The thing with OneMarket is say a bunch of people sell thousands of dollars worth of stuff. These people want to dump CLOAK for BTC and cash out. Constant down pressure because the only people that are buying stuff on OneMarket are people already holding CLOAK.
We are all hoping new people buy CLOAK then buy stuff on OneMarket so often that there is constant buy pressure to even out the sell pressure. Then everyone will be praying the price doesn't go down much otherwise why would people want to buy CLOAK only to lose money before buying their items on OneMarket.
What we need is a stability fund to keep the price steady and give people confidence.
What I think will happen is every time more good new comes out the large holders will see that as a way to unload a few more coins and we'll never go anywhere.
While I agree that thiswill happen, to what extent I'm not sure, the devs here have already designed ( under construction ) a better mousetrap. This is the wild west free market ....... cloak will be the answer people have been seeking, and investors will be rewarded, especially early ones ....... And it's still early |

I think it's pretty easy to tell who knows what they're talking about and who doesn't... may be just me, but point is: DYOR and know this...
No matter what the environment of crypto is now, it's headed towards a more trustworthy, professional, and "serious business" type experience. The modern world is used to a certain level of maturity when dealing with currency already and crypto is still learning to meet that demand.
We're at the dawn of a new currency. People will eventually be dealing with this very seriously and all these trolls, FUDsters, and dummies are just going to be silly distractions compared to the cryptoprofessionals doing real work for real currency and having real, productive discussion. (Just like many people are for BTC, right now.)
It's so easy to see: cryptocurrency was born online, within a tiny tiny group of nerds that as a community is still extremely young and extremely marginalized...
....hence the greedy obnoxious children everywhere....
....there's still time until we reach a happy balance in the cryptocommunity. No reason to panic. Just growing pains. Actually, it just makes me more confident in crypto.
I don't have any serious doubts that the crypto community will mature simply because cryptocurrency is such a powerful, disruptive technology.
the next step after growing pains is that people grow up ( ok, ok some never do ) and evolution, innovation happen, people vote with their feet, or their mouse in our case. i'm very optimistic about cloak in particular. decentralize ALL of it. love it !
