961  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What happens if we die? on: July 30, 2017, 01:54:04 PM
Nope, this is no existential question (although...). Everybody's talking about "When will Bitcoin die", but what if you die, and your family don't find your key, or don't understand it, or think it's only a useless sheet of paper with some code on it, or simply throw it away... Does this mean the currency's gone forever?

I find the possibility of this event rather realistic (yup I don't believe in eternal life), so that means that someday there might be 21M BTC but only 18M (and counting down...) is left in the market?

I'm too young to think about this, however, if I really die for one of your ears, all my bitcoins will be lost, no one can find it, because my relatives do not know. About bitcoin, everything is secret.
In that case, since I have a brother who's knowlegable about bitcoin,  I let him know first about my private access and if ever that I will die, he knows already what to do. Since that is my way of supporting my parents, I know he will grant whatever is left in my bitcoin and for the purpose of giving it to my parents. Of course he needs to convert it into our local currency. Then in that case it would still be meaningful whenever I'm gone for good. This question is really serious though. Yes, it's too young to think about this matter but the really still prevail. We can't predict death and that's our worst enemy.
962  Other / Off-topic / Re: What is more profitable: a gambling site or a dating site? on: July 29, 2017, 05:11:31 PM
Today a question came to my mind that which site will be more profitable a gambling site or a dating site? Actually I want to find out that in which place people are more interested and where people mostly want to go to get fun.
for gambling site is more profitable than dating site because in gambilng site you can earn money, but in dating site you may lost money.
Practicality speaking, gambling is more profitable than dating site but if we base it on gender preferences, most women would choose dating site as profitable over gambling. We all know men have a dominant rate in gambling because they find it fun and interesting similar thing that goes with dating site for women. Women are naturally seeking for love and affection regardless of men's status. Women have this soft hearted character that will totally change their humanity and the ability to uphold something to men. It's like alternate hypotheses for both men and women if they dare to go for it or which of these two will give them satisfaction.
963  Economy / Speculation / Re: Should I cash out my BTC now? on: July 29, 2017, 04:27:24 PM
If you've made this this far cashing out now is leaving $ on the table. Although we don't know what the future value of BCC will be its at least worth it to get them since its free and dump after the fork completes.
Well it all depends. If your decision serves right to cash out now anf if you have enough btc already then there's no problem for you. I guess if a bitcoiner has saved a lot of coins then it's guaranteed that he will think of another idea out of bitcoin. Like putting up business or investing a lot area or property for future and favorable use. But I guess those are already lucky for their life and contented can avail these opportunities. It's really up to the person's decision.
964  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is betting a good choice for a newbie? on: July 28, 2017, 02:40:09 PM
I am earning and collecting bitcoin to bet on sports in future. Will it be a good choice to invest in it betting or other things.Where should i invest my bitcoin to have a long term profit?

If you only have a small amount of bitcoin then no, betting is not a good idea. Gamble with fiat if you only have a small stash of bitcoin's. Bitcoin is too precious to waste gambling if you don't have a lot. Hold onto your bitcoin, it will be worth more & more as time goes on.

Small or big amount of bitcoin, it is not good for a newbie to just try and gamble. If you want to try and gamble then read up some experiences here on the forum or elsewhere. Know what you should avoid. I for one was a newbie to gambling once, and oh boy, if I knew what I knew today. I would not have done what I did in the past.

I agree if one does not have any past experience in gambling then a newbie in bitcoin themselves should not start gambling just to earn bitcoin. Only those who have suffered the addiction of gambling can relate to the dangers it has on normal lives and how it can destroy someones life if they are not careful. They would repent later on so its better not to.

I also believe that gambling must not be easily taken by a newbies, it is not natural to take chances people love new experiences that could give them some unexpected results. most people gambles with the expectations that they'll be able to take the price or simply to win but it is inevitable that life will surely give you downfalls likewise in gambling.

i believe gambling is an entertainment where money may be lost. is a serious addiction and it can damage the person,  for a newbie, especially if he  has not experience on that matter. it may lead to  addiction and can make an impact on their lives, he will surely try to win and take chances one after the other which could lead to a certain loss.

With or without experience if the newbie has control on his emotions then he can control his feelings in gambling. But if he is greedy person can't control tension means for him this gambling is not good. Stay away from this gambling. They have a chance to addict to gambling very soon.
Exactly! There's no good in something if you yourself knows what will be the effect in betting. I guess it's not a good choice for a newbie because he's still a starter and he will face sudden risks maybe. Everyone knows that betting somehow leads to a bad outcome but for once if it's really entertaining on their part that's enough. Since betting has a power to change someone financially and temporarily, but when worse comes to worse, it's difficult to regain money and effort.
965  Economy / Economics / Re: If you have a lot of bitcoin, should you spend it or save it? on: July 28, 2017, 11:20:56 AM
Let's say I have 2.1 BTC And I don't spend it. Will it go up a few cents if I save it? Cause in my wallet I have up to about 50 cents worth of bitcoin. I started up with 13 cents 7 months ago. Now all of sudden I have bitcoins worth 50 cents. What do you call this? I only made that one 13 cent deposit. Nothing else!

There is no problem if you want to spend it or save it, the decision is yours. Two things  can happen, If you save it for a long time, maybe the time comes that its price rises so high or maybe it will gone soon. I probably want to happen the first choice. But to be safe devide it into two, in cryptocurrency and to real cash.

I would do the same thing, to convert my bitcoin into cash and some to keep in my wallet.  We do not know what will happen as time goes by with bitcoins.  It can continue to goes up or it will be gone.  I also want to enjoy the hard work I put into earning bitcoins that is why I will spend some of it.  Just to feel inspired to go on and earn more bitcoins.  I will give some to my family for them to believe that bitcoin is a real thing. Because they do not believe on it right now even if they see me earning through it.
I will also do that but I guess the better way for me is doing it half and half. Half of my bitcoin is good for spending and the other half would be for my savings. I really like saving bitcoin because I can see how it grows though there are declining points. I still have to be ready with that because I know it will happen however, if lucky enough, I can get higher profit provided that if it increases, then I will sI will also do that but I guess the better way for me is doing it half and half. Half of my bitcoin is good for spending and the other half would be for my savings. I really like saving bitcoin because I can see how it grows though there are declining points. I still have to be ready with that because I know it will happen however, if lucky enough, I can get higher profit provided that if it increases, then I will surely get what I want of its value. Spending is good if I want something but saving is the best for future goals.urely get I want of its value. Spending is good if I want something but saving is the best for future goals.
966  Other / Off-topic / Re: Job Vs Bitcoin on: July 28, 2017, 10:43:33 AM
Hi, I was wondering if I should quit my job and focus more on bitcoins? Because I think it might get me even richer without a job?  Grin

I am on the verge of doing that. As my job is not giving me  any satisfaction in terms of time and payback of hard work. On the other hand bitcoin is being realistic for me. I can earb as much as i want and that is also in my own comfort zone. I dont have to listen to anyone and plus i can sleep late morning too. Haha. Yeah my job is like worst and i think it is same case with everyone. Besides money and time bitcoin is also promising secured future while job wont do much for me when i will retire. Bitcoin seems more comfortable in case of use and adopting in real life.
If you feel on this way better to choose up already if your day stable job give you the stress specially on tight schedules and less earnings then maybe its the time to switch fully on bitcoin but we should really be ready on the risk knowing that bitcoin doesnt last forever and anytime it would disappear but we shouldnt think of that thing as of now because bitcoin is still young and there are lots of stuffs we can do on it.
Definitely I agree to your idea. I was once working for about four years in a company. I got exhausted in my job because I handled kids and adults a like. The worst was when I was depressed and I had to quit and here comes bitcoin. Bitcoin has given me an opportunity to rise again gradually. I was really upset before because I couldn't support something for my parents. However, job versus bitcoin, I'm weighing things out now that it can be both possible to multitask. But for now, I have to stick for bitcoin because it's really hard to find a job thesedays.
967  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why is gambling so addicting? on: July 28, 2017, 09:50:52 AM
that was great it a big check gambling is so addicting because of the person who has  drawn by his own desire.it is a desire of wanting a verry big money in a small period of time.and with that desire thier mind cant think that they've already become a victim on it.they will continue trying and in a long run they will end up to nothing.

If someone has put everything into gambling then they will think of nothing but only to gamble. It is very hard to quit gambling but it is not hard to control ourselves. I was one of the victim of gambling as well but I quit my bad habit and keep gambling without having to worry that bad habit got me again

This is not true. I believe one can balance both equally and gamble at the same time. If the person has control over his mind then they can control their gambling habits and not let that become a habit and ruin their lives. It is possible for a potential addict to control thier habits and then continue to do both giving time to both. But this is not for everyone though.
I also agree with you. Actually, if your mind set is always like that then you have a problem in giving up that's why it leads to addiction. But talking about its addictive effect of gambling, maybe it also depends on  whay kind of gamble you are addicted to. If it is profitable to you and has great potential in supporting your needs in using the money you have won in gambling then chances are, you will be addicted. Once you joined , aways wanted.
968  Economy / Economics / Re: How long could bitcoin last? on: July 28, 2017, 09:11:14 AM
As of right now, the bitcoin price is expected to keep going up in the next 20 years. But can it last that long? I believe it's possible. But can't it crash at a random time? Like the price going down hard.
Bitcoin prices are unpredictable, especially in the next 20 years, as we know recently bitcoin separation news on August 1 that has resulted in price declines before August 1, causing bitcoin panic because it is feared after the August 1 bitcoin transaction gets more complicated or Otherwise. Therefore no one can predict the bitcoin in the future.
yes i agree that is why we  cant answer this question for now.because bitcoin cant be  predicted who know where bitcoin go ?and what is tommorow brings with bitcoin? I think only the time can tell on how long bitcoin last.
well everything are just our own opinion for those who believes we are all agreeing that it wont last it will stay as long as people still using it and as long
as we are all here to continue the chain and it will not end, for those who doesn't believe they will keep looking for the time frame and news that will
break down this system.
Yeah. Actually we can't predict anything. For as long as many people get some benefits from it and it is still active, it won't end. It continues especially those who are badly in need and deserved people. Looking at the brighter side of bitcoin, makes everybody profitable and sustainable. If we keep on believing and dreaming, it will do come true and succeed just don't lose hope for everything has its ways to accomplish.
969  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: how to start trading with a very small amount on: July 28, 2017, 08:36:13 AM
I am not an expert trader. But starting with a very small amount is the right thing to do. Early trading stage will be like trial and error, exploration, and discoveries. There are more losses than when you already have a grasp of what trading really needs. Also try to do your serious study. Carefully trace the records of the coins you are trading.
That's right.Every amount you put up counts the smaller the value the better for it has lower risks. It doesn't need your expertise it needs effort and time for you to achieve. You have to have patience always with you in trading because you can't predict the following situation with the amount you trade. Consequently, if there are losses, you can instantly find ways to resolve.
970  Economy / Economics / Re: How can we push the actual use of Bitcoin ? on: July 28, 2017, 08:04:09 AM
In the past, when I had more btc, I thought about giving some of it away to people I liked for free.

I hoped gradually they might realize how great it is & educate others.

That could still work if someone could find the right people to get involved in crypto who would help it flourish and grow.
Definitely as you say. My sibling often monitor the rate of btc and as I've noticed he has wider idea than I do about it. In his case, he uses btc for trading most of the time and with that it gives him a profit. On the other hand, he also experiences fluctuations thus, it urges him not to give up trading because it serves his motivation and source of extra income.

How long does it take to get fda approval? and does it matter for the project?

From our whitepaper - https://drive.google.com/drive/u/1/folders/0B2CimLH8gflNMzY0WEFhRlBxSlU

Quote
We have received non-binding estimates to develop the tests below. In addition, we expect a one year waiting period for the Food and Drug Administration in the US to authorize our tests for:

• Vitamin D

• Cortisol and DHEA (biomarkers for stress)

• Malaria

• Tuberculosis

• Sex hormones

We are developing the testing platform in partnership with an FDA approved labroratory and our team have experience in applying for these necessary licenses. If there are delays we will pursue approvals in other jurisdictions.

This is an amazing campaign which serves people the best in the world of Health security. I am truly thankful to be part on this and hoping for the success of this project. We all know that it's difficult to find ways in developing better cure of each health problems so assume that soon this info will be dessiminated worldwide.
973  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Play with your profit or not? on: July 20, 2017, 11:17:58 PM
What is said right. If we already get 2x profit from our initial capital. Better to save first. Because we will not know our fate will always win? At least our capital is secure.

Sometimes even to get 50 % of our initial capital it is hard already so sometimes the best way is to get out when we already have 20-30 % of our initial capital. Depends on our capital as well because if you are like me that only gamble with a small amount then it is not worth to stop but just to keep on playing
True it also hard to play nowadays because gambling is different not unlike those past years if you already made up some profit then withdraw than playing your profit for nothing again you did you best effort make an good profit and then thinking about to lose them again hell no learn on how to stop doesnt mean you are accepting your lose.
The competition among gamblers for securing their profits must the reason for what you feel about the trend on gambling now a days. You may need to change yourself so that you may enjoy gambling regardless of these changes.
I mean to say extending gambling into new edgeless gambling and sports betting may open new things to a gamblers life rather than risking their profits with same types of gambling.
Exactly! Gambling is not a life long source of income and if you play with your profit, it will be your loss because probably you won't get the same profit that you've got to a particular business. We all have similar idea about gambling that it's for fun therefore, if it's not fun at all that's the end of gambling in your life.

975  Economy / Economics / Re: If USD falls on: July 17, 2017, 01:50:28 PM
A dollar collapse is when the value of the U.S. dollar plummets. Anyone who holds dollar-denominated assets will sell them at any cost. That includes foreign governments who own U.S. Treasurys. It also affects foreign exchange futures traders. Last but not least are individual investors.

When the crash occurs, these parties will demand assets denominated in anything other than dollars. The collapse of the dollar means that everyone is trying to sell their dollar-denominated assets, and no one wants to buy them. This will drive the value of the dollar down to near zero. It makes hyperinflation look like a day in the park.

Correct, on this way dollar would really lose its value since those holders would definitely dump it which they either decide on jumping  on other currency but its hard to believe that this thing will happen to USD knowing that this is the most powerful currencies globally which we would really presume that it wont easily fails or dies.
If USD falls then maybe bitcoin can solve it. I mean why not give bitcoin a chance to help as a starter like USD before as a matter of experimentation. If ever it clicks to the industry then it's the time to boom the market. I guess it will be a great opportunity for everybody's sake especially those micro businesses in our society. Definitely, they would love the idea and they can help other people who are badly in need of extra income which has difficulty also in budgeting so this will be the chance for them to change for the betterment. Therefore, there's nothing to worry if USD falls.
976  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How many people are asking you about Bitcoin now? on: July 17, 2017, 01:11:19 PM
I've been talking about Bitcoin to family, friends and random people for years and nobody seemed to mind when BTC was under $1000. But now that Bitcoin has reached $2000, people are starting to realize that owning 1 BTC is beginning to be out of reach for the average person.

I've had more people ask me about Bitcoin lately and wanted help buying Bitcoins. What about you?
No one asked me about bitcoin, they don't care. Also can say is they don't know to it.
There are few people who are asking me about bitcoin especially my parents. They said that bitcoin is so intriguing and catchy at the same time. It is somehow interesting on their part because they are in countryside and the business they have there is always trading animal farm which only happens once in a week. They hope that if they are computer literate they will actually join bitcoin but because they lack of knowledge, they can sustain and for them they don't have credentials to be part of bitcoin miner or investor. I think is not the case all the time but maybe because they don't have a chance to focus on one thing and their main source is only by trading goods.
977  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How do you deal with loss? on: July 17, 2017, 12:24:09 PM
Loss is always a part of any business and a part of having a successful future. In investing you either earn profit or loss its always a part but what you must do is always have a positive perspective and learn from your loss then apply it in your next steps of having a big profit and having your sweet success.
Yes, taking a risk is a normal case in a world of business and it's always the path to success. Losing some amount is of course frustrating  yet we have to deal with it in order for us to be flexible in a particular business. In dealing with my loss, I have to plan ahead of my possible problems and solutions so that I have nothing to worry and it saves my time thinking of any solution and I think that's best way of dealing with my loss or else I will innovate my products according to its demands.
978  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why Cash is better than Bitcoin. on: July 17, 2017, 11:30:39 AM
Of course cash is still better than bitcoin or any other digital currency around. Bitcoin is only good right now as an investment as its function as a currency has lagged way behind due to the limited number od merchants accepting it, while cash is pretty much accepted everywhere. Now, this may be the case presently but our grandkids might be talking about it differently 30 or 50 years from now.
Throughout the years cash is leading for it is our main way to pay bills or whatever you purchase using it. For some reason, bitcoin has also played a significance in our industry or in the market. Though it is a transparent money yet it has given many opportunities to people who want to have an extra income or somewhat investment. Cash is definitely better than bitcoin but without cash bitcoin won't exist and maybe soon, it will have a big name in our society.
979  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: i want invest money in cloud mining on: July 11, 2017, 02:54:54 PM
Thats big stake to put on genesis. It is profitable currently with one year of ROI rates. But who knows what will happen with genesis in one year of time bro. You can try something else, may be put the money into your own ICO development with the help of other sponsors and get shares of the company. Just saying!

I think that is a good idea of developing an ICO and because you have received support from the sponsors. But I don't see it will stay strong as it is for the coming years due to the situation of the bitcoin economy which sometimes an unpredicatable currency. Although you saying it's profitable, but let's just accept the fact that mining is not that progressive compared from recent years past, due to it's impact to the electric consumption and how efficient it is to mine bitcoin with regards to the supply.
980  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN]Pillar - The Personal Data Locker - 60hr Token sale begins July 15 on: July 11, 2017, 01:58:47 PM
this project has a good idea, but why too rush for the ico ? maybe if the team delay it for one month it will gives more attention to manyvinvestor out there
That is good with very limited time to buy in this ICO is everybody will buy at the same price.
With a 1 month long ICO, you have differents prices/rebate and some subscribers don't like that.
That's right. This project is convenient for everybody. Tokens are becoming to boom in the market for it's on sale. Investors will get attracted for the possible outcome of it. Great idea starts ahead and hopefully be successful on its journey to shine globally. Time is bounded for just 60 hours and that's quick enough for some people to buy token as well.
