I'd rather use Localbit, you have to many many scam reputation left on your trust page.

Those ratings are from scammers themselves, left in retaliation.
983  Economy / Lending / Re: Seeking 2.5 BTC loan. Will repay 3 BTC in 14 days. on: August 05, 2014, 09:54:45 PM
I don't see any problems with this loan request. He has collateral in the form of assets in Havelock Investments. Unless I'm misinterpreting what Havelock is (and I very well may be), the greatest risk here is handing collateral over to a shady lender.
984  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: NeoBee, isn't this funny? on: August 05, 2014, 09:02:33 PM
i am bit late to check his facebook page casue its already removed, but 8KBTC  Shocked  must say he is a serious scam artist.

Must have been down for maintenance because it comes up for me now.
985  Economy / Lending / Re: Need .2 btc loan will pay back in 48 hrs on: August 05, 2014, 07:24:34 PM
Hey guys need to send somebody some cash, I have a $100 amazon gift card I can buy and have sent to your e-mail as collateral. (I hope this form of collateral is acceptable. (if not plz delete mods, sorry) Will pay 5% interest

We have all seen this same song & dance done countless times before, and unfortunately in every case the borrower does not pay back. So too with gift cards being obtained fraudulently.
986  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: SELLING BULK BITCOINS on: August 05, 2014, 03:50:04 PM
What happened to the OP? He hasn't logged in for a few days. It's so unusual for brand new accounts to offer TGTBT deals and then not stick around *cough*

That's what you get for dealing with untrusted new users. Be more careful in the future.
988  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Scammer Teodor87 on: August 05, 2014, 05:02:09 AM
wao then admin and the mods needs to think out something to do in other to get this stopped.

So many scammers around, all they have to do is create a new account. You wouldn't happen to know any, would you?
989  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: FRIENDLY NOTICE on: August 04, 2014, 03:42:51 PM
Same scammer who runs xchanga.com, a well known scam site.

991  Economy / Lending / Re: jdany lending on: August 02, 2014, 06:50:29 PM
Hmm..... looks like he's taken a ton of other loans as well.

If this does turn out bad be sure to make a very detailed scam accusation thread.  It's possible if he scams that he will probably come back under a new alt to scam more. It's important that all the details are out their in the public domain to prevent him from scamming others in the future.

There is no "if" about it.
992  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: escrow.com fake email scam on: August 02, 2014, 06:20:22 PM
They might have scammers IP and that could be useful.

Unnecessary since the scammers full info is already known: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=668160.0
993  Economy / Lending / Re: jdany lending on: August 02, 2014, 06:14:49 PM
I have to make mention to this because of how it appears - but, I have not gotten a response from StarBucksShop as of yet.
There might be an explanation - I just don't have one yet.

I made this loan based on the previous repayment history to myself and other lenders.
I asked for collateral, as extra assurance and really wasn't a prerequisite of this loan.

With that being said, I was sent gift card codes for $786 worth of starbucks credit on July 31.
I never took possession of the credits (transferring the credits to a card that only I controlled)
But on Aug 1, the credits were drained down to nothing, which effectively killed any assurance collateral I held.

He still has a week to pay me back - but, the credits were part of the deal.
They were no longer his to use, which he obviously did use without giving me any kind of notification.

Yeah, I PM'd KWH a few days ago about StarbucksShop exhibiting scammy behavior (successful trivial loan payback followed by a mad rush for multiple concurrent loans). Dude was on a mission to secure as many loans as possible the last couple days. I'm pretty sure he's bailing.
994  Economy / Lending / Re: Offering BTC loans [no collateral] on: August 02, 2014, 10:37:17 AM
Throw away my bitcointalk account?, like i said if can increase my hashing power, theres no problems making the repayments back of 20 BTC, you have my word...

There's still an awful lot of risk that haploid would be taking. Wouldn't it be safer for him to just buy the mining hardware himself and mine out 10 BTC, then ship the hardware to you (for free) when he's finished? That way there's no risk involved and everybody makes money.
995  Economy / Lending / Re: Offering BTC loans [no collateral] on: August 02, 2014, 10:14:43 AM
I would like to know if you can lend me another 0.1BTC and payable for 7 days only with 10% rate.
Denied. You already have a concurrent loan with me, and I don't stack loans. I'm not going to consider giving you another one until you pay back the current one.

THANK YOU. Stacking loans is often a tactic scammers user before disappearing. I'm not saying this dude's a scammer, but it is a bit risky.
996  Economy / Lending / Re: Offering BTC loans [no collateral] on: August 02, 2014, 10:10:13 AM
I am pretty sure they will not scam you for 0.04 or any amount Cheesy

997  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Scam accusation : justbtcme, attempted to scam 5.0 BTC on: August 01, 2014, 08:55:41 PM
I just sent 22,000 dollars worth of coins to donator member Otoh without escrow and thank god they arrive today.

I've been a really good boy this year, Santa, I don't want any gifts, I just want to be left alone.

Did you seriously try to cast Otoh's trustworthiness onto yourself? Smiley
998  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Scam accusation : justbtcme, attempted to scam 5.0 BTC on: August 01, 2014, 06:27:27 PM
Wow man, thanks a lot. I said many times I will escrow and here you are doing what you're doing.

That's not what Ente told me. While this isn't a clear cut case of a scam, you do appear to be backing out of an auction that you won. That to me is justification for negative trust, not to mention the fact that you and your alts have been suspect from last year.

You don't want to use escrow? Fine. Pay Ente for the auction you bid on and won, and he'll ship the coin out. If not, your rating will get a bit more colorful by tomorrow.
999  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: BTC for sale on: July 31, 2014, 09:03:42 PM
I'm a bitcoin miner have been for the last two years. I have been selling on Craigslist mainly. I'm based in Australia and have several happy customers worldwide. I have recently quadrupled the capacity of my rig and am smashing out more coins then I can sell.
Offer me a price and the amount you want to buy and I will see if we can do business.
I do require payment first but I have several references that are happy for you to contact.
Email rorypedicab@gmail.com and I will reply as soon as I can.
No time wasters please.

You should probably put some BTC funds into escrow (see Escrow Whitelist thread). Once you receive payment in something other than PayPal from the buyer, the escrower will release the funds. That way a significant amount of risk is completely avoided.
1000  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: SELLING BULK BITCOINS on: July 31, 2014, 07:56:43 PM
I attempted to escrow a deal, but baderahmed was not able to fund the escrow address as he apparently does not actually posses any coins:

No I can not actually, since I must use the money to pay for it.
