I am just curious. Do you have reasons why the Nxt communtiy wasn't very supportive? From my experience, they are very open-minded and supportive for new ideas no matter are crazy they are <snip>
Why NXT is just not using AT like QORA and BURST is doing ? Easier workaround IMO That would be really great! AT on Nxt was discussed long ago (early 2014) and I supported it (still have a big chunk of NxtAT assets ). AFAIK the Nxt AT project isn't dead - yet, but nobody knows if or when this will be integrated into Nxt. Creating a working ACCT between these three coins would show the Nxt community the real potential behind AT, arousing interest again for a complete AT implementation. The advantage for Qora and Burst (besides trading them in NXT) would be that you could buy these coins with BTC in two steps using the nxt-based multigateway, fully decentralized! CIYAM originally was working on AT at NXT and it was planned to be implemented there, but if from what I remember correctly they weren't very supportive. To bad for them. Also, congratulations to Burst and Qora. That is quite an accomplishment.

Made 0.25BTC today by trading Qora coin on Poloniex. Bought the coin with 0.25BTC about two weeks ago at 5 sats, tonight it was at 10sats and I sold. Doubled my investment. Was a good and pretty savely deal because 5 sats was the buttom for several weeks and there were very good news around the coin. Thus, a price increase was very sure

I run a test and it gives me the key in the following format. Seed number was 10000000000000000000. Private: 8ac7230489e80000 Public: 041330daea0d10ec59a9f65dedd79651fad3388a2f16738678c2a1c67077038dab0e909efa28690 12fc532b4552ae7400c8760113b2fcc6f76b71a7077d43a5f9f How can I get the format 1EHNa6Q4Jz2uvNExL497mE43ikXhwF6kZm (public key) and 5HpHagT65TZzG1PH3CSu63k8DbpvD8s5ip4nEB3kEsreAnchuDf (private key) ? I am looking for a Python snippet to create public/private key pairs for Bitcoin just by providing an arbitrary number between 1 and 10^77. Can someone provide such a snippet?
Try this: from ecdsa.ecdsa import * from binascii import hexlify
def getKeys(secretNumber): pubKey = Public_key(generator_secp256k1,generator_secp256k1*secretNumber) formattedPubKey = hexlify('\x04'+int_to_string(pubKey.point.x())+int_to_string(pubKey.point.y())) formattedPrivKey = hex(secretNumber)[2:-1] return (formattedPrivKey, formattedPubKey)
If you don't have python-ecdsa installed, you can get it here: https://github.com/warner/python-ecdsa

You really give loans through Paypal? It is pretty easy to scam you because such methods are not allowed. Look a the term of Paypal. I give loans elsewhere, but only through Paypal. Is that an option here or is btc the only route? If it is, would any of you fair people happen to know some people who would be up for that? I'm asking because I'd like to gain new clients. Both short term and long. Appreciate any help, thanks.

The idea of gaming on the blockchain has been suggested several times throughout the board. The main problem yet is that the block time is still relatively high. To create games based on the blockchain you need block generation times of less than 10 seconds.

I would like to have some fancy charts of incoming and outgoing transaction amounts for different addresse I've created with my wallet. A wallet based on node.js would also be great.

Without government support crypto currencies will in normal times ever be just a niche thing for nerds, techies and libertarians. You need the government regulation and acceptance to reach the mass and mainstream. I say keepz the government out of da cryptos all together. We don't need them. we don't want them. We are strong without them.

On May 12th, Denmark-based Bitcoin payment processor and exchange Coinify announced expansion into the Single Euro Payments Area, or SEPA. By expanding, Coinify trade functionality is now accessible to 33 countries beyond Denmark and over 500 million citizens. To compete in the SEPA arena, exchange fees have also been restructured and lowered. Great news in my eyes. With SEPA, the exchange can access over 20 million busniess all over Europe. http://www.coinbuzz.com/2015/05/14/coinify-expands-to-34-sepa-countries/

Okay, you are right. Google Chrome uses another concept. By using Safari or Firefox there appears a button in the address field that indicates that there is a RSS feed for the site. The Feed for BitcoinNewsMagazine is feed://bitcoinnewsmagazine.com/feed/ If you open the site, your browser will show you if there is a RSS feed available. Just a hint: It is! Can you please give me more info? i am using chrome but there is nothing indicating that there is an rss feed available. Of course there is another way... By viewing the source and there, i can see the rss url.

Giropay. Hat alles einwandfrei funktioniert.

"The latest survey by the Digital Currency Council (DCC) reveals a record 12% of US consumers were either “likely” or “highly likely” to use Bitcoin in 2015. A representative sample of 357 adult participants in March also reflected the growing trend of younger age groups fuelling interest and practical usage of digital currency. The findings formed part of the DCC’s seventh and latest Pulse Report, an ad hoc statistics series on a range of issues affecting the digital currency industry." I am really surprised about that 12% of the US people know about Bitcoin and even would consider to pay with it. http://cointelegraph.com/news/114257/dcc-survey-12-of-us-consumers-likely-to-use-bitcoin-in-2015

It's getting really confusing what the most up-to-date version of Nxt is. There is a 1.4.xx and a 1.5.xx line at the same time. I am in the field to understand the differences but new users must be very confused Isn't is possible to bring both together?

The new Starbucks is around the corner “This is a coffee shop like the type you find in the United States, but with Argentine style. The idea is to have a friendly place where people can relax and be in touch with technology without it being invasive. I often found myself working on projects on my own at coffee shops and bars where, in general, I didn’t have a place to plug in the computer or the cell phone. I noticed a need in this area and I got the idea for Bitcoffee.” http://digitalmoneytimes.com/crypto-news/bitcoffee-lets-you-buy-coffee-with-bitcoin-in-buenos-aires/
