I found that my friend account still need to solve captcha to roll number in his freebitco.in account, anybody experience the same thing?
I always have to solve captcha to make claim, nothing has changed. I think that only part of freebitco.in users can claim without solving captcha.
9462  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Billions stolen from South Korean Bitcoin exchange on: July 04, 2017, 01:20:26 PM
The point worth noting is the weakness or lack of security in bitcoin exchanges, not keeping their coins offline in safe cold storage as well as being hosted on almost personal plans, and with some effort can gain access to it,
From MTGOX to today, no one should keep a balance at an exchange for more than the regularly used amount for day trading IMO, anything more should be withdrawn.
You're right. We regularly see news about hacked exchanges. This time stolen amount of bitcoins isn't extremely big, but still, it shows that exchanges aren't safest place to keep bitcoins, because risk that exchange can be hacked is big. But many people didn't learn from these stories and using exchanges as their wallet.

9464  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: ▲ IS 80 - 120 Satoshi Every Hour A Good Satoshi Claim Amount,? on: July 03, 2017, 11:44:52 PM
That's a total waste of time; there are faucets offering between 1000 and 3000 satoshis every 10 minutes and yet it's not worth my time how much more 80-100 every hour, dude better get serious and be competitive.
Seriously? Tell me at least one legit faucet with such high payment rates. Even when bitcoins was worth $200, most generous faucet were giving 1000 satoshi hourly. 80-100 satoshi every hour is really competetive rewards today, not many faucets afford to have such rates.

9466  Other / Politics & Society / Re: When did the 4th of July become so commercialized ? on: July 03, 2017, 11:08:32 PM
Everything is commercialized in USA and 4th July isn't exception. It's like part of American culture - special days with huge sales. And business are using these days to sell as much stuff as they can. Now we can see how this commercial culture are expanding to other countries.
9467  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Wallet vs Exchange on: July 03, 2017, 10:58:46 PM
Ok,

my question is, how much coins you keep in wallet and how much on exchanges?

Is it like 50/50 or more like 90/10?

In depens what you are doing with your coins and how much do you have.
If you aren't trading and just holding bitcoins, it would be best to keep ALL coins in a wallet. If you are trading, keep on exchange amount of bitcoins, which would be enough to trade.
I'm not serious trader, so I'm only keeping less than 10% of my bitcoins.
9468  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do Altcoins really have a future? on: July 03, 2017, 10:41:04 PM
Some altcoins have future, others don't have.
These coins which have unique features or advantages against bitcoin, professional devs team and other important things, these coins have future.
Ofcourse, we don't talk about majority of ICO coins. These coins are mainly created to get investments without thinking about future of coin. And I'm not really sure that ICO markets wil exist after some years.
Coins like Ethereum, Litecoin, Dash and Monero is the main whales, but if we compare it with bitcoin, in general, we can't use these coins in our real life, for example to purchase something. This is one of the main things why we can be sceptical about future of altcoins.
9469  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Most ICOs not available in USA on: July 03, 2017, 10:29:15 PM
Most ICOs are not available in the US. Is there a way to still buy them here in US???
how is buying prevented?
Aren't you sending crypto somewhere and getting crypto? How can they know you are in US?

I was thinking the same too. I am trying to buy NIMIQ ico but when i go to their website and try to buy them, they know that the IP ADDRESS is from the US and wont let me proceed further. I really want to buy this one.
I'm not really sure why they are not accepting buyers from USA. If you want to buy this coin, you can try to do it by using Proxy. If you don't want to use paid proxy, you can try to use free services like Hola.
9470  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Fifa Confederations Cup 2017 discussion and predictions Thread on: July 03, 2017, 10:20:24 PM
Congratulations to Germany, a very young squad lifted the trophy. Will be interesting to see how they develop over the coming years.
It will be interesting how many of these players we will see in World Cup next year. This young squad prooved what they can. But main Germany squad is already full of great players... For example, Ter-Stegen played great in this competition, but Germany have absolute No. 1 Neuer in GK position. Similar situation in other positions
But some important players like Lahm or Podolski already ended career in national team.

WOW

Generous bastard that I am.. Buy a nice beer from my overpaid fees, alright Blacksmith...?  Wink
Majority exchanges have fixed fees which is bigger than paid transaction fee. Exchanges are taking part of these btc as service fee. Now lot of exchanges have fees between 0.0008-0.0015 btc, and Kraken is absolute leader, their fee is 0.0025 btc. So, there are no need to blame only Yobit for it.
9473  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] CONCOIN - The most dangerous cryptocurrency in the world™ on: July 02, 2017, 11:40:50 PM
This is a fascinating and unique concept for a coin. However, I just want to know how the inmates can access the internet when they are restricted? Are there prisons or correctional that allows them to use it, for example, utilize it to transact money on an exchange?
I agree, this program is really unique. I didn't imagine that even inmates will be exposed in digital currency. I think regarding on your question if how they can access the internet, they have the schedule in what time or day can use the computer system. They might be resticted on some case like a watcher should beside them while the session is on going...
Inmates in some prisons may have their PC or laptop, but only without internet connection. Also, they don't have right to have mobile or smart phone. But many of prisoners secretly have their phones and this is how they can use Concoin.
9474  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: FreeBitco.in - Win free Bitcoins every hour! on: July 02, 2017, 03:43:49 PM

Second. For those of you that play the FreeDoge.co.in game, we've halved the payout for the Free Doge rolls. The site has been less profitable and we've had to reduce the payouts as a result. I know a few of you had specific questions about this...if others have questions PM me!

That is all. For those in the US and Canada enjoy the holiday weekend!

Hi Myfe, the halved payout of freedoge.co.in are permanent or just temporary? because i play freedoge.co.in and many of my friends too
This is what wetsuit answered to me when I asked about lowered reward:
Quote
Sorry, the lowest prize has been halved for everyone because the site hardly makes any money and we have been running it at a loss for a while.
I think that when (if) site will become profitable again, they will increase basic reward

Finally lottery will be provably fair. People will don't have to create all these accusations that lottery is rigged anymore. I hope that fair game will bring me a lottery prize finally. Offcourse, chances is low, as always.
9476  Economy / Gambling / Re: Bet on WWE on: July 02, 2017, 11:34:44 AM
Bet on WWE, seriously? It's fake sports and all "fights" winners are decided by show creators.
What's next? Bet on popular TV series like Game of Thrones, House of cards or the Walking Dead Cheesy?

9478  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [BREAKING NEWS] Poland blocks illegal fiat gambling sites. on: July 02, 2017, 12:01:22 AM
Exact same blocking happened in my country last year, government started to block sites, which aren't registered in our country. But it's easy to bypass, we only have to change DNS settings. Also, gambling sites started to create alternative domains which aren't blocked.
But these blockings had small impact. Few sportsbooks started to not accept customers from my country and closed accounts for these who had it previously.

Portugal vs Mexico will be intresting match. Without C.Ronaldo Portugal aren't much better team than Mexico. But I think Portugal will win. They already prooved that they can play without CR7 in Euro 2016 final.
Germany vs Chile. I think game will be similar to what we saw in group stay and both teams try to not risk. If we will see penalty shootout, it will be unpredictable. Last penalty shootouts for Chile in Copa America finals and semi final against Portugal was successful. But we all know that Germany almost never loose on penalties.
I will bet on Chile, but just because I like them.
