Will look forward to seeing the progression on this one in 2018 I get the feeling they were able to pull of the quick turn around because they raised so much so fast, thats the good part of crypto once they get the crypto its available to use and spend, they dont have to wait for checks to clear or wire transfers to process from investors, they just get the crypto and can then do with it as they please to make commitments like the plant purchases. Yup, two plants already producing 10 MW of energy together, with plans for 22 plants in total in the next 5 years! 22 power plants in the next 5 years? you must be kidding! And in all there should be mining farms? These must be unimaginable hashrates, and we ICO investors are going to earn us golden noses! (if there is this proverb in English) Really? 22 more power plants are planned? But these won't be all new plants but partnerships with already operating ones, right? Do we already know the locations these "22 plants" are going to be? in the UK? or in EU that would give us a lot of profit. Probably most of them will be in UK, because they will be starting there first, and then i hope that they will extend it to other countries as well. Thing that interests me is I wonder if the prices will fluctuate during the day? For example in the evenings when alot of people are at home, using electric etc would it be more expensive than say the dead of night, or during the working day.. Going to be interesting to see what arbitrage opportunities there are.
I am curious also how will the use of electricity dictate the price of bittwatt in the market and as the price of electricity is more of a stagnant one will bittwatt see its price change frequently. I don't expect price fluctuations in hourly basis. But it's possible that price will change on weekly basis. Energy prices will change based on demand and supply and we need to identify how and when it change  The price is always bound to demand and supply in my opinion. Actually during the day I think the cost would be higher because of business consuming a lot of energy to run it processes. Home consumption is not as heavy as businesses'. This is all going to be exciting to see in action. Yeah you are actually right... Lots of power is consumed during the day time both from businesses, schools, construction companies and home use but at night less energy is used as almost everyone is resting. This is true, and already visible on old style power exchanges and even on your own power bill in most countries you'll see that their are onpeak and offpeak hours for power, thats why theirs a big push towards people having their own battery systems for their houses so they can store at night and power from battery during peak hours. I'd imagine we will see similar type of price fluctuations but more natural and based on real supply and demand in a system like bittwatt From the idea with the battery, which is to save the energy at night, I have not heard anything yet. But actually it is a very good idea. Nobody in my country thought of that yet. That is probably also because the available batteries are not yet powerful enough. Until then, you can let Bittwatt store the surplus electricity. that is also a very good idea :-) I don't have very deep knowledge about energy generation per but when you talk about battery as an energy saving source do you mean inverter? I know of inverter in my country which can be recharged after use He is talking about a way to store electricity that is overproduced for a time when it's needed. This can be in the form of a battery or a pumped storage power plant. I know it's a bit off-topic but this energy-storing-problem is really important. Here in Germany we have times (sunny and/or windy days) where electricity producers have to pay money to 'sell' their electricity. |

What are the advantages of the MVP and Is there already a demo version or MVP we can test to see how vanig will work?
As far as I understood MVP will be a demo version this time and some people can get a chance to test it. We need to wait for further information from Vanig which will come I think sometime in the beginning of the next week. Is there any chance to test it? It would be great to touch the product with your own hands. I think he has already said that since people will get a chance to test it out. What we should try find out now is how to get in the line for testing it out. I hope that they release their MVP next week on github and everybody can test it. I would like to test the MVP as soon as possible. As far as I know they will release the demo video and all information about MVP very soon. Beginning of next week, we all can able to test their MVP product. May be I am wrong. I am just waiting for the whole lots of information from the team. You are right. I've contacted the Energy distributor from Romania that will accept Bittwatt as a payment method, and they confirmed me that it will be possible to pay the natural gas and electricity bill using Bittwatt. This is really exciting, and i am looking forward to see more and more countries added to the list of countries that will get into the Bittwatt ecosystem.
that's really great news. But I would like to have an official statement from Bittwatt. I know that the project has already started in Romania, but I have not read anything official so far. Has anyone here more information? This is amazing to hear, I'm really impressed with such news, this project keeps making big moves. I'm so happy the project is going globe and even getting partnership with energy distribution companies. That's awesome. I hope we will hear lots of such news from different European countries. If I am not wrong, Bittwatt have presence in 8-10 countries already? I am not completely sure. According to the whitepaper they've opened the market for Bulgaria and for Turkey it is planned for Q2/2018. So I am not sure if that already happened. It is the most critical milestone to have an MVP. Without the MVP the problem you are trying to solve is unclear. The team can then expand on the MVP as they collect the feedback from the users. Which brings me to the question who are the users so far? any information on that?
I am not sure but I guess right now they are only testing it team-internally. I don't think there are public closed-beta testers. Otherwise, there would have been a possibility to apply for a beta testing spot, right? |

This is great news i just confirmed from their telegram channel as well, i trust investors will be glad to know about MVP release, really do give Vanig presale a boost looking forward to the release date. Yeah, an MVP is so important. Some investors only put their money in a project with at least a working MVP. I can totally understand them. It's something completely different when you invest in a project that has a working product to show than in only a fancy whitepaper. This is really a big news, the mvp being released before the presale begins even makes it a better news as it will benefit the team and attract attention towards the project. Have they released any information on how you can join the beta testing for the platform yet? and is the beta open to all, or restricted does anyone know? Right now it's a closed beta testing. Bitwatt is a nice start-up for the countries where electricity production is not a monopolized industry. In such countries as post-soviet CIA space it's hard to imagine the company that can sell electricity or be a mediator between state and end-user. I'd like to know what legal relations Bitwatt has with state to be such kind of company.
That's why they also start mostly in Europe. Thanks to the EU, the electricity markets are liberalized and everyone can buy and sell electricity. Bittwatt now provides a simple and professional platform for the normal user. So then you and I can easily trade power, great times Indeed, the platform can only exist in a liberalized market. On the Bittwatt platform can everyone trade energy, buy cheap at night and sell when the price increase. How's energy price formed? Does it depend on the Bitwatt plarform token demand? Who can trade tokens? The price for 1BTW is equal to 1 KWh electricity. If you have a small solar panel on your roof or a wind turbine, you can sell the produced KWh on the Bittwatt platform for BTW Token. Im interested to see how they are going to handle the difference in cost of 1 KW of electric across countries, and if the peak usage times increase the cost of electric as well, the platform launch is going to be something im looking out for. That is something I haven't thought of before. You are right. Energy price depends both on geographical factors (which country) and on the time of the day. Renewable energies like wind and solar energy have production peaks depending on the weather. |

When it comes to ICO, there is a phase, so at the moment, the project is more concentrated with having a successful phase of sales, after that comes the period of listing, so is all about patience, the project will definitely come to that and i don't think is wise for the project to talk about the listing because an unexpected event may come up that will lead to some shift or probably a change in an exchange that was once stated, such scenario may cause uproar in the community I don't think there was a project listed in binance or the likes early on; at least not recently to the extent of my knowledge that is. I don't think it is easy getting into the bigger exchanges. It would make more sense listing in small medium exchanges and building your way from there. Binance is one of the very restrictive exchanges regardless of the ico or company binance is very restrictive of when companies are allowed to even mention their possible listing in binance and breaking rules can have consequences so I’d imagine we won’t here much about it soon Something a lot of people might forget when they ask for big exchanges is that these exchanges often require the team to pay huge listing fees. And in my opinion some smaller (and so also cheaper) exchanged are enough for the start. And when the token reached a good volume, the team has a much stronger position when negotiating with big exchanges, like Binance. |

Which countries do you plan to have Bittwatt present at? Do you have contacts at any international energy company so as to ensure any future international expansion goes smoothly?
There is a map in their website; Romania is for sure given it is a Romanian startup. They plan expansion to Bulgaria, Serbia and Macedonia. Hungry and the UK as well as Singapore would be next in line followed by Austria. If you go to https://www.bittwatt.com/business you will more details there. Cool. Most of these countries are not so popular around the world. Most persons (like me) will actually be expecting a startup from popular European websites. Yea. I think the world is changing 2-3 decades ago most innovative startup are from America,china and some European region but now a lot of other players are coming into the game and I think bittwatt will make huge impact in countries like Romanian, Bulgaria, turkey etc. I expect that with time bittwatt will completely capture many of this countries. if they can implement their plans, then in a few years they will be present throughout europe. That would be great, especially for us who have invested right at the beginning. I really see a great future for Bittwatt and I'm considering adding more tokens to my portfolio If Bittwatt really can be operating throughout Europe with success, all the investors from the ICO will be happy. But this also means they have to hold their tokens and don't start to panic if the tokens do not 'moon' right after the ICO. Some projects just need more time to shine but in the end, the waiting will pay off. |

I have been meaning to ask this for sometime; it seems they have filed a patent application under the number 15936458. Any idea in which database that is? from the description provided it seems that the aims to cover a good section of the eCommerce on the blockchain. I want to know the specifics any link to it?
I think you will get a more faster and relevant answer if you ask this question on their telegram channel, the team there are cool and will not hesitate in providing quick and relevant information.. You can find the link on the first page of this thread. They have active admins which respond incredibly fast, as said above they will be able to answer very specific questions or get one of the devs to give you an answer exactly. Also hopefully they can provide us with some updates to the presentation at fundingpost NYC I guess they can't / don't want to say very much about the patent before it is approved. Otherwise, it could be that someone tries to copy it. So we will probably have to wait for the patent to be approved, before we get more information. |

Do you know if they will hold a presentation on that event, too? I just checked the website ( http://www.futurebanking.ro/2018/) and couldn't find Bittwatt mentioned anywhere there. I didn't find that the Bittwatt Team present their project on the event, but it is a good opportunity to get connections to the some other blockchain projects. Maybe they can find some investors for Bittwatt. It will definitely help reach out to other partnerships and potential investors. Atleast add to the community, will be good to hear an update from this from the official team. They tweeted about 3 hours ago that Bittwatt will be present at this event and also said that more information regarding this will follow soon. I really hope that they present their idea there. But you are right. Even if they don't have a presentation there, it's still a really good opportunity to establish contacts with potential partners. |

Hello! I really like your project. Tell me, is there an MVP or a prototype of the project?
I was wondering, too and asked in their Telegram chat. Someone told me to check the FAQ on their website and there it says that an early demo of the platform will be available in May 2018. I don't think it has been released, yet but it's planned for the next couple of weeks. Ok, it's May, so a demo version or MVP can be published at any time. I have to look more often in the telegram channel I am very curious and will test the demo in any case. I love betatests :-) According to the Vanig FAQ they should release a MVP in May and I saw some pics of the prototype on their twitter channel. I'm waiting for the MVP, to do some "betatesting". One of the admins just confirmed that they are still testing their MVP and that they will let us all know once they can release it. I am really looking forward to it. So much better when you actually can see how something is supposed to work, instead of a description in a whitepaper. |
