A client which sympathizes with our situation on this thread made some high def photos of his 1.2Th, we thank for his help.

I'm looking at this picture and it doesn't quite add up... I don't see a cat 5 hook up in the back yet it shows it is powered on and hashing when the cat 5 in the front isn't hooked up.
As i said when i see fireman arround at the pics that would be a good sign that they have tried at least Grin
AMT PLEASE EXPLAIN WHERETHE HELL WEREALL THE MINERS SHIPED A MOUNTH AGO? WAS ANYTHING SHIPPED AT ALL?
DOES THIS CRAP WORKS AT ALL?
WILL YOUR CUSTOMERS EVER GET SOMETHING?
WHO WILL COVER THEIR LOSS?
WHY ARE YOU NOT HONORING REFUND REQUESTS?
HOW LONG DO YOU THINK YOU CAN PLAY THIS GAME?
AND FINALY ASK YOUR BRIGHT ENGEENERS TO DESIGN UNBREAKABLE CADGE FOR YOU> I THINK YOU GONNA NEED ONE SOON. SO BETTER TO GET USED TO IT IN ADVANCE!
It is a shame !!!!!

Very good. Seriously. I applaud this new approach.

Still wondering where our refund is. We don't want your miner anymore. We want a refund.

Other than that, keep this up. People are cooling down, see? Because information.
So what?
Even if people are cooled down they have lost their money already. This is another amt trick to buy more time.
Just ask for refund.
Leave their precious crap with them to mine  Grin
964  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Official Thread: AMT on: March 29, 2014, 06:49:38 AM
Let me sum this all up in two words "hot mess"
Ask for yor money guys. Refuse to take their not working crap!!!!
965  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Official Thread: AMT on: March 28, 2014, 07:49:01 PM
This is getting ridiculous  guys. I am planning to start my own preorder scam Grin
Now ask for your money while you still can.
Do yo know how much btc makes the precious amt miner today?
Do you know how much it will be making when you got it if that happens at all?
Basically you have lost everything already. The only thing you have not lost is your dignity. So fuck the miners and look for refund.
966  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Official Thread: AMT on: March 27, 2014, 07:05:15 PM
I have been emailing sales@advancedminers.com every day, I also call and no one responds to me. I am in the 950's range.

Until I get my hands on one I won't know for sure any of the details. At this point just by looking at the case its easy to see where the potential flaws could be. That said, if it works it works. And like any good techie worth anything they will want to figure out how to squeeze out every bit of performance out of it.

My first thoughts would be a single fan at the top is not enough to vent the excessive heat. That said the side vent can bring in cool air providing some suction in a more passive fashion. The front fans in the case also provide some more cooling but are blocked by the hard drive mounts in the case so it diffuses airflow and creates less efficient ways.

I cant get a close look at the PSU. So I have no idea what it is or is capable of. If its a 1200 watt PSU then its more than capable of doing what it needs to do and hitting the 1.2Ths mark.
Without a physical unit in hand I wont know anything about the hashing performance.

Hopefully some more people get some of these and post up pics/vids and whatnot so we can start seeing how well they do.
1.2 Mark with 5 modules + 1200 watt PSU is MADNESSSSSSSS and HIGH TOP AMT ENGINEERING COOLING
Make sure that the fireman is around Grin Grin Grin Grin
Ask for your money back Wink
i am giving this peace of crap 10-15 minutes live MAX before blast

Fine qualify your statement as to why you think that would be the case? There are technical people amongst us so we can validate/invalidate those statements. Right now its just madness and get a fireman there.

What are the electrical aspects that would make this wrong to run? Now if its running at 1.2THs turbo mode I think then the 1.2THs nominal mode is a misleading statement. Turbo is meant to be overclocked.
But right now losia you gotta qualify what you just said with a bit more than get a fireman. We know the devices are real enough. The quality is still in question but we need to understand your thinking as to why you think they will burst into flames. Go into as much technical detail as possible so there is no room for misunderstanding.

So then - lets start with the cage.
START WITH REFUNDS IMMEDIATELY!!!!!!!!!!
TELL YOUR CUSTOMERS HOW IT WORKS!!!!!
STOP LYING!!!

Dude,

I am qualifying this since beginning. You can search my posts if you want.
Let me leave other folks like ISAWIM to say something valuable
Ask for your money. I will say it again ask for your money!
Read bitmine posts HW errors, power draw and regulators design and so on and so on
This is a total crap
In best case scenario you will be able to get 0.9T from it even less. I am not mentioning the fact that cooling DOES NOT EXIST at all Grin But this is another story...
PERIOD

973  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Official Thread: AMT on: March 27, 2014, 02:49:56 PM

Alright where do we start...  Airflow.. Boards...Backplane.. Cage..  I know this write up is going to take a few hours so lets go ahead and get started.
Start with refunds immediately!!!!! or ship two miners instead of one Grin

And make sure they can survive for more than 10 minutes hashhing Grin Grin Grin Grin
974  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Official Thread: AMT on: March 26, 2014, 07:02:37 PM
looking back at mblackouts earlier posts he said his order was originally due 1rst week in Jan. That would put him in the upper 600's.
With AMT having shipped out so many miners it is starting to look like they are purposely skipping numbers on the unofficial list as Mblackout has never given out his number that I can find.

Probably not but it makes you think, who are they shipping all these miners to?
If they exist they ship them to their mining facility
They are a bunch of liars!!!

975  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Official Thread: AMT on: March 26, 2014, 06:51:49 PM
i had to spam them with the same email to allll of their email listed on the forum then finally got this

Sorry for getting back to you. Your order will be ready at the end of next week for pickup.

All the best

Jim.

i hate screaming for attention but this is just not the way to do business......

500+ emails a day 100+ phone calls a day - everyone saying the same thing. Whats more important, good customer service comforting you to wait (BFL nowadays) or miners in peoples hands while we sacrifice some customer service. Think about it.
In peopleSSSSS hands that made my day. Making a grammar mistakes is not making peoplesSSSS more
PEOPLESSSS where are you? Grin with hands full of miners Grin

Hey joe where are you ?
I am missing you dude Grin
Listen to wise Ventura words guys Grin

Con,

I am looking at stale_work() code. I am wandering if work gets stale in solo and gbt also?

if (pool->gbt_workid)
      work->job_id = strdup(pool->gbt_workid);
Shall job_id be checked inside stale_work code. For stratum it is considered as stale if there is no share but for gbt and solo?
Thanks
978  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Official Thread: AMT on: March 25, 2014, 05:43:52 PM
They have spent their valuable time to reply to me also Grin
AMT you are doing much better than BFL keep good job going guys Grin
Just make absolutely sure before you ship something it is useless then go ahead and ship to make your customers happy Grin Grin
979  Bitcoin / Mining software (miners) / Re: CGMINER ASIC miner monitoring RPC linux/win/osx/mips/arm/r-pi 4.2.1 on: March 25, 2014, 03:55:36 PM
PS:

Guy's
What about
   cg_wlock(&control_lock);
   .....local_work++;
   .....total_work++;
   cg_wunlock(&control_lock);
I think there is a need to lock them everywhere or ?

Thanks
Mostly harmless, but probably wouldn't hurt to protect them with the write lock for when mining at multiple different types of pools at once (eg GBT + stratum), yes, thanks.
Super,
If you can add local_work++ inside total_work_inc will be great  Wink
980  Bitcoin / Mining software (miners) / Re: CGMINER ASIC miner monitoring RPC linux/win/osx/mips/arm/r-pi 4.2.1 on: March 24, 2014, 04:04:07 PM
...
I have played with #define LOCK_TRACKING 1 - GREAT WORK THANK YOU!
...
You're welcome Smiley

Yes Con designed all of the cglock code and wrote almost all of it.
I've had a few deadlocks I've coded in the past, so I wrote the lock tracking to be able to find them easily when I cause them.
Nice hack for lockstats to make them usable or at least for me api.c

#if LOCK_TRACKING

FILE * pFile;

#define LOCK_FMT_FFL " - called from %s %s():%d"

#define LOCKMSG(fmt, ...)   fprintf(pFile, "APILOCK: " fmt "\n", ##__VA_ARGS__)
#define LOCKMSGMORE(fmt, ...)   fprintf(pFile, "          " fmt "\n", ##__VA_ARGS__)
#define LOCKMSGFFL(fmt, ...) fprintf(pFile, "APILOCK: " fmt LOCK_FMT_FFL "\n", ##__VA_ARGS__, file, func, linenum)
#define LOCKMSGFLUSH() fflush(pFile)

then

void show_locks()
{
   pFile = fopen ("/tmp/cglocks","w");
..........

   fclose (pFile);

}

So no need to stare over console and catch the lines moving Wink

PS:

   cg_wlock(&control_lock);
   .....local_work++;
   .....total_work++;
   cg_wunlock(&control_lock);
