9661  Economy / Services / Re: WE PAY FOR SIGNATURE EVEN MORE. UP TO 0.0016 BTCs PER POST. WEEKLY PAYOUTS. on: June 07, 2014, 12:35:07 PM
He's never online to confirm anybody. Many members seemingly spent all week re-quoting their sign-up posts in attempt to get noticed and that still doesn't explain all the other users who didn't get the right amount.

Hanging Garden - Will You Share This Ending With Me

Eerie video. It's like a mini low-budget horror movie.

It doesn't say that you might not get paid anything because the op is too busy to check or confirm people's sign-ups anywhere. I don't think it's harsh at all especially when he seems to respond to next to zero messages or forum queries, but I'm surprised you're making excuses for him. I don't believe he has any intention to scam or not pay people what they are owed or whatever but he really needs to get on top of things because it will damage his company's reputation if he doesn't.
9664  Other / Archival / Re: Updated Overview of Bitcointalk Signature-Ad Campaigns on: June 07, 2014, 09:41:45 AM
Well, it's quite clear in the opening post that he doesn't pay for posts that aren't quality/constructive/on-topic/contributing. So yes, I am going to assume that I didn't get paid for certain posts, since it's the most logical assumption.

I can understand why someone would open such a topic, but I doubt he will get a faster answer because of that, haha. If someone is busy, that person is busy. Not much you can do about it.

Nah, the most logical explanation is that he didn't calculate what he should be paying people right, but if you're ok with telling yourself it's for bad posts then that's fine for you, but not for everyone else who feels they've been cheated. And how many posts did you make that wern't 'quality/constructive/on-topic/contributing' exactly?

And the scam accusation doesn't require his response, but it might force him to stop being incompetent or ignoring people when the reputation of his business is being tarnished by accusations of scams/non-payment.
9665  Other / Archival / Re: Updated Overview of Bitcointalk Signature-Ad Campaigns on: June 07, 2014, 09:29:34 AM
Also, I got paid just fine. Not for all my posts, but that's because he reduces your post count for bad posts.

I think you're just assuming that it's for bad posts or he's just using it as an excuse. I suspect he just didn't add or count the posts properly. He said to one user the posts will be carried over to the next period which he didn't get paid for and they never were. There are still several people from what I can gather who didn't get what they were owed. One user has opened a scam accusation thread because he apparently didn't get anything and not a single message was answerd.
9666  Economy / Services / Re: My ass in a G-String? on: June 07, 2014, 09:24:26 AM
It's probably just some picture he found on the internet. Unless he time/user-stamps the pictures properly then it's bullshit. But still, even doing that doesn't prove anything. There was a user here a while ago pretending to be a girl and had time/name-stamped pictures with even bitcointalk forum visible on the computer in the background but it was just a guy getting a girl to take the pictures so he could try scam/beg some cash.
9667  Economy / Invites & Accounts / Re: Selling Bitcointalk Full member status accounts on: June 07, 2014, 09:18:06 AM
Snr accounts don't seem to go for more than 0.4 unless they're really high activity and well on their way to becoming Hero Members, but the account he's selling isn't even a Snr yet. There's plenty of competition with account sellers now so if you want to sell it quickly you'll have to undercut competition. I'm sure we'll see more and more accounts being sold as time goes on so the price will probably get lower and lower as well.
9668  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Just a bit of forewarning for people who have wallets stored at blockchain on: June 07, 2014, 08:22:33 AM
They don't and can't check all the millions of ads they put up. You or I could pay to put a similar one there. They only care about the money but will remove it if it's a phishing site. And if you have 2-factor set up and a second password on your account then your funds are pretty safe. Keep a back up of your wallet offline and a blockchain.info wallet could be safer than a desktop one for you.
9669  Other / Archival / Re: Updated Overview of Bitcointalk Signature-Ad Campaigns on: June 07, 2014, 08:20:06 AM
What happened with Howzar was unfortunate and probably a rare occurrence. If money was held in another escrow as bitcoininformation suggested then the funds could've still been released to whoever. If he is indeed struggling then he should certainly employ someone else to look after the deals whether from within his own company or these forums. Running a shoddy advertising campaign is only going to have a counter-productive and negative impact on your business so it's worth doing it right. Run a flawless campaign where all your users are happy and that's great for business.
9670  Other / Archival / Re: Updated Overview of Bitcointalk Signature-Ad Campaigns on: June 07, 2014, 07:48:20 AM
Exactly. He always disappears over the weekend and goes many days without even answering people's queries or confirming users. Then he comes back, most people get payouts even though many are not what they're supposed to be, and people still stick with him. Bizarre. I don't see how people can put faith in that system for an entire month when there's been problems every single week. I think he's just struggling with it himself. He should've took the help bitcoininformation offered.

for all haters: all I said was: Feel free to tip.
And I am a full member so how can this be a gimmick account???
Come on guys, I bet a dozen of you guys have jerked off to my pics, so stop playing gay and feel free to tip me.

Thank you

Letitia

man, you really, really sound like a guy.. a guy who might get off to knowing other dudes jack off to him.

Of course he's a guy. Do women really lurk around on these forums and come out with the kind of crappy insults he does? Read his first posts. He's just a failed scammer and is now desperately trying to beg some little amount of btc that he can. It's too obvious when users go out of their way to make sure everybody knows they're a girl (having 'girl' in the username is a big giveaway).

btw, on girlsgonebitcoin or whatever subreddit it was, there was laready a guy who posted pictures of his ass with a bra on, and after all these guys beated off to it and flirted with him, he revealed that he wasn't a chick. everyone had a laugh, except for the guys who got all hot and horny over a dude's ass.

It's good that you can laugh about it now and have come to terms with your sexuality Wink Cheesy.
9672  Other / Archival / Re: Updated Overview of Bitcointalk Signature-Ad Campaigns on: June 07, 2014, 07:26:06 AM
I'd avoid UpDown.bit. Many people still seem to have not got what they were owed and the new limits now make it less appealing, not to mention you've got to wait a month now wondering what money you're actually going to get at the end of it.
9673  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Just a bit of forewarning for people who have wallets stored at blockchain on: June 07, 2014, 07:21:34 AM
If you had 2-factor set up this wouldn't've happened. I prefer to get a code texted to my phone. If you have a keylogger or your password is the sane as your email then email 2-factor is probably useless. Maybe bc.info should include three factor though. I would use that if available.
9674  Other / New forum software / Re: Post Deletion Messages on: June 07, 2014, 07:16:48 AM
I and others have suggested mods being able to comment on reports before. It would be a good idea and very helpful to all involved. Number of incorrect reports would then surely decrease rapidly.

Just hit 150+ rolls under 90 and did not win one bet, busted around 2BTC
can anyone tell me how this is even statistically possible? this has not happened once in my lifetime on any gambling site until now.

As in you lost 150 bets in a row of which you were betting with a 90% chance to win?

If that's the case that is so statistically improbable that I would seriously question the fairness of PD, but on the other hand it's far more likely I've misinterpreted. Could you please confirm whether I have in fact thought about this correctly?

I think the opposite. Think he was trying to roll over 90 so 10% chance to win.

9677  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: If I cannot touch it, it does not exist threshold that needs to be overcome on: June 07, 2014, 06:57:23 AM
You cannot touch god but he exists... Haha just kidding.

Are you sure about this?

You can't hold a stock, or most of the contents of your bank account, or your pension or your bonds. People are accustomed to the idea of numbers on screens or paper adding up to real world benefits unless they're batty or ancient.

Exactly. If anyone has a problem understanding that Bitcoin exists tell them the money in their account doesn't either. And neither do those MP3s on your hardrive. They exist and they have worth.

You should have the site bookmarked and always double check when you're clicking on links from google. Did you have 2-factor set up?

I support threads like this. Thumbs up, OP. Gimme some peach fuzz, landing strip, something at least, LOL. Tongue

(Is this a gimmick account or what? Cheesy)

Troll / scammer account with some dude who has gender identity issues and likes to pretend he's a girl on the Internet for male affection and attention.
