Do you think they are talking about bitcoin in your basic ECON class?
Well as of now bitcoin is not discuss in any economic classes because bitcoin is not mention or not heard before by other people that's why they don't talk about bitcoin in economic class. But if bitcoin is really famous maybe they could mention it in every economic classes because bitcoin is about money.

I do not find the any possibility for bitcoin to get into economic classes. But definitely the decentralization concepts will hit all universities and schools because this is how academic studies are working, they will not consider about the application but only the core concepts.

This way we can expect blockchin to be included in to information and technology classes. Because it is all about programming and maintaining database effectively.

But we can expect bitcoin to be an elective paper for university students in near future.

To be honest i really do not think that they speak about bitcoin in Economics class, at least not in our country. But because bitcoin has a bright future, i would not be surprised if they start speaking about bitcoin. I mean why would not they, bitcoin is future and people should talk about it.

Adoption it isnt on its fullest as of now which is expected most people wont really know on what is bitcoin and for now saying that it should be included on ECON class i would say its not possible as of these days because Education Department wont really know such thing for sure but as a bitcoin user we would really hope for this thing to happen though.

I think for now, no. In my country I think many don't know about it. In  the following years I am sure bitcoin will be the talk in econ class and also in IT classes, because it will start to become essential knowing about it.

Bitcoin's popularity continues to grow rapidly and has the highest market capitalization value in the world. It makes bitcoin can be used by all circles. Although bitcoin is already very popular but in my country the government has not been able to include curriculum on bitcoin learning in economy class.

It will be just an another or additional knowledge for the class if you will tackle about bitcoin in economic class. Some students may know about bitcoin and some doesn't really interested when it comes to economics. I admit that I don't take ECON class' seriously when I was younger but when I grow older I had to deal it alone.

I dont think so. Subjects in schools are basically based on their textbooks the subjects all about. I dont think bitcoin has been included in the text book of economic subject. Another thing, though it is not illegal but still it is still not legalized by the government.

Someday it might or will be observed that Bitcoin being taught in economics class. Also in various management subjects.
But for the moment it won't be happening as all know its not yet being accepted or legalized throughout the world.

No, bitcoin is an investment at the moment, i dont think that Economic proffesors would like to talk about this "cryptocurrencie" as this is something new. also i dont think that government and banks would like to know that teenagers are learning about this new era of coin that could replace the banks, so yes, absolutely not. It would be amazing but i dont think it will happen.

Yeah it might happen someday when bitcoin is accepted all over the world then the government will allow schools to be part of the subject, as of now if we stick in learning bitcoin through internet.

Disagree. Bitcoin is not purely an investment today compare back then. If still crytocurrencies are not being recognized as part of economic system based on your preferences then I see you have a big criteria for bitcoin to become part of it. I guess you need the whole world to recognized bitcoin before you can consider this currency as being used as a normal currency and not purely as an investment?

Also in a country where bitcoin can be freely used, I don't see governments will modified the current teachings for Economics subject and to implement schools not to teach anything about ctypto. It's out of their line because in the first place bitcoin was not banned on that country. About banks, it's impossible they will instruct schools not to teach cryptos. And where did you get your source that OVERALL banks thinks that they will be replaced by bitcoin?

I have noticed some academics mentioning it, but to them a mild gain seems astronomical. I often find economic prof's still thinking BTC is somewhat a tulip type instrument.

Every semester/term has its own schedule, and I don’t think bitcoin is involved in that. So, teachers/profs, shouldn’t leave the rightful things to teach something that’s off the hook. Unless during a random speech time, they can mention it to students, and just say a little thing about it.

Maybe, the awareness about cryptocurrency especially bitcoin will be raised in schools and universities. If the academe will appreciate and understand how it works and how it will help the students and the community, it will be possible that they will adapt it in their economics class.

When I was in college, my teacher told the students about Bitcoin, and I studied computer science. I thought the economics teacher would introduce the value of Bitcoin.

bitcoin as an electronic payment system is a form of e-commerce  it can be discussed or introduced in economic class a payment method but not for investment stuff, bitcoin as of  today is still in a form of investment and trading it is not vastly a form of payment because it is still not accepted worldwide.
