The thing is D. Rose is never gonna prove his worth ever again. He'll probably have another season ending injury midway.
As long as he can play he can prove something, so I guess we should not make a conclusion yet.
He was once a great player, he need to live that expectation to make his fans happy and I hope he can really recover very well.
Yes he was once, but that was before. He maybe still a threat but not that much. He is always getting injured and he's getting older. I'm also a fan of this guy but we need to accept the fact that he can't play like the old times again.

No he's not old. He's just 28 and that age is under the age of peak performance. He was just destroyed by his injuries every year that's why his performance got detoriated. Yes we can't really watched him again doing those monster moves in the past because of that.

Since we talked about Derrick Rose, I remember Chicago Bulls. Latest news is, Dwayne Wade might not be on this team before the season begin. If this will happened, they are maximizing their position at 2018 draft where there is a change that they can get the top pick. Looks like Bulls have no intention to make it too far this season following Butler release and rumors about Wade. This was the same things done by Boston Celtics sacrificing number of season and now having a good lineu again and contender on the East.

Im not just updated but in the past there are food stores here that accepts bitcoin even upon "DELIVERY".

The Bunny Baker  (In their original branch, bitcoin was being accepted way back IIRC 2015. Didn't sure about their current and only branch)

Wirin Cupcakery

Mr. D’s Artisanal Sundries

That's all I know since that was a part of our early discussion in our social group back then.

What is your...what strategy...experience...game....bla bla bla...what about this:
How many of you gambled when you were drunk? Or stoned? Experience?
Don't gamble when you are drunk.
Just....do not.

Why? Are there any serious problems that we can encountered if we play gambling while drunk? Or based on your experience, it didn't work well or just simply have a bad moments doing that?

Mostly when we are doing gambling outside the cyber world, drinking is part of the session. Sometimes I lose but overall stats is winning. So I don't think that being a drunker is a big concern when dealing in a gambling session.
9544  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Should I sell? on: August 16, 2017, 11:56:15 PM
Hi, all. I have 20 Litecoin and some Ethereum … around 5.7 Ethereum. Bitcoin price seems to be rising, and fast. My question is should I sell my Ethereum and Litecoin now and buy Bitcoin? I checked the price of Bitcoin today. It went down quite a bit. Do you think there is going to be a healthy correction before the price rises again? I feel like I should wait for a couple more days and view the trend. The problem with that is Litecoin seems to be gradually falling. The same is happening with Ethereum. What do you all think?

Since price is unpredictable plus the fact those coins involved in your portfolio can be seen a good price increase in the future, I suggest to hold it instead. Now to take advantage of bitcoin price rise, do you have any spare funds? You can used that to buy bitcoin or earned it without buying.

As long as bitcoin price is rising, don't worry about the price fall of ETH and LTC as you will still have a good returns on BTC in terms of USD value once you exchanged it. ETh and LTC have a solid barrier and it's kind of having low chance to really reached the low price that we aren't expecting.

But still you will have the final decision. Up to you what should have be done.

Looks like New York Knicks will probably turned down the offer to get Kyrie Irving in exchange for Kristaps Porzingis. Well if Im on the Knicks I will do the same. I see Kristaps Porzingis will improved more and can be a role player on a team. I also see my long time idol Dirk Nowitzki to this guy.

Well Cavaliers really targeting younger players and that is good for the future of the franchise as no doubt some members of rosters are kinda on their mid peak now so they really need those.

The younger the stronger and more endurance they can have for a longer time of playing. And that's why they are training this more and getting the young ones for their team. I don't really know on where Kyrie Irving will go because of this issue, does anybody here have an insight on what team he is going to after having some negative chance with NYK?

The drama still goes on. Right now, there's is no clear path at the moment where Kyrie should be land. Different teams, East or West, still on the table.

I can only speculate that he still open and shopping for a team. And of course Cavaliers is looking for the best option that they can get if they are going to release him to any team. And since the news broke out with NYK, he is back to square one again. I guess we have to wait a little longer to see what team is he officially moving.

Apparently Lebron James won't be back with the Cavs next year (an NBA source said) so the Cavs are looking to get a young prospect in exchange of another (Irving). I think the Knicks should do it honestly, they will get a huge franchise player and a proven all star, it will great for NY marketing team. Porzingis of course is a great player but I don't know if it fits in NY that well, I mean, he seems destined to be in another team in my opinion, a more serious contender.

It helps that Irving is pushing this trade to happen supposedly so we'll see what happens. I would even unload Thompson alongside Irving to be honest to make it happen.

Yes Lebron James will probably make a transfer to other team that's why Cavaliers management should make up some good move today and take this advantage to get more caliber players in exchange for Kyrie Irving. They must make a decision here so that they aren't the losers here after they closed the deal.

And agree, including Thompson on the deal alongside with Irving can have a good package in return. Much wiser than doing a seperate trades for me.
9546  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How do we actually cash out of BTC? on: August 16, 2017, 11:21:46 PM
Or any alt-coins?  Meaning, turn our BTC into USD.

We have different ways depends on location and accessibility.

First look first at exchanges where your country is supported. After that check and test it. The instuctions of how things should be done will be listed on that exchange. Ok to minimize your work, in what country you from?
9547  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Keeping track of coins on multiple exchanges on: August 16, 2017, 11:04:52 PM
Hi Everyone,

I'm relatively new to the bitcoin/altcoin scene, although I've put in a few hundred hours of research, and put a sizeable chunk of change into coins.

Here's my question: I have multiple currencies on various platforms (e.g., bittrex, binance). Due to the nature of the purchases, I cannot keep all my coins in one place (as some are not available on certain platforms). However, I want an easy and efficient way to track which coins were purchased, at what price, and (ideally) their current value. It's annoying and time consuming to check in on three different exchanges 5 times a day. Has anyone come up with a solution to this? Or any tips on how to be more efficient in the monitoring of my coins?

Thanks in advance,

Toby

Im using Blockfolio app on Android to monitor some of my coins in my portfolio. It's easy to use and no need for detailed information. Also a handy one since even you are out on your desk, you can accessed it anytime, anywhere of course as long as you have an active data connection lol.

Here's the link: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.blockfolio.blockfolio

If you are having trouble accessing playstore, I can provide you an .apk file.

Not part of your question but if you want to monitor Bitcoin price at different exchanges, you can use Bitcoin Ticker Widget on Android or Bitcoin Wisdom on dekstop.

9549  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will bitcoin go pass the 5000 USD mark? on: August 16, 2017, 10:01:01 PM
With the price at 4100 USD per bitcoin. Is it a good time to join? will it go pass the 5000 USD mark?

The same question was asked back in $1,000, $2,000, $3,000 and so on, so I think you can make a conclusion now on your question about "is it a good time to join?". Bitcoin is long term so expect that $5,000 is breachable even it may not happen now.

Even after you bought at the current rate then the price suddenly decrease, just hold it. After all it may reached again the price level you able to bought. Now that hopes for bitcoin price to increase more is on the hype right now, you have reason to believe that soon it will hit $5,000 mark or even higher.

If you want to take the risk, then you can consider buying at this rate.
9550  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Bittrex Withdrawal Problem due to Verification on: August 14, 2017, 07:30:40 PM
Recenetly I created a Bittrex exchange account and began doing trading there.

Now that I want to do withdrawals, I have prompt saying that I need to wait 24 hours due to limits and asking me to verified. Is this how Bittrex works? In other exchanges there is a thing called Level 1 stage where people can withdraw even they are not verified as long as not reaching the limit.

The amount involved is only around $40 so I don't get it why they have restriction for that kind of amount. Thanks for those who will respond.

I will based on the word "recently". I don't know when it was started in Bittrex (ok the date was given above by one of the posters) but you need to verified at least the Basic Verification and submit your phone number (also confirmed it) before you will get rid of that withdrawal error. Believe me, it will now work and you don't need to submit any documents for this or enable 2FA.

IMPORTANT THING: If you will do enhanced verification in the future, you must fill up your basic verification the same with the information on the ID's you will provided in the future.
9551  Bitcoin / Wallet software / Re: Are bitcoin wallet applications safe on phones? on: August 10, 2017, 08:59:14 PM

Hi! Is electrum wallet only in android? Thank you.

It has a desktop platform.  https://electrum.org/#download

Now i am less worried about this matter. I dont have to buy new device just for this thing.

Bitcoin is kinda safe on mobile as long as the wallet you will used has a feature of giving your private keys. Don't use exchange wallets applications for phones to act as your storage, just used their services. Above all of this, you are the one who will make all things safe since the security of your phone will depend solely on you.
9552  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin in Economics class? on: August 10, 2017, 08:33:34 PM
No, bitcoin is an investment at the moment, i dont think that Economic proffesors would like to talk about this "cryptocurrencie" as this is something new. also i dont think that government and banks would like to know that teenagers are learning about this new era of coin that could replace the banks, so yes, absolutely not. It would be amazing but i dont think it will happen.

Disagree. Bitcoin is not purely an investment today compare back then. If still crytocurrencies are not being recognized as part of economic system based on your preferences then I see you have a big criteria for bitcoin to become part of it. I guess you need the whole world to recognized bitcoin before you can consider this currency as being used as a normal currency and not purely as an investment?

Also in a country where bitcoin can be freely used, I don't see governments will modified the current teachings for Economics subject and to implement schools not to teach anything about ctypto. It's out of their line because in the first place bitcoin was not banned on that country. About banks, it's impossible they will instruct schools not to teach cryptos. And where did you get your source that OVERALL banks thinks that they will be replaced by bitcoin?
9553  Economy / Speculation / Re: Should I invest On BITCOIN right Now or Later on: August 10, 2017, 07:55:48 PM
It's not too late to invest in bitcoin. Now price of bitcoin quite high, but all believe and optimistic this hasn't reached the peak. Enjoying popularity as well as advantages having bitcoin is good income for us.

Yeah its good to invest in bitcoins now even though price is higher as price is continuously rising so we can expect that it will go even higher in coming months so if you are investing in it now there is a full possibility that you will make good profits in future.

Yes it's making sense.

Back then $1,000 value is considered as high price so basically an average bitcoiner doesn't wan to take the risk of buying and decided to wait for more dips but it doesn't happened. Now $1,000 is a bargain price to be considered. Same scenarios goes when price hits $1,500, $2,000 and so on.

In here we can really positively speculate that bitcoin will increase more while it progress. Expect big crash but soon it will be recoved. To purchase or not to purchase will depend on how people will handle those risks. Be brave enough because it's worth a shot.
9554  Bitcoin / Electrum / Re: Electrum Question on: August 10, 2017, 07:42:59 PM
The problem is, Im having a hard time to compute Person's A total winnings because of the long list so I think if I can distribute winnings by doing one on one evaluation on the sheets, it will work saving my ass to do digging the other sheets to compute their payments.

Refer to post above your post (HCP's response).

You can check if there's a double entry by clicking on PREVIEW. If there's a same address, it will lineup accordingly and to that you can now modified it and make it as one. You just need some little work here but it's not a hassle one. Smiley
9555  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2016/17 NBA Season on: August 10, 2017, 07:10:09 PM
Yes I also read about Paul George rumors but I don't know how authenticate is it.

"Warriors owner Joe Lacob “is going to try and find a way” to get George to Golden State."

These are some of the ways:
- They must give up some of their caliber players in order to acquired George.
- George must demand for it
- They have to build up a better package

But in this case, GSW management is the one who will pursue to get George. It's different if this guy is eager to joined GSW like what Kevin Durant did that he sacrifice his salary just to get to this team.

If this will happened super team will now become a super team more. Really a bad idea as it will destroys excitement.
9556  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What Is Your Bitcoin Dream? on: August 10, 2017, 06:25:01 PM
Honestly I don't have any plan for it yet but one thing for sure I want to make my own "dream" things that a value of bitcoin can give me. We are all waiting for that spectacular price but I doubt one will sold even at $100,000 if the trend that time will be continous bullish. What I mean is, how far we will become greed?

E.g; there are people who already acquired their dream things (gadgets, desires, etc) because of their bitcoin earnings. But after they sees that bitcoin price increase more after they spend it, they feel regret of what they did. See? They didn't think of it that bitcoin can still be earned again and what more important is they able to get their dream things so feeling regret doesn't make sense. Greed or not?
9557  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: After fork happenings for you on: August 10, 2017, 05:19:45 PM
So guys, i was just wondering, what good or bad effects did the bitcoin fork gibe you??
Good day.

I face all the risks including all the negative speculations prior to August 1st events. If win then win, if lose then lose.

And now, it was being compensated with the current price right now plus the value of BCH. We have some positive things to be considered to become an optimist back then while August 1st is approaching especially with the updates about the possible things to happen. I decided to bet on the future because I see it's worth a shot and now look at what happened.

BTC and BCH is currently on hand and just idled.
9558  Economy / Speculation / Re: How MUCH will the FINAL BTC be WORTH? on: August 10, 2017, 05:06:23 PM
The answer is obvious and we all know that it's impossible to predict bitcoin price more especially the worth of FINAL BTC which makes us think "what is that?". Does it really makes sense in the first place? This is the challenge here if people wants to pursue their goal of getting profits by doing bitcoin trading or just simply by holding, they must play with the price volatility in bitcoin. And same principle can also applied to other altcoins.

Well OP asked this question more than a couple of months ago and with the lots of responses here, I hope OP got some common sense build up in his precious mind at this time.
9559  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: When will banks start a war against bitcoin on: August 10, 2017, 04:48:31 PM
I know we are still at a start of cryptocurrencies, but bitcoin is growing with lightning speed right now and some banks already see it as a potential threat.
There has been a lot of accusations form banks, that bitcoin is perfect for money laundering and is used for supporting crime.
I think they can do a lot of harm to bitcoin market and they will eventually start with harsh campaign against it.
Do you thing it will happen and when?

Where are your sources that your statement can be considered as major concern. Don't bothered on it as in reality it's not a big case. Maybe there are concerns like that globally but only for a small percenrage. For me I don't think that banks would even think of bitcoin as potential threat. First of all, we are here in crypto forum and most posters here are having thinking like that. Because of that, the ideology will build up to those persosn who will read that then eventually they will now made a conclusion that banks really wants bitcoin to be destruct or they are giving mostly negative feedbacks on this currency.

If governments or banks really sees bitcoin as threat then since the beginning we won't be able to used bitcoin in our respective country.
9560  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Mayweather Vs McGregor: Info and prediction thread on: August 04, 2017, 09:30:08 PM
This is actually good news haha, I don't buy into the McGregor hype yet I don't feel like pulling the trigger on Mayweather just. With such photos surfacing into socials network it will just keep money pouring in for McGregor, I sure hope we I can get Floyd -400 or below its what Im targeting for what could be one of the biggest bet I've ever made (I want to pull the trigger but its a hefty price to pay too, so Im juggling with the idea haha)

You guys having price in mind on where you would pull the trigger on Floyd? Im not asking about McGregor backers because that ship as sailed a long time ago, so much value lost for those entering right now on McGregor IMO.

Dont put  all your money on one bet.
Everything can happen in this fight. Of course that Floyd is favourite to win, but who knows, maybe Conor will accidently pull a dream shot into his head and knock him out

That "accidental" win is worth to shot to put some bets if only odds for McGregor ML is decent. I saw @5 on Nitrogen (no idea on other sportsbooking sites).

I usually giving a shot to the opponent of the heavy favorites in an international event so hoping that while the match is approaching, there will be more increase to odds for McGregor. Smiley
