^  That used to be what I was thinking.  But now, seeing that Chelsea is rebuilding under their new manager, it's better to sell Hazard now to get as much value they can now cos they are gonna lose him in the future  anyway (and for less)...

Hazard could be thinking how wrong he was in choosing Chelsea over City when he came to the EPL from Ligue 1.  Lol.

This was even what I was thinking with Arsene Wenger. As in, not to sell him but how could Arsenal ever let him go? But that kind of thinking clouds judgment and if they had let him go a season earlier it could have been much better.

But sorry back to topic, what I'm saying is that Hazard appears to be their best player on paper. But if everything is constantly built around him, then rebuilding Chelsea might not work. And look already at how Sarri is giving players fresh leases on their playing careers.

So I agree. Sell Hazard now and get value for money. He's not someone who'll stay if Chelsea still can't compete.

First round of Fomo3D has ended, did you guys invest?? How do you guys feel !?

Wow, so it ended a lot sooner than I thought. What was the final numbers? The last time I checked it was more than $10 million worth of ETH but I can't recall what price that was or how many ETH. Ether has dropped in price since.

Current with pre-seed is 1.2 k ETH, and looks like there is also a quick round ending in 3 minutes with 0.13 ETH in the pot.

Always curious to see how people performed in this type of new smart contract gambling game.
Tried to find that Round 1 history but i cant find the exact number of ETH or pot and now they are in round 2 having an active Pot of 6,746.22 ETH which is really huge.
I didnt even expect that the 1st round already ended because on these kind of games this will push you through your limits  Grin

Yeah, this is why I still stay away from all these games. I haven't tried all the smart contract ones but similar games where there is a timer and you refresh the timer by betting more into it. I used to think ok if I have a big balance I can trick people, so I won a few but it dragged me in and I lost everything because a whale was waiting to trick me.

I also didn't think Round 1 would end so quickly. Guess the devs are now enjoying to the limits!

I would like to ask you to participate in any regular campaign?
 - I joined facebook and twitter and felt very little stake
 - So you can share what the campaign should do to get more stake
Thanks all.

Everything is poor value after a while, if they're only promotional and don't last long. Twitter, FB, I've completely ignored. I mean, let's face it, all your FB and Twitter followers, do you think they really care what you repost and share if you're doing 100 projects over 1 year? They all look the same to everyone, and offer extremely little incentive to click on and comment on.

Whereas on forums, people still can learn from the discussions. I can't measure how much I've learnt just by reading bitcointalk, but almost everything I know about crypto is from here. Projects, games, gambling, wallets. This is where the real value is to me.

Exbase.se advertised above the website is no longer valid, so I'm stuck for options.

You mean exba.se? It seems to work but those morons cheerfully admitted that dark market operators use their accounts and cards to cash out so they just painted a giant target on their own forehead.

Yeah exba.se. I tried the website and it is not working (for sale it says). But yeah okay dark market means I definitely can't use it. That was kind of idiotic to say so thanks for that heads up.

Cryptopay is associated with Russia.

Founder people of the Russia.
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1384807.msg44029378#msg44029378

Be careful.

I don't think that is fair to say. I know Russian operations are always associated with bad service and all that, and I know other associations with countries like India or Indonesia, and I know all these are true also, but I have good services with all of them. I use Waves now they are Russian and nothing wrong with them.

You just have to always be careful with any service. Mt Gox was Japanese run by Europeans. They also messed up. Just never trust exchanges, or any services, not fully with all your funds.
9705  Economy / Gambling / Re: BITDICE - 🎲🎲🎲 Treasure Chest Is Back! 🎰🎰🎰 on: August 24, 2018, 05:15:14 AM
ToS issue not fixed from my side, and yes I use Google Chrome. I only have 1 other browser and there is something wrong with it so I can't find out if it's a browser issue. I'm on office (mine but belongs to office) so can't install anything else.

Poker, sportsbook, whatever is added is for sure good for the site IF it is a good offering. I would play both. Poker is difficult to get right though, but I don't see it as competing interest for other games. I could bet sports, autobet dice a few rounds while waiting for poker rounds. Poker would keep you active on site actually.
9706  Economy / Exchanges / Re: List of bitcoin debit cards on: August 23, 2018, 10:18:47 AM

Just got forwarded here from another thread asking about virtual debit cards. And I'm curious about this Revolut which I keep seeing being mentioned, but on the website it seems you need a UK account to link everything up. Can anyone suggest something worldwide accepted, or at least for Asia? We have many virtual providers in India actually and even from before some countries like Indonesia but none of this work overseas, all for local merchants and with very low limits, which I have given up on.

Exbase.se advertised above the website is no longer valid, so I'm stuck for options.
9707  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Any VIRTUAL Bitcoin Debit Card Provider in 2018? on: August 23, 2018, 09:17:22 AM
Thank you OP for asking this question. I'm not sure if people realized but OP was asking for a VIRTUAL card provider. Most of the examples provided as I know it are talking about physical debit/credit cards, the plastic ones which they send to you. Virtual also usually means you can use once and dispose, which is also something I really want need.

I have a bad experience of using a card TWO times and it was stolen or hacked from the site that I used it at later on. So hard to fight with the bank that I didn't spend all my cards halfway across the world. With virtual cards, use once, throw away so even if stolen, nothing happens.

9709  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Bitcoin - a financial pyramid: true or myth? on: August 23, 2018, 07:06:42 AM
Unfortunately, the time to start convincing people as to whether its a pyramid or not is over. No matter his much some people have been preached to about religion or God, they still hold the view strongly that its a myth and exist in the figment of those believers imagination. Whether that is true or not does not matter to them. The point of this is that, whatever you believe to be true remains true and whatever you chose to believe as myth would remain so, for every argument to prove otherwise, you come with a counter argument to maintain your position. Its that simple.

Let's stop trying to convince frantically and start moving towards adoption to the vast majority of people who have not heard about it as they are easily convinced than those who have taken a stand already. In a matter of years, the "unbelievers" of would be so small that their opinion won't matter any longer.

You're right here. There's no convincing of either side in Bitcoin. No turning over people, no bringing them the truth, no matter how hard you try, people's minds were already made up a long time ago. And don't believe it when you see people like Jamie Dimon or Warren Buffet change their minds.

They have been misleading people from the very beginning with their words, getting the desired effect so they can move the money in and out of Bitcoin whenever the price fits their mood. If it doesn't fit, they say something to make it fit.
9710  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: The market is falling sharply on: August 23, 2018, 05:57:27 AM
If you have to ask, OP, then the best advice for you is to stay away. People have been buying several times throughout the year and every time the prices just seem to get worse for altcoins.

If you really want, and don't mind waiting for a few years for things to recover, fine. And if you can't survive coins losing 90% of value, then stick to Bitcoin for the meanwhile.

Whatever it is, don't think you're getting in now and mooning in a few months. Just not gonna happen.
9711  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Bitcoin is back on: August 23, 2018, 05:33:19 AM
Bitcoin is currently pumping could this be just a hype or this the next wave that will pull the market back from the current bearish track that we experience. Price pumped to 6750 USD from 6400. We can see an identical increase with other altcoins too. Your ideas are welcome?
Although Bitcoin has risen today, many are still skeptical about the pump as there is not any news that the BTC price will increase. I think tomorrow will be clearer as the SEC can accept ETF in this market and we can see a new future for the Cryptocurrency market. Right now we should hope for more and wait for SEC nod
Congratulations, i just have answer for that. So bitcoin is back to its red candle stick and holding its resistance at around 6400 US dollars, with how things goes looks like another dump will follow. My guess is we are about to end this month with red candles.

Exactly what has been happening this whole year seems to be falling into pattern again. People think it's over and Bitcoin is back and then it only takes some dumb ETF decision probably nobody even knew or cared about a few months ago, and then prices dip again. ETF rejected so what, right? It's not like we weren't expecting it. Isn't the SEC supposed to be rejecting everything anyway? And so what if they do, so what if they don't? Why should we care? Anyone can buy Bitcoin with or without SEC.
9712  Economy / Gambling / Re: Bitcasino.io - LIES, LIES & LIES * Uncensored thread on: August 22, 2018, 10:08:28 AM
@ micromen

Here is the definition for payment

Definition payment: Compensation, discharge or performance of an obligation, or reimbursement, by giving over something that is of satisfactory value to its recipient, such as money.

A payment requires the obligation to pay. The obligation to pay for services or products delivered requires a legally binding agreement between the parties.

But as Game Protect does not make contracts, the required obligation to call something a payment does simply not exist and you are a blatant liar trying to mislead the bitcointalk gambling community with your baseless nonsense! Roll Eyes

A payment requires the obligation to transfer something from A) to B).

If I have Bitcoin in my wallet and do not transfer them to someone else, then they are no payment and also no form of payment.

Even if I transfer Bitcoin to someone else accidentally or willingly as a gift or donation it is not a payment.

Ok, so that means you will work without payment then, yes?

If so, I'll definitely let everyone know in services that there is a gentleman willing to pursue any gambling company legally for ABSOLUTELY ZERO COST/PAYMENT!

I'm sure many will jump on that. Just let me know, I'll spread the word Smiley

Please don't spread the word... this guy is quite famous already in this forum and he has a lot of time on his hands. Sometimes I feel he has a point, but even when he does, his methods don't seem to be favorable in bringing desired action. I find that being rational and factual and leaving out all the inflammatory commenting gets things done better faster easier.

Of course, the forum is all about free speech which is why he is allowed to continue. But let us not encourage it.
9713  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: PopCoin- The World's First Proof of Play Cryptocurrency - LAUNCHING NOW! on: August 22, 2018, 06:59:25 AM
Hmm, I had to wait to finish work and still got a few hours left at office after all. But it seems the game has not launched at all? I see 0 ETH, and it says if game ends now there is 0 ETH, so I guess something didn't work out. No seed or players that I can see. Shame, maybe the launch is delayed, should have done this on Friday evening or on the weekend I think Smiley

We actually did have a launch last night with some play, by any chance do you not have Metamask installed with the browser you're trying to access the game with? Probably needed to make this point more often that Metamask is necessary to interact with the contract through the browser.

Ah, so that was the problem. Yes I did have Metamask installed it is on my Chrome, but I did not sign in. Usually it should automatically alert me if I go to a site that needs metamask, and then I will be asked to sign in but it seemed not to have worked at the time.

Anyway, another day of work for me let me see if I still have time to enter the first round. Probably too late for me by then though.
9714  Economy / Gambling / Re: LandSecrets - A blockchain based predicted mining game on: August 21, 2018, 09:19:05 AM
No faucet, no bitcoin...no dice...

You should get shapeshift to handle swaps from BTC to ETH (like so many do) if want any love on the bitcointalk forum...

It does look interesting though, will give you that, just can't do anything with it.

Sorry OP but this is the truth. While there is a growing Ethereum community of people who love to gamble ETH on smart contract games, that's still a niche that common and typical gamblers on this forum (like me!) won't really want to try. Most of our funds are in Bitcoin, and if we want to cash out, Bitcoin is the way.

This is after all a Bitcoin forum. The Shapeshift idea is okay too, but we lose funds just changing.

Very interesting yes, but as long as we're required to access via a wallet and on Ether, very few people from here will try it.

9716  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread (EPL) on: August 21, 2018, 07:00:10 AM
Liverpool seem to be the only one at the moment able to chase Manchester City but I'm not sure about how long they can last. Did you see that all the players were running so fast and hard and then they tired down towards the end? Not sure if they can keep doing that for 36 more games plus cup and champions league. They have a lot of backup now so maybe no problem but City have even more replacements!
9717  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Cloudbet's English Premier League Football Pool Discussion Thread on: August 20, 2018, 07:17:18 AM
LOL 28 users predicted a Man Utd win, only two predicted a Brighton win...and here I though we all lost that one. @hilariousandco no longer at the top of the league  Shocked Good job, @slaman29

Not a bad weekend for me, I think I got top 10 secured until next week even if I don't get the Liverpool - Crystal Palace result right.

On the plus side, Aguero's hat trick got my fantasy football team a nice few points.
Fun fact: Aguero is now the 2nd player with the most hat-tricks in the EPL, first is the legend Alan Shearer.

Thank you! I just didn't like how Mourinho has been putting his team out and I thought they would have a tough away game especially with Sanchez injured. It's a shame I didn't bet on the game, it seems only 2% people predicted the upset. Whoever predicted 3-2 is amazing, United don't easily let in three goals, and Brighton don't easily score 3 goals!

We have quite a few gamblers I can see in our pool haha I see 1 person bet a City draw in our pool. Who is Sojourner? He is predicting too many upsets.

So far mostly predictable results, so those of us who didn't take too much risk are on top.

I’ve had an absolute stinker of a weekend in round 2’s fixtures. Need to do much better next weekend.
Gone for C Palace 1-3 Liverpool tomorrow.

I go again for 4-0, this will be harder for being away, but I like how they are on form and playing just like they did last season. I'm neutral in English football but hard not to like Liverpool, even their players are nice people.

9718  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: PopCoin- The World's First Proof of Play Cryptocurrency - LAUNCHING 8/21! on: August 20, 2018, 06:14:26 AM
Also just wanted to remind everyone, PopCoin will be launching in a little more then 24 hours!

The first game will be seeded with 2 ETH so make sure to get there early. Very excited for the launch and looking forward to a great game!

OK sounds good, like I said never tried this game before or anything like it always a bit curious since there's the gambler in me! Still not 100% sure of how it's played but I guess I don't mind risking a few dollars for the experience. If I'll put anything into it I'll be a few hours late though. It's around 10am my time I get lunch break maybe 3 hours after the game starts.

Will you be seeding anymore of this yourself or playing it yourself? The reason I stay way usually is that I don't dare fight the whales Wink
9719  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Would you still support Ethereum, if Vitalik left it? on: August 20, 2018, 04:57:58 AM
I think anyone who joins projects because of the person has to be flawed in judgement. I'm the first to say here that I really liked Charlie Lee and Litecoin, and possibly followed Litecoin development a lot because of him. He has far vision, he has patience, he is kind and he is funny.

I like Vitalik lately too, not before, but these days he is not such an idiot.

I bought LTC not because of Charlie Lee, I bought ETH even though I didn't think much of Vitalik.

Will I stop or change my mind if either left? Of course not.
9720  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What is happening to XRP price? Is Ripple going to recover? on: August 19, 2018, 12:57:47 PM
Did you see XRP rise 30% out of no where the other day?  You bet your bottom dollar when this boat turns around we will be going straight to 3 dollars.  This is the bankers coin.  It will win in the end.

I really hate to say this, but you're probably right. I myself bout some Ripple but purely for speculation. Totally missed the ATH, bought in below $1 thinking it must at least get back to ATH. Of course now it is all in terrible losses but I bought in almost at each new low except the latest.

The bankers remember use its technology and not its token (XRP) so they may not necessarily care about XRP price. But they will want to make it ATH just one more time before moving on. This is what we will be waiting for.
