Post not making much that sense RodeoX, you do realise I'm talking about a solution to global warming that's actually real and could work if there's enough money behind it right? You seem to be in troll mode.

If I'm not mistaken, didn't Al Gore have a hand in creating some sort of stock exchange, thus creating, of sorts, a flow of money to stop global warming.

In regard to the meteor that hit Península de Yucatán eons ago, thanks to plate tectonics, the peninsula's current location is no longer near its location when the meteor hit, let alone its shape.

Speaking of plate tectonics, the climate of the Earth would have been much different a billion plus years ago even if then the relative conditions we have today were the same, simply due to a larger disconnect ocean interacting with the sun and moon (as in tides), coupled with the conveyor system being completely different.

The question is kncminer really buying from Avalon? it remains to be seen? in reality they could easily make a bunch of money
selling the asic miner to us ...

They are not buying anything from Avalon.

If they have a large enough viewer rate, they could invest in some bitcoins prior to telling their minions how wonderful it is.

Visit the following http://alphapcbdesigns.com/ and click Testimonies.

It took me several hours, but I was able to narrow down the possibilities.

The reason the search term is shifted to the right is because at first I thought I was only going to crop the map, later opting to crop in the text on the left side of the map.

I love that when you click on the testimonials page you get "click back SOON to read testimonials from satisfied customers".   Does that mean BFL was their first.

Ironically, the same exact page(s) has been up for 7 years now: http://web.archive.org/web/20060824041322/http://www.alphapcbdesigns.com/

And not a single testimonial. Hell, even BFL hasn't given them one. Perhaps that is why BFL contracted them to do their BCPs--all the positive testimonials (and they are Greek). Which begs the question, who came first? Nasser or Vleisides? Nasser claims to bringing onboard Sonny in spite of his background, yet BFL's first facility was owned by Sonny's step dad.

Boys, we've been lied to from Day 1.

9631  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Was Paymium really hacked? Or are they running a scam? Latter appearing likely. on: April 16, 2013, 09:15:48 PM
Does anyone have a copy of the original "term of use" of Instawallet ?

Bump.

I can try to look how a letter should be written but I first need the ToS of the web site justbefore it was closed. In french or in english (or both so that I can check if there are differences).

The ToS is the "contract" between the user and the company running the site so I first need to see if it was a breach of contract (civil lawsuit possible) and/or if it is only a penal (not sure this word exists in english) lawsuit.

I tried looking for a cache, but to no prevail. I'm pretty sure it's going to be similar to what they use on their only sites.

Yep, it looks like this will work: https://a.bitcoin-central.net/s/terms_of_service

If these guys are Avalon resellers, I think the European customers - and everybody else - would appreciate an ASIC option that both will deliver and would have better customer service than Avalon itself (one can hope), and the claim to be able to ship this summer seems reasonable.

What happened with the plans to sell the units through regular retailers like Dustin?

As for votes for what particular configurations they want to sell, I wonder if they'll skip that and go straight to preordering. Cases, PSUs etc. would just be more overhead when they could just sell finished modules to the hungry masses.

Hell, why even sell the chips, where they could sell the mining rights to the silicon sand?

9634  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: BFL - Is this saga finally going to go away on: April 16, 2013, 09:02:49 PM

Let me guess: This lady did the bumping on the chips.

And at the Greek Orthodox Church, this is how they sacrifice a wafer:

9635  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Instawallet claim process on: April 16, 2013, 06:18:55 PM
I see how the game is played now: Hack your own sites, claim money was stolen, claim to fill out a police report, ignore all requests from those who entrusted you with their assets, then call them trolls for requesting a simple number to set them at ease.

You sir, are one sick mother fucker!
9636  Other / Off-topic / Re: private drones on: April 16, 2013, 06:10:25 PM
There could be a private anti-drone business. This could be great fun until someone loses an eye.
Shooting it down would be fun, but capturing it would be even more fun. It might even be easy to interfere with the control signal and send that plane to the ground.

The fun would be short-lived if you don't disconnect its GPS quickly enough. But, if you were able to do that, then hold it for ransom, payable via Bitcoin only.
9637  Other / Off-topic / Re: Boston Marathon Explosions on: April 16, 2013, 06:02:52 PM
My theory is that this was an act of domestic terrorism. Linked to the "sovereign citizens" movement. We should look for a 35-50yr. old American citizen who is anti-government and has few social contacts. Particularly someone hit hard by the economic downturn. I would think a lone wolf type.

Why would he bomb a marathon, though? That's only going to create more government.

Cause he is stupid/unhinged. The only sane way to implement some kind of dissidence is with a decent sized group of like-minded people so you have backup and support. This is a problem for lone-wolf-types and the frustration also feeds back into their alienation and paranoia. This is a desperate act, I have no doubt.
What Richy said makes sense to me. I envision the bomber thinking this will be appreciated by people. It will start the revolution! Of course sane people will see it as a senseless, murderous act. The scary thing is that who ever it was likely was still there when the bomb went off. Security was too tight to place this bomb in advance.
I am guessing it was propane based and used an egg timer or something. It did not appear to me that any shrapnel was used in the design. This was not a person trained in how to make bombs. But this person did feel comfortable moving through a crowd of Americans.

I've yet to catch up with the recent news on this, but I plainly see the logic spelled out above. Interesting!

Nix the Iran-Korea link, now leaning toward a false-flag time-to-end-the-militias-in-America theory.

Meanwhile 30 people where killed in a bombing in Afghanistan (during a wedding) today and 50+ people in deadly bombings in Iraq.  But who gives a fuck about them, when some shit goes down in MERIKA! Angry

Millions slaughtered in the middle east?  Who gives a shit, Snooki had a fucking BABY!  Does that mean nothing to you people?!

+1 , only it's not the country I hate. It's our GOVERNMENT, or lack of government.

I'd love a lack of government Grin  Right now, we've got too too much government.  But you're right, I have nothing against this country, or its people.  I just don't like being the 99%.

It's worse than that. Psy has a new video out that in my opinion sucks, yet has had 77 million plus views in two days, but here we are in this forum structuring a system to make their lives better and 99,999999% of those viewers could give a shit.
9640  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: April 15 BFL ASIC update on: April 16, 2013, 08:43:10 AM
Despite the crash in 2011 (which caused me to leave the forums with despondency) each year BTC has grown 1000% roughly.  The recent run up was not healthy.  Anybody who bought last year in the $2 to $6 range is doing well.

Unless you had all your bitcoins in a wallet at InstaWallet like some people I know, then you're pretty well fucked.
