961  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Altcoins You Think will Grow on: June 15, 2018, 09:21:30 AM
NEO is one of the most interesting coins in top 10 11 and only one which gives you something for holding!
It is a big chinese project and China will try to make this coin the best on the market!
962  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethereum, Ripple or Litecoin? on: June 15, 2018, 09:14:09 AM
I do not understand why so many people like Litecoin? What is the main difference? Litecoin is faster because it is not used as Bitcoin.
963  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you still use MEW? on: June 15, 2018, 09:05:05 AM
With the recent hack, I assume a lot of people will switch to something else, what do you think?

I still recommend using a hardware wallet over the safety benefits though.
MyEtherWallet or Metamask is still the best way how to access to your Ethereum wallet. I do not recommend any android apps as a wallet!
964  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: what do you mean by 1 stake per week? on: June 12, 2018, 08:06:07 AM
I have seen on bounty that like example:
Facebook campaign
500-1999 friends-   1 Stake per week

Is that 1 coin per week?
That means that you earn one share and it depends on how many shares are earned by every people who partiicpated in your campaign.
For example, you earn 1 stake, there will be 1000stakes total and bounty pool will be 5000tokens, so 5000/1000 - 5 tokens per stake Wink
965  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: whcih ico to invest on: June 12, 2018, 08:01:04 AM
hello i have some money
i want to invest them to ico
which ico is good for now?
If you want to get some passive income, I recommend you profit-sharing exchange tokens, for example LocalCoinSwap which is currently in ICO phase, so you can get tokens for the lowest possible price!
966  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Best Platform!! I earn 1 btc on the FCoin.com by hodl FT!! on: June 12, 2018, 07:56:06 AM
I do not understand what Fcoin is. Could you kindly explain it? It is some exchange with profit sharing program? I can´t find more informations on the internet, it is really trusted and created by Huobi?
967  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How is the crypto industry going to look like in 5–10 years? on: June 10, 2018, 07:21:28 AM
As we had observed cryptocurrency sometimes fall and sometimes increase its price. How will crypto industy price for the next 5 to 10 years from now?
Today approximately 4 billion people use the internet. That's about 50% of the world population.
Approximately there are 30 million people who invested in cryptocurrencies. That's about 0.375% of the world population.
968  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: which ICO will have 10X-more profit in 2018 on: June 10, 2018, 07:08:54 AM
More hype - more profit. But if you flip. If you are long-term investor it's mean that nobody can say how many profits will. Try to see hype level. Today it's main
Your ICO looks promising. I really like exchange tokens because they really have a future. They are paying diviends to holders and everybody wants passive income.
That is why I have invested into LocalCoinSwap, Midex and Qurrex will be next  Cool.
969  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: TRON (TRX) is better than ETH? You must be kidding me! on: June 10, 2018, 07:06:30 AM
Founder of  Tron - Justin Sun posted a tweet that TRON is better than Ethereum based on seven factors as follows.

1.10000TPS vs. 25TPS
2.Zero fee vs. high fee
3.consistent Coinburn vs. no coinburn
4.Java vs. Solidity
5.Strong extensibility vs. no ex.
6.1 billion USD developers reward vs. no plan
7. 100 million users vs. small number

He also said that the Tron (TRX) was carefully prepared in the Mainnet phase and that could be the key factor to winning over Ethereum.

And my reaction: ‘NONSENSE!!!!!”

If Tron ever wants to replace Ethereum, two basic use cases are required:  currency and platform.

About the platform, Ethereum is way at the top and it would take years for TRON to reach its position now, not to mentions Ethereum platform is expanding.  About the currency, Ethereum ranked No. 2 and is the only competitor of the “King” – Bitcoin.

And about TRX – a platform without support from developers, how can it replace ETH? Even EOS or NEO cannot do so because they are still just Tokens, not Currencies.

Remember that ETH is the fundamental coin with practical applications and a huge support community.
Words are easy to say and not every word is true.
Don't be fooled and don’t let those nonsense take a lead of your actions.

EOS and NEO are currencies on their own blockchain, EOS was a ERC-20 token, NEO wasnt.
I don´t know, I was very skeptical about EOS, but now it looks really great  Smiley.
970  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Should I invest in an ICO? on: June 09, 2018, 01:10:32 PM
You can invest in LocalCoinSwap - it is another crypto-exchange which distributes all of their profits between token holders. Ends next week, raised about 12 million USD, ICOBench 4.4.
I love exchange tokens because they provide passive income!
971  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: which ICO will have 10X-more profit in 2018 on: June 09, 2018, 01:03:50 PM
I would go for two:

Traxia - First Cardano project, backed by giant like Cardano.
Impressio - New type of investment and guaranteed ROI

Those who know how to evaluate projects at early stages - will do so.
Impressio looks fishy, how can they guarantee such a RO when they still do not have a proper product? I would be very careful with the bgger investment.

972  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ripple or other altcoins? on: June 09, 2018, 12:51:28 PM
Some people say that ripple would reach the moos soon. So I invested $5000 in it. To my dismay, it is decreasing in prices, incurring me a heavy loss. What do you think guys, will it increase in prices? or should I sell all ripple coins I have and go for another?
You have a lot of money, but you can´t manage it. Investing in cryptocurrencies is for a long time, nobody gets rich over night.
There is only one way what you can do now - HODL. Soon you will see a big profit.

973  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I have $500 to invest today on: June 08, 2018, 12:44:50 PM
Who knows? Somebody says that Bitcoin could reach 4000-5000usd soon. Someone (especially cryptoexpert Mcafee  Grin) says that we will go up. Choose then..
974  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is bounty hunters one of the cause of price dip of ICO? on: June 08, 2018, 12:35:26 PM
I have witnessed almost 5 consecutive ICOs that is a hyped ICOs and also sponsored a bounty campaign with big rewards goes way below ICO price. The ICO have a lot of potentials to have a high price. But when the time comes when the ICO concluded and when the time comes when it hit on the first exchange the price really dips hard. Is bounty hunters one of the cause of the price dip?
I dont think so, bounty hunters together earn only few % of all tokens and many of them are holding this coin. The main reason is that team is working on the product and there are no news just after end of ICO sale...

Send 0.0553389 for 50$, received 50.40$. Is this a bug or because BTC rate changed?

977  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Swedish ASIC miner company kncminer.com on: May 29, 2014, 06:25:04 AM
BTW, one of the pictures is an absolute horror show with endless rows of Jupiter modules hashing.

As PsychoticBoy said, it's disgusting. It really is.

Not more than 5%? This datorhall is probably big enough to be 100%+ of what they shipped to customers.

All our earnings are disappearing because we are competing against this (I copied it to imgur so I could embed it):

Thanks knc - assholes Angry

Here - blast from the past - lest people forget what kind of MFs they are

Did KNC have anything to say about this?
I hadn't seen this pic, it's stunning.
978  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Swedish ASIC miner company kncminer.com on: May 14, 2014, 11:35:17 PM
In that news email they say on schedule etc etc Q1/Q2 . No wonder they aren't bothered about timing so much, they obviously developed a time machine because Q1 is well gone now.

The Jups etc. were KNC partnered with ORSOC, they made big play on this expertise. KNC were simply a marketing company with ORSOC doing the real work, and neither with experience of the nuts and bolts of manufacturing and what comes after like packing ( a skill they still seem not to have mastered). As we know, the tech side went great, the marketing went great...what each was good at. The rest, not good at all really.

So the current situation is KNC marketing again using every trick in the book to seperate customers and their cash. The same people looking after customers...no-one much. But why, after they did so well 1st time aren't ORSOC involved this time? The fact that they aren't seems important to me. At the very least it means that anything prior to this product may as well be another company and past engineering and design work is not to be used for predicting what is happening now because different people are involved as well as different product specs.

I hope anyone who saw the light had their cash back, those who still sing the song of fanboi deserve what they get Smiley
979  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / GPUs and FPGAs replace ASICs was Re: Swedish ASIC miner company kncminer.com on: April 17, 2014, 03:52:25 PM
Yes, my English is not the best and your math competence zero. Let me write this slowly because I know that you cannot read fast.
Calculating a hash takes <1s, due to a special condition it is a bit more complicated with Bitcoins. They way they do it today is Brute Force. ASICs are perfect for this.
Expensive in developing, very cheap in producing. But you cannot do anything else with them. Once they do not use Brute Force anymore, they are dead and GPUs are much faster,
because general purpose. Got it ?

Conan

even 10 years down the line, your gpu is not going to hash as much as an usb powered ASIC.

bitcoin ASICs are useless for anything other than hashing, but GPUs are now useless with bitcoin mining. world will never ever mine with GPUs again..

Yes, there was also a time when people believed the world is flat. World will use GPUs again, because they are much faster. Maybe you should leave the current
orthodoxy about the world is flat. And in 10 years down the line, ASICs for hashing are dead, I would say already after summer, but this is just a rough estimation.

Conan

ok. Since you are obviously getting a word wrong, you can't mean faster we know that...no GPU can hash as fast an ASIC when mining bitcoins. GPUs can do other things, like mining other coins, playing games, and being sold on Ebay for those purposes. Do you mean better and not faster?

Let's test your confident but fucked up statement. Post the GPU that can beat a KNC mercury. One board.
We'll all check and then we'll know what to say when we call the doctor to collect you. Smiley
980  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Swedish ASIC miner company kncminer.com on: April 17, 2014, 02:22:24 AM
Just got the news update in my inbox. I see they're doing upgrade modules finally. It specifies November batch. Does this mean they won't work in October batch systems?

I believe my Mercury is an October, but I'm not sure. Any easy way to tell? It's been on a shelf mining non stop since November.

Thanks guys.
Mercury was only offered initially, and quickly discontinued leaving just Saturn and Jupiter.  So I believe October Mercurys are the only kind.  November Jupiters came next.  There wasn't a November Mercury (was there a November Saturn?  I don't remember it.).

That's true, but the boards could be either. Dead giveaway if they did have Oct boards though. That would definitely be from a rig that's been mining for them since the start.

They are insulting our intelligence with this stuff. We paid their upfront costs, they got their farm rigs at cost price and now they even want us to give them that money back by buying their old boards. Amazing deal for them if they get away with it. They get profits from sales with no risk, profits from mining with no hardware costs at all..so apart from power it's all profit. Actually...thinking how much hosting cost, that probably paid the power bills too. Damn.
