People say step by step guide I wrote worked on mac too. So maybe you can try again. Just make sure back up your wallet.dat
Do you have a direct link to the step by step guide for mac with screenshots? I want to make sure I'm putting the right files in the right folders.
All I've seen so far were instructions for PC/Windows

Thank you in advanced!
For mac it is the exact same step by step. The only difference is where and how to find the folder you can see in the Windows tutorial. To do so, open finder and press: cmd shift and G at the same time (the three keys together). It will open what is called the "library" on mac. from there you should your way through user, application, then find the useful folder called "application support". In this folder you'll find a folder called Teslacoin-Qt, inside this folder are all the same files as in windows.

Then it's easy as you just need to set your wallet.dat aside and just follow the instructions, it's drag and drop level.

I hope it helps!

Man, that NXS prediction!

Im new here so I just read your whole thread, and had compared price of NXS now and i am just amazed at your prediction. Keep up the good work! I'll be subscribing and watching out for you speculations in the future.

Agreed. I followed his advice after discovering the thread and made a little profit, kinda regret I didn't go big on that one, I had the funds to make a huge chunk of change... Same thing for the other coins if you pay attention, he was right on pretty much 100% of them! That's a decent ratio.

Looking forward to the 6th coin, this time I'll not be shy with the investment hahaha!

Anyone know how to get the Mac wallet to work? I downloaded it, encrypted it, but it still says in red "out of sync" - I sent some TES from cryptopia to this wallet and it says the transaction went through, but does not appear on the Teslacoin explorer or in my desktop wallet. Not sure what I'm missing here.

Hey there, TES mac wallet works perfectly, I use it and it worked without having to do any tweak . Just follow the instructions that Tara just gave you and it will work! No matter what coin you use, it's highly recommended to wait that wallet is synced to make any transaction. Since your wallet is not synced, it's totally normal that you don't see recent transactions, but don't worry they will appear as soon as you are up to date and fully synced. If not come back here and let us know we'll help you.

Have a good day Smiley

How can I start staking? Haven't done that before.

Once your wallet is synced, click on the "unlock wallet" button and input your passphrase. Once unlocked your wallet will start staking automatically and you'll see your balance transfered to the "staking" section. Then, the coins generated need to mature, basically to be confirmed.

Did that, there is no visual hint that anything changed. How long before any balance moves to Stake:... section? And then how long before it matures?

Also is there a command I can run, to verify it is actively staking?

Are you still having trouble? I'm not a technician by any mean, the only thing I can tell you is that when I unlock my wallet to stake, it starts right away, in a matter of seconds.

It has been this way since my very first version of the wallet, and I don't know any command that could force it.

Hope someone sees your message and help you out!

Had another decent morning staking. I hadn't staked in three days then mined a few back to back. I love that my TES is finally staking.
Anyone else staking out there, very curious to see how often I should be seeing rewards. I know the return is +/- 12%

Once they're are confirmed they appear in your balance and the coins they were generated from will go back in your "available balance" section.

It's very simple there is nothing special to do really... Just make sure your wallet is fully synced beforehand, and you're good to go!

Personally I stake my wallet only once every other month or so, depending on what's going on (when I feel like the coin is getting traded more than usual I stake to be "ready" for the action).

I know we're supposed to be staking more often since it apparently helps (I don't understand why) but I like to receive coins by tens of thousands Smiley

Normally rewards are supposed to be 1% per month, but it also is connected to how long the coins have been in your wallet (you can't buy 1million coin and hope to stake 12% the next day, I think there is a minimum time, not sure though).

New roadmap to be disclosured in the next days for a long time , no slack no community ,want listed on bittrex or polo, never

Like I said, you are always welcome here, just try not to be too clever, because TES was on Bittrex until just recently. If you want to know, TES team has the backing from Bittrex and they are interested in bringing TES back to Bittrex when the time is right and TES remedies it's issues that we should not even talk about, but it happens to the best in the crypto family too, although for different reasons, so nothing to be ashamed of. TES is on track to become a fully usable coin with good backing.

I totally agree with this. If anything TES is getting stronger in my opinion, I see accumulation going on, price is going up, I feel like the new roadmap announcement is going to set new highs. The coin is getting more and more attention and I'm super glad we've got our first "FUD troll" in a while, that's a good sign, it means people are actually looking into the coin, and want to get in for cheaper.

Looking forward to next news Smiley

What do I need to do in order to start staking with my TES wallet?

always run the latest wallet release .
when it is up to date and in sync , encrypt wallet and unlock it for staking.

Still showing as "no suitable inputs were found,"  but actually began minting/staking TES last night for the first time. Hopefully it stays consistent.

Can you share what the payout is? I am wondering whether i should do the same. Its always good to have it running in the wallet.

Got around 300 between the 3 transactions, but nothing before or after...

Awesome! thanks for letting me know. how much are you staking to get that reward. I have about 10K TES. What is the PoS rate?

Hey there! Good to see that your wallet is staking again! TES gets a POS reward of 12% per year, which is pretty awesome Smiley

Enjoy your "free" coins and keep them tight, you'll be happy when the value goes up Wink

When TESLA is going to add on polo or bittrex?
not sure if we will poloniex but it would be nice to be back on BITTREX , we were there until fairly recently, and despite an increase in trading and user base, BITTREX reason was a' lack of user interest' , TESLACOIN would appreciate if you asked this question to the admin of BITTREX on their support address . support@bittrex.com .
We are releasing a new wallet soon which will be a mandatory for all users and we hope to spread back to the main trading sites.

I still can't believe they kicked us out. You're right, they did that when interest for the coin was at its highest... Trade volume was multiple BTC per day, the coin was totally "living". That's weird.

Anyway, bon't know what to do to be on Poloniex, maybe it would be worth trying!

Please be patience, we're working on the new wallet and on the new roadmap

we're about to give you good news very soon  Smiley

Trust me I'm very patient I started working on the Tesla QT wallet in Chiang Mai and 1600KM south I got it to work 2 months later! I'm a very patient Tesla Fan! I was just giving feedback (as a patient fan) what the problem is for us non technical people.

If the great Serb was still alive he would create a wallet in his head ready to go and it would be amazing. I bet it would even give free money to everyone!

Are you still there? I'm going there in a couple of month actually!

I confirm that following Tara's guide it works. I did exactly what the step by step says and now my wallet is synced, tons of connexions and I could transfer coins without any problem.

I'm on mac btw.

Go TES!

On the stock exchange yobit coin TES, this is it?

Yobit is not a valid marketplace for TES. Forget about it. They're on the wrong fork and apparently refused to fix the issue. Prices there are 10x what the real price is on other exchanges. It is written on the OP: Do not trade with Yobit. Use Cryptopia or Nova exchange.

Have a good one!

So basically everyone on Yobit has lost their Tesla Coin?

No, it's just that no one can send TES there. If you have some already on the exchange, you can sell them for a very high price lol Smiley

So you can sell them for a high price but the buyer is $@#$@#% or not that 's what I'm asking not if I can stick it to the buyer, do you understand what i"m aksing I'm not asking if I can take advantage of someone?

I understand what you're talking about. But I just think that this marketplace (which is know to be scammy) is looking very shady regarding TES and lots of other coins. I don't think you'd rip anyone off by selling them to orders that are more than 10 times the market price. It just looks like it's all not serious and I don't know for sure what's going on there but I'm just saying I wouldn't trade over there (as recommended by the OP).

Going to sleep now, bye!

Seems like a nice project. Way underpriced imo. Only thing is that my wallet won't sync, any solutions? I'm using Mac. This project just needs more marketing and the price will go up.

Pretty true! TES should be around 1500/2k sat AT LEAST. It's getting some attention on topia. Don't sell out or you'll regret it after. We'll see 500+ sat price in the next days if what I think is happening really happens.

Exciting Smiley

I'm worried about this wallet change/fork or whatever you call it. Right now I moved everything to the windows wallet but when you make the update will I loose my coins? I'm not clear on all that how it works?

Also why do you think it will be 500SAT+ what makes you say that do you know something?

Because it's a coin I have been following since day 1. I have mined it at the very early stages. I have mined/sold/rebought millions of TES in the last 3 years. 500 sat is going to be reached, I am as sure as one can be.

The problem now is that the wallet is being weird. I can't get it to sync the last 12 hours, and I can't send coins. I'm kinda freaking out because now is the worst time to have wallet issues...

Tesla reaches 1 million today.

This is bullshit. It must be based on yobit fake price. TES= 200 sat today.

Real or fake market cap will gather lots of interest in Teslacoin. Which is good marketing.

Good marketing is something that brings real interest and real sustainable volume. Not a 5 minutes price surge (that is great if you trade don't get me wrong)

Is this really energy relayed as we can see from the topic of the TES? Nowadays, I'm looking for a good investment but I couldn't make sure about TES.

Right now I highly recommend holders to hold. If you're not "in" yet, It all depends what you call an investment. You could scratch a few bucks by playing the swings in cryptopia, or mid term to see a potential uptrend, but if you mean large mid-long term investment, I'd wait for things to get a little clearer with the official team (roadmap, projects, backend etc...)

On another note I would like to share that I think we'll be seeing some action very soon trade-wise. I'm constently monitoring TES'price and some people are accumulating. Wouldn't be surprised to see large upward moves very soon. Don't forget that TES should be worth around 10x what it is now. The day devs manage to finish polishing things up (wallets working perfectly on all OS) we'll see some crazy things happening.

I feel bad I don't know shit about coding and wallets etc... I would be working on this night and day to make this coin back where it belongs, collecting the rewards than go with it.

I think it's great to get the wallets working for Mac, linux etc.. But if you want to make this a  one Euro coin you need something special, something that few coins only have not just one out of 1000 BTC QT clones. And I'm not insulting I'm just giving everyone here in the comunity a food for thought you need 1 thing to make it super stand out, what can that be?

If you can pull that off this coin with a fantastic name (which is why I invested years ago) could explode but without it it will just be a clone and mayb it will be 5 cents or 7 cent but it won't be top 20 coins.

Thats all I got not that I got the cons in the wallet working I'll be watching. I do marketing by the way so if anyone wants to talk marketing for Tesla let me know.

Good luck.

I'll be interested to discuss marketing things with you to help out once things in the backend run smoothly.

Since you're into marketing you know how much a name can sell. Then, TES is a very fast coin (at least when things were running smoothly), ONE OF THE FIRST POS coin, and probably the first to give a generous 12% yearly stake reward.

When you see that mintcoin is still trading (a long dead exchange's coin) is still trading and rose up to 14 sat, years after the exchange closed...

There is a lot of hope, just need to keep things active.

Fuck, talking about it makes me want to get myself into it again like crazy hahahaha
