What I may infer from the replies is that mostly people think gambling is a disease, but it is easier to cure it than drug addiction. I understand that drugs influence human organism physically, so they really cause some changes in it. Gambling doesn't influence people in such a way. But it still influences minds, doesn't it? A person feels like he/she can win and keeps losing. Maybe, drugs change the mind even less than gambling, because they rather effect the body. Then what is more harmful: mental addiction or physical one?

Bitcoin can help those countries which mostly have access to the Internet and very low salaries. In my country an average salary is about 150$ (well, it is actually above average). And for such money you have to work for 6-8 hours 5 days per week. Considering this I must say that working for a signature campaign, for example, you can earn nearly a salary and work a lot less than even 6 hours per day.

lost of people invested in this cryptocurrency ( bitcoin ).. if ur talking about trust indeed btc is trustworthy.. the blockchain cant be hacked or manipulated by just anyone..
Yes, I agree that bitcoin in unhackable, so in this way it is trustworthy. However, there is a problem with its changes in price. One day bitcoin was less than a dollar, and some time later it cost a thousand. If we consider this huge unstability, we can say that bitcoin is not something we can trust.

I think that even if a person has cheap electricity it is still not really a good investment. Miners cost quite a lot. And they need some details fixed from time to time. Yet they are likely to break completely after half a year. So I guess only mining farms are beneficial, not someone's few miners. Of course, it also depends on a bitcoin price. If it rises than even buying one miner might be a good investment.

I am not really a gambler but I heard about people who can't quit it and keep losing lots of money. Do you think the attitude to gambling addiction should be the same as to drug addiction? Should the government forbid gambling and treat somehow those who are addicted? Or maybe it should be left up to an adult? I mean, should people decide on their own whether they need to gamble or not. What do you think?

I am looking for dice site with bonus.(deposit or reload bonuses)
I am not sure if I properly understood what you meant but if you are talking about some extra money you can get then I want to mention that Primedice has bots giving such bonuses to players from time to time. However, I don't think it is profitable to gamble anyway. I am quite sure no bonuses can cover the losses.

The great advantage of bitcoin is that it is quite a universal currency which can be carried everywhere by a person in his phone or computer. However, the unstability of bitcoin, I think, is a serious obstacle on its way of becoming an international currency. People usually seek for something reliable and can't give it for something floating. That is why I think bitcoin will never be such a currency.

I must admit that I didn't know about scamming in cloud mining before I read other replies on this post. If a friend of mine decided to invest money in such a thing, I'll mention some unpleasant situations he might face and will ask him to read some information on this website: https://www.weusecoins.com/avoid-bitcoin-cloud-mining-scams/. And yet it is his money and every business involves a great risk, so let it be his way. By the way, aren't there famous cloud mining companies people trust? I mean, companies which passed the test of time?

I do not consider myself as a real gambler but Primedice seems to be the best site for me. I think the bets there are really random and I like this autobet thing. Oh, and don't forget the bots which send you some money from time to time ![Wink](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/wink.gif)

I will hope that it is impossible to trade bitcoin for cash for some time only. I'll just wait until it ends up. However, if at that time I have a great amount of money in bitcoin, I'll buy Amazon gift card (I hope it is possible) and use it to get anything I'll need at that time. I hope such thing will never happen to bitcoin, though.

o does anyone have an idea on how I could draw a random number and prove every one it was a true random unique draw and not my 56th try to draw my number?
At least you can tell the time when you will do the randomizing and also recorda video starting at that time. I saw many people doing such things for lotteries. As for the idea of such a lottery - I think it will be interesting for many people and can even encourage some new to use Bitcoin and become members of Bitcointalk forum, so good luck ![Wink](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/wink.gif)

I think to encourage people to use bitcoin someone has to make comics about it to explain the pros and cons. I suppose the problem that people don't know and use bitcoin well can be solved by some interesting way of introducing the information about it.

with math and correct formulas we can even predict gambling bets
Well, I can't agree with this one. It is possible to count the probability of something but you can never know for sure what the result will be like. That is why I am pretty sure nobody can hack bitcoin with the help of a calculator or computer nowadays. I think it is only potentially possible with the help of a quantum computer but we will understand whether such a computer can end encryption only in the future.
|
|
|
As far as I understand, there is some kind of a prototype of a real quantum computer, but there is still no such thing that can solve tasks extremely fast. So, basically, nowadays bitcoin is not in danger. If scientists succeed in this project completely, then cryptocurrencies will die. However, I am not sure if it is so. Can't someone develop something more complicated? Something hard enough for a quantum computer? Or is it really impossible?

I think that future of bitcoin is basically, conquering the world of online payments. We won't use banks networks, no bank transfers- only bitcoin payments, it will be faster and cheaper i guess ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif) Bitcoin will be the best for online payments, but also there will be banks network/bank tranfer. Not every people will use bitcoin I agree that not everyone will start using bitcoin. Some people like anonymity and others prefer to have everything under someone's control and need some guarantees.

It will be a huge lost for them if bitcoins drop half of its price, bitcoin is unpredictable if amazon want to accept bitcoin they should have an experience trader for them to get the best exchange possible from the bitcoins earned from selling.
That seems reasonable, but are there actually many people who will use btc on Amazon? I mean, I don't think that btc price changes will effect the amount of money company earns in a noticable way.
