9501  Other / Meta / Re: Phishing link on: June 11, 2014, 05:41:25 PM
just report the PM, no need to post this here.

Already reported, Because of posting here admin/mod will take action soon.

The reported PMs are only visible to theymos to handle. Anyway I banned him, because theymos is not online now.

You can ban people? I thought it as only Theymos, Badbear and a few others that could do that, or can you ban newbs or something?
9502  Other / Meta / Re: Ban request on: June 11, 2014, 05:13:04 PM
Not usually, but you can get banned for repeatedly trolling or posting in a self-moderated thread when you've been asked not to.
9503  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: BUY BTC with PayPal on: June 11, 2014, 04:44:25 PM
I can help you by telling you you're wasting your time trying to buy bitcoins on here for PP regardless of your intentions. Nobody will sell you the coins. If you can only use PP try eBay, or withdraw the money from your PP account and use a money transfer service or just do a bank transfer.
9504  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: trying to understand bitcoin and how to get to 1 on: June 11, 2014, 04:37:39 PM
You'll do nothing but waste your time on faucets. The easiest way for you to get some coins is try sell some items for them either on the marketplace here or on a eBay-like site such as cryptothrift. You could also just do small jobs in the real world and buy coins with your earnings.

And yes, PayPal isn't advised as many people just file a PayPal claim and get their money back.
9505  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: BUY BTC with PayPal on: June 11, 2014, 04:33:15 PM
Being verified doesn't matter. Nobody will sell you any coins for PayPal because you can just do a chargeback and get your money straight back. Why can't you do a bank transfer or use something like western union etc?
9506  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: BUY BTC with PayPal on: June 11, 2014, 04:25:52 PM
Nobody is going to seek bitcoins to a newb for PayPal. Read the sticky in this forum.
9507  Other / Meta / Re: Moderator Pls Banned my ID on: June 11, 2014, 04:19:07 PM
Haha. You can delete your own posts. Mods won't delete them (or your account).
9508  Economy / Services / Re: [PrimeDice] [Highest Paid Signature] Earn up to 2.4 BTC/Month by Posting on: June 11, 2014, 03:43:56 PM
I really wonder how many members are in the PD campaign right now. Cheesy Half the forum?

That's how it was back in the day. Wasn't much competition though as compared to what there is now. Deals come and go but PD is still going strong and growing stronger.
9509  Economy / Services / Re: WE PAY FOR SIGNATURE EVEN MORE. UP TO 0.0016 BTCs PER POST. WEEKLY PAYOUTS. on: June 11, 2014, 03:37:24 PM
A month is too long to wait for a risky deal like this one, but it's not when you've been on a long-standing and legit one. This was only weekly initially to gain trust, but that didn't exactly turn out as planned.
9510  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: When one coin dies? on: June 11, 2014, 03:29:42 PM
There's been a few coins resurrected in the past, but I'm not sure why they'd bother really (unless you've got a shitload of coins in it or something).
9511  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: primedice or luckybit signature on: June 11, 2014, 02:53:56 PM
I am going to choose luckybit, as it is only open till the 13th of this month. If i post more than 125 times during a month, i will switch to primedice.

Thank you all.
you are at the beginning of joining signature campaign
i'm sure you will post a lot, especially when your campaign is pay per post type
wait and see, PD maybe raise their rate in this month

You are the second guy to say PD is about to raise its rate. Do you have a source ?

Next term we will be offering the highest rates once again by a long shot (Not just over cutting a bit). We will also be considering doing weekly payouts Smiley.

Thanks for your continued support guys.

Though the main competition has dropped off so I'm not sure if he will raise the rates, especially with the massive amount of new sign-ups.

See my post above. And you don't need to bump your post after a few minutes.
9515  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: Buying BTC for $10 Paypal on: June 11, 2014, 01:07:22 PM
Not gonna happen. Read the sticky in this sub forum. If you need such a small amount desperately get it from eBay.
9516  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Expedia, world's largest travel company, now accepts Bitcoin. Your thoughts? on: June 11, 2014, 12:59:51 PM

What do you guys think about this? Do you think it will affect the BTC price?

I personally believe this is even better than when Overstock started to take BTC.

Nou sure what their revenue is, but personally I think it's a huge step indeed. Nice move from expedia.

4 billion in revenue.

http://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Expedia,_Inc
http://www.expediainc.com/about/

Seems to be only growing as well. Up nearly 19% first quarter: http://www.foxbusiness.com/industries/2014/05/01/expedia-revenue-rises-on-bookings-growth/

Wow, that is great news, and yeah, I think it's probably a bigger deal than Overstock. I'd never actually even heard of them until they started accepting Bitcoin, but Expedia is pretty huge. One of my goals is to be able to travel the world on Bitcoin so this is another step in the right direction.

Awesome goal! I hope you do it

Thanks. I hope so too.
9517  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Google Finance now showing Bitcoin prices aswell on: June 11, 2014, 12:57:03 PM
Cool, if they finally get it working properly, but I'm waiting for the time you can just google '1btc to usd' or whatever and it brings up the currency conversion automatically like it does for '1gbp to usd' etc.
The question is: Which exchange rate would they take?
But, do be honest, I also don't know, which exchange rate, Google takes for USD EUR conversion.

Well I think it will probably just be based on an average like I think they do for other currencies.
9518  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Losers on: June 11, 2014, 12:49:48 PM
Bitcoin isn't a magical money making scheme. It's always a risky business investing in anything, but the first rule of investing is always only risk what you can afford to lose. Your faith in Bitcoin as a technology shouldn't have been shattered but maybe you're just in it for the wrong reasons. All you can do now is to hold onto the coin and hope it regains the cash value you paid for it which I'm sure it will eventually do.
