9661  Economy / Gambling / Re: Stake.com | The Bitcoin Casino | Plinko, Mines, Blackjack, Roulette + 8 more 👽 on: September 03, 2018, 06:23:22 AM
Hi All,

Later today we are going to launch a large update to the Stake platform. During this period there will be a downtime of roughly 6-8 hours, but may be subject to change. Apologies for any inconveniences caused.

As with all large updates, your seeds will be required to be rotated on next login. This is for various reasons but most importantly player security and complete transparency.

Excellent news. Stake is one of the really good recent casinos to launch, and now that it is one year old you can see how a well run site can grow so quickly. Is there anything particular to be shared with this large update?

This is a feedback for the site to improve, maybe too late for this update but something to look at next? The chat moves too fast. I don't even chat anymore because it's impossible to follow. It should have a function to sort of mute non-important updates or to have a separate window that shows Rain plus Bet shares and maybe also implement a sort of auto-muting for those spamming and 1 liners. Just my take!
9662  Economy / Gambling / Re: Goodbye P3D,Hello HoHo!! on: September 03, 2018, 05:20:51 AM
Is this is somekind like ponzi? It has much more greater divident on joining people instead of huge inveators. Does not really making sense here, and even double from dividents from the latter? How can this can be possible? How is this exactly really work? You should give more explanation about how this things going or this can't work

I think you mean the game HoHoBet, right?
It is not a ponzi, you can get revenue by both bet early and bet on the right side. If you bet early, there is more uncertainty where the price goes, the people who bet later could get the information and make a better choice. The former earn dividends with a little chance to win the game, the latter pay tax to the former with a big probability to win. So it is a game, and you make your decision.

So many of you guys coming and going. Was almost tempted to play a recently launched game here (fomo's too big!) but then the game seems to have just gone quiet. Still very curious so I need to ask one thing: with the dividend option tokens, do they expire once the game ends, as in you have to keep buying in for every game to win a share of dividends? Secondly, does it matter when you buy the dividend tokens or can you buy up a huge amount near the end of the game and still get the same share as if you bought early?
9663  Economy / Gambling / Re: Are there any good arcade style games? on: September 03, 2018, 05:16:12 AM
Used to be a site called playforcrypto. I spent like, a lot of time there playing stupid games like snake until I could get enough coins to withdraw (if I'm not mistaken they used to allow you to convert to Bitcoin).

I should have seen it coming when they started to change things, change coins, remove coins and all that. About a month ago they just went offline suddenly. Lost all the coins I never withdrew, and it tells me you can't really run a site like that and be profitable. As pointed out, too easy to cheat with bots.
9664  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Bitcoin/ Crypto ATM's on: September 02, 2018, 11:31:33 AM
Perhaps I would try just to get the experienced.  Smiley

But with the premium fees, its not a good option for anyone at this point. I lived where I can get it bitcoin in a convenient store, haven't tried it as well but there's one across the street that anytime I go to and buy and see how it goes.

Probably what a Bitcoin ATM machine can offer is less risk as compare to P2P and meeting someone who is a total stranger.

Actually I have never even seen any of these ATMs except on pictures online and how people talk about them. So like you I am probably curious to get some. Actually where I am living now, even localbitcoin fees and prices from Sellers are almost 10% at times especially with recent demand and that stupid crypto ban in my country. So if I could get ATM Bitcoins at 10% I probably would. I don't like meeting strangers too. So many crime from those meetings happened in my country.

It's a strange thing to imagine for me, to be able to buy Bitcoin everywhere. Perhaps one day if I can travel I will see all of these amazing sights.
9665  Economy / Securities / Re: LoyceV's Legendary 10 Month 10 Person 10 Altcoin Investment Roller Coaster #2 on: September 02, 2018, 10:20:03 AM
Hello, this is an interesting thread. I invested myself in a few types of pooled portfolios online. They made me some money in the end of last year even until January, but I was too greedy and wanted to make 3 digit percentage profit that I left it all untouched.

As of today, I have lost almost 75% of my initial investments, because mainly altcoins have failed to recover like Bitcoin. So whoever picked NANO there is either quite lucky or very wise!

I read from the old threads there is maybe a Round 3 or another one for latecomers like me. Am I wrong?
9666  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: It could take 2 years for the market to recover on: September 02, 2018, 09:15:14 AM
It is not regarding the recovery of everything, some alts ar already going back to their previous worth and bitcoin and ethereum do simply a similar issue. you must trust your alts a lot of.

Which alts are you talking about? Just look at the top 20 or even top 50, not a single alt is anywhere NEAR their old worth. Neither in dollar value and neither in Bitcoin value. Bitcoin as of this moment is making a new climb back around 7,250 and even ETH couldn't break past $300 now, just going back towards 290.

The longer this happens, the more we must all be prepared for the market to recover.

And now you see it. We shouldn't have had all these thousands of tokens.
9667  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Trading, campaigns, gambling or mining? on: September 02, 2018, 08:40:57 AM
Which one would you prefer or best to earn? As far as i have come across, crypto is the best platform to have good earnings. We have many who have a good experience on it and still into it without a regular job. Many have left their main job after experiencing double income from crypto. Many have become millionaire and have changed their lifestyles. Which one would be the best to have good crypto earnings?

Crypto is simple the medium. If you talk about trading, gambling, there's not much difference between fiat and crypto (except maybe there are such things as faucets in crypto).

Don't believe all the stories about secrets to making money. Since the 90's, people sell their secrets online. To trading, to casino arbitrage, poker secrets, and today are all the tricks and stories about how to make money with Bitcoin trading, arbitrage... etc.

Same tricks, different era, different tools. Now it is Bitcoin.

There is NO easy road in life. Bitcoin is not an easy road.
9668  Economy / Gambling / Re: BITDICE - 🎲🎲🎲 Treasure Chest Is Back! 🎰🎰🎰 on: September 02, 2018, 08:09:49 AM
This is a smart and long term planning approach, and like I said I have barely seen poker requests in this thread or on the site. As Boxxob has mentioned the player base is not big enough for the site to add poker, and it takes lot of time and money to get poker in the site, and if the returns are not good or negligible then I feel this is a good decision. There's no merit in the argument that poker will keep site users active, as Bitdice is not known for poker, and it would lead to unnecessary comparison with other poker sites.

I think we all should focus now on the upcoming sports bet, as we have a official confirmation of it coming soon.

I'll bring the news over here once I have everything confirmed.

Ah okay so fair enough, now that I've read all the comments against poker. I don't really agree about competition, I think it's good and competition is better for everyone BUT I do agree most of all with the part about the difficulty to monitor all the cheaters and unfair play on poker. That will be so difficult it's not worth it, which is impossible to game with sportsbooks.

So good decision in the end.
9669  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Attention bounty hunters - Amazix is scam! on: September 01, 2018, 03:11:16 PM
I work with this company almost from the very beginning as it appeared The company works fine You have to understand that they take into account only quality work and This is a huge plus company is not scammers It tries to find professionals You must understand this In my opinion She is one of the best

I actually didn't do any program with them, as you can see my signature campaign is long term and from a long time ago. I also deleted my Twitter and Facebook accounts, so I couldn't participate with any bounty from there even if I wanted to.

But observations wise, they have the strictest rules and the most active channels, even as a bystander I can see this. I should say though that this is only a reflection of Amazix and not the projects they manage. I've seen plenty of projects turn bad once they've completed their Amazix partnerships.
9670  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Need for advice and YOUR feedback About ICO ranking website on: September 01, 2018, 01:24:30 PM
They're definitely not useful for proper investment decisions, but they can be a good idea to learn something about what's going on. Sort of like, just to catch up with what's out there.

Mainly because they're paid to list those reviews, if they're not paid then they're posting those reviews to earn bounties. So either way, you know they're saying something good, or can't say something too bad, or they won't get paid or not get enough bounties.

They're ok for finding websites, channels, etc. But nothing you can't find on your own.
I agree with your suggestion because these sites to me are only good to get updates about new projects and their ranking cannot be trusted because most of them paid to give good scores to a project that does not even worth it while less ranked projects even do better. When you check the rating of the project, it is good for you to sit back and do your own research before you put your money in it.

Definitely! I mean, think about it. If these sites were all honest and objective, then in general most of the ratings would be low. Because a good-rated ICO is very hard to come by. It's not just about the team and advisers who are all good and well known. It's not just about a great whitepaper, cause everyone can write a decent one these days and charge a few hundred dollars.

In the end, it's very hard to rate an ICO until they have a good history of product development and active developers - which 99% of ICOs don't have.
9671  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: BOUNTIES That's Paying ETHEREUM (or Listed Currencies) on: September 01, 2018, 11:35:19 AM
To answer OP's question, or rather to reconfirm, yes just stick to standard signature campaigns on this forum in the normal Bitcoin Services section.

Don't fall for all those bounties that pay 100s of dollars in tokens. You know it yourself, these tokens never get listed, or if they do it's on some low volume exchange where you can't sell anything.

The services section appear to pay less, but at least it's in Bitcoin and that's always liquid. I have been only sticking to those services, and since it's a service I also like and use, I feel like I'm giving back value to the service, they're paying me for something I like and use, and I help the site grow at the same time.
9672  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: The article is for bounty participants on: September 01, 2018, 08:58:47 AM
After a while participating in the bonus campaign, I discovered that some bad guys have used my information to sign up for the bonus. I feel very upset with those people, Why do they take action?. I consider it the act of theft.  I advice, When you participate in bounty campaigns, be sure to update your spreadsheet regularly. In order to talk to the managers about this issue if you encounter.
This is the thief: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=24427
Be careful with this person

This happens quite regularly, and I also have been a victim, where somebody used my account user name and even my Telegram username. That made me stop my old Telegram account and to this day I don't use it anymore.

It was my mistake a long time ago to submit details on a public spreadsheet. So any bounty participants now please take note: if the spreadsheet is public and reveals things like email or username on Telegram, just avoid it. You'll get so much spam later on.

Reporting it can be helpful too, so do your part if you see your name abused.
9673  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: Crypto-exchange without any fee - Is this Interesting? on: September 01, 2018, 08:31:38 AM
To those that don't understand the 0% trading fee, he's talking about it as part of their marketing and promotion. It would take a week or up to a month to have this type of promo and IIRC there's also an exchange that did this and its just a matter of days, that exchange gained a lot of traders.

It was launched early this first quarter of the year but I barely remember what's that exchange was.

This is what I meant also in that it's not enough to attract people. 0 fee that lasts for a short while, even a few months, is not worth the time to move over funds into a new exchange, where the liquidity is not so high and coins are few. By the time coins are listed and liquidity is high, the 0 fee is over and then you end up with just the same costs as on another exchange.

So in the end, it's marketing, but can't be sustainable
9674  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: Is Delta going to die? on: August 31, 2018, 10:30:14 AM
For some weeks, I have noticed that Delta does not show any tokens volume. Showing all zero, trade is not happening. Now is the delta going dead or is it being due to temporary problem?
I noticed it too, Etherdelta or Forkdelta doesn't showing some updates in their exchange, no trading volume, no movements on coins' prices, and no update on their social media sites on how they managed it. I think the exchange's management team are having some trouble to fix in their exchange site, that's why they are not showing us some informations.

I guess it's the death of decentralized exchanges, for the ones that tried to do on chain like Delta. Even though Ethereum can do many more transactions compared to Bitcoin, this is why dex cannot work on low tx capacity blockchains. Waves on the other hand so far no network problems but that's also because they have fewer tokens and some day when things pick up they might be the ones to have issues.

Dex must somehow learn to go off chain, this is all. Maybe Bitcoin and LN can provide a good platform for DEX on BTC network?
9675  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: Crypto-exchange without any fee - Is this Interesting? on: August 31, 2018, 09:14:22 AM
Honestly I don't really know what is so attractive with 0 fee. Most traders are probably like me, we trade Maximum 10 or 20 times a month, and then there are months when we don't trade at all.

Fees are already low 0.1%. If we do 100 trades in a year, ok that's 10% already. But seriously how many of us make 100 trades a year and and what total volume?

Of course it makes sense to save as much as you can. But if you have to buy some digital token to get 0 fees. Or you have to suffer low liquidity, bad customer service. Trust me, it's so not worth it.

If they do find out plagiarism then you cant do anything about it and as being said its ban-able offense into this forum.

Yes they can claim it with plagiarism however it will be just if they can provide some proofs like screenshot or whatever that can support the accusations. You know sometimes some managers were over powered their position to their participants with unjust treatment and sometimes even unfit can make them see fit.

So once and for all, this amazix accusation isn't prove to be one so just participate at your own risk.

I don't see the point of people banning something like plagiarism without proof. Do they earn more? No. The bounty allocation is fixed. So it doesn't matter if 10 or 1000 people earn it, they just get a bigger stake. And since the manager isn't the one earning, it's like on this forum. The managers cut out the cheaters and plagiarizers. They don't earn extra but they want the project they serve to get good value for bounty.

Every time in my experience I see people complain, it's because they got caught. I've participated in so many signature campaigns, and even have been warned by a manager once or twice to change how I post, so I change and improve and that's good. But I see people who complain and look myself, and see... they're claiming better quality than they have.

I've seen the bounty list where there are 10,000 people participating in just one program. Are they supposed to provide screenshots for all 10,000 people? You can see yourself in this forum, plagiarism is banned and there are no screenshots. It's just bad for quality of forum or project if people are just rewriting stuff or worse, copypasting.

Altcoins was made for the benefit of advance technologies around the world. it can be replaced by so more advance ideas or project so that it will be improve.

You're kidding. Or fantasizing. Altcoins were made for the benefit of advance technologies? Take a look around the altcoin Announcement threads. Take the first 20 you see.

99% are tokens with no technology. 0 technology. They're using Ethereum protocols and technology.

Even altcoins with their own blockchain and protocols aren't really any superior to Bitcoin. And that's proven when they start having problems, get 51% attacked... etc.
9679  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: PopCoin- The World's First Proof of Play Cryptocurrency - LAUNCHING NOW! on: August 30, 2018, 08:45:04 AM
OP you should update us here on the game. A few of us are curious, but naturally want to learn more about how the game works before trying it. FOMO3d ended and had the second round started a few days ago so I guess the lesson is that it does work so the model can somehow apply, just to see now if it can be sustainable. Popcoin model sounded good on paper too but if you can share statistics and all that, we can learn together.

Anybody won that first seeded round yet?

Hello Bitvest! Almost daily player here, just wanted to report that last month I made my first withdrawal and this is when I actually realized that BV is the only site I play at with instant withdrawal. As in, I requested a withdrawal, entered my password... next 2 seconds a TX id appeared.

Not saying this is better than other sites, but every other site I play at processes it quickly too, but have to wait maybe 5 or 10 mins before I see tx id.

Our thread here needs to show how active the damn community on bv really is. Love you all!
