9661  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Creating same priv. key two times on: July 10, 2015, 06:34:22 PM
Well, I would not say it is a prank. If you have the time you can click yourself through all 904625697166532776746648320380374280100293470930272690489102837043110636675 pages and you will find every private key to a bitcoin address you want  Cheesy

This issue was discussed several times here. For sure, it is possible to create same keys but it is very very very...very unlikely. Even with quantum computers it would last decades.
To make you a little bit more afraid, just visit www.directory.io for example  Cheesy

Yea, I see that site before.
Its only a prank Cheesy

I suggest to start a coin burning program for the coin in order to get trust back. There are some example where coin had success after such a program.

What did you guys cut the number of coins to? 1 billion or less, maybe 500 million, is good if you want the coins to hold value.

Falls Interesse hast, Google einfach mal "Nxt Asset Exchange".

Bitcoin does have a full time dev team and good funding now from MIT (even if their codebase is unmaintainable).

NEM is the most successful release since the end of 2014, so I am thrilled that we are holding our own still.
Things are progressing much better than I could have anticipated, as will become apparent in the coming weeks (a lot of stuff isn't yet ready to be disclosed, so watch out for the NEM ninjas).

I trust your claims and that much is going around development in the background. Increasing my stake from day to day.

Thanks, got the dividend again. I would welcome it by getting dividend payments also for my superBTCD stake. Any plans when the assets will receive dividends, too?

I always pay fee and I paid 0.0002 for this transaction. It was not my first transaction with 0.5 BTC or higher. But I have never waited longer than 10 to 15 minutes.

I had to wait about 45 min to get first confirmation. It's a significant increase compared to a month ago, but i'm sure they'll fix it somehow and soon.
A year ago the same thing used to take 10 min!

Pay the fee and you won't have any problems. I just sent some BTC and paid the 0.0001 fee and it was confirmed in minutes.
9669  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Qora | 100% POS | Assets | Names | Voting | Automated Transactions on: July 10, 2015, 05:12:11 PM
Same to me. I am waiting for three weeks now to get my Qora out of Poloniex. I wrote a support ticket where I friendly ask about when withdrawal function will be available again. I have not got a response yet :/

Has anyone been able to successfully deposit/withdraw Qora from Poloniex or Bter. I'm approaching 4 weeks now and still deposit credit. Meanwhile, their address they provided me is generating blocks.

@devs - just to confim, there are no pending issues that are being directly communicated between Bter, Poloniex and yourselves?

I am an affiliate. If you need more information or if you want to buy a plan, feel free to pm me.

I rather guess, it is because of the current Bitcoin and Litecoin price rally. Most VRC investors are selling their coins in order to jump on the Bitcoin and Litecoin train.

VRC price is going down. I think people are getting disillusioned from VRC (too), and quite understandably why. Very little happened to the coin in the last 12 months terms of development and nothing happened at all which matters and could increase the price.

That's quite true, that could be a very important factor in the selling of VCR.

9671  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What is your trading strategy? on: July 10, 2015, 05:08:54 PM
Very simple strategy: Watching the ANN threads of about twenty promising coins and waiting for new releases. If a new release has been announced then I buy the coin with a stake between 0.1 to 0.5 BTC. Around 90% of the coins rise over the next weeks. So there is a good benefit between 10 and 200% each time.
Usually the most people get into a coin when they see on coinmarketcap etc that it is rising. But this is too late.

Crypto Facilities Teams Up With Elliptic Bringing Bitcoin to Capital Markets

Two London-primarily based companies, Crypto Facilities and Elliptic, have joined forces to give a settlement and clearing mechanism to separate bitcoin custody from other exchange functions. The settlement and clearing mechanism marks an additional stage in bringing bitcoin to capital markets.

One more of America’s significant cities will now have its very own Bitcoin Center, opening today in Chicago after a statement at the In Bitcoins Conference taking place there now. The initiative is moneyed in part by Tally Resources, a neighborhood endeavor funding firm that sees the possibility of block chain modern technology.

9676  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [XRA] Ratecoin POW/POS - No ICO/ No premine / No ninja on: July 09, 2015, 06:25:11 PM
You are right. The market cap is still very low. There is space up to ten times in marketcap in my opinion.

I believe the dev said that the miner would run for about 3 months - at which point it would become uneconomic.
Of course the bit about burning half the supply with the miner profits was made when the price was MUCH lower - impossible to burn half the supply now, at the current price, with the revenue from the miner Sad

Does it really matter? Coin is still priced so low, even with the 73 mil supply

How long will the coin burning program will last? is there a fixed or will it run until no coins exist anymore?

Bitcoin is an interesting alternative payment option for both retailers and consumers.  Retailers can save a lot of money in fees per transactions, and attract customers from all over the world.  But so far, there have been little to no specific “Bitcoin Deals” for consumers.

Yes, it was me. Thank you! Made over 400% in less than 24 hours. Was a good deal so far.  Cool

Get into the coin at 27 satoshi yesterday. A really good deal so far  Shocked
i think there is some more space for increase.

Are you this coin that write in my "promotion" thread for Ratecoin, that will buy some XRA?

That was deleted today :/

I said it, it will be a good decision.

i personally had some problems by sending 0.5 BTC to an exchange. it lasted over 5 hours until the transaction was confirmed. Now it works much faster again.
