Thanks Smiley
I still have to make the bitads admin validate my account first
A-ads doesn't need any validation though... I think I'll use a-ads for now

I just added them in 0.2.25
Chrome users must wait until the server is up back or until I set up a new server
I will kick his ass for you.
I did it, by choosing a-ads Grin

I noticed that there is a permanent '*' now that the server is down. If the server is still dead this evening I'll register elsewhere.
Yeah, I wanted to tell you that. It might be smart to disable that when the server is down Tongue
Better fix it!

0.2.27 fixes the *, hides the [ ] [+ -] when the server is down and disable the user links (toggle sig, report scammer and add note)
I would prefer not seeing it at all, instead of not working links Tongue But oh well, I nag to much.

9503  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: Why doesn't this transaction get included? on: November 04, 2013, 07:52:02 PM
So, you are basically saying that a Faucet should increase the minimum amount before someone gets a payout to a very high value? Because if so I might just quit using transactions and just do everything using PeerBet. (Transactions get dropped after a while, right?).

Note to self: You really really really have to read the white paper and all the technical details.
9504  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: Why doesn't this transaction get included? on: November 04, 2013, 05:54:49 PM
You can also specifically add nodes for miners that indiscriminately include any transactions, regardless of the dust limit:
https://en.bitcoin.it/wiki/Free_transaction_relay_policy
Well I use the BlockChain.info API so I don't think that is possible.

No worries man. I can keep it open for a little bit longer, but if I don't get any donation / more from my ads, I will have to close. I have put in over BTC0.5 and I cannot keep doing that.

What about decrease the faucet payouts. Its better to get less than shutting your faucet.
I give away between 50 and 1000 satoshi's with a max. price win of 3000. I cannot go much lower...

Would increasing the fee and pushing it again help?
9508  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: Why doesn't this transaction get included? on: November 04, 2013, 04:40:12 PM
This transaction has two outputs (3 and 13) with a value of 0.00005450, which is below the dust threshold of 0.00005460 (yes, 0.00005460. The often-quoted value of 0.00005430 is a miscalculation.) Therefore, the transaction won't be accepted or relayed by unmodified satoshi clients at the default settings.
Gonna the threshold then. But still, that doesn't explain why my other transactions got accepted that fast, but not this isn't.

We are running out of funds and if our advertisement places don't bring in more Bitcoins we are facing a serious problem.
We have no idea how we are going to handle this and we might have to shut down the faucet temporarily.

Sad news friend  Cry , Thank you very much for all the Bitcoins you shared with the community  Smiley

PS: If I had coins I'd give them to you for the faucet without a doubt , but unfortunately I do not have any coins either Cry

Maybe miners have increased the value of what they consider spam transactions themselves. BTC amounts:

-snip-

Well, I never had that problem, so that would be odd...
9513  Economy / Services / Re: Website Preview: BITADS.NET. Now Pay-Per-Day! on: November 03, 2013, 09:55:32 PM
You know what I noticed, the ridiculous low advertisement prices. In the beginning of BitAds you could ask BTC0.01 a day, now it has to be BTC0.0001 if you want to sell advertisement space. Yes, I know the price increased, but not high enough to explain such a jump.
I agree. The faucet I run can't even be self-sufficient with all my ad units filled because it only gives me enough BTC for 4 cashouts per day which definitely isn't enough.
+1. I could sustain my faucet with ease in the beginning, but not anymore. I am so close to shutting it down, because I cannot keep sustaining it with personal funds.
How much personal BTC do you gotta put in every month to keep it up?
I can say that I have put over 0.5BTC of my personal funds into it.

9517  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Ebay again talking about Bitcoin on: November 03, 2013, 09:01:46 PM
If Bitmit becomes more popular  then that may well kick the people who run ebay/paypal into taking it seriously.
+1
but if ebay was to accept bitcoins bitmit would be useless imho
Well BitMit has a escrow service. Dunno if eBay has it, but that is a huge plus.
9518  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Why doesn't this transaction get included? on: November 03, 2013, 08:58:08 PM
Hello everyone,

4 hours ago I did a transaction with BTC0.0025 fee to persons who requested a payment from my faucet (TX can be found here). Normally these get confirmed very quickly, but this time it takes such a long time. The transaction isn't to big, fee's are high enough and all the inputs are confirmed.

Can anyone shed a light on this, because I don't get it. Roll Eyes

EDIT: Could a pool owner please include this transaction (and the other not confirmed transaction)? It would be much appreciated and I think my users would love you for it.

Why wouldn't it be safe lol? The only thing they could do is see to which address you send those BTC too.
