981  Economy / Reputation / Re: The curious case of forum member: rby (of the Rubycoin scam) on: July 02, 2023, 01:39:46 PM
why do you consider it is worth discussing now when the project is long abandoned/passed and you cannot even recall what happened then?
Very simple. My best guess is, in the recent time you wanted to have an argument with him and somehow he felt it did not go the way he wanted. He tried everything to overturn your argument but failed. There are few members in the forum including JollyGood who are always chasing forum members to dig grave for others. I sometimes feel the forum is losing members because of these group. These so-called scam busters, forum police are doing everything to be sure that they stay in the DT and harass members.

This thread has been created to allow all matters related to the rby
List the matters instead of asking someone else to do it for you.
982  Economy / Gambling / Re: Whats happening with Betnomi? on: July 02, 2023, 01:28:42 PM
It's sad if they really encounter serious financial troubles as some people above are assuming, because it was one of the very few casinos active on the forum. I hope it's just a temporary issue and they will be back in business very soon.
Let's hope it is indeed a maintenance issue but having the issue for week is worrying.

But it's hard not to worry because there are so many red flags.
Sometimes the main provider can create trouble and, in that case, finding a new provider and settle everything takes time. There could be issue with payment services. too.
983  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Minimum Age to gamble on: July 02, 2023, 01:07:57 PM
Many online casinos and physical ones do not enforce the age restrictions until the user wins big at which point they talk about the regulatory rules and use it as a reason to not payout.

Only really honest platforms will stop underage gamblers from playing if they can identify them but majority would not bother to check.

I think you are right, I have noticed that there are many teenagers who are into the gambling thing and yet no casinos care about their age because they don't need such details of verification for short amounts of withdrawals.
For fiat casinos they always have ID verification before even making a deposit and in your ID if you are under 18 then they will not let you continue. In crypto casinos you have chance to make them fool but if you win large then at some point, they will ask ID. I don't think anyone will provide an underage ID if they ask, to risk their winnings.

But in physically exists casinos ID checking is a common thing. At least in the country I live, without having an ID card to prove you are 18 years or older you can not enter in a casino. If someone looks older obviously, they will not ask for the ID but if you look younger then they have right to ask for the ID and you will need to show it. The same applies if you are going to purchase alcohols.

984  Economy / Gambling / Re: Whats happening with Betnomi? on: July 02, 2023, 12:05:05 PM
I'll tag icopress and see if they may be able to provide an update. I don't know how often they talk with betnomi, but maybe they have some information they can share with the community.
I last inquired about Betnomi's affairs about a week ago (asking for the funds they owe me for my sig and regarding the case of one user who contacted me). And I made it clear that if my case is not resolved, then I will have to terminate the contract with them (to which their manager answered me that Sorsis will be online soon and all cases will be resolved). To be honest, I have no idea what's going on with the platform itself, but I'll find out what I can (including checking the poker lobby),
Doesn't sound good. Hopefully nothing bad is on the way. It's been a while, they have invested a lot of money, time to build the community. So far, they have a decent fan base too. Even last UCL pool was sponsored by them, the bitcointalk community reward and in many other communities works they did in the past to bring the brand so far.

Let's hope they are having some temporary hardship.

Simple logic that easy to answer and I guess he just twist your point so that he can answer it on different form.
He even started to accuse me north and south, right and left.

Probably not read the Q&A
Another commentor who read nothing.
Unread and out of place.
Scaring people in a wrong thread.

986  Economy / Gambling / Re: Rollbit.com | Crypto's Most Rewarding Casino 👑 on: July 02, 2023, 10:55:59 AM
After the bets won, they were all cancelled by Rollbit and I did not receive my winnings. They did not pay me my $10k+ winnings.

The support said the odds were wrong and odds provider voided the bets.
If an odd provider finds something wrong with the odd provided or any other reasons like manipulation in the sports and such things, then they can void a bet or bets placed on that sport. It's hard to prove if that only happened with you.

Generally, the odds providers have business with many gambling sites. If you can bring some evidence from another gambling company that in the same event, in the same market that other gambling site did not void the bets especially the bets those were lost then you may have strong evidence.
987  Economy / Gambling / Re: BetSteps365 | Thousands € profit | Current ROI: +14.72% | Sports Betting Signals on: July 02, 2023, 10:47:45 AM

I always wonder myself what is the investment for this type of signaling services. In trading if I am good at predicting the market price them why don't I invest whatever money I have and make profit alone. The same in sportsbook or casino games.

Predicting the stock market is not the same as predicting the outcome of a future sporting event. We are not a casino here either.

If I know for sure that In a Liverpool vs City match, City is going to win, then I will put all the money I have instead of teaching or requesting others to place bets and let them make the money.

We never stated that we knew for sure what would happen to our signals. These are predictions. You probably have not read our Q&A. Meanwhile, you are commenting here. We have a system that we follow and a bank roll policy. We would never invest all our money in anything. You are probably another commenter who reads nothing about the project but expresses his negative general opinion on our project board. Please take the time to read about our project before making a comment on it. This makes you look totally unread and out of place. This is a project board and not a general discussion board. You are scaring people on the wrong thread.

This signal or tipsters do not make money from the bets they place, in fact I have doubt if they really place bets for themselves, their main business is to make their channel popular and earn from the subscription fees. When the ICO industry was at their top time, then haven't we seen so many signal channels. Eventually every member of their channels lost their money, but the channel owners made all.

We are sharing our bet slips with photos, and below the bet we are writing a reason why we picked the exact match and why we are betting on it. We give exact directions to our clients. Our system has worked so far, and that's the reason we are not afraid to give a vouch to an admin so he can track our legitimacy by himself. The groups that you are talking about are obvious scam groups.
I think you failed to get my point.
If you know the outcome of an event, then why not you place your bets yourself and make all the money instead of sharing it with a community and reducing the value of the odd. You must know that when many bets are placed in a leg than it starts to lose the value so that the bookie can balance both side of the market.
988  Economy / Gambling / Re: BetSteps365 | Thousands € profit | Current ROI: +14.72% | Sports Betting Signals on: July 01, 2023, 06:37:24 PM
if someone wants to follow our research and copy us, he has to pay a small fee until we hit our goal, not per month like most services. Since we respect our customers cash, we are not letting them re-subscribe before we provide what we promised. We are not gifting the time that we spend on research, that's why we have the fee. When we first started we had a symbolic fee of 5€ per month and some months were completely FREE but now we cannot give such ROIs for 5€.

I like the idea. I'm not sure if it's new, but most of the services I believe charge a fixed monthly fee as long as you are subscribed. Well, thanks for explaining it well. I might consider your services once the NBA returns. Good luck

989  Economy / Gambling / Re: MEGA:PARI | Gambling&Betting | REVIEW CAMPAIGN ON 💸💸💸 on: July 01, 2023, 06:24:27 PM

I can confirm that I have spent over a week with Mega Pari and my experience was not bad. I will not say that I had exclusive experience, but it was better than many established gambling sites so far.

Mega Crash Lottery is officially on!
Register, place your bets and win up to 500 EUR (1x wager) in each draw!
You may need to consider the older account to be able to join the event, I could not join your review campaign for the same reason 😉
990  Economy / Gambling / Re: Impossible KYC Requirements - Stake.com - Withholding $6000 USD on: July 01, 2023, 06:18:04 PM
And yes, people saying 6k is not a lot to stake. Maybe, Maybe not but its a lot to me ;(
I am sorry that you are going through a hard time but I am sure there will be a solution which will eventually be justified either in your or their favour but we will know that it was justified. From my side since I am wearing Stake signature, I felt I have a duty to inform them. I already sent a PM to Stuna. Let them check it and leave a response for you.

You still did not say that if you have used VPN.

Thank you very much for your feedback. I really appreciate it. I am still working on my thread as I want it to make everything as clear as possible. Really appreciate the help and the tips.  Cheesy
I think the best move will be to have an escrow who will act between you and your buyer as a trust factor. You are new in the community, people will hesitate to trust your product, in case you do not deliver it as explained. An escrow with a fees will ensure safe practice of the terms between you and your client.

In my old days, I trusted many script providers and some of them just ran away with the money without keeping the promises they made. In the wild internet area, it's hard to trust someone who do not have a solid background of conducting business.

First of all, have you thought about making a professional Announcement thread for your service?
Good graphics for the announcement thread is important and worth to spend money to hire a professional designer for it.

jayce
Heisenburg_Hunter
icalical
I saw somewhere a thread with a list of services providers. If someone can find the thread and post the link the OP can easily find one of his choices. It's better instead of recommending a few that are in your mind.

Update: Hourly faucet drops have been increased for a short period! Claim in currency of your choice.
Why Ignoring other questions above? if this is how you wanted to run this thread then trust me you will gain no players or I mean "legit Players" because what you will only gather from this are abusers .
He hasn't made any response from yesterday which means maybe he did not read the responses yet. We can not expect a new account to understand the community very quickly. They need time to learn the environment.

993  Economy / Gambling / Re: Looking for Website Recommendations on: June 30, 2023, 08:04:18 PM
but bcgame has nerfed my affiliate % from 35 to 9.8.
That's very unfair. You must had a mutual understanding with their affiliate manager and hopefully they did not drop it without giving you enough time.

Problem with affiliate marketing is, you do everything to make them big but when they are big they kick you out without showing a minimum respect. If you are really too good to bring so many affiliates and helping them to make that much money, then why don't you consider having your own gambling site. Have your own business and bring the traffic by yourself.
994  Economy / Gambling / Re: Impossible KYC Requirements - Stake.com - Withholding $6000 USD on: June 30, 2023, 07:57:02 PM
Am i being unreasonable here? To be clear, they will not let me withdraw my money out. Maybe i deserve to lose 6k USD on a legitimate account because i vpned while working overseas? Can someone with a clearer head here suggest what my next steps should be.
Have you used VPN and what is their terms about VPN?

Why would they hurt their own reputation only for $6000?
Too much to lose for $6k considering where Stake.com is now.

I will now answer any specific questions people have posted
You don't need to make more than one post before any new post is posted by someone. You can always edit a post and update the text to answer anyone.

I remember last time when Stake ANN thread has error in the images, I PMed Stunna and it was updated very fast. I will PM Stunna about this thread and request to have a look. Hopefully we will find out what exactly happen and see a good ending.

Secondly, honestly speaking there are many crypto gambling websites. We have regular gabling sites, we have this web3 type websites. Overtime they are building trust and attracting new clients. What is your strategy and key features that makes you different from others?
996  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Sportsbet.io's English Premier League Football Pool Discussion Thread on: June 26, 2023, 10:01:27 PM
Next month sound eternity for gamblers.
Last few weeks since the UCL final the days are dull LOL
There are no sports to follow at least for me. I cannot wait for the season to start.

But joining more than three pools, you won't have enough time to look into all of them.
For me PL and UCL are more than enough. If I take more challenges in hand, then I am pretty sure I will lose focus.

Safepal
Go to Safepal offcial website, check their FAQ or contact their customer support. Ask them how to do coin control for bitcoin with the wallet. If you do Google search you will be able to find many articles available online about anything on the internet. Use those resources to learn coin control.

Your keyword is Coin Control. How to do it with Electrum is nicely shown by bitmover already.
From the look of things, Safepal is a close source wallet although they didn't state it in the site but from the articles I read and my own understanding, it is a custodian wallet.
Safepal is a custodial wallet? I did not check my desk yet but as far as I know I have one safepal hardware wallet. A hardware wallet is none custodial, same as Ledger, Trazor. Even desktop wallet like Electrum. This is safepal official website: https://www.safepal.com/en/

From the look of things, Safepal is a close source wallet although they didn't state it in the site but from the articles I read and my own understanding, it is a custodian wallet.
You are right that Safepal is close-source,
I was talking about the information about how to use the wallet. If it has coin control, then I think their manual will have some type of instructions. Those bloggers and crypto writers who review wallet they will have some kind of tutorial tll.

999  Other / Meta / Re: Can Bitcointalk Adopt the Web3 System? on: June 26, 2023, 03:34:52 AM
First, there's no Web3 project so far that has been able to build a plugin that will enable direct connection to a Bitcoin wallet (Not multi-wallets). So that could not be possible unless something changed in the future.

Hi nwanda. I'm glad you commented on my thread. Maybe you're right, security is the top priority in this forum. And using web3 is still too vulnerable for now. I don't know in the future
I am not going to install a browser extension and give it access of my wallet to login in something. May be web3 is something I don't understand but I am happy with the old school where I know how to keep my wallet secure.

If bitcointalk needs to do anything, then it's the new forum software we have in work in progress. Convert the current forum into the new forum software. But problem is, from the years we are waiting for it and I lost my hope that there will be anything we will see such thing ever. This old SMF is our only and last hope LOL

1000  Other / Meta / Re: Offensive words on the forum on: June 26, 2023, 03:24:49 AM
On the contrary it's now difficult to know users that are building accounts in order to earn. Besides those who are more interested in learning than earning will in the end still wear paid signatures. Before now, how to easily identify those who are only interested in earning is through the bounty. But now their attention is shifted to signature campaign, hunting for 100 merits.
I don't think anyone needs to study an account history before replying to a question or sending a merit. If the post worth merit then send merit without looking for who is behind the account, if the discussion is interesting then response it. Policing every account and trying to find fault in every forum account is just bad. It's pointless, makes the whole thing wrong about the concept of a forum. Obviously if something comes up undeniable truth then change your mind.

Keep it simple. Share knowledge and seek.
