Unique daily views statistics now available for the banner ads and slots!
Thank you.

Can you add an option to show unique visitors in ad slots?
Am I correctly understand, you are asking about unique impressions? If true, we collect only aggregate data about impressions for banner ads and slots with precision of one hour. Only banner clicks and interstitial ad impressions are tracked individually.

BTW, now we are receiving about 500-600k impressions per day and this number grow every day. If I would start inserting info about each impression into database (which require at least 4 fields to be uniquely tracked: ad_id, slot_id, client_ip and timestamp), it would produce
many gigabytes of data every day. In the future, if our profits will be enough to build own data center Roll Eyes, this feature of course will be available!

I'm talking about unique impressions in the last 24 hours. (Unique visitors)
Instead of 1 hour precision it would be 24 hours.

What is currently your share of ads? Are you able to fund proper hosting with it?
For a long time (since CoinURL launch to this day) relatively cheap virtual hosting was enough to handle load. I have paid out 100% of the advertisers' funds, but when I will move to the more powerful server I have no other choice than start charging some fee.

P.S. Have you any suggestions for affordable VPS?

Is this the same self-important Maria that went apeshit over Bitcoinica?

Nobody CARES how many Bitcoins you have or how old you are! Get lost already!

Yes.
986  Other / Off-topic / Re: As the oldest miner in the forum, I declare... on: September 25, 2012, 01:27:25 PM
I can prove it. What is the best way to prove it?

Again, min bet is 10 BTC. If I am lying you win 30 BTC, if I am telling the truth you pay me 10 BTC. Put your money where your mouth is, you are talking to the oldest miner here so have some fucking respect.

Miner Maria.

Fantastic thread

How about a picture of a Pirate with a BitCoin Eyepatch to close out the holiday?

Sorry for delay, here you go!  Smiley http://imgur.com/CNVdE

Awesome, tipped.
The last payment received by 1NQ57VnuktrtbcK8Mtk6GQJ4Xd3ti1FauS was 0.0001 BTC. That's your tip? Or did you send it to other address? lol
988  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Building a super computer... on: September 23, 2012, 12:13:41 PM
Hey all,
I'm looking into building a computer cluster for rendering 3D models and for simulating physics, and I'm considering using the idle time for mining bitcoins.  My biggest concern is... How the hell do I stop someone from stealing the computers or from the cops thinkging I'm doing something illegal??

I'm afraid someone will steal the equipment (even though it'll weigh 700lb+ total) just because it looks expensive.  There have been a lot of ghetto looking people moving into my area and I really don't want my computers stolen.

I'm afraid the police will think I'm upto something illegal because my electric bill will rise significantly.  I heard rumors about the police raiding people's homes because of the increase in energy consumption.  I'm sure the police wouldn't think twice about raiding my home, because there were two other houses in my neighborhood that have been raided because they were drug dealers (one guy had bombs and my next door neighbors were the sinaloa drug cartel running a 34 million dollar operation).  I really don't wanna get raided & I REALLY don't want my computers confiscated or something.

Any ideas??

I have a few other questions, too, like cooling, but I'll save those for later Smiley  All together I'm looking to spend $10,000-$15,000 through out this project.
I would seriously consider changing home.

Thank you
I am paying back senbon as we speak, and will pay back the steam games I took once steam lets me trade them.
Once I have done that can the mods please delete all scam threads involving me, and delete my account? Thanks.

Definitely not deleting the scam threads, not gonna help cover it up. I doubt theymos will delete your account either.
Why not? I don't want my name rubbed in the mud
It's your fault.
I know. But I have learnt my lesson, I am ashamed of what I have done, and am paying back.
Why not leave everything here as a reminder?

992  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: ANDREW BITCOINER!! on: September 21, 2012, 09:33:24 PM
Mods - why does Andrew Bitcoiner NOT have a scammer tag yet??

I can't independently verify that scamming occurred.
Well, I understand your position, but how many reports of BTC not being paid out do you need before a "community consensus" is reached?  He's not paying out on his advertiser platform either.  With dozens of people reporting failed payouts, I would think the onus would be on him to prove his innocence.

How do you normally verify that scamming has occurred?

He doesn't need to prove his innocence. Someone needs to prove his guilt. I don't want to spend my time investigating it, so someone else will need to collect the evidence.

Lots of people complaining is not reason enough?

No.

You're obviously taking sides because he's a Hero Member.
If he was a newbie he already had the scammer tag a long time ago...

But nevermind, the time will take care of this.

More than 50% of CoinAd's revenue came from Operation Fabulous.

my favorite is the 8000, with initial bet of 0.001 and increasing by 20% after the first lost, and 15% each time thereafter.  the first pays for the tx fees, the other times, well, it sucks to bet 10 and only win a little over a bitpenny

I tried it your way, 3 times.  I started at 0.015 and added on 15% each time.

The first 2 went pretty quickly, but the 3rd took 20 turns before I won.  Seems like a lot of stress and effort to make a profit of 17 bitcents.  Smiley

The question is how many times can you make 17 bitcents in an hour? Tongue

The question is how many times can you lose in a row and lose all your money.
