Could someone create a new worker, test it if it works on their side, then give me the user/pass of the worker?
So I can see if the problem comes from the server or from me.

Quick question: I just changed the name/pass of my workers (deleted and created new), how much time does the server need to actually recognize my new miners?
CGMiner 2.7.5 is saying:
Quote
Pool 0 slow/down or URL or credentials invalid
Unable to get work from pool 0 http://mint.bitminter.com:80
My start cmd is the exact same as before.

tcping is not helping much:
Quote
Probing 176.9.104.178:80/tcp - Port is open - time=13.651ms
Probing 176.9.104.178:80/tcp - Port is open - time=9.556ms
Probing 176.9.104.178:80/tcp - Port is open - time=9.392ms
Probing 176.9.104.178:80/tcp - Port is open - time=9.465ms
Am I alone to have this problem?

Edit: There's definitely a problem. I just tried with -u Test -p Test, either with CGMiner 2.6.6 or 2.7.5 on port 80, it still doesn't work.
Edit2: With the Java BitMinter client there's no problem, but I lose 100 MH/s by mining with it ;(

Until I deleted and created the new workers this worked fine:
Code:
cgminer -o mint.bitminter.com:80 -u hahahafr_gpu0 -p x -o mmrpc.bitparking.com:80 -u hahahafr -p x -I 9 -d 0 --gpu-vddc 1.163 --gpu-engine 890,900 --gpu-memclock 300
cgminer -o mint.bitminter.com:80 -u hahahafr_gpu1 -p x -o mmrpc.bitparking.com:80 -u hahahafr -p x -I 9 -d 1 --gpu-vddc 1.163 --gpu-engine 890,900 --gpu-memclock 300
I don't get it.

Edit3: The port 8332 doesn't work either through Tor (Deepbit works).
Edit4: BFGMiner doesn't work either.

Fixed: <username>_<workername> is the login not just <workername> Cheesy
963  Other / CPU/GPU Bitcoin mining hardware / 5870 SDK/Drivers combination under W7 x64 on: September 17, 2012, 11:07:56 PM
Hi,

I did these tests so far with a 5870:

DriversSDKFreqsMH/s
12.82.7865/300354

What is the best combination as of today?
964  Other / CPU/GPU Bitcoin mining hardware / Re: 3x 5870 avg ~1050MH/s normal? on: September 17, 2012, 08:50:26 PM
So if I understand correctly, the SDK 2.1 gives best performance for a 5870, but what about the driver version?

Those are very low hashrates for those clock speed.

Install 2.1 SDK, verify the 2.1 SDK is installed, and make sure to select the platform when booting up cgminer with the "gpu-platform" command (first platform is 0. 2.1 will likely be platform 1). Also use phatk kernel, worksize 128, and vectors 2. Lastly, you said engine clocks are 865, 840, 860. Use these memory speeds in respective order. 173, 168, 172. You should get 401, 389, and 399 mhash respectively.
How do you come up with such strange memory values?

967  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Properly configure cgminer backup pool on: September 12, 2012, 12:48:50 PM
Hi,

I'm having trouble properly configuring a backup pool with cgminer, this is my current start command:

Code:
cgminer -o mint.bitminter.com:80 -u hahahafr -p x -o mmpool.bitparking.com:80 -u hahahafr -p x -I 9

This morning Bitminter went down for one hour, cgminer should have automatically used bitparking to mine in the meantime, but it didn't.

Any ideas Huh

from the 1st post in thier thread
Mining on port 80 available by pointing your miner to http://mmrpc.bitparking.com instead of http://mmpool.bitparking.com:15098
Code:
cgminer -o mint.bitminter.com:80 -u hahahafr -p x -o http://mmrpc.bitparking.com -u hahahafr -p x -I 9
should work Smiley
hope thats a help

Solved the problem! Thanks.

969  Other / Beginners & Help / Port 80 Mining on: September 11, 2012, 07:22:58 PM
Hi everyone, first post here!  Shocked

I was wondering, aside from Bitminter, what are the pools that support mining on the port 80?

Thank you
