9461  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What's stopping people from using bitcoin? on: March 29, 2016, 04:51:00 PM
I think that generally people, at least in my country, don't trust Internet.
They are even scared to buy something on Internet or use Internet banking Smiley
So, how to explain bitcoin to such people'
Very difficult.
We need more positive media reports about Bitcoin, more merchants which accept Bitcoin, need to educate people etc.
9462  Other / Off-topic / Re: Why would customers use Bitcoins? on: March 29, 2016, 04:45:06 PM
In my opinion, if customer wants to buy something from merchants and remain anonymous, pay instantly, avoid fees and banks and be safe online, than Bitcoin is the best option for him!
We really need to explain it to merchants so that they offer Bitcoin, as payment option, in bigger number.
9463  Other / Politics & Society / Re: The Trump Wall on: March 28, 2016, 09:18:56 AM
As most of us know, Donald Trump has made many points about this wall we wants to build on the mexican border. Although he states the wall could cost between $8-$15 Billion, current research has suggested it could cost around $80 Billion. Thoughts?

Do you really seriously believe anything politicians say or promise?
For Trump this wall is just something to use in his political campaign, in order to show his voters that he cares and have concrete plan how to stop immigrants and prevent their illegal entries into the USA.
In fact, he don't care at all about immigrants and wall.
He is only concerned with how to win the elections and took the chair in the white house.
After that he will forget all his false promises and show his true face.
Who are the main workers in the Trump buildings?
Of course immigrants Smiley
9464  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Happy Easter on: March 28, 2016, 09:03:07 AM
Am I the only one who noticed that Christians can't count?

I hear a lot about Jesus rising, "Three days later"...

But, if Jesus dies Friday evening... Sunday morning is only a day and a half later, not 3 days... do the math

PS. Why do they call they day Jesus was murdered... "Good Friday"?!?

It's true that many things Christians believe are not well explained or logical.
It seems sometimes like blind faith, without any logic or reason.
Still, I think most people like main idea behind Easter, victory of goodness over evil, victory of life over death and that there is always hope for us, at least in a future life if not in this life Smiley
It's always good to have some hope that doesn't matter how difficult is now once in the future it will be better.
Without this hope it will be more difficult to live, at least for believers.

9465  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: need some help here ?: buying bitcoins with vcc /cc or paypal on: March 28, 2016, 08:54:31 AM
Hey fellow bitcoiners, I would like to know if it is possible to buy bitcoins with either a vcc / credit card or paypal? if yes, what websites can this be done in. Can I use an online wallet to buy bitcoins also? I would really appreciate some response. Thanks in advance.

I can recommend you virwox.com as well.
Paypal doesn't allow direct exchange but in Virwox you by their own currency (used in their online game) and exchange to Bitcoin and back (from BTC to Paypal).
Of course, because of double exchange you have to spend more on exchange fees but this is safest way to exchange BTC to paypal, in my opinion.
9466  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Great way to make Bitcoin! on: March 28, 2016, 08:50:17 AM
I see that everyone sees Bitcoin as this magical money making thing so here is a great way to make some money:

1. Learn a skill that is in demand.

2. Use that skill to make money in your worthless inflationary local currency.

3. Convert that worthless currency into bitcoins.

Boom. Now you have real money!

Spend as desired.

Bonus points if you can use your skill that is in demand to directly make bitcoins.

Interesting ideas but nothing concrete here.
Which skills?
Where to learn it?
What about people without skills?
Worthless inflationary local currency? Really?
We need this inflationary local currency for everyday living so this money is not worthless for us.
Bitcoin is real money?
Can I pay my loan in the bank with BTC?
Buy car?
I'm not sure I can so BTC is still not real money for us, just alternative currency.
9467  Other / Politics & Society / Re: IS THE USE OF INTERNET MAKING YOU EMOTIONLESS? on: March 27, 2016, 10:28:27 AM
So there is a feel that I am being socially awkward with less cheerful activities and loss of interest in real life. I used to watch lot of movies, romantic and tragedies, but now i don't get any feels for them. Also, my real life friends are starting to fade away. Do you feel the same? Or is the overuse of Internet proving beneficial?

Really good question.
I remember well also time before Internet.
We, children, played as lot games outside, and spend much more time together than children today.
It's not the same spend time with friends on Internet or in the real life.
Virtual communication and friendship is often without to deep emotions and sometimes can create emotionally empty people, who can not develop true feelings and communicate with others.
It's paradox that modern technologies don't bring us closer but we are moving away from each other.
9468  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Syrian forces battle ISIS fighters inside Palmyra on: March 27, 2016, 10:20:22 AM
Palmyra is now officially free and empty of ISIS fighters
they Syrian Army backed with the allies were able to free the whole Palmyra this morning
grats for the humanity for this achievement , Palmyra is a main part of our history

Good news really.
It's obvious that ISIS loosing this war, territory and people.
Real peace in Syria and Iraq can't start before ISIS is defeated.
Of course, still is a very long way to lasting peace and the return of millions of refugees to their homes but this is first step toward this goal.

9469  Economy / Securities / Re: In what should i invest and can i make money? on: March 27, 2016, 10:15:07 AM
Are you asking where you should invest your own money or where you should invest your BTC funds?
In first case, simple answer is Bitcoin!
In second case, it's depend how much you are willing to risk.
You can hold your BTC funds in the wallet and wait for price increase or you can try to speed up this process and invest part of this funds in some HYIP which accept Bitcoin.
9470  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will Bitcoin survive world war III? on: March 27, 2016, 10:11:44 AM
I think that Bitcoin can't survive only the disappearance of the Internet.
If after WW III we will still have Internet, I don't worry about the future of Bitcoin.
In fact, if all other currencies disappear because of WW III, this can even help BTC to become mainstream Smiley
9471  Local / Off-topic (Hrvatski) / Sretan Uskrs! on: March 26, 2016, 03:08:05 PM
Svim članovima Bitcoin zajednice u regiji, i šire, želim sretan i blagoslovljen Uskrs!
9472  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Where would society be without the internet? on: March 26, 2016, 03:04:55 PM
Even though there is no internet we can still be productive , just like people from the past they discover new things and they survived even without internet.

It's true.
I remember life before Internet age and it was good life to.
I think in some aspects we had even better life because, as children, we spend more time together, playing games, watching movies etc.
People even went to the Moon, without Internet lol Smiley
Of course, many things today are more easy because of Internet as communication, Internet banking, research etc. but even without internet we will have good life on planet Earth, no doubt about it.
9473  Other / Politics & Society / Re: will you save your bicoin for future?? on: March 26, 2016, 02:45:35 PM
I am new to bitcoin world, and i have done survey about the past of bitcoin, and shocked to see how bitcoin grew its value. It was 0.01$ for 1 btc in 2010 and now it is 380$ and still increasing day by day...
And , Wall Street Analyst writes, "Bitcoin price could reach 98.5k $".
So will you save btc for future or not.. If yes, then for how many years??

Yes, this is my plan.
I'm just sorry that I didn't trust my friend and joined Bitcoin a year or two before.
I could buy much more bitcoin for lower price but it's to late now Sad
Still, I think that Bitcoin price will grow and will keep my BTC funds as much as I can Smiley

9474  Other / Off-topic / Re: Do you still believe in bitcoin on: March 26, 2016, 02:40:35 PM
Yes, I still believe in bitcoin.
Of course, we can't be content with current value of Bitcoin, still many merchants don't accept bitcoin, we still can't use Bitcoin in many places etc.
But, I believe that Bitcoin is the best answer for concerns of people today- financial debts, banks, centralization, government control etc.
With bitcoin all this issues are solved.
No banks, no government control, anonymity, no centralization...
As world crisis become more and more serious i believe that eventually more and more people will start using bitcoin instead of regular money.
Such trend will inspire more and more merchants to offer also bitcoin payment option and eventually Bitcoin will become mainstream.
Yes, I still believe in Bitcoin because we are only solution for all current currency problems in the world.
9475  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What were your experiences with Bitcoin when you first started? on: March 26, 2016, 02:30:29 PM
I first heard about Bitcoin from friend.
I was skeptic and neglect his invitation.
A year or two after that, when I heard how much value of Bitcoin increased, I realized I should learn more about Bitcoin and understand what is all about.
I find this forum and find all needed info here including some good ways to earn free bitcoin.
Still learning Smiley
9476  Other / Politics & Society / Re: ISIS are the good guys. They fight the Antichrist Brussels on: March 25, 2016, 05:06:51 PM
The super computer "The Beast"

This supercomputer is located at the headquarters of the European Commission, in the Berlaymont, in Brussels Belgium, and covers 3 such building floors.

As many of you know the story is going to be the "Apocalypse" and know it will be through a chip that will be implanted in people called, "The Mark of the Beast (666). But ever wondered, if through these chips will know our location, age, favorite food, blood type, so to sum it all, żWhere will be stored all this information? Well simple, a una SUPER ComputerA. And already exists and is currently working. It is located in Brussels, Belgium.

It's called "The Beast, three stories high, and as you may have noticed the name is quite consistent with the 666. This computer is responsible for registering to every person in the world with a number of 18 where the initial figure digit of each number is 666, as a serious issue 666 502 852 011 342 117, first 3 digits, computer would allocation 666, other 3 digit country and so on, This supercomputer will have stored the information for each person, full name, work, occupation, etc..

In Revelation of St. John (13,16-18) mentioned about a "Beast" mysterious, that orders all people carry on the front and hand their brands.

Also, hizo that all, small and large, rich and poor, free and slave, I put a mark in their right hand or forehead. And no one could buy or sell, if he had the mark, or the name of the monster, or the number of his name.

I think that you don't understand what are you talking about.
ISIS is not God's tool to save the world but Satan's tool to destroy all humanity.
Don't be naive and think that God can be behind killing of innocent people.
God is about love and forgiveness but in ISIS there is no love or forgiveness, only hate and destruction.

9477  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Turkish-ISIS proofs of relationships on: March 25, 2016, 05:02:25 PM
OK, I obviously can't understand letter on this documents so have to believe you in this.
But, if this is true, I can't say I'm shocked.
In dirty politics everything is possible and usually my enemy's enemy can be my friend, even if we talk about ISIS.
It's obvious that both Isis and Turkey have common enemy- Kurds and it's possible they made some kind of agreement in order to defeat Kurds and prevent creation of Kurdistan, what Turks fear the most.
It's obvious also that Turks army attack mostly Kurds in Syria or Iraq, and very rarely ISIS.

9478  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Enormous ways to earning Bitcoin on: March 25, 2016, 04:57:07 PM
You need to offer a physical product or some kind of service such as web design. Everything else is a waste of time. Sig campaigns? Do you really want to sell yourself out for pennies?

Hard work is required for any kind of real reward. That's true for life, it's also true for bitcoin.

I'll give a hint - trading on peer2peer marketplaces is a good way to get started. And you get to offer a useful service - helping people purchase bitcoin easily without having to go through coinbase or exchanges.

You are right about it but no so many people is capable or good enough to offer such services like web design, programming etc.
They can try some HYIP investment schemes but it's to risky.
Faucets?
To low income and to much waiting time.
So, if some of them likes to be here, read posts on this forum and learn more about Bitcoin, or like to join some discussions and share personal opinions, why not to join some sig. campaign and be paid for something they will do anyway?

9479  Other / Off-topic / Re: Earning a living with bitcoin? on: March 25, 2016, 04:49:34 PM
It's hard to earn a living with btc. Except you do a really sucessful business or doing some services, living only with bitcoin is hard.

It's easier if you live in a third world country, but for europe and US? it's hard.

It's true.
Even many businesses and merchants don't like Bitcoin and don't use it because its value is not stable yet and we are still not mainstream.
I think that first people joined Bitcoin community, with enough cash to buy a lot Bitcoin for the very law price, now can sell some of this BTC for much higher price and live from it.
Other possibility is to have some very successful online business, or HYIP, with a lot users, and make living from it.
Others average users like you or me, can't live from BTC.
