9441  Economy / Marketplace / Re: What Computer Games You Wish to Buy with BTC cheaper? on: January 09, 2017, 04:32:37 PM
Hi, I am planning to open a computer games store and accept Bitcoin.

What games you wish to buy?

How do you prefer the games to be delivered - digital or offline delivery?

What ideas and suggestions do you have?

Thank you all for the opinions!

If you are talking about the delivery much better if you are going to have both digital and offline delivery. There are customers who wants to delivered it instantly online.

And there are some who prefers to be delivered in front of their door. For the games I wish to buy, the same with those people who prefer steam games at cheaper price.

Also I prefer those FPS games at PS3 and Xbox, like Call of Duty ( all versions ).

beside that there is possibility, if you sell the games here or accept bitcoin, that people from other countries or foreigner would buy your games. so provide it for both digital and offline delivery.

actually I do not really like playing computer games, but I ever played Dragon Nest.

Yea that's why I suggested it is better if he is going to consider his business for having those both service of online and offline delivery.

And with the game you ever played, it doesn't even need some keys or payment to play that game. We can just simply download it through their main website.

But if op will consider to sell some in game dragon nest items that can be a good edge for DN players.

So is this problem is not solved yet? If contacting their support is not helping, then what happened now upon waiting for more than 24 hours.

For sure this seems to be working now.  Just like what markabi said, just allow 24 hours and everything will be fine.

i got same problem before and solved itself by the time.

allow 24 hours and your wallet will works again.
maybe some old transactions was 'double spend' or not confirmed, waiting for 24 hours will solve the problem..
9443  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Investment in ICO on: January 09, 2017, 03:52:13 PM
i have some bitcoins with me..any tips to invest them...dont want to spend them...should i invest in some ICO ??

For a newbie I would suggest that don't invest immediately with some ICO's or with trading. Just let it stay at your bitcoin wallet.

And while you are letting that in your jurisdiction, learn to study on how ICO's are working and as well as trading. Because even you have capital for investing.

But you don't know what you are doing, you are just going to waste your bitcoins on it.

Hello

I'm new to selling.

I would like to know can I post my advertise of BTC selling account that I have it on localbitcoins.com

Thanks

I can't understand about btc selling account you are referring but yes you can, you can use use your signature and place your advertisement there.

Also you can post in Currency Exchange section, here's the link:   https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=53.0
can he post a thread in currency exchange that he's selling bitcoin but in Localbitcoins? I thought Currency exchange board are only for buying selling bitcoins in the forum. maybe you can do..
but you can surely use your signature and personal text spaces to promote that.

Oh if that is the case I guess he can just simply post his service in his signature as well post it on services section. But I'm still doubtful with it.

Since he is selling bitcoins through a third party site, I guess it should be fine there or if you are still uncertain about it.

You can just simply ask a mod about it.

9446  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Any new crypto coins that can compete with bitcoin? on: January 07, 2017, 11:52:26 AM
Im looking to invest all my money on another crypto coin

Do you guys have that can compete with bitcoin really?

Might buy 100 units of it.

If you are talking about competition with bitcoin, just forget about it and just look for some alt coins where basically can generate you profit.

To make my statement supported you can just simply rely on their market cap. http://coinmarketcap.com/

And from there you can see those aspiring coins who you think can compete with bitcoin.
9447  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: Account Information on: January 07, 2017, 11:42:41 AM
Please note, we have not blocked access to the balance currently in your Coinbase account; while we can no longer process brokerage orders via our banking relationship, you may still send your balance offsite to an external address.

You can stand from their statement, what you just need to do is to have communication with any of their staff / support.

Since you aren't blocked, it means that you are still able to have access to your account. You can just send your balance to other wallet provider.

Haven't you tried using xapo?

Best bitcoin gambling site that you can

Recommend,?

Just want to lose some of my stored btcs

I won't suggest any gambling site for you. It will be better if you are just going to let your bitcoins store and grow quietly as the price is going to rise again soon.

Maybe you are that person who is very rich at all so you won't mind spending all of it and lose it with gambling.

Why not try to use that in such investments or just hold it out?
9450  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: Are Online Wallets safe ? on: January 07, 2017, 11:06:39 AM
Hi
is it a good idea to store bitcoins in popular online wallets like blockchain.info or coinbase
can these wallets get hacked one day ?

My opinion with blockchain.info it is secured but still no matter how secured it is as long as there are intruders who are wanting to target a site.

For sure they can do something about it same goes applies with coinbase. We cannot say what can happen, but hackers are everywhere.

If you wanted to store your bitcoins safely, just buy your own hardware.

And it aren't always hackers. It could also be a employee of the organisation why steals from inside. Just  use those websites for smaller amounts. In other cases just safe them local on your pc or even better on a hardware wallet.

That's also a probability cause of why some so called hacking incident happened last year, if you know what I mean about bitfinex.

And it is what we called the inside job. But that is what I'm doing also when I was still new in bitcoin, I treat online wallets are safe.

But in the end when those issues come out, I realize that having your own hardware wallet or saving it on your computer will be better.

9452  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is SatoshiDice a Trusted Casino? on: January 06, 2017, 08:32:50 AM
What do you think about this casino? www.satoshidice.com

Is it alive for a good time and is it trusted? Please, tell me your review about it.

Its too old with old features, try newer casino that offer more features with trusted and well known owner.

If the old software works well, why wouldn't you use it? Especially for people that have been gambling for long times, a change just feels weird. You get used to it.

Yes, even though it is already old enough it is still good to go. Old software makes gamblers more comfortable to use it.

Because they already tried and tested it for so many years and if they are doing good with it, they will stay for it for a longer time.

But when it comes to management, maybe you need to study some more.
9453  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why some people prefer Bitcoin over fiat ? on: January 06, 2017, 08:23:47 AM
Lots of places to spend your bitcoins on. You don't have to spend it on those subjects you mentioned

It depends. Maybe in your place there are lot of places but not in mine. It is hard to see a stall with a sign that accepts bitcoin. It is always changing it to hard cash first before you can even spend it. Now, I have just been doing online buying instead of going to the mall.

The same thing with me either there are only few places here in my country where I can use bitcoins and there is no physical store that accepts it.

Good thing that the exchange here is capable for accepting bitcoins by using their service that we are able to buy prepaid load cards.

And as well as paying our monthly dues.

Here in my country also i cannot use bitcoin on any physical store , only thing i can do is convert to fiat currency and use it or i can only recharge my mobile phone, data card and some online services because that is carried on by individual person who wants btc
actually the number of bitcoin users will be less in your area, i think you need to introduce bitcoin to your friends, so that the uses of bitcoin increase and then you can expect shopping in local shops.

I did already introducing bitcoin here in my community and guess what? My old friend who is always my companion with my crazy deeds way back then is already using it.

And the fact that he is already in bitcoins for almost 4 years, the thing is that he didn't introduce it to me and he is even an early comer than me.

I learned from him that those people who are preferring to use bitcoins are just quiet and doesn't want to expose themselves.
9454  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Is "tipping" worth? on: January 06, 2017, 08:11:21 AM
Tipping was mostly good at the beginning when BTC wasnt that popular. I achieved a few things like the recepient of those tips had a chance to try the new technology. At the same time it helped spread the word about BTC and tipping was partly what made it popular. The legendary stories of the 10,000 BTC pizza also helped in its rise to fame.
How we could forget the guy that bought pizza with bitcoin, what do you think he is thinking now that the price of bitcoin seems to go to an all time high? He could have millions of dollars by now.

That guys name is Roger Ver also known as the Bitcoin Jesus if I have my facts right. Hes still a millionaire and have invested millions in different BTC companies. Im sure he doesnt regret buying those pizzas with 10,000 BTC.

Wrong, Roger Ver was not the pizza guy. It was Laszlo Hanyecz (laszlo), it happened here on bitcointalk:
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=137.msg1141#msg1141

See his last posts from 2014, he claims to have spent it all on those 2 pizzas. But at least someone tipped him 1 btc.

Thanks, so that was him who was the famous guy that bought pizzas for 10,000. I guess that was just cents way back then for him.

I'm thinking about the person who receive that 10,000 bitcoins if he has still save some of those.

Because I think laszlo does have millions of bitcoins and he is just now sitting around watching people that talks about him.

not neccessarily
he can be sitting and tearing his hair one by one since 2013 Grin
10.000 coins is roughly 10 mil USD
so at least he is the guy who bought the most expensive pizza in the world

And it seems that 10,000 BTC for 2 pizzas seems to be a tip for him and no value at all. Because even me, if way back then bitcoin is still low valued crypto.

I will not hesitate to use it to make my investment from keep on rolling and will be used.

Do someone any news about him and that guy who bought him pizzas?
9455  Economy / Marketplace / Re: How to make 1 bitcoin in a month or 2? on: January 06, 2017, 07:56:30 AM
no investment no skill no money

But if you have money already even though you don't have skill you can just manage to earn that much money monthly.

You can hire some trusted traders out here in the forum and make money for you, just like the forextrader.

Many are liking his service even though I wanted to try his service but still I don't like how his commission goes.
I like his idea as theres a lots of experience traders out there who can manage to grow your bitcoin but its needed to a trusted one, with your money and thier skills combine i think 1 btc can be achive every month.

Yeah that is one way to get 1-2 BTC monthly, I just don't know on how much he really is earning monthly but I guess he is hardly hitting the goal.

Because there are a lot of people who are using his service, I even wanted to use his service but it seems that availing his service is still what is on my mind to review.
9456  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: [ANN] BITSANE.COM Cryptocurrency Exchange Platform Is Now Live on: January 06, 2017, 07:45:27 AM

Not sure but I think Liqui is a young yet very promising exchanger and I guess one of the main reasons is by adding those hot new coins with great community support. And with some previous exchanges becoming shitty like Yobit there is a big chance for Bitsane to succeed. Avoid those shitty coins and look for community backed coins.
I totally agree with you. Liqui is getting a good place in exchanges. because of adding only valued Coins, and liqui have been doing good promotions and bounties, if Bitsane also add good coins and good strategy for advertising it can get a good reputation.

I guess owner, developers and as well as the marketing team of bitsane is already looking upon on this point. But so far bitsane is getting known by those traders a little by little.

And of course they will always rely on what's the people/traders are loving so that they can give you guys the best trading experience.

They are always been aware with those non-value coins since it was everywhere.
9457  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What is the best source of bitcoin nowadays? on: January 05, 2017, 02:34:51 PM
Best source of bitcoin for me is by doing bounty hunting and signature campaigns. I have made some bitcoin by due various tasks and promoting various projects. If you have skills such as designing, writing, graphics creation, etc. you can sell them for bitcoin.

Trading is risky and I don't recommend it as the best way to earn bitcoin. You can go for investing rather than trading.

Having exceptional skills is a very good advantage especially if you have the most demanding skills like programming and together with those that you have mention.

Most of the people that has that type of skills are getting higher than 1 BTC monthly plus the opportunity to have some good profit with trading.

9460  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What is better? To gamble or to invest? on: January 05, 2017, 01:00:37 PM
I think investing is more risky than gambling because most of investing websites are just scam, but in gambling you have better chances to make your bitcoin grow. How about you guys what do you think?
i think worst thinking about gambling is better , gambling just addiction to lose all money

I don't think that investing is more risky than gambling. And yes, thinking about gambling for the possible worst effects that can happen to you is better.

And addiction is an option if you are really that type of person that you knows what you are doing. But if you are an investor and at the same time as an addicted gambler.

Your investments will be ruined.
