity to gold.
942  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What exchange to join? on: June 08, 2017, 10:42:59 AM
Hello, I would like to buy many Bitcoins and also altcoins...what exchange would you recommend me that has the most altcoins? Looking to buy like monero, ripple, siacoin, etc...? I really dont want to register on 10 of them and send my ID to every...
For me bittrex is the best for me compare to poloniex, just like what happen recently many of the client customers in poloniex are complaining in the service of the poloniex. Unlike in bittrex I don't see any issue of it so it is better to use it for now.
943  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: So I want to get into trading. on: June 08, 2017, 10:33:54 AM
Obviously, I need BTC to get in but it seems like everything is high right now.  Should I wait till BTC is < 2k? Or ETH < 200? I'd like to get in and start trading alt coins.  But for me to maximize my profits in USD I need to wait till BTC is at a reasonable cost.  Or do you guys see it climbing to 3k in the next couple of months?
Having bitcoin right now literally is very high so far, but if your gonna look forward about in the future that bitcoin will become 10,000$ you will never notice the value now is high instead its cheap. However, before end of this year it will really become 4000$ to 5000$.
If you are newbie in this forum, it is much better for you to read more in the forum, especially in trading discussion or any other thread section which it could give some tips of advice regarding the concern that you wanna know.
945  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Fixed income with BTC trading? on: June 08, 2017, 10:01:37 AM
I want to generate a constant monthly gain. Is it possible to do this by bitcoin trading? So, can I just do this by dealing with BTC trading?
Are there any people among us who can make a living by trading in BTC?
There is no fixed income in doing trade in the exchange platform, unless if you monitor it from time to time you can have an active income.
but no work no profit. But there is no people who make  living by trading.
946  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][SNC] SunContract - Decentralized Energy Market on: June 08, 2017, 04:11:57 AM
Hello everyone,
we would like to apologize to community for few questions that we did not answer. We are really busy prepairing everything for the ICO and launch of the project. We are putting all the effort we can to start crowdsale at the end of June. Please stay tunned for more info on that matter.
Thank you for all great support you show us!
Finally I found it ; so it's the end of June, after wondering when the Ico sale start. All we've got in the first page is : The TOKEN SALE (ICO) details are COMING SOON ... STAY TUNED Grin
Well, it is a big project and need a lot of hard work to achieve a success project, because a new business model using energy sector and supported by the blockchain technology very interesting and many people expected for its benefits for everyone.
Exact date is yet to be announced but our target is June yes. We have a lot of technical work ahead of us and want to be prepaired as much as we can for the crowdsale. We have number of developers working tirelessly on a product. We want to make sure everything works smoothly and safely.
Also we are prepairing number of blog posts where we will try to explain this complex model in a way everyone could understand it.
In any case, you (SunContract) need to be more there with people. You pay for campaigns, and you should use the best you can to meet new people and to inform them about SunContract project.
It's fine, at least you still giving us an update about what is happening to this project which is sun contract.
And I understand why there are delayed answer to some other questions.
947  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is it a sin to gamble? on: June 08, 2017, 04:01:41 AM
Not a sin for someone with - 8 negative trusts from the DT. I mean what could be worst than scamming people or promoting it? As far as gambling is concerned, no God ever said don't gamble. Neither Bible mentions it. That should be convincing.
Agreed, on that mate. gambling is not a good influence and it can give us an addiction in a long run
if we become negligent to our responsibility if we are going to entertain it properly.
948  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How to know if a gambling site is a scam or not? on: June 08, 2017, 03:50:29 AM
How do you know if the gambling site is a scam or not? how you trust a gambling site for you credit card and know its not a scam?
Maybe if you deposit it in the bankroll when your attempting to withdraw your balance and not
dispensing  the money in your account I think that could be considered that you've just been.
949  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why is gambling so addicting? on: June 08, 2017, 03:43:40 AM
I don't know why but I always get a feeling to gamble, after then losing my money, I quit for some time and then continue, but I know I will lose my btc Sad
Why is it so addictive?
That's the usual things happen for the newbie gambler in gambling sites.
Even if you quit sometimes it is still not worth if your not gonna help yourself to stop it.
But if you are really determine to give it up, You can do it for sure. or if not you will really goes into losing of money.
950  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Play with your profit or not? on: June 08, 2017, 03:06:29 AM
When you guys are gambling and already doubled your bankroll, do you still play with the whole money you got or you take away half of your bankroll and start playing with your profit or not?
It is still much better to play with profit even it is not possible, because most often in gambling the gambler always do play not for profit but
depending on their luck only. But if your winning much better to stop then  play again on another day.
951  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I'm doing a study on Bitcoin on: May 31, 2017, 01:18:06 PM
Thank you for all your suggestions. I have now created the survey:
Does your company accept Bitcoin? If so, please complete the below survey and share it to ensure we get the greatest reach possible. It's currently taking 4:51mins on average to complete 8-)
https://valueofbitcoinstudy.typeform.com/to/rw6P82
If anyone has any suggestions for where best to share the survey that would be much appreciated.
BitPay recently tweeted the link to the survey https://twitter.com/BitPay/status/850417969482149888 if you could retweet and send to anyone you know that accepts Bitcoin that'd make a big difference. Hopefully, we'll find insights into the impact that Bitcoin is having. The results can then give tangible evidence to point to convince sceptical businesses to accept Bitcoin and contribute towards a tipping point of global Bitcoin adoption.
Or it'll just be interesting to see how Bitcoin's affecting day to day business. Either way please share to as many people as you know.
Also any other suggestions/comments/questions are much appreciated.
It was such nice to hear that there someone like you are determined to study about in bitcoin. Because with usages and and features of bitcoin you will see how bitcoin was very nice to  used in terms of flexibility.
953  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: That day when Bitcoin hits $50,000.- on: May 31, 2017, 01:07:07 PM
That day when bitcoin hits 50,000, and this topic wil be replied and honored by the new folks whom are new to Bitcoin by then, the day when multiple countries have the coin in use in shops and services, the day when you get paid 0.05 BTC a month for a fulltime job, what will you do with your precious coins? when this appears on your screen...
$50,023(+0.12%)
1 BTC
Will you hold them with the knowledge of becoming a millionaire, or a multi-multi millionaire? Or wil you find it enough and trade some or most of your precious, precious coins for money to buy something really big, or use it to start up your own big company?
For me, I will keep them. I might only sell a tiny bit if I would like to make a purchase of something, but for the rest I would keep all the coins knowing that 50,000.- is just the start of a new beginning (just like 2017's 2700 compared to 2014's 200.- already)
I am curious what you will do that day, when this post gets replied and all those people wish they started in the time that we did. The day when you, me and all other Bitcoin buyers basically have won the lottery, what will you do?
Well, if that happens many of the bitcoin holders will become rich because of bitcoin.
That is a big amount actually I wish it could be happen, but I think it will take a years before that happen.
954  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Saving bitcoins on: May 31, 2017, 01:00:55 PM
If I decided to save bitcoins in bank, how will deposit rate be changed compared to dollar or other currencies? Will it have much lower percent?
Savings bitcoin was a good and surely 100% you will get a profit in a long run if you will hold it in a long term.
But save some bitcoin in your bitcoin storage wallet not in any bitcoin bank.
957  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling. Is It Wrong? on: May 25, 2017, 01:40:01 AM
hello everyone.
i want to know what do you think about gambling bitcoin.. Does Beneficial or more losses?
Share your story here guys!  Grin Grin Grin
Gambling if you treat it as a game of amusement it is not wrong that I can consider, but if we become worst like an addicted one in gambling, that is totally wrong. Due to it will give us more losses in a long run.
958  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What is better? To gamble or to invest? on: May 24, 2017, 04:41:49 PM
I think investing is more risky than gambling because most of investing websites are just scam, but in gambling you have better chances to make your bitcoin grow. How about you guys what do you think?
Investing still the best thing to do, because through this things, we can easily get and quick profit of bitcoin but it will only have a moderate
risk when we do this. So we still need to be careful on choosing on which coins we are going to invest in.
959  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Money Is Literally Pouring Into Bitcoin on: May 24, 2017, 04:32:45 PM
More and more countries are legalizing btc so people are buying it.
A lot of people don't realize this, but the reason other countries didn't have many average people buy bitcoin is due to their law structure and their norms.
The example is that in USA if there is no law one way or the other, it is reasonable to assume you are allowed to do something until a law is put forward, and that you likely would not be charged for something you did while there was no specific law on that thing.. Btc didn't have any rulings on it for awhile, yet we are all perfectly content to invest into it amd use the system. We know that we will largely not get into trouble by using it.
Other countries are the opposite. Average people there will not use bitcoin because they wait for a law to be made so they do not get into trouble. Many countries operate this way so that is why we will continue to see money poured into btc. More and more countries are giving legal rulings and that signals average people they are ok and will not be breaking law.
Yeah your right! many of the country by now are legalizing the bitcoin, like in Korea, Japan, China and etc.
This is actually, a great news to all bitcoin community in the entire world.
960  Economy / Economics / Re: Why dumps are important on: May 24, 2017, 04:24:32 PM
This is just a theory, so bear with me (constructive criticism is welcome)
And this theory asserts that Bitcoin dumps like what we've seen recently (i.e. today and right after the rejection of the Winklevoss ETF by the SEC) contribute to more even Bitcoin distribution over time and will help stabilize prices in the future (read make Bitcoin growth more consistent). What real world facts is this theory based on? We know that initially there were only a few users (so-called early adopters) who held the majority of coins, so they could easily move the price by dumping their stashes (at least, some part thereof). In the case of the lack of major news (either positive or negative), the price is pretty stable right now. So the only viable explanation for all of a sudden price crashes is most likely someone dumping huge amounts of coins (maybe, the bros themselves). This causes the price to plunge (even if momentarily). It is almost certain as well that the coins dumped are bought by a lot of independent traders, and therefore the wealth distribution is set to level out eventually. That's basically why dumps are important since they are caused via massive sell-offs by a relatively small number of large Bitcoin holders and get absorbed by the market
In my assessment about this things, dumps is very significant in trading world. Because, it the gateway for the small capitalist who'd like to invest in the altcoin who become drop the price value. That's why many of the traders get their profit of bitcoin because of dump and pump.  Cheesy
