Why suggesting others to only invest at minimums on those HYIP sites if they can totally ignored it? You are clearly stating the investing in HYIP is just fine even for a risk taker but just to invest at minimum. What if their is an newly opened HYIP and the minimum investment is around BTC0.03-BTC0.05 for 30 days plan? Since it's new it's worth a shot?

You just contradict your first statement.

I'm just saying that it is not recommended to use HYIPs as serious investments, but if you ever decide to try it, just invest the minimum amount of money possible. This relative, because if the HYIP asks too much in BTC for minimum amount, then the risk would be a lot higher, and not worth taking it.

I'd say that the limit would be from $5 to $10 USD as minimum amount for your investment. If it's more than that, then it would not be worth the risk.

Again, this would be if you decide to invest in the HYIP, but I would recommend you stay away from them as possible since the majority are scams. You would be better off looking for other solutions to help grow your investment, like real estate, Gold, or even investing into Bitcoin itself. Just my thoughts.   Grin
9442  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: What is best PoS coin to invest into right now? on: April 21, 2017, 06:02:35 PM
None. All PoS coins are dump worthy, I mean why else would you want to hold a bunch of coins and waste computer space?

Agree. There are many PoS coins out there which are not worth investing into, as their price tends to decline over time, making your holding less valuable each day. Since most of these coins have a huge supply, it causes inflation, making them unideal for long term investing.

Having too much PoS coins in your PC, would be a hassle to get a hold of their wallets, not to mention that it will take massive space on your hard drive by their stored blockchain data.

However, if you are considering good, and sustainable PoS coins, then I would recommend Peercoin as it has been the first PoS coin in existence, providing solid development and a great community. Just my thoughts.  Grin
9443  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin implants? on: April 21, 2017, 05:57:43 PM
Yeah right, it's pretty much risky for us, it is bitcoin, and we all know that is it too valuable if we are going to compare it to fiat, and implanting it on our arm is such a suicide, especially if we are on a not that secure places. I would rather to use online wallets than this implants which I am not what defects that I am going to get on this, that is why it would be better if we are just going to stay on the safe side.

Right. An implant for Bitcoin wouldn't be viable these days, especially with the digital currency's value increasing each day. Thus, the more valuable Bitcoin becomes, the more it will be targeted by thieves and hackers.

Having an implant on your body with a large amount of Bitcoin would be extremely risky, as your life would be threatened by criminals, to steal your money and perhaps kill you in the process.

In the future, we might be able to see implants not for Bitcoin, but instead for a digital currency which is issued by governments. Since security and stability would be the top priority, it will make it extremely difficult for any hacker or thief to get away with your money. Just my opinion.  Smiley
9444  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are you a bagholder? Which altcoins do you hold? on: April 21, 2017, 05:17:10 PM
I hold curecoin, I don’t know why I bought it but I did and now I can’t get rid of it.
It has never reached the price I bought it, hopefully it will go higher soon, I need like at least 50% rise in price to make it worthwhile for keeping this long.

Sometimes when you invest in an altcoin, you don't get the results you've expected, thus leaving you holding the bag when it plummets in value. The major factor, would be if the altcoin's supply is high, eventually causing inflation over the currency, making it lose value over time.

Speaking of Curecoin, this altcoin is great because it supports a better cause by contributing towards the advancement of medicine, and research for curing diseases, all with your mining hashrate. But I believe, it is very undervalued now, considering what the same provides.

Nevertheless, whichever altcoin you plan to invest into, try to get out of it as soon as possible, because if you wait longer, you might lose more than what was initially invested, when prices start to fall. Just my thoughts.  Grin
9445  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will Bitcoin overcome Paypal? on: April 21, 2017, 05:10:20 PM
Yes it will..
Paypal is not available in all countries. But bitcoin is available. Though online markets doesn't accepts bitcoin so much till now, but it will one day.

I shopped online for the first time using bitcoin, as paypal is not available in my country.

Yeah. That's the good thing about Bitcoin, which enables anyone in the world to transact freely without restrictions, or identity verification. Since it is banking for the unbanked, there is virtually no limitations when using Bitcoin.

The pioneer cryptocurrency could expand to areas where PayPal cannot reach, encouraging a global economy where everyone is in control of their own funds. I know that now, Bitcoin has been facing serious issues that limits its ability for growth, but as time goes by, it will mature and become stronger than ever towards overcoming PayPal, and even credit card payment processors like Visa.

I can see the price of Bitcoin growing each day, which may be a sign that it is getting more adopted by individuals and merchants from around the world. Just my opinion.  Smiley
9446  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Altcoins that might survive in the future? on: April 19, 2017, 03:53:46 PM
I love XMR, ETH, Doge, LTC. Doge is my favourite. I am a daily trader and I trade Doge. I lost a lot of money in monero trading. But that time I was a noob. Now I have learnt few basics and am trying to apply while I trade. But I did good in ETH. I never trade in LTC although I like it too

Glad to see you're into Dogecoin. It is also one of my favorite cryptocurrencies for trading, due to its price movements, opening your opportunities to make profit.

LTC is great too, and it has a relatively stable price. Since it gained momentum in SegWit adoption, it has experienced a price uptrend over the last days. Hopefully, if SegWit becomes active, LTC price will increase even further, maximizing the chances of making profit for those who have held onto their coins.

Both DOGE and LTC are great for trading, in my opinion.  Wink

The key of the survive for long term is the expectations. Any coin without expectation will dissappear in the future. You have to choose your coin for investment to this direction.

Completely agree with you, mate. If you don't keep this in mind, you will fail when making any investment on any altcoin for the long term. You would need to make your own research about the coin's development team, total supply, and other factors before making your move towards securing your investments in the future.

Thus, the altcoins that will survive in the long term, would be those who could provide solid development, and most of all, an active community. Just my opinion.  Smiley
9447  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin implants? on: April 19, 2017, 03:36:34 PM
Most people who think of the future concept of technology is to make people even don't wear anything !. All becomes simple when implanted in the body, so we don't need to use android or another computer, this technology is full of pros and cons but I still support, bitcoin civilization must step forward compared with conventional concepts.

Yeah. Even if implants are not the most viable method to use these days, it may be at some point in the future. As we advance in technology and innovation, new and efficient ways to make our life easier would become implemented.

Maybe, the implants used in the future would not be used for Bitcoin itself, but instead it would be used for digital fiat currencies as governments switch to blockchain technology. This would rely on already established public blockchains like Ethereum or on a separated private blockchain operated by governments themselves.

The possibilities are endless, but only the technology that becomes widely accepted by individuals, will become a success in the future. Just my opinion.  Smiley
9448  Economy / Economics / Re: What is your best investment strategy? on: April 19, 2017, 03:23:57 PM
You should remember that those high yield investment programs are not at all investments because they do not have any working model. But they just take money from you and give it to others until they reach target amount of deposits, and after that, they just close the site and come up with another one. They are pure scam programs so never invest on those sites.

Exactly. HYIPs hardly work at all giving you returns. They're great within their initial days of operation, (as they tend to pay early investors quickly) but it is advised to not use them as serious investments, since most of them are scams.

Always invest the minimum amount possible in these sites, and never be driven by greed, or else you will fail. Besides the HYIPs, there are other safer ways to help secure your investments like lending your Bitcoin, renting mining hashpower, and high yield PoS cryptocurrencies.

They will always be a risk in any investment you make, but it is important to make a research and test out new strategies to become successful with your finances. Just sharing my thoughts.  Grin
9449  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is Zcash worth to invest in it? on: April 17, 2017, 05:39:40 PM
The inflation of the Ethereum will be reduced in the future. A small inflation is actually good for the economy.

Well, a little inflation helps to get the economy moving or circulating, in contrast to deflationary currencies like Bitcoin, which people tend to hoard it, instead of spending it.

If Ethereum will reduce its supply in the future like you said, then it would be ideal for it, especially in its PoS stage, increasing its value over the long term. Most of the times, I prefer ETC over ETH as it will have a limited supply of 230 million coins.  Roll Eyes
9450  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are you a bagholder? Which altcoins do you hold? on: April 17, 2017, 05:12:28 PM
There is a chance for ltc to get a pump as we recently saw a good increase in the price from 4$ to 10$. While byteball wouldn't be pumped anytime soon as far as i believe as it still has to make it to the top 10 in terms od market cap.

Yes. Since Litecoin has signaled most its hashrate towards approving SegWit, we could expect for its prices to increase even further. It could become the third largest cryptocurrency in marketcap, it the scalable solution becomes active as traders and investors would move on to the alternative cryptocurrency which would have better capacity than Bitcoin itself.

That is why that I believe that it may survive for the long term, and may be worth holding. ByteBall is another great cryptocurrency that could be held onto your wallet, but price hasn't increased that much. It is always best to invest the minimum amount possible, to minimize your risks with the volatile price movements of any cryptocurrency to play safe. Just my opinion.  Smiley
9451  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will Bitcoin overcome Paypal? on: April 17, 2017, 05:03:28 PM
I think yes because bitcoin is so powerful so bitcoin can overcome the paypal and another in paypal just one wrong move your account can freeze like mine and the good thing about paypal is the security. And in bitcoin you will be anonymous by sending and receiving so the bitcoin can overcome the paypal in all aspect but not in the security so I will go for bitcoin.

Yeah. Your PayPal account while being secure, can be subject to manipulation by freezing it or restricting your access to the same. In contrast, Bitcoin allows anyone to use it without any restrictions, giving you complete control over your money. By having access to your private key, no third party could interfere with your funds, making it safe against manipulation.

Also, Bitcoin's fees are extremely low when compared to PayPal or other payment methods, making it convenient to send money to anyone anywhere in the world. In the end, I think that as Bitcoin matures and becomes stronger, it could become a better alternative than using PayPal, Visa or even MasterCard. Just sharing my thoughts.  Grin
9452  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Best books about blockchain technology? on: April 17, 2017, 04:55:46 PM
I've recently read mastering blockchain by Imran Bashir, this is the best book I've found so far. Before this I read mastering Bitcoin which is a great book too but is only focused on Bitcoin. There are other books too but "mastering Blockchain"  covers almost everything ranging from theoretical concepts to practical Blockchain development. I've thoroughly enjoyed it and recommend it to anyone who needs a solid foundation in Blockchain technology. Here are the table of contents for your reference.

Blockchain 101
Decentralization
Cryptography and Technical Foundations
Bitcoin
Alternative Coins
Smart Contracts
Ethereum 101
Ethereum Development
Hyperledger
Alternative Blockchains
Blockchain-Outside of Currencies
Scalability and Other Challenges
Current Landscape and What's Next

Thanks for sharing these useful resources, mate. They have very detailed information, to help you get started on your journey towards becoming a blockchain expert. One of the topics which I like the most is Ethereum with its Smart Contracts. If it becomes perfectioned, and adopted by businesses and corporations, we could see a world full of automation from filling your car's gas tank, to using your washing machine, and more.

By learning everything about the blockchain, and Bitcoin's technical aspects, I hope to not only become a master of the subject but also use those skills to create my own cryptocurrency, and more.  Roll Eyes
9453  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What were your experiences with Bitcoin when you first started? on: April 17, 2017, 04:50:23 PM
That's very possible to earn that amount, I earn more than that daily so I believe you can also do that. In the crypto world there's a lot of opportunities where you can maximize your profit and that all depends on how smart you are and on how to dedicate your time with working or investing.

Agree. With cryptocurrencies, you can earn like your average job, or even more if you invest well, and make the right decisions within them. There are so many ways to earn, and you can make your own passive income, as well as, active income by freelancing, doing tasks, and more.

When I've first started, I was earning only cents per week, but as time went by, I've increased my earnings by investing more into Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies, and by participating in the signature campaign. It's been a great journey and I'm eager to learn more about cryptocurrencies and the blockchain to become a master of them.  Grin
9454  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Blockchain powered internet? on: April 17, 2017, 04:45:34 PM
What is the purpose of replicating what is mostly garbage?

The transactions written on the blockchain are as worth as Bitcoin itself since they define the end state of each wallet (i.e. how many coins it contains). So, unless we talk about spammy 1 satoshi transactions (but even these do matter after all, provided they get confirmed), any transaction is an integral part of what makes up Bitcoin. This is not the case with sites existing in Internet. In fact, without some of them Internet would likely be even better than it is today, so I don't see any sense in such blind replication. It will be just a terrible waste of resources

True. I guess that it wouldn't be the same concept as Bitcoin, since the Internet is full of unusable content, making it a disaster if applied on a blockchain. In the end, I think that blockchain could prove its use case not to power the whole internet on it, but instead to be used as authentication method for user accounts, or even established immutable databases for a specific site.

Maybe at some point in the future, a different concept would be designed to decentralize and liberate the Internet further, but now, established solutions like Maidsafe and ZeroNet are very promising.  Smiley

Qora has been able to host decentralised websites on a blockchain for some time now.

You can view a directory of sites here:
http://node.qora.tech:9090/index/webdirectory.html

Thanks for sharing. When I first got into Qora, it seemed like NXT in its features, expect for the part of the web host. I've thought that making websites on Qora didn't rely on its blockchain, but instead on a single node/server. It's a good thing to see such concept become a reality on this advanced cryptocurrency.  Wink

9456  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin implants? on: April 14, 2017, 08:18:25 PM
I think that it is a good idea.

However there is really no need for this, all you need is a smartphone.

This would also mean that it is easier for hackers to gain the private key of the person using this implant. I simply do not think that this is a good idea, and when you see credit card hackers just walking by with a harmless machine but actually extracting your credit card details, you get chills down your spine.

If somehow security can be achieved, then this is viable. But it is also a permanent commitment to bitcoin for whoever wishing to get this implant done.

Yeah. I know it’s a crazy idea, which may be harmful in every way, but in the meantime, I think that we will do fine with hardware wallets themselves. Implants may be useful, as they will always go with you within your body, but they pose many health and security risks. I believe that the waves transmitted from the implanted device would have a negative impact over your body in the long term, resulting in cancer or something bad that will cause you the death.

But, if manufacturers take these issues into consideration, they could develop a safer way for anyone to use implants and transact with their currency of choice, without the worries of the health implications it would have, as well as hackers trying to get over your hard-earned money. This would greatly enhance its ability to become used in the mainstream world at some point in the future.

Only time will tell if this really gets adopted or not. Just my opinion.  Grin
9457  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are you a bagholder? Which altcoins do you hold? on: April 14, 2017, 08:00:44 PM
We are on the same fate pal, Im holding up lots of shitcoins in the past and now i do forgot some of them where i do replace them and most of them are on wallets. Some are placed on exchanges which i have been using as of now.I just let those shit coins on my bag still hoping for some pump but sadly it does really hurt when you expect too much out of it. Smiley Im only holding up ETH and some Dash.

As well as you, I used to have many coins relying on exchanges, which were prone to decrease in value over time. I had to handle many wallets, and they were a hassle considering that I had to sync each of them on my computer, taking a lot of my time. There were times where I had to wait a lot for sync to complete, just to sell that coin when its price was pumped.

Nevertheless, while I still hold many altcoins, I try to limit the number of coins I hold to avoid hassles in setting and maintaining wallets. I prefer to hold onto promising coins with good development team, that will survive for the long term. ETH, DASH, XMR and ETC are good enough for me.  Roll Eyes
9458  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will Bitcoin overcome Paypal? on: April 14, 2017, 07:34:38 PM
Right now bitcoin can't overcome PayPal if we are going to think about it. Because we can see on how PayPal still has a lot of crowd and users it's quite impossible that it will happen for now. But one day there would be a chance that it is going to happen when people wants decentralized crypto currency and anonymity.

Yes. PayPal has a wider audience than Bitcoin itself, as it is much older than the latter. But I believe that if Bitcoin solves many of its issues which are essential towards becoming used as a mainstream cryptocurrency, it will help attract major merchants and businesses worldwide into adopting it.

There 2 things that are key towards helping Bitcoin overcome PayPal, and those are scalability and fungibility. By having privacy over its transactions, as well as being capable to handle bigger blocks, it may become the top choice for anyone who would love to start their business with the digital currency. The consensus from the miners, developers, and community will greatly determine its future.

Nevertheless, nowadays Bitcoin is not capable of outperforming PayPal, but it may be subject to change if proper solutions are accepted and activated on the same. Just sharing my thoughts.  Smiley
9459  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What were your experiences with Bitcoin when you first started? on: April 14, 2017, 07:08:55 PM
Being a freelancer, bitcoin is bread and honey for me because there is no huge commission like 20% from upwork, and 3.5% plus 0.30usd if paypal..
It saves a lot of money.

Yeah. Bitcoin gives a lot of benefits that help you save money, in contrast to traditional payment methods like PayPal or Visa/MasterCard. Since it is relatively low fees, it gives a huge advantage for anyone to start making their own businesses freely and without verification. The digital currency is very ideal for freelancing, as anyone can get started right away at the comfort of their own homes.

That is also one of the many things which has encouraged me to join Bitcoin in the first place, making me learn more about it and other cryptocurrencies, and gaining experience over time, to help use my knowledge and teach others about this fascinating technology.

Even though I know a lot of stuff about BTC, there are still many things that I need to learn about it, to gain more experience and eventually become a master.  Roll Eyes
9460  Economy / Economics / Re: What is your best investment strategy? on: April 14, 2017, 07:01:47 PM
Depending on the investments i am going into,i have two strategies in two different platform of investing. One is in gambling and hyip and other mlm scams, hit and run is what do i called through it,once i earn my profit in the mlm or gambling i withdraw all funds fast and do not reinvest again. One is in trading, short trades, finding coins whos gap on buy and sell is pretty far and set an buy/sell with a profit

Not a bad strategy, mate. It is always best to invest the minimum amount of money possible in any project, company, or HYIP, to stay safe and reduce your risks. When looking for HYIPs, try to become an early investor and reap in your rewards as soon as you receive the payout. That way, you will secure your profits for your next investment and make your money grow.

As for trading, short trades usually work, making you quick profit in a short time, but it would fail if not executed properly. You should analyze the charts and price movements before considering doing this.

In common, you can always stick to the golden rule of buy low and sell high. Then, you can invest the profits earned into assets or commodities that would tend to increase in value over time. You can choose both Bitcoin and Gold for this, or try real estate among many other things to help secure your investments. Just my opinion.  Smiley
