9741  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Martingale and Roulette on: August 15, 2018, 07:52:34 AM
Hi guys is there anyone knowing anything about Martingale strategy? I'm new on it and i'd like to start to use it in online roulettes. Do u think that it worth trying using it if my budget is roughly 2k£? I found this guide https://casino.guru/roulette-scam-strategies and they say it's better not to use it; but i have friends who won real money thanks to that.
Can anyone giving me any further info about? Thanks very much  Smiley Smiley Smiley Smiley
I wouldn't even think of using that strategy in any type of game. There was a thread about Martingale strategy and you can read from there different experience of different gamblers who tried to use Martingale strategy in different games. Bottom line, it didn't work. They ended up losing. Remember, it's a game of chance, no strategy can beat that or else it will be a game of strategies.

It was pointed out that this strategy can be useful not to WIN much but to make sure your playing time is longer, for example to eat up wagering requirements or to build up wager amounts for loyalty programs and I agree here.

For example, if you have enough bankroll to make 15x streaks martingale, you can set it autobet to maximum 8 times loss, and just keep using that strategy to build up your wagers. This can be to get/activate a bonus or to just build up points. If you take into account cashback it all adds up.

If you are lucky, you end up even with small profit from the bonus. If you are playing on normal luck, you can finish the bankroll, but it is sort of an investment to get higher levels or have.

Well I got 4 right out of 5 tonight yay  Cheesy MOL Vidi missed a penalty and Malmo couldn't find the net with 10 goal attempts what a bummer though. By the way guys tomorrow is the UEFA Super Cup match between Real Madrid and Atletico Madrid. Just a little reminder to get your bets in. Cheers!  Wink

Thanks for reminding me, I forgot all about it. No more Ronaldo, the bane of Athletico Madrid, but step in Gareth Bale. Also no more Zinedine Zidane. New era, new luck? They have not beaten Athleti for 10 games in a row now, so looks like could be good to take Athletico +0.5 for this match. But then they won against them all the time in champions league so it's strange how it works.

Griezmann and Bale should hit 1 goal each, so maybe over 2.5 goals is also favorable.

9743  Economy / Gambling / Re: Overview of Active Casino/Dice Sites Accepting BTC on: August 15, 2018, 05:18:44 AM
Ah saw that you added GoUP, and guess what, I forgot I had an account there already, must have signed up when they announced and only played there a few times. Come to think of it now, if I look in my email, I see so much spam from casinos I signed up for. Some spam I don't mind, because I'm active and like the bonuses and offers. Mostly are just repetitive or offering bonuses I will never take, sorry but I don't think 100% bonus and free spins with 35x wager is very interesting.

Anyway, one more thing to add is invest option. Something some players like. BTC invest option is popular and helps bankrolls get bigger, so bigger payouts and jackpots.
9744  Economy / Gambling / Re: BETKING: What Happened to the 50 BTC Jackpot? Was It Just A Fraud? on: August 14, 2018, 07:10:47 AM
so, to win the jackpot you have to roll 55.555 twice in a row? That is about 1/100,000 x 1/100,000 = 1/10,000,000,000 or 1 in 10 billion chance of happening.  And betting 1,000 sats, I guess it is unlikely anyone ever won it, if someone did they would notify I'm sure.

Also, I don't think it's surprising to see new casinos have bankroll from "500 BTC, over 2250 ETH and over 425 LTC". In fact, to my eyes, that's not enough of a bankroll at all.
9745  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Tipster picks service discussion ( profit +2132 EURs ) on: August 14, 2018, 05:25:11 AM
haven't posted last week stats but I'm not having any free time to do the calcualtions , so next update will be on Sunday and it will have 2 weeks stats
it was a horrible week in general and probably lost over 1000 euros , so I'm facing a swing with the guys that I follow especially horse racing tipsters
hope this will be turned around by Sunday but I guess I may need 2 or 3 weeks to recover what I lost in the last week

Hello SyGambler, I forgot all about the question I asked in this thread before, which you replied to. I asked first if it was enough to have 0.01 gambling bankroll and I was very interested in horse gambling. You replied back and sorry I am now too lazy to go back and quote Wink but you mentioned that you need 200 units. Can I assume you mean unit can be anything I want it to be and this just means when you bet, you use unit and not $? I think the minimum bet on my side for sports is 0.0001 so that means I have 100 units at 0.01 right?

Now, football season has started, is it also safe to say 200 units or 0.02 BTC is good for football?
9746  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Four reasons that cryptocurrencies will revolutionize the online casino industry on: August 14, 2018, 05:12:35 AM
Don't know about crypto, but Bitcoin has ALREADY revolutionized online gambling. It is just that not everybody has joined the revolution while during the time, every other altcoin only joined in.

One more thing that makes Bitcoin/crypto so good for online gambling, besides all the points already brought up, is the fact that you can gamble and win so much money. To win the same amount of money offline, would take hours, if not day.
9747  Other / Archival / Re: *KOMOBIT* is looking for beta testers - help us and get your reward on: August 13, 2018, 09:58:22 AM
Veleten: that 10 times roll of yours was also verifiable you said? That's a real concern for the developers and probably they should make that their number 1 priority right now because 10 numbers all turning up the same and yet still provably verifiable means that something is seriously broken. To me it seems like so anyway.

Faucet still isn't really working for me as it should. I get 300 satoshis in my balance when I request but the notification either shows a different number or just doesn't show at all. Anyway, keep testing. I haven't seen a new dice site this active so let's see.

faucet is working and it gives out 0.020003 at the moment for me,yesterday it was 0.01+300 satoshi I think
when you claim, your balance doesn't update automatically only a pop up window appears
you have to refresh the page to see the balance, should be fixed in beta as well
ran autobet for a while, everything seems to be working as it is supposed to-busted pretty quick on a relatively safe strat haha

I thought I'd give it another whirl but seems that the old problems haven't been fixed. Probably best to just leave it for a while til the developer finds time to recode and fix those bugs. OP, let us know when we're ready to face on a new "challenge" of finding more bugs or whatever.

The visual details and buggy displays are okay, but yes, the provably fair aspect really must be taken care of. Don't want to get accused of having a algorithm that doesn't work.
9748  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: 2 Ethereum or 15 NEO for long term on: August 13, 2018, 07:12:32 AM
Even if we compare how many % of price those coins lost this year - we will see that ETH is stronger than NEO, so in my opinion ETH is more preferable.

Oh wow, I had no idea NEO had fallen so much. Everybody thought it was the cool shit and now it's below $20? That's barely 15% of it's ATH. At least ETH still can sort of hold on to above 20%.

And XRP? I never thought I'd see it below 30 cents again so quickly. Alt season is just so plentiful, I keep adding, but the prices keep getting better. Or is this just the beginning of a huge huge drop?
9749  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: What do you think about the decentralized exchanges? Any good or bad experience? on: August 13, 2018, 06:05:33 AM
I used to HATE Decentralized exchanges solely because I wasn’t used to them. Now that I’ve traded on numerous ones and gotten more comfortable with it. The thing is, big centralized ones are definitely more convenient for deposits and withdrawals, but other than that nothing is super different.

Then you have never tried to trade one of the pairs on let us say Waves dex haha Wink

Except for Bitcoin of course, you can cry just waiting weeks for your order to fill, if ever. I have some tokens before, that you will be lucky to have more than 2 or 3 orders and the spread between buy and sell is just horrendous. You can even eat up the orders with 0.1 BTC and the price will go crazy. This isn't the direct fault of dex of course, just that so few people use some of them.
9750  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Cloudbet's English Premier League Football Pool Discussion Thread on: August 13, 2018, 05:48:39 AM
Wow our captain really took his A game with him. I thought I had a good chance of winning the yellow cap but I went for a "shock" predictions for the remaining 2 games. I thought surely this week 1 must have at least 1 upset. Like Trofo said, this week was rather "easy", just a matter of who predict exact scores. Results all went the favorites' way, no big upsets over the 10 games.

A lot of teams failed to score, which is not what I expected too. Normally many goals and both sides scoring in English games lately.
9751  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: What do you think about the decentralized exchanges? Any good or bad experience? on: August 12, 2018, 10:26:17 AM
The most obvious benefit of using a decentralized exchange through a centralized location is their "reliable" nature. You do not have to rely on the security or honesty of the conversation because of the money you keep in your wallet, not by the third party.
When you exchange not rely on third party, the risk you hacked will be 0. But nothing is absolutely safe.

But if you read the responses above, then you realize that actually you still have to rely on these decentralized exchanges. OK, the great thing and the best thing is that you are in control of your funds. This is something you win with dex over centralized exchanges any day. But dex still host their systems that they control, and you have to rely on that. I am actually a big Waves supporter but on more reading now, it appears that their order books could still be manipulated by Waves if they wanted to, because the software and the server is still controlled by them. I trust them, but if they were true decentralization, they wouldn't require us to trust them.

9752  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: PopCoin- The World's First Proof of Play Cryptocurrency - 2 ETH FREE! on: August 12, 2018, 09:55:30 AM
Thanks for your feedback! After collecting some additional last minute input we decided there were a few small features that should be added to the contract. Everything is in place now and we're just going through the final testing stages, feel optimistic for a launch early next week.

Regarding your point about rake, we agree 3% in a vacuum would seem high, but keep in mind the majority of this rake doesn't go to the game or the developers, it goes back to the players.

Because of this players, especially early players, have an interest in and benefit from a healthy rake. We're intending to launch with the percentage of PopCoins the developers mine (and thus percent of rake they're entitled to) set to 30%. This number is set in the contract itself and can possibly decrease but can never increase.

So: 3% * 0.3 = a total of a 0.9% rake for the game/developers which we think is very reasonable and below most dice sites or other popular forms of crypto gaming. The remaining rake the players are entitled to and can redeem their PopCoins for at any time. This is all enforced through the contract itself, no trust is required of us at any time.

Hope that answers your questions, and we'll keep working on the design too Smiley

Thank you for responding, I was hoping you would, because I looked at your pitch and it looks like time was invested in there. Do make sure you give people like us some lead time before you launch, since we are all clearly interested and would like to play when they game is up.

Now that the rake is explained you are right. Just below 1% for developers is very fair.

I have 1 question: what if all popcoins are mined and nobody ever wants to claim the rake? Is this possible as from what I am reading it almost seems likely everybody will just try to mine popcoins til they are gone, and then nobody wants to claim, there is nothing worth left to mine, won't nobody want to play?
9753  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: winter is coming. on: August 12, 2018, 09:23:32 AM
It is natural that many are choosing to leave this market, since most of those who are involved in it are people without much previous experience in matters related to technology or investments, and decided to get involved with the cryptocurrencies moved by the speculative wave of 2017, and realizing that the gains would not come as easy as they supposed, they have chosen to recover some capital by selling their cryptos to continue their search in other areas.

Definitely agree here. This is a natural market condition. It happens in all markets and no more so than new ones. We have to remember that this market in particular is very different from just asset and commodity market. YES it has a price sentiment, and this is what is most obvious and what is on everybody's mind. So people leave when the price tells them it's over.

But on the other part is how the technology has not even been mass adopted. New. Fresh. And still so much development going on. Bear cycle for sure, but we only have to pull through it.
9754  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: We have to bring more money into the market on: August 12, 2018, 08:49:36 AM
They are playing us.  Why would they want things to be decentralized?   They are saying they are going to invest, to get people to go long on the market, while they make a ton on shorting it.  It seems about 70 billion has left the market in the last two weeks, all the time when the media was hyping about Wall Street money coming in.

We have to bring more money in, just like in the beginning.

They are playing us, that's for sure, decentralization has always been the enemy of banks and all these big players of the financial system. MONEY is also what they want and control, so don't worry they are already bringing it all in, you don't have to worry about it. They invested long before they said they would, and they will continue to milk their centralized systems, while guys like us and you buy into their centralized tokens.

The money that's left is all from us, too. The banks still have it in, they can make more anyway.
9755  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Invest in Ethereum on: August 11, 2018, 09:10:44 PM
Well, who would have thought ETH would go lower than $400? I got in late, and I thought that was the best time but looks like we're back again at extreme bargain rates. I'm really tempted to wait for even $250 and it looks possible the way alts are just unable to hold on to anything. Litecoin, Monero, ETH. All three are just unbelievably low and totally oversold. They're already so popular, it's hard not to see them go x2 in 2019.

Investment? Maybe? Usage, for sure. Exciting times for everyone who thought they missed the boat in 2017!
9756  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Cloudbet's English Premier League Football Pool Discussion Thread on: August 11, 2018, 08:10:09 PM
Slam point is awarded to the persons with the most correct scores in a single round of 10 games. It used to be 5 and up , but apparently it is being given even if you get less than that. For more you can see the explanation here.

https://www.superbru.com/news/introducing-the-slam-point?a=introducing-the-slam-point

No you get slam points for having 5 or more correct outcomes. Like I only got 2 exact scores correct but also 3 correct scores = 5 correct outcomes, so 1 slam point. 8-9 gets you 2 slam points. 10 gets you the most.

So I guess it is just to reward people who got a lot of correct outcomes (winner or draw) but keep getting the exact goals wrong.

Looks like I'm first place so far but still so early. I hate peaking early. hsports got THREE exact scores!

9758  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Do you believe that kucoin exchange is legit and not a scam? on: August 11, 2018, 06:05:30 AM
It's registered and legit, I've seen it already been covered in the news and they actually already had the regulators looking at them. So in terms of them being legal and having a real business, they are real. You can research them online and see yourself, if you don't believe,

This doesn't mean anything about whether or not their business is honest or transparent or whatever of course. Kind of like any business. They can still be bad or good, whether or not they have a license. It's just about the law. So don't take this as a recommendation.
9759  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: What happened to DASH on: August 10, 2018, 10:46:14 AM
Problem is, if you look at price and price alone, then you can come to unfair conclusions about practically any alt. Dash dropped off in price and top ranks: true. But have you been reading up in the news? Dash is one of the top coins out there creating adoption and they have been really campaigning big in some South American countries, apparently getting very popular use there. Price doesn't reflect it.

Others that enter top 5? Ripple? USDT? Nobody uses those coins at all except in crypto exchanges.
9760  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: eight basic levels of cryptocurrencies. on: August 10, 2018, 10:13:37 AM
No. Tier 7 and 8 apply to 99% of altcoins. Ripple backed by a product? No. Their token is a separate product from their blockchain technology. Their token IS a product, and a product they have been pushing and pushing, and giving away, and yet no one is using them still. They practically begged people to please start using XRP and still nobody is.

Hype (tier 7) applies to many coins like XRP. Some would say even any alt except Bitcoin (which is always FUDded against).
