9641  Economy / Economics / Re: How the Bank works to make money? on: July 11, 2018, 03:44:09 AM
How do you think banks make money
Through interests, lending and other of their investments.

how does a bank make money to pay its employees and business operational?
We deposit our money to the banks and they are using it for lending to big investors whom they can trust with collateral basically and it runs through the years paying them. That's covering all their operation including salaries and other stuffs. There's also what we call bank charges, when your savings hits below the required balance, you'll be charged.

Does the bank rely solely on interest on loans from banks?
They have other investments and services.
9642  Economy / Economics / Re: Mistakes That Make You Poor Poor In Cryptocurrency on: July 11, 2018, 12:08:19 AM
1. Newbies doesn't know that putting funds on exchanges is okay.
2. No idea on how much their billing is but it's not for someone that just want to enter mining and be called a miner.
3. Once is enough but if you get caught again by these phishing links, you better check yourself.
4. Don't get FOMO.
5. Only for exchanges account, activate 2FA.
6. Don't invest on ICOs.
9643  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What should Ethereum has to improve to be better than Bitcoin? on: July 10, 2018, 11:58:42 PM
What should they improve?
Include the network itself to reduce the fees and confirmation time just like what everyone is complaining about bitcoin.

Now that ETH has this, before it was quite too fast now it's one of the slowest network that we've been using. Though it's quite slow we're still using it and the same goes for bitcoin.

This is what Vitalik is doing now. Vitalik Buterin: Sharding Scaling Improvement ‘Is Coming’ To Ethereum Network
9644  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Does crypto work for you? on: July 10, 2018, 11:07:39 PM
What works for Mr A, might not work for Mr B. You need to discover your spot in life. That crypto doesn't work for you, does not mean it is bad or that it will crash.
Don't you look at the market hat way, because it just didn't suit you you are thinking that its likely to fall. If it doesn't work for you, take time to study.

I have heard and read about some people who left crypto because of one unforeseen circumstance or the other.
They are not risk takers and it's up to their own decision why they left.

Cryptocurrency can be very interesting, most especially for those who understand the principles behind it.
Right.

There are different areas of crypto you can explore. Learn more about it. If none works for you (of which i believe one will definitely work for you), try to look for another cool spot in life that will work perfectly well for you.
Great words of encouragement.
9645  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Will you still use MEW? on: July 10, 2018, 10:22:03 PM
No problem, if you are fully aware of such attacks and you are updated you can just move your funds quickly if something goes wrong.

But having a back up wallet where you are storing most of your crypto's like nano ledger s is the best thing to do. I know many are comfortable of using MEW so you can't just leave it because it's easy to access and send/receive your tokens to exchange.
9646  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Signature Campaign on: July 10, 2018, 09:54:52 PM
Don't depend on others opinion on what they describe what is a good signature campaign.

We do have our differences and meaning with what's "good". You better look for a bounty that's accepting a junior member, those bounties that are legit and not a scam.

A good signature campaign means a campaign that will pay you at the end without a scam, I will advice you to look for a signature campaign run by a legend member that is reputable.
Like this one.
9647  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do not expect something from ICOs till btc to FLY on: July 10, 2018, 09:35:16 PM
Today we can see a lot of ICO struggling for financing, some of them even canceling or delaying.
They are not struggling financially, they have no real prospect and company to finance so many of them are failing but lucky are those who succeed.
A lot of old Altcoin have seen bottom , new ones even under ico price.
After it was listed on an exchange, they are dump together with the bounty hunters.
When we look at the history of ICOs we notice  they start collecting money like 2016 they rise till the end of 2017 and falling in 2018 just like the btc. It is obvious they follow btc wave. So do not expect too much things from ICOs, tokens, altcoins.
2016-2017 is the golden age of ICOs but now isn't anymore.
There is likely more than a year for  btc  to gather strength, same for ICOs.
ICOs are likely to fail while bitcoin is destined to be on the top again.
9648  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin's future is DOWN on: July 10, 2018, 09:18:46 PM
Nice name, predict0r and you are telling things according to your opinion and prediction.

Don't say word that might shot you on the future, just remember that there are well known person who said that Bitcoin is a bubble but now they are on the top 100 earning from it and advertise it!
It's okay if his saying it, that's his opinion and his entitled for that.

So I'll just watch.
Good luck watching the market, we may feel bad during the downs but you'll also understand how it feels when all things you have said go well oppositely to what you are saying.

9650  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will cryptocurrency be a key financial sector in the future? on: July 10, 2018, 05:39:52 PM
Blockchain is being used and starting it's adoption from various companies and financial sectors are in consideration of using crypto's.

There has been a lot of doubts to crypto's since it's the main competitor of these financial institutions who are controlling the market and has been dominant for so many years.

Not until something new came in.
9651  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin large transaction volume or no volume after 20 years ? on: July 10, 2018, 12:49:32 PM
10 years from now there are still more users of bitcoin but the rest will be speculations.

I can't tell and I don't want to be sure of what I'm saying after 20 years and that's why Satoshi said the same thing.

But I want it to have large transaction volume, like the comparison of others that bitcoin is currently in the 90's of internet.
9652  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are they any real Crypto traders left here? on: July 10, 2018, 10:30:44 AM
I'm still trading.
I think you are joking, especially for trade and prize hunters.
He isn't joking, he noticed the numbers of bounty hunters has increased in the forum.
there are many number of investors who are involved in this forum.
Almost everyone.
9653  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Altcoins BETTER than BITCOIN? on: July 10, 2018, 09:10:39 AM
No, it won't happen that altcoins are going to be better than bitcoin. What's the meaning of altcoin? Alternative coin and it only means that it derived from the original concept of bitcoin.

And do you think the authentic will be surpassed by the so called better that only copied the whole concept of bitcoin with some upgraded version base on their devs? no.
9654  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What do you suppose will happen when BTC loses it's dominance? on: July 10, 2018, 08:51:49 AM
Dominance of bitcoin was quite higher today than before, it was stable to 40%.

Bitcoin is losing their price from last more than 6 months and thought of traders are still in the recovery of bitcoin but the price is still not recovering there is a lot of time is required to grow the price and provide profitable market again.
You better chill out and watch the market until the market becomes stable again and reaches it's ceiling. The price went to the bottom of $5,800 and aren't you happy enough that it went up again quickly?
Last April there's a quick pump for just an hour, it's no joke.
9655  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How do you research altcoins? on: July 10, 2018, 08:23:08 AM
How do you research altcoins to invest in?
I'm looking at this charts and do my own technical analysis and still do my research by reading reviews about that certain coin.

I'm talking about legit/long term investing in projects that have real potential to become something that creates value.
I don't see ICOs as profitable, I'm only looking at them if they get listed and becomes fully coin and I'm avoiding the scam ones.
9656  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will 2018 bitcoin amendment price be similar to 2014? on: July 10, 2018, 07:09:59 AM
So if 2018 repeats 2014 i would not be suprised.
No more surprises like what happened in the past, everything can happen as it is from the past.

But I wouldn't be surprised either if the price goes crazy to the wave that we're not expecting in a positive manner. I'm bullish and wouldn't think of something that can give me worries and that will keep me thinking on how bitcoin will be ending this year.
9657  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Atls with actual use case right now on: July 10, 2018, 05:58:56 AM
I am working on a project which hasn’t been officially announced yet, but we place extreme emphasis on the utilization of the token. We want our community to be able to actually use it for its intended purpose as soon as they buy it. What tokens do you hold and use?
I'm using and holding bitcoin and in your case, if you are serious with your project and use its token for some purposes.

I've read some proposals that they will be using their utility coin for their service and other part of their coin as shares or display on how much they have to profit with the said platform. If you have plans of doing that make sure that you'll focus with what you are doing or your project will look like a joke.
9658  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Future of cryptocurrency this 2018 on: July 10, 2018, 05:29:38 AM
So I would like to know what do you think will happen to BTC, ETH and the whole crypto market this 2018.
The future of bitcoin, there's no need to debate for it and what do you think about Ethereum after this news?
Google Co-Founder Mines Ethereum (ETH), Lauds Zero-Knowledge Proofs

Is it possible to have a bullish market again?
Very much possible.
9659  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What is your experience with your first signature campaign? on: July 09, 2018, 11:57:56 PM
To tell you honestly, I'm still having doubts. What hinders me is my capability to express myself in English and If I can really sensibly contribute to this community.
If you managed to get in to that campaign, it has a reliable and reputed manager but I see not your name on the spread sheet so you better try again next time.

Most of your post are about social media campaigns, no campaign is going to pay you with those post. Most of the rules aren't counting those posts.
9660  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Big budget versus Great idea. Who eventually wins? on: July 09, 2018, 11:42:44 PM
It's about the budget and costing of advertisement.

Like in the national television, for a fast food chain that doesn't have real delicious foods but the presentation is quite good enough to crave the viewers.

That's how it goes with projects that doesn't have real proposal but has capital for advertisement in different platforms and websites.
