9861  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What would you do with your winnings? on: March 31, 2017, 09:23:33 PM
For me I would buy myself something I want like a new playstation 4 in 4k and a 4k tv and spend my whole weekends just being a couch potato and play all the games I want. That is the like I want to live if I do win a lot of money from gambling. I just want to stop working and just live off whatever I have.
I believe each and every gambler will be having wishes similar to you. Unfortunately gambling is not capable of fulfilling our wishes. We can make some profits but definitely not life changing amounts unless otherwise they are extremely lucky persons. Those lucky persons must be one out of millionth. I'm not sure only those people are playing gambling.

We can have what ever plan we wish about making use of our winning amount. But there will be no guarantee that gambling will be giving those profits to make our wishes into reality.

We can wish, but if is will be fulfilled is a different story. And just like others have said, we can't depend on gambling to provide us with this. We need to work our asses off to order to fulfilled what dreams we want. Gambling will not provide us this, we simply dream and hope that one day we are going to win in a lottery but the chances are slim you need all your lady luck beside you to win it.
If gamblers stop dreaming about making more money easily then probably they will not gamble again with their profits.

Moreover they may try to secure their winning funds by withdrawing time to time. I also gamble my profits for another round most of the times just to extend my winning streaks but usually it will not go as far as I do wish.
9862  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: When did you start gambling? (Because of BCT Promotion?) on: March 31, 2017, 09:13:14 PM
I started gambling long before BTC was around but I must admit that since most gambling sites now take Bitcoin I have been gambling a lot more as I'm able to use the Bitcoins I earn to try and make even more Bitcoins. Sometimes it pays off and sometimes it doesn't but I never exceed my weekly/daily limit.
When bitcoins has nothing to do with your weekly limits then I believe you are still gambling with control. I just entered gambling just because of bitcoins and I do spend btc for gambling and if I do not have btc then I may not gamble.

Honestly I could not blame on bitcoin because it is irresistible failure of my self control. If bitcoin was not introduced to me, I would have gambled with the some other payment processors. Hence it must be my inner thoughts and desires which are coming out through easily available methods wherever possible.
9863  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: When you play Dice can you feel your heart in your throat? on: March 31, 2017, 09:02:56 PM
Yes, because when I am playing dice usually I set it into autobet and when the consecutive loss is going to far my hearth is beating as fast as he can and if I win then it will be calmly again. Usually dice game is the most intense gambling game for me because the excitement for every roll of dice is given, of course if your bet is low that is not exiting.

Autorolling will do you no good man! You should try rolling normally and you might even have a chance of winning something. Especially if you are using a martin gale system or something along those lines. For me the best way to play is not to autoroll, it much more fun and I do feel that heart pounding more if it is not in autoroll.
Autobetting has nothing to do with your winning or losing, you can set the parameters to something you feel comfortable and keep betting much faster, it can stop at certain lost or certain win anyway. I think your winning or losing has no relation with autobetting but since you bet a lot faster than the house edge kicks in earlier in time than manual one which would be the reason people think autobet makes them lose.
9864  Economy / Economics / Re: Make money from money on: March 31, 2017, 08:51:33 PM
the best way to make money with money is by trading altcoin. Well, even though it is something that is not certain, but, when you have mastered it, you certainly can make money with money even if it is not stable.

This may be the best way now, but not safe. Nobody can predict how the cryptocurrency will develop in the near future. Therefore, when trading alternative coins, you need to be very careful
I am not seeing altcoins trading as good way as of right now because bitcoins showed good rally today hence we could expect altcoin prices to get dumped. Still altcoin traders will get chances to make money if they act as per trend like shorting or buying at bottoms.

There are infinity number of opportunities to make money from money both online as well as in real life. But, at the same time there are opportunities in same number hence finding the legit one will be the biggest challenge here.

Just investing into bitcoin is the only way right now I am doing to make money with my money. Previously I was doing with cloud mining but right now I have stopped almost all other opportunities except investing into bitcoins.
9865  Economy / Economics / Re: bitcoin benefit of saving for a long time? on: March 31, 2017, 08:33:27 PM
why so many people store their bitcoin in their wallet for a long time, whether the benefits will they get?

Come share your thoughts

The people who are involved with bitcoin, and keeping it long term, know what they are getting into and are ready for such outcome with recourse to whether making a winning or making a loss and there is no amount of what will say that will make them change their because they believe they will make a wealth out of that decision of theirs as I have friends to with the same ideology in which I dont even have anything against such commitment to bitcoin.
No wonder because mass number of people will not go wrong. Probably individuals or some small group of people may take wrong assumptions but people from around the globe will not believe into something without enough reasons.

To maximise the benefits we could get from saving bitcoin for a long time, we must introduce bitcoin to our nears and dears. Making them understand the potential of bitcoin will definitely get possibilities of win-win situation for all of us. Just saving bitcoin for long time will not help as per present situations, we must work on spreading awareness on bitcoin ecosystem.
9866  Economy / Economics / Re: Can we Manipulate Bitcoin price? on: March 31, 2017, 08:09:51 PM
Some say groups like the whale club manipulate the bitcoin price on a daily basis amd maybe they do.
Maybe even the big mining farmers are in on the act but who really know for sure.

Bitcoin is no different than any other money driven markets, if there is cash to be made then you can bet at least one person in the room is not playing fair.

Every few days leading up to payday i think my boss must be manipulating the market because it always goes up $50 or more when they pay me then it drops again  Cheesy
I heard exchanges also go for manipulating bitcoin prices that too with its member's bitcoins. (not just this, they do gamble also with public funds). But I do not see any breach of gentleman agreements there. They have opportunities so they make use of them.

Those that control huge amounts of bitcoin are able to manipulate the price more directly but even small holders by their independent actions are able to manipulate the price, after all if everyone wants to sell at the same time then the price gets lower.
Those independent small bitcoin holders only could make some spikes in bitcoin trading and definitely they could not make any impact in the movements of price levels. By considering 15+ billion market cap, we must at least need 10k+ bitcoins to practically manipulate bitcoin prices.
9867  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: In 2017, Is a $400 ASIC miner still profitable? on: March 31, 2017, 05:52:00 PM
This is not true, I was making good profit up to the end of 2013 on home asic.

asics were only introduced PUBLICLY in october 2013..

so you only made a couple months of good profit..

It was very good  Grin

Edit: BTW, Avalon was the first to sell to end users in January of 2013.

https://bitcoinmagazine.com/articles/avalon-ships-bitcoins-first-consumer-asics-1358905223/
It was limited supply though, I don’t mean you didn’t have it, you maybe one of the people who was lucky enough to buy one but it wasn’t available to everyone. Whoever got in early January 2013 than they may made some profits.

It got worse afterwards for other users, not a profitable time for everyone.
9868  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: Which ASIC miner is profitable right now ? on: March 31, 2017, 04:40:22 PM
All miners you physically buy, tends to get less and less profitable. Back in the day there was mining equipment sellers who sold their miners even tough it was profitable to just mine them because they wanted the quick cash to reinvest.

Those reinvestment are now used by them to mine themselves and they are taking the profit.
However hashnest could be profitable if you buy at the right price, mine for a while and sell for a profit, not a long term deal tough.
9869  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: Profitable on: March 31, 2017, 04:24:07 PM
I don’t think its quite possible to mine 130 mhps for someone who is asking if this calculations are right.
That is possible for someone to do in bitcoin mining and ask this question but if you know what you are doing and have as high as 130 mhps for cpu mining than you wouldn’t be asking such a question.

There are lots of resources are available to cross check, I do not know how you are missing/ignoring them.
9870  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread (EPL) on: March 31, 2017, 03:33:31 PM
I still cannot believe Leicester City is 15th in the league, how is that even possible after such a season?

I mean do you know any other team that won the championship and got almost regulated the next? I have never seen or heard anything like that before in my life. I do not know what are other surprises we are going to see this year. It is so weird.
9871  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Europa League/Champions League Lounge on: March 31, 2017, 02:34:18 PM
Bayern vs Real match is a tough one and I think the game can go both ways but real has been playing well this year, so I think they have a better chance, tough Bayern is an amazing team and may outplay Real and I wouldn’t be surprised. Juventus on the other hand is no match for Barcelona if you ask me.

They are playing a lot better than they used to but Barcelona is a steady team that plays at this level constantly whereas Juventus is here every couple years even longer, that is why I think Barca has a bigger chance on winning than Juventus.
9872  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2016/17 on: March 31, 2017, 02:09:50 PM
The La Liga is top heavy, Real Madrid and Barcelon wins almost all games they play, Barcelona and Real Madrid lost 5 games COMBINED all season and the third? Sevilla, who lost 5 themselves, they are miles away from their competitors. Now that means Real Madrid, unless something huge happens, will win most of the games the will play from now on too, With another win they are 68 with 5 point difference, that to me is almost impossible to pass.
9873  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Patience is Key in Long-Term $BTC Outlook... on: March 31, 2017, 12:31:26 PM
unlike long time holding which does not guarantee the hodler huge profits or grow your holding. Its quite risky this time around to go long term if you ask me.
Only time will answer about the rewards for the patience of holding for longer periods. So far, especially bitcoin holders got and unbeatable returns for their patience. The short-term traders are eventually got trapped one day or other either with profits or not. It may not be a right time to talk about long term holding but personally I do not have any other option other than continuing my holding.

Hopefully this scalability issue of bitcoin will get answers for this. If we all move into one good solution, hopefully we can get $1500 and $2000 levels very soon as a reward for holding patiently.
9874  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: you need to overcome your fear of losing money on: March 31, 2017, 08:09:29 AM
With failure in emotion control, no one could make profits anywhere because out of emotion failure they will change their plans frequently and finally will collapse everything.
Yes, fear of loss will always lead traders changing their predetermined plans. I guess that will be very dangerous one because you should never go for adhoc plans because under pressure no one could make right decisions that is general truth. We must work on how to deal about an expected event so that we could be somewhat prepared to face them.

Trading is all about getting ourselves prepared well in advance. To overcome fear of loss we must need experiencing similar type of situations with demo accounts itself. Experience must be very helpful asset for trading, only with it we can find trading profitable for us.
9875  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is it still worth it to trade? on: March 30, 2017, 06:06:41 PM
Bitcoin still have those swings, I think it will never truly be gone, just less frequent than before.
The fluctuations of bitcoin will remain available hopefully for ever. Because in near future we cannot find any reason that bitcoin will trade solid stable. As long as demand of bitcoin keeps on growing, we could expect more swing to make use in our trades.

Adding altcoins in your portfolio is alright, but not too many of them. It will be a headache monitoring too many markets at the same time.
We need to be very much careful about choosing altcoins for trading. I believe only select altcoins are good for trading, this way we can have only very few established altcoins. If we go beyond those established ones, I'm sure we never could find chances to make profits with altcoin trading.
9876  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Opportunity is here?? on: March 30, 2017, 05:36:43 PM
I think to buy alt coins is good only if you use a small part of your money to do it. It's very risky, alt coins are more unstable than Bitcoin and we don't have the sure they worth or not on long term like Bitcoin. I personally don't have much money to invest, so I prefer to focus in Bitcoin, maybe a little part of my balance I can use to hold alt coins, but just a little part...
I never analyzed about altcoins for long term investments. As per current trend it seems altcoins coins are doing well (today litecoins got 100% appreciations). Still I am afraid to invest there, as per past records, altcoins may get dumped at any time just before we could book profits too. Unlike bitcoins, we cannot be sure it will bounce back any time soon.

At the same time we can be sure about bitcoins like it will always show opportunities as price of bitcoin is known for bouncing back from any fall. Also, some new companies keep on trying for bringing out bitcoin ETF. So the opportunity of bitcoin is available now and we can believe this trend will continue for ever.
9877  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2016/17 NBA Season on: March 29, 2017, 07:48:59 PM
Warriors Keep rolling, they won again against the Rockets this time, Curry, Thompson, and Green all had a good game despite not a good 3 point shooting night in overall but Thompson really did great. Moreover, I think harden is still bothered with his wrist injury which ha cannot manage to make a good 3 point shooting tonight which only goes at 1-8 beyond the arc.
I guess it is weird to say they didn’t have a good three point game last night.
Yes, compared to what they did last year it may look worse but come on klay and step had 8/23 on a night where everyone was trying to stop them from shooting, on a year where everyone just focused on not letting curry and klay shoot, they lost durant, and had to take it up themselves.

I think for that good of a D from the other team to make curry and klay pass instead of shoot, they had an amazing game.
9878  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2016/17 on: March 29, 2017, 07:36:54 PM
I don’t think Messi would give up his lead but that is because he is messi not because Ronaldo is failing. Even 19 goals in 27 games is amazing but since we are used to Ronaldo being a scoring machine and an amazing player that we are talking about how 19 goals in 27 games less than his usual and he is not playing like him. He is the third highest scorer in the leauge but we are talking about him like his done Cheesy

I think they are both playing very well, if it was someone else than messi I would assume Ronaldo had a chance to pass but with this stats it looks like unless Messi gets injured he will not lose to anyone.
9879  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread (EPL) on: March 29, 2017, 07:12:02 PM
I read something interesting in newspapers yesterday that Manchester United is willing to pay Barcelona over 200 mill for Neymar. They are willing to pay Barca that much and to offer Brazilian player biggest pay on the island there. Will this is true or not i didnt find out nothing, but only that Messi is not in good relationship with some players in Barca including Neymar.

Maybe this is another fake headlines for newspapers to read or can be true this time cuz i read this in winter transfers but only as a speculations.

if neymar price over 200 million i think is very high value, not equal price and quality
but if manchester united is want can pay, example buy paul pogba can recovery only selling ibrahimovic jersey
Neymar is a great star maybe because he is playing  in Barcelona is liminting his additions in the team but we can see that Barzil only relaying on him we so that when he is not playing Brazil tend to lose also i think he has a guaranty to get a ballon d'or in the next two years as Messi and Ronaldo entering their final years of their peak so Neymar will be the next big theing . While Manchester United have the power to buy him but surely thy can't get their money only from selling his shirts as they can only get a percentage from shirts sales.
You don’t only make Money from shirts. A team being successfull can attract a lot of people from shirt sales to ticket sales and every win in the league is profit and every win in the cup is an earning, not just the price you get for winning but also since you play more games when you eleminate someone on the cup that means you will play one more game which means more tickets, if you win the cup that is a lot of Money.

Also if they play on the champions league like they use to and at least play semifinals that is a lot of Money too, if you combine that with some billboards and commercials and ads, that is a whole lot of Money to be made from a single player.

Maybe they won’t make as much as 200m but they can make enough to say it was a good transfer.
9880  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I got $100 to blow, what coins should I get on: March 25, 2017, 02:47:30 PM
I'm looking into getting my first Alt-coins, and interested in a long term investment
Altcoins and long-term are contradicting each other imho. Even with ETH, I doubt you may recover your capital if you invest and wait. It would be a good practice if you catch a being bumped boat and get off from there before others jump out. I am just holding litecoin with negative growth rate and hence I never suggest people to hold altcoins for long haul.

If you had $100 to blow today, what coins would you invest in?
The big dilemma with altcoins must be choosing the right one. Why not you chose 10 different altcoins and invest with them $10 each. Kind of diversifying. You will get definite profits in short term itself.
