Your nodes do not help much. I tried them but the synchronization is still very slow and stucks most time. Another nodes?

hey guys, cant seem to get a connection on the wallet here using the node list on OP, any ideas on where im going wrong

Many thanjs

Try these:

addnode=104.238.133.29:30137
addnode=5.250.177.20:30137
addnode=104.236.7.58:30137
addnode=173.24.6.175:30137
addnode=75.130.163.51:30137
addnode=96.19.216.113:30137
addnode=52.1.58.210:39601

I got these from running getpeerinfo on an active node with 8 connections.

9545  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: BTC in your country on: July 18, 2015, 08:55:51 AM
It would be nice if someone states something about his/her country, to the name the country, too, in order to get an imagination what's going on about Bitcoin and crypto currencies in the particular countries Wink

9547  Other / Off-topic / Re: How many Bitcoins are lost forever? on: July 18, 2015, 08:49:38 AM
This is much to less if you follow all the proofed looses.
I just read this today http://www.newsbtc.com/2015/06/01/blockchain-sent-8k-worth-bitcoin-to-wrong-address/
Another 8k of Bitcoins are (probably) lost forever, if no one has the private key of the wrong address.

If you are looking for a number, my guess is about 5000 lost bitcoins if we gather all together. And even more...

So, your trading theory is that every altcoin lower than 100 sats rises automatically within days?  Roll Eyes
9550  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How to make Bitcoin transactions untraceable? on: July 17, 2015, 09:03:17 PM
Did i get something wrong? i thought Xapo is a third-party wallet provider, too.

The bitmixer might be the right option for you but if you don't want to the third party involvement, check out Xapo.
9551  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How to make Bitcoin transactions untraceable? on: July 17, 2015, 09:01:02 PM
thanks, i already thought about the idea of using at least two exchanges to make untraceable transactions. but it is some work with some risk. it works for amount < 5BTC. Larger amounts are problematically in my eyes.

use more than two exchanges and turn your bitcoin in monero or another cryptonight coin that is less known, it should be enough to hide your transactions
9552  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What is your trading strategy? on: July 17, 2015, 08:52:57 PM
Buy a significant amount of all coins between top 3 and top 15 and wait until the Chinese pump them. Similar to Litecoin, Dash, Masternode and probably Peercoin and Namecoin over the last weeks. Strategy works fine.  Cool
9553  Economy / Economics / Re: eBay official splits from Paypal on: July 17, 2015, 08:34:38 PM
i think ebay will meet the fate of Yahoo. Paypal was ebay's cash machine. Without it, Ebay will be a less profitable internet company with limited growth.

9555  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: BTC vs. early internet Investments on: July 17, 2015, 06:24:29 PM

 Mainly because nowadays most everyone has a computer powerful enough and internet connection fast enough to create and maintain a website right from home.  This allows lot of service type "start ups" or even new products to be advertised, sold and such right from home, eliminating a lot of the cost/hassle that was probably there before.

Yes, the costs went down over the last years. Everyone can now create highly scalable apps and websites in short time just by using the infrastructures of Google or Amazon. Years ago, every startup had to manage this on their own. This times are over. Now they can completely focus on core development.
9556  Economy / Services / Re: Coinoindex.com signature campaign! on: July 17, 2015, 06:18:45 PM
Okay, good to know. I planned to change my signature ad to coinoindex after the next coinomat payment on upcoming Monday  Cheesy

So, you are going to pay more for coinoindex sig campaign compared to coinomat? At least for hero member rank, it is 0.0012 BTC (coinoindex) vs. 0.001 BTC (coinomat). Or do you plan to adapt the post reward for coinomat to 0.0012 BTC, too?

I think coinomat campaign will be closed, they said something about people moving to the new campaign when they made the new payment
9557  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I am pretty confident we are the new wealthy elite, gentlemen. on: July 17, 2015, 06:16:15 PM
I am personally are not a fan of regulation. But if Bitcoin should become mainstream and if it should create more value (in order to become the rich new elite  Cheesy) then regulation is absolutely needed Wink

A lot of people are upset about the increased regulation that Bitcoin is seeing.

That regulation came about as a direct result of Mt.Gox (and several others) failing to honor their commitments, and is mostly intended to prevent a recurrence.  Given what the effin' amateurs whose pretenses or attempts at doing solid business have cost Bitcoin holders so far, it's not a disproportionate response.

So, whatever other people feel about increased regulation, I can't say that it was the wrong thing to do.

9560  Other / Beginners & Help / How to make Bitcoin transactions untraceable? on: July 17, 2015, 05:41:39 PM
I am wondering whether it is possible to make Bitcoin transactions untraceable or not? As long as I know, Altcoins like Monero, BitcoinDark or Dash are using different concepts in order to make transactions untraceable. Is it also possible for Bitcoin by using some extra tools?
