9401  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ripple will overtake Bitcoin in the near future on: April 21, 2018, 06:58:00 AM
Well maybe ripple has also the possibilities in to get also what bitcoin has achieved nowadays. Thus graph has shows that ripple is one of the leading cryptocurrency in the crypto market. However, ether was more popular than ripple. Basin on the graph where ripple has great increase in percentage of rank in just a week and it does not represent the whole increase for altcoins. So i think that the two crypto in the crypto market nowadays are still the bitcoin and ether though ripple has next to these crypto but still it cannot surpass ether nowadays with its technicalities and the features also. So ether has the lot of possibilities that will overcome bitcoin and not ripple.
You seriously think Ripple can overtake Bitcoin in the future? I admit that Ripple is easily one of the best cryptocurrencies to invest into due to its real life use cases, big community support, passionate developers etc, but overtaking Bitcoin is way too optimistic. Ripple has a shot at Ethereum at max, but overtaking Bitcoin will never happen. Why? So many reasons like popularity differences, features, mainstream usage etc support my statement. I am not one of those people who shoots down Ripple just because it is involved with the banks, but I am not a huge fan of this coin either.
9402  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are cryptos doomed on: April 21, 2018, 06:41:32 AM
Wow. Someone woke up on the wrong side of the bed today. If you believe that crypto is doomed, you are free to leave this market since that is your opinion and I absolutely do not agree with it. Crypto is here to stay and Bitcoin has already proved that time and time again, but you FUD spreading people love to degrade this market just for the heck of it. You really think faithful crypto investors get influenced by such silly statements? Majority of the crypto community know the potential of crypto which is why we continue to invest into this market since we believe in Bitcoin and the crypto world.
9403  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to find a good altcoin? on: April 20, 2018, 02:53:42 PM
Find the active project and team . Try to look into website and white paper. Lots of new coins like IOST, EOS,TRX ,ADA really making good in market. Most of the coins are failed to meet the roadmap . Even some are not active in social media. Before investing any new coin find telegram group and see conversation and teams support.
This is exactly what I tend to check before investing into any coin or token in the market. Proper research leads to safer investments majority of the time in this extremely volatile crypto market. Whitepaper is what I first look at before focusing on other factors like development team, team communication skills, roadmap etc. I tend to analyse the whitepaper carefully before continuing with my research.

This is a gamble worth taking in my opinion. There are some amazing opportunities that arise on a regular basis in this market. You simply need to find them through research and luck also plays a key role here.
9404  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Token bounty must hold or sell? on: April 20, 2018, 02:47:24 PM
That depends on multiple factors op. Simple way which majority of the members adopt is to sell your coins and tokens as soon as you receive them in order to cash out your profits. Profit is profit at the end of the day which is why this is the most preferred strategy for many people excluding me. Personally, I am one of the minority who focuses on HODLING the coin for a long period of time without focusing on the short term because I don't fear losing money in the short term.I usually employed this strategy successfully in most cases which is why I recommend it to others.
9405  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to participate in bounties and earn over 2500$ in 3 month - Step By Step! on: April 20, 2018, 02:42:23 PM
Enjoyed the read. Good article. You clearly have put a lot of effort into this article and many people can profit a lot thanks to this article. You clearly do a good amount of research before selecting a project which is a smart move and is something I advise everyone to practice since research and luck help in differentiating between a legit and scam coin most of the time. Personally, I have been involved with signature campaigns that pay in Bitcoin more than the campaigns that pay in altcoins in this forum which prove to be legit majority of the time which is why I prefer them.
9406  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Some common VOCABULARY for beginners in cryptocurrency. on: April 20, 2018, 09:33:52 AM
Very useful post. I still remember how I was completely confused when I initially joined this forum and could not understand these words which were being used regular by the community members. Did some research and laughed when I found out what HODL meant. This post can be very useful to complete crypto newbies and experienced members alike which is why you did a good job coming up with this post op. I feel that the best crypto word ever has to be HODL since I use it frequently and sounds so good when using it. Am HODLING all my coins at the moment. Smiley
9407  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ICO rating sites on: April 20, 2018, 09:30:54 AM
I wouldn't blindly depend on ICO rating sites since they could just be promoting the ICOs which could help them profit in a big way. Research is crucial in this aspect which is why you need to do tons of research regarding a particular ICO(Development team, community size, social interactions, whitepaper, roadmap etc) which can help you differentiate between a legit and scam ICO quite easily. Heard of some good websites like Bounty Hive, Bounty Lord etc which I personally do not use, but you can check them out if interested. Bitcointalk is itself the best ICO rating site if you ask me.
9408  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: WHAT IS THE BEST BOUNTY CAMPAIGN NOW? on: April 20, 2018, 09:28:00 AM
You will receive subjective answers to such a question. There is not particular best bounty campaign overall. It all depends on your research and luck at the end of the day. If the ICO is successful and you receive your bounty without any hassle, you stand to make profits. If the ICO fails and you do/ do not receive your bounty, you stand to make nothing or lose money if you invested your money. You need to do your research regarding the campaign managers, development team and how they interact with participants, escrow services etc before deciding to invest your time, money and effort.
9409  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are there any altcoins that are independent to Bitcoin? on: April 20, 2018, 05:51:19 AM
I am wondering if there are coins that are independent to the Bitcoin price? Like, if Bitcoin's value increases, the altcoin will not increase at the same time Bitcoin does. Or maybe, I am wrong that the price of Bitcoin doesn't have any effect to the value of altcoins? Please enlighten me with this topic. If there's any coins that are independent, what are the benefits that you can get in investing to that altcoin that you can't get in investing in Bitcoin?
Yes the prices of Altcoins tend to follow Bitcoin. This is mostly due to Altcoin/Bitcoin pairing being traded. Every major exchange offers BTC trading pairs. Because BTC is the top coin being traded for other alts in terms of market cap, volume, and general popularity, it is thus at the center of the crypto economy and has some gravity behind it. Therefore, the prices of Altcoins mostly follow Bitcoin’s prices.
I agree with your points. There is a direct correlation between Bitcoin and the altcoin market and people who don't agree must do their research. I have observed that Bitcoin and altcoins are directly proportional to each other majority of the time and inversely proportional to each other minority of the time. This is why majority of the crypto community get excited everytime they see Bitcoin move upwards since they realize that this would most likely help almost all altcoins rally along with it. I don't see this changing anytime soon which is why I continue to be optimistic about the future of Bitcoin and the altcoin market.
9410  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Another Bear Market coming soon? on: April 20, 2018, 05:44:15 AM
Completely possible as the others have mentioned due to the nature of this market, but I seriously doubt this will happen since the entire market continues to rally without showing any proper signs of slowing down. Bitcoin also seems set to retread the $9k mark soon which will only help the market continue its rally. The good news is pouring in from all directions and investors have realized that bans by different countries(China, India, Korea etc) don't make a dent on the overall health of the market in the long term which is why they continue to buy more and more coins and tokens as time passes.
9411  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Dominance Going Down Good or Bad on: April 19, 2018, 06:15:22 PM

First of all , I really don't think that anything like that is happening .
Bitcoin is doing fine and is still the most dominant of it . The effect of it is so dominant that when it goes down all other altcoins go down as well .
Secondly , most altcoins are dependent o bitcoin because once they get a appropriate value , people change it into bitcoin because they know that bitcoin would rise more than any other coin . So the dominance is not going anywhere for some time.
I completely agree with you here. Bitcoin dominance might have fallen a bit short lately, but it is still very much the most dominant coin in the market. Bitcoin will most likely start an insane rally again sometime later this year which will help its dominance percentage rise through the roof. This is a good thing for the crypto market on the whole according to me since Bitcoin rising will most likely help majority of the coins and tokens in the market rise in the long run making them more valuable which will help the market get closer and closer to the trillion dollar market capitalization.
9412  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Winner of this year, ETH or BTC? on: April 19, 2018, 06:09:36 PM
Hello everyone!

Recently, I was thinkig. Is there really any reason for the BTC to be the market leader? The only thing that is giving the value to BTC is pretty much the fact, that it was the first crypto currency. It is the grandfather of all cryptos. But we know it has its flaws... It was never designed for broad usage, it has scaling issues and so on.

On the other hand, we were given ETH. The Crypto Kitties or w/e the awesome internet meme ETH appliction is called showed us, that ETH network has issues with high amounts of usage. BUT, 90% of all altcoins are based on the ERC-20 standard, brought to us by ETH. The smart contracts using the Solidity are extremly good piece of technolgy.

So my question is. Do you think, that BTC will keep its leadership, or will ETH be the winner of this year and surpass its ancestor?

Bitcoin will be No. 1 in 2018 and the following years. That's for sure. eth can not pass bitcoin. For at least 5 years, eth will probably pass bitcoin and be # 1
What? You seriously believe that Ethereum can outrank Bitcoin and become the market leader? You need to do your research because it does not even come close. As a matter of fact, no coin has ever come close to Bitcoin ever and this will most likely never change. Why? Bitcoin is being adopted slowly and steadily by people around the world. If you ask anyone what they know about crypto, Bitcoin will most likely be the first thing that comes to their mind which shows how immensely popular this coin is through out the world. Ethereum and other coins have a lot of potential, but will never outrank Bitcoin.
9413  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: hold or sale what is opinion ? on: April 19, 2018, 01:40:08 PM
Should we hold on to altcoins which we have invested and see the price dropping every moment or it will be better to sell them or hold.

The current market is showing good signs; I think it is possible that in future virtual currencies are more widely known and accepted, I do not understand why many countries prohibit virtual currency such as bitcoin in the market. If they keep the money banned by the government, I think they should sell to invest in other currencies.
For me, this month like mid year it is difficult to sell the coins. Why , becayse this month is like an thug of war. The price is fluctuating fast. But we know that in the end the price are always end up to rising up. It is depend on the day, or month what is a good holding and a good selling. But if this month i prefer hold
Good point. The prolonged bear market provided many opportunities to hoard some of our favorite coins at superb discounts which is something I could not miss which is why I purchased several thousands of my favorite altcoins(Low price) and am HODLING all my coins and tokens in my portfolio for future profits. I do not encourage day trading since it is way more riskier than HODLING most of the time and experienced investors have a better chance at earning big bucks through this method whereas newbie investors need to avoid it completely if they know whats good for them.
9414  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: When is the best time to buy Altcoin? on: April 19, 2018, 06:37:26 AM
The recent bear market was an amazing opportunity to hoard a bucket load of coins or tokens that you were interested in and that time has already passed. The entire crypto market has already started rallying in a slow and steady manner and I doubt that this rally will stop anytime soon unless there is some crazy bad news which seems unlikely. I purchased some coins that I was interested in like Einstenium etc and am happy to see my entire portfolio in green. I believe that this is still a good time to purchase altcoins that you are interested in since majority of the coins are still undervalued.
9415  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Will it grow ETH ? on: April 19, 2018, 06:34:12 AM
It is quite clear that Ethereum has huge potential and a lot of FUD popped up against it when it dived down in value due to the recent bear market which affected every coin and token in the market in a bad way. Look at the turnaround now. It is already trending above $530 and will slowly climb back up to $1000 and might even touch $2000 by the end of this year. I would like to see the look on the faces of the haters now. Honestly, everyone can agree that this coin has already proved its legitimacy and won't be slowing down anytime soon just like the king of the crypto market.

9417  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Are the Green Days back ? on: April 18, 2018, 10:42:45 AM
For the past 24 hours, i’ve Being thinking of what is going on precisely, if i’m dreaming or it’s absolutely real but presently I confirmed i’m Seeing what i’m Seeing for real 😳. The market cap is really attractive compare to few weeks back while everything looks like there were disaster in the crypto community. My question now is, are we out of the messy period to the Green Days in the crypto market ? Your contribution is absolutely required. Thanks

Definitely the ALTs Season is back with a lot of green. All my dip buys are giving me amazing returns, however, I am still not convinced with BTC green wave yet. Its still under the resistance level.
Hope we will be having a BTC bull run too in the coming days.

You spoke my thoughts. Majority of my portfolio is in the green now which is a great sight to observe and it feels great to see the market slowly recovering in a slow and steady manner which is far more healthier for the market on the whole. The insane surges last year were obviously not healthy which is why the prolonged bear market recently makes sense. As the good news continues to come from all directions, it is only a matter of time before Bitcoin and majority of the market reach new highs.
9418  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethereum [ETH], can it bounce back up? – on: April 18, 2018, 06:07:21 AM
You must be out of your mind if you think that Ethereum won't be able to bounce back up. Did you see its current value? The figures from the article are obviously old figures and ETH has already gone back above $500 and will continue to move upwards if the market continues to rally. It depends primarily on Bitcoin and its value which is why I am expecting ETH to touch $1000 soon and $2000 by the end of this year once Bitcoin itself touches a new high. On the other hand, Verge is facing a lot of criticism in recent times and I do not advise investing into it at the moment.
9419  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: how to ignore scam icos ? on: April 18, 2018, 05:23:28 AM
Sometimes you really can’t tell if an ICO is a scam, you won’t really know if it is legit or not. You must make further research on the specific ICO. You can check first the campaign manager if it is trusted and reliable first, then check the whitepaper because you will know more about the project and their technology they are offering. You may consider the team behind the project if they have a good background for being successful. In that way, you will lessen the risk and have a great chance of success.
Very good points. I do agree with you. So many people keep asking me on a regular basis about ICOs and which one is the next big ICO, but I simply tell them to do their own research since it is tough to differentiate between a legit ICO and a scam ICO without proper research which is why research and luck play a crucial role in this scenario. I primarily focus on the whitepaper first and go on to check out other aspects like development team, social media interactions etc before deciding whether to invest or not.
9420  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Signature campaign for newbie on: April 18, 2018, 05:15:43 AM
As an experienced member of this forum, my advice is to focus on learning the basics of cryptocurrencies through various sources like this forum itself, YouTube, Google etc which will help you immensely initially. Focus on posting high quality posts on a regular basis which will help you rank up from Newbie to Junior Member(Almost all signature campaigns avoid newbies and set Junio Member as their minimum requirement).

Merit is a big deal now after the new changes which is why you need to focus on writing high quality posts. Don't stop there. Keep trying hard to rank up to Member level and so on which will help you qualify for all campaigns in this forum.
