no it's time to ask them why they have ztor.exe running in the background and why their wallet has corrupted a lot of my wallets?

************ VIRUS ***********************

Ill tell you why this file is running, is because its a keylogger designed to steal your keystrokes when you unlock your wallets for staking. See the pic below, if you have these files, its a matter of time before disaster strikes.

Check the following folder and see if these files exist on windows:
C:\Users\<your user name>\AppData\Local\Spoon\Sandbox\Zipcoin-Qt\2.0.0\Stubexe

In Stubexe youll find wierd folder names , in them youll find the following files:

Ztor.exe the keylogger that stays in memory

Darkcoin.exe this will suddenly pop-up for no reason, if you allow if, it allows remote access to your computer

Bitcoindark.exe This transfers all your coins from you to him.

The following wallets were cleaned out: Bitcoindark, litecoin, Xcurrency, and maybe more. I was trying to post pictures , but cant figure out how. If someone can explain I will post pics. I am ashamed that I am a computer expert and lost thousands to a scammer, but I wanted to come forward and warn the community. The mods from this domain need to take down the link and post VIRUS in big red letters on the op.

anyone else care to comment? FUD?

Certainly seems well timed to fill some buy orders.
I had some wallets compromised.they tried getting my stealth, bluecoin, pesa and a coupkle more.they got my 82000 voot cause I never had wallet sercure but rest were.prior to this happening I installed DoS wallet, zipwallet and 3 cex.io google extention.been doing if for 2 years now and never had anything happen like this.i think I got lucky that all got was voot.i can confirm I found ZTOR.EXE running in the background on my computer.i since formatted all my hard drives done a clean install of windows 8 and have updated my Norton sercurity.seems fine at the moment.i ahd my wallet backed up but have moved coins to different addresses on affected wallets.i notice something was wrong when I got a run time error on my stealth wallet while it was staking.never had that before and have it open and staking 24/7.when I resarted wallet my stealth balance was 0.i immediately turn pc off and disconnected internet.i rebooted and found in the affected wallets a dat file with name of coin. e.g. bluecoin.dat,stealth.dat,vootcoin.dat.some how they were able to get in to my roaming folder and were changing the wallet.dat to the name of the coin so they new what wallet to put dat file into.this happened 2 day ago all seems fine now but I am being very cautious.

guys im on windows 8.1.i have to keep resyncing wallet.i do clean install than move my backup wallet.dat back once it is synced again it stakes for about 12 to 24 hours than goes out of sync.also my balance can change by 5 to 10k coins.i have to run repair wallet to get my balance right again.i am using updated wallet.i have stealth, pac, mint, tek, panda, xtra, hyperstake, blue, iceberg, truck and a few more that stay synced and stake all day long.when vericoin first came out I had the excact same problem until the third or forth wallet update when they got it fixed.

I don't know what the dev and everyone think but I don't believe in this lost or stealing coins craps. this also happen to other coins not just StealthCoin but I do'n't believe them. Coins is just not easy disappear like anyone think.

Agree, he lost coin because of his PC was not secure.
hey guys.i wasn't saying I lost them cause of anything to do with stealth coin.it was my own fault.no one to blame but me.once I done clean install and went back through my backups the only coins I lost were my voot because I didn't encrypt the wallet.all my other wallets were fine cause they were encrypted I must of just missed voot some how.im just glad I still have my stealth and will be holding on these babies Grin

That's good, if you guys have wallet in your pc, you must encrypt and
secure your PC too from keylogger, malware and malicious codes.
had Norton internet sercurity 2014 running so dont know how the got in.just glad it was only one wallet I didn't encrypt

hey guys.this is my old address that my coins were in SJhtGsKGgnJGqYbfZMkv8JKL23eqiDQD1C
seems they got in some how and got my wallet dat.not sure how with Norton sercutrity and everything else I have running.its saying coins are still at that address.my address changed in my stealth wallet and is now empty.worst thing was I just got 5000 stealth for stake challenge.lol.all I can say I hope karma gets them.

If the coins are still at that address, no one stole them.

If you have a backup wallet you are good.

Making a backup is one of the instructions here: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=681725.msg8046182#msg8046182

In fact, the dev says twice in there to backup your wallet:

"Make a copy of your wallet.dat file and put it somewhere safe."
"When you have synced completely, stop the client, back up your wallet.dat again"

I hope this point isn't lost on other people.

ok looks like I found my coins.im not sure what happen but I saw a file called stealthcoin.dat and vootcoin.dat I changed them to wallet.dat and my coins are there.can anyone explain what might of happened
looks like they got my voot but I still go my stealth

SEND THEM TO ANOTHER ADDRESS THAT YOU CONTROL IMMEDIATELY.
ok guys .cheers for all the responses.looks like all they got was my voot.which I can live with.they tried getting bluecoin, stealth, quidcoin.but these were secure seems I didn't secure the voot with encrypted wallet.must of missed that one some how.got everything upto date and protected and just backed everything up again.looks like they were changing my wallet.dat to the name of each coin so they knew what wallet to put it in.i feel a lot better now Grin I also did clean install of windows and formatted all my hard drives
