That sounds great!  I was wondering how exactly are you running the bot. Is at like an "agent" that you start and it starts crawling the forum user's latest posts for references of the list of watched user names? Also, I assume you're doing everything headless, right? Yes and yes. I'm actually testing now in silent mode (users registered are not getting any nothifications but they do show up in the log) the idea you are proposing, i need to improve a bit the code to make sure everything run as fast as possible, but it seems to be working quite fine.

This is an interesting feature @Piggy It's cool to see the notifications somewhere to be able to follow more conversations here. Any chance this could be extended to also check for posts where you were quoted? Request: Can you add a full-spy-option? I'd like to get a notification whenever someone types "LoyceV" (with or without "@) or quotes me.
The quote notification should only happen if someone who quotes me directly, not if someone quotes a quote in which I was quoted already.
i think it's doable or at least worth a try, it may be more natural to name somebody even without the @. I'll implement something and run it in the next days. Shall we expect to have other options like reporting of keywords /can be just for exclusive users and used mainly for reporting spam, or a new account only for this purpose/?

Riguardo allo scrivere uno smart contract per mandare in crash la rete Ethereum, non è possibile, quando scrivi uno smart paghi gas in base alla memoria che questo utilizza. Quando chiami un metodo questo viene prima fatto girare nella Evm dai minatori ed in base al numero di operazioni necessarie per completare la transazione viene assegnato richiesto un costo da coprire.
E se per esempio hai un metodo nel tuo smart contract che non termina, pensa ad un loop dove la condizione necessaria per uscirne non avviene mai. La transazione viene rifiutata, in quanto prima di essere eseguita sula chain viene simulata, sempre per determinarne il costo.
Aggiungo che se fosse stato possibile mandare in crash la rete Ethereum con uno smart contract qualcuno lo avrebbe già fatto, ma visto che paghi le risorse che utilizzi non è conveniente o fattibile.
Quello che viene descritto nell'articolo, non e' forse un metodo indiretto per fare questa cosa? cie' creare con uno smart-contract una sub-coin che "drena" gas fino a portare il valore di ethereum a zero? e ribadisco, non dovete controbattere a me, ma a Buterin, che ammette la possibilita' di fare questa cosa! Però b. sta anche pensando a come risolvere il problema. A parte qualche sua uscita poca felice, credo sia una delle persone più qualificate nel settore. Poi non vedo proiezioni su quando/come possa avvenire lo scenario descritto ammesso che non saranno effettuate modifiche, tra 1, 10, 100, 1000 anni? Quante transazioni saranno necessarie per portare al tracollo? |

If theymos can't or don't want to recruit new moderator, then theymos should do something else such as disabling signature on boards with lots of spammer to punish spammer.
This would be the ideal solution, if you want genuine and constructive discussion to start. Since from what theymos was saying, bounty cannot be cut out completely, as they necessary for the sustainment of the forum, at least they could be restricted to certain boards. |

Feedback from community is the most important factor if it's not strictly business oriented product, this business needs to listen both fronts as it has also a big chunk of it directed towards businesses and merchants.
At this stage they need to get most of the features completed, there is still a lot of work to do given what they are trying to achieve. When they are further enough with the development I'm sure they will start to advertise their solutions to relevant customers. I don't think they really need any input from us at the moment as they seems to know what they are doing, without relaying on useless hype. |

The Sirius project team needs to strengthen marketing, and investors should be a little more confident, waiting for the encrypted money market to recover as a whole.
They are not interested in marketing, slogans and prices for trade, they build security, stronger, the speed of transactions is very important, they do not need prices. And where to hurry, the ecosystem is still a baby, Sirius is a child, I think it will be tuned for a long time, but a powerful engine is modeled ..... Next article on the RWPoS model. We wait. Exactly, i think it quite impressive what they are trying to achieve, if they manage to have a transaction speed of about 2000 tps plus an easy way to create smart contracts, they would have a chance to be actually used in real world applications |

This is a good start and give a good insight on what they are actually doing, probably a hint that this project in not made up of thin air but could really become something useful on the long run. Looking forward to hear what is coming next |

I can add some settings for the way you want to receive your notification, however pm is most probably not going to happen as it's unlikely the account will get a free pass and the limits at the moment are quite strict. The other option, beside what i'm using now, is just to make a post in your notification thread and then edit that post adding notifications as they come, this doesn't involve any cool down, so could be a viable compromise for instantaneous notifications. I rather avoid in this case to publicly advertise how is done. Sure thing is, since the bot is reading all the messages being posted, it will be able to run checks on them for any kind of purpose and spot early on unpleasant situations. |
