9721  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: BTC-e.com down ! Police detains the owner . on: August 01, 2017, 12:08:03 AM
"For all those who buried us, I will remind you that the service has always worked on trust and we are ready to answer for it. The funds will be returned to everyone!" - BTC-e.com. Fight the tptb!!

Im just wondering how come they can give back all the funds to the traders and investors where one of the owner was connected with the Mt.gox. Im just hoping that they will really give it back to the investors and traders.
Well, btc-e claims that Alexander Vinnik isn't owner of exchange and he never was. Seems legit.
Don't think BTC-e will be back anytime soon. This is posted on their website now

Basicly, is it means that all bitcoins from btc-e was stolen by US government? What they will do with all these btc? I expect that users will not get their money back :/
Sometimes USA goes to far by being world cop.
9722  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Are You A Sellout (Or Did You Hodl)? on: July 31, 2017, 11:48:43 PM
Tell me at least one serious reason why I would have to sell my btc? Contrary, if I had money in reserve, I would buy more bitcoins. Now I'm hodling all my bitcoins. I'm absolutely calm about that. Offcourse, I withdrawn all my bitcoins from exchanges to receive Bitcoin Cash. Hope also to get benefits from BCC in short term Smiley
9723  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Motosport General discussion tread --- Formula1, MotoGP, WTCC, ETCC, DTM..... on: July 31, 2017, 11:25:56 PM
Despite Vettel lead, I'm still seeing Hamilton as favorite to win championship. After summer break we will have 2 gp's in fast tracks, which is better for Meecedes. Next good track for Ferrari is Singapore.
Anyway, this season is hardly predictable and it makes more interesting to watch.
P.S It was really nice to see that Hamilton given back third position to Bottas in last GP. I expected that he will find thousands reasons why he should stay in 3rd place.
9724  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do I need to worry about my bitcoin holding after August 1st? on: July 31, 2017, 11:12:50 PM
OP, if you are worried only about your BTC savings, you can keep calm, there are no danger to your bitcoins. Your bitcoins are safe as long as you have private keys.

I had some on Yobit. received my bcc a few hours ago. i believe yobit will support btc and bcc.

Did you have it already? It did not split yet, it is still 31. Or did you bought BCC in anticipation? If you did, good luck, I hope people don't dumped on your bcc.
All users who had Bitcoins on Yobit already received Bitcoin Cash on 1:1 ratio few hours ago. Hope they will not put BCC wallet on maintenance, lol.
9725  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Cash is the real Bitcoin. SegWit is the AltCoin. on: July 31, 2017, 10:53:47 PM
If you so optimistic about Bitcoin Cash, exchange all your BTC to Bitcoin Cash after fork to show your support to real bitcoin!
Who cares which one is the "real" Bitcoin? I want the best Bitcoin. After years of argument, we shall soon find out which one is best.
Who cares. Yes WHo cares. Only greedy who cares. BTC is BTC. " Correct" BCC isn't BTC. The middle abbrevation is C not T. Everyone know BTC. Ask exchangers to accept BCC if they will in your country to change with fiat. I think their prefer BTC and reject BCC. It means BCC is worthless.
Exactly! BTC will always remain BTC, not BCC or BCH. By miners, business and people support, Bitcoin remain to be Bitcoin and Bitcoin Cash is just an altcoin.
9726  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I am against Bitcoin Cash and here is why on: July 31, 2017, 10:35:14 PM
I'm not supporting BCC ideas, mainly because of centralization, but I think that they have right to exist. People will show what they think about this coin and where is the place of BCC. If BCC will be dumped by BTC supporters, what is most likely will happen, it will be just failed attempt to create rival to bitcoin. And after few years mostly of will forget about Bitcoin Cash.

9728  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: rocketbitco.in ,CoinFast.Win SCAMS & ALL Other BTC SCAM sites. on: July 31, 2017, 04:21:50 PM
These aren't scams. I'm always getting paid from these faucets. Yes, now it's empty, but give them some time to refill their faucet ballance.
9729  Economy / Gambling / Re: FreeBitco.in - Win free Bitcoins every hour! on: July 31, 2017, 10:52:19 AM
It's epic. I've never been so close to the jackpot. I had rolled 00002 several times earlier and now 00001. If I had a bit more luck, now I would enjoy my $150 prize Cheesy

Firstly, if you want to improve user experience, you need to remove autoplay videos. I agrew with post above that may shock users who have max volume. And also, some people may not like your music taste Smiley
Now about payments. 20k satoshi treshold and payments to Xapo doesn't sounds very good. I think it would be better to lower treshold or remove it at all. And it would be good to allow users to choose, how to get paid. Not all people using Xapo, give them analtetnatives.

I second the quoted post above... I find it very annoying when websites autoplay videos or sounds - the decision of whether content is played should be left to the user. If I'm having a bad day, I'll just exit the browser tab the site is in instantly.
Oh, did I really writted word which you bolded? It looks that I have to check my text more carefully before posting to avoid such typing mistakes :/
OP website is old and I remember he was asked to remove autoplay videos many times. But he didn't reacted to users suggests.
9731  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: Will I automatically receive bitcoin cash on blockchain.info? on: July 31, 2017, 12:03:52 AM
You can look at Blockchain.info CEO tweet: https://twitter.com/OneMorePeter/status/891406518561669122?p=v
This everything what they said about fork and you can interpret his words how do you want. It looks that you don't get Bitcoin Cash on blockchain.info automatically and you may need to make few additional steps to receive Bitcoin Cash. In your place, I would move my bitcoins out from Blockchain.nfo. You still have some time to do it.
9732  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Amazing Support for Bitcoin Cash! on: July 30, 2017, 11:54:21 PM
Exchanges

ViaBTC
OKCoin
OKEx
Bithumb
BTCBOX
MercuryCash
Huobi
Kraken
Coinfloor
Bitfinex
Bitcoins Norway
BitGrail
QuoinExchange
Korbit
QuadrigaCX
BTCpop
HitBTC
MercadoBitCoin
Toubi
the only decent exchange in this list is Kraken.
the rest of them are either too small or are too unknown to be considered.
there are also a couple of known names there that have no support for BCC and they have only said "we are watching things and may or may not add it in the future" you are taking this "may" as their support Cheesy

Quote
Freewallet
Coinomi
i am hearing 2 new names i have never heard before!

Are you seriously saying that only decent exchange here is Kraken? How about Bithumb (Korea's largest exchange), Bitfinex, Bitrex (which isn't mentioned here. Maybe look at their trading volumes before calling tham as small and unknown exchanges.
And also, Coinomi and Freewallet.org is popular multi coins wallets for smartphones.
9733  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Cash! Dead on Arrival? on: July 30, 2017, 11:27:11 PM
So far I didn't decided what I will do with my BCC, sell it after I get it, or hold. I'm afraid that it will be dumped, people just will sell their free coins. But on the other hand, I believe that Bitcoin Cash have enough support to not get dumped instantly. I have some fears about what will happen, but anyway, I don't have anything to loose.
9734  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: [Unofficial] Coinpot.co - new microwallet on: July 30, 2017, 11:02:58 AM
Do we get equivalent BCC satoshis for holding our BTC satoshis in Coinpot? I know we get it on Freebitcoin but I don't remember seeing anything about this on the Moon, Bit and Bonus faucets.
They didn't announced anything about it. So, I think it means that after fork we will have only BTC. If you want get BCC, you have to withdraw bitcoins from Coinpot to your bitcoin wallet.
EDIT; just saw their message about fork:
Quote

As you may be aware there is a (small) possibility of an imminent hard fork on the Bitcoin network. In order to protect your funds, we have taken the following steps with immediate effect and until further notice...

All withdrawals are suspended. You can continue to request withdrawals, but these will not be processed until we are sure that the network is stable.
Deposits will not be credited to your account until they have 6 confirmations on the blockchain (usually we only wait for 1 confirmation)

PLEASE NOTE: The best thing you can do to protect your bitcoin during this time period is to not send or move your BTC. We HIGHLY recommend all Bitcoin holders not send bitcoin to any CoinPot deposit address, or any other service, until those service providers have indicated that the network(s) are stable.

If you require more information please contact us at support@coinpot.co

9736  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: Bitcoin earning site. More than 300 faucets (BTC, DOGE, DASH, BLK) on: July 30, 2017, 12:22:16 AM
Moonbit.co.in  is under direct payments list, but I think it pays to a microwallet?
If you don't link your Moonbitco.in account with Coinpot.co, you will receive direct payment to your wallet as it was always.

You sure bout that?
"As of 6th July 2017 ALL payments from Moon Bitcoin are made instantly and directly into your CoinPot account.
This includes faucet claims, referral commission and survey/offer earnings."

You may be, I haven't used it in a while, just checking.
Yes, I'm sure. Quote from their page;

If you are happy to continue receiving free weekly payouts direct to your wallet as before then YOU DO NOT NEED TO DO ANYTHING
Moonbit Ballance are shown on Coinpot website, but I'm receiving automatic weekly payouts, because my Moonbit.co.in account isn't linked to my Coinpot account.

9739  Other / Meta / Re: Required Minimum Post of a Signature Campaign should not allow too! on: July 29, 2017, 11:22:17 PM
First of all, I think that main problem of campaign management. If manager accepts shitposts, any rules can't help to reduce spam.
If campaign have fixed rates and they require to make 20-25 posts weekly, users don't need to spam. As other already said, Fortunejack campaign users have to spam in gambling board to get payment.
But anyway, users in pay per post campaigns also makes spam, because many people always trying to reach maximum allowed posts to get biggest possible payment.
I'm saying that only good management of campaign can minimize spam. Lauda's Bitmixer wasn't perfect, because there was some users spamming, but still, it was one of campaigns, which was managed as it should be.
9740  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Question about BTC, BCC And Exchanges on: July 29, 2017, 10:28:32 PM
From what i understood bitfinex going to support BCC,
My question is, if i will upload BTC to Bitfinex, and then return the BTC to my local wallet, will the BCC stay on the exchange?

 Huh
Thanks

The same thing also felt, any sense I felt
I want to deposit some of my btc on exchange, to get bcc
But there is a fear of missing his btc

Isn't simpler just to keeep Bitcoins on wallet, where you got access to private keys if you want to get BCC after fork? If you are worried, I think it's safer way to keep bitcoins, especially if you don't have 100% trust in exchange.
