10741  Other / Off-topic / Re: Why would customers use Bitcoins? on: March 19, 2016, 04:25:57 PM
Customers don't see any CC fees, the fees are paid by the merchant. The customer only sees that with CC, he could chargeback if anything goes wrong. And, of course, the money he's spending is on free loan from the CC, so there's that.

Merchants offering substantial discounts for BTC payments (to reflect the money they are purportedly losing to CC fees/chargebacks) would motivate bitcoin use, but they rarely do.

Most of the time customers don't see any credit card fees, but some local shops charge about +3% when paying with credit/debit card which is much more honest, although it discourages to use the credit cards there. So it all come to human psychology, when you have to pay +3% on top of the purchased goods versus no fee indicted but included in every purchased item whether you pay with cash or credit/debit card.
The credit card is loaded with your bank so whenever you transact there through bank there are large number of fees and taxes charged on you also. That is why we prefer bitcoin in order to stay away from bank fees.
10742  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How do you store your bitcoins? on: March 19, 2016, 04:19:56 PM
-snip-
The same case is here but I also have xapo and coinbase for some of my uses, and I think in case of online wallets we should have a number of wallets so if one id down we can pay with the other for our services.
But online wallets are risky, it is better to have your own wallet on your PC and have full control on your coins, just think what will happen if the website where your wallet is gone down and you cannot access to your coins in time of need.
10743  Other / Off-topic / Re: du you spend coins on real life. on: March 19, 2016, 04:05:21 PM
I am waiting that godaddy start to accept bitcoin, so that with that my big problem will be solved as I don't have any paypal which is verified and so I have difficulty at there to buy any domain.
That's not a big problem. I think you don't know about namecheap domain provider. Namecheap is the biggest domain provider in the web oposite of godaddy and good thing is it accepts bitcoin as payment. You can easily register a domain through namecheap and pay from your btc wallet, enjoy shopping with bitcoin.
10744  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What "facts" you heard about Bitcoin is not true? on: March 19, 2016, 03:26:56 PM
Probably the privacy and anonymity gossip, it is still relatively private but all the transactions are visible in the network..
The actual meaning of anonymity in bitcoin is that whenever a transaction occur then the sender and receiver does not know the details of each other but they know each other from that username with which they have introduced each other.
Yeah, the transaction are viewable to all the public online, which brings insecurity for people, as with that others can find that how much money one have and is sending and receiving.
10745  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: BTCjam - Any Thoughts or Experiances on: March 17, 2016, 07:34:37 PM
In on two loans recently.

One A+ - 60 days.  Repaid well within the 60 days.
One C- - 365 days.  So far 9 of the 12 payments were made and he's only into month 3 of the loan.  So this one is in good shape too.

I've gotten lucky but I did some research before just tossing money at this (and it was a very small amount anyways).

Right now I've made more than I initially invested so I'm in the clear but I'll wait for the 2nd loan to complete before I move on to the next.

Out of interest, what sort of research did you do beyond looking at the credit rating? And what sort of interest do you earn typically?
The interest from the persons who claim for loan is about 6.7% so I think the website will give some fractions to it, so the amount will be around 4% to 5%, but it is also a better earning if he is giving high loans.
10746  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Best place to invest your bitcoin? on: March 17, 2016, 06:09:24 PM
I have a suggestion. invest your money in a blog or bitcoin related site or a faucet site., purchase a domain and hosting. hire a programmer who can do this job for you and make a site for you. and then invest some more money to advertising of this. then serve google ads on it and earn money. this is the best investment in my openion. because almost all cloudmining, hyip, and other investment sites are scam and not paying.

This sounds like a good idea. but I am not sure google adsense allows ads on faucets. What I do know is that there are plenty of other
CPM ad channels you can use to earn a quick buck. With some good linkbuilding you can get a lot of traffic to your site.
But the problem is we don't know if op has a knowledge how to make a website or faucet.. If you just you use the script of faucetbox there are many ways to hack your faucet. or your your visitors are bot.. So i don't suggest this if he didn't know how to make website.. its better to invest your money in gambling site that has investment like bitvest or betking.io.. also in moneypot.. but its risky we know house is always win so i think investing in gambling site is not so risky..
If you don’t know that how to make a website then it is not a problem as you can buy a website from any website provider company online and running a website is not a problem but the easiest way to earn big amount.
10747  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: For how much member can rent his signature? on: March 17, 2016, 06:02:38 PM
I would like to know for how much can member rent his signature, for one week , for one month.
Else we can discuss for any rank and even for negative trust.
What do you think?

you can earn 0.0182BTC = 20 posts * 7 days * 0.00013BTC perPost from YOBIT signature campaign.

but it is not just about the max you can earn, you have to make 20 posts a day while not spamming which is hard if you don't want to spend >2 hours on forum.
Yobit, prices for a smaller ranked member is much better but not for the higher ranked members . So, if you are a jr. member or a member then I also will suggest for that campaign to join.
10748  Other / Off-topic / Re: Bitcoin ranks by ownership on: March 17, 2016, 05:55:13 PM
If it's means for jokes or just something you do in free time, it's OK.
Otherwise, i think this ranks is totally crazy and flawed. You offend some people and total bitcoin doesn't mean a people is newbie or master.

I'm sure many spammer have more than 0.05BTC & there's no way someone can keep less than 1000 satoshi in their wallet.
Also, some people who has lots of bitcoin are only early adopter, not master bitcoin.
I am 100% agree with you, these names are totally crazy and flawed and no one in this time will adopt it and will like it in real, but only in this forum for fun is enough, people after leaving this thread will forget about theses names.
10749  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling. Is It Wrong? on: March 17, 2016, 01:17:06 PM
Gambling is not that wrong. It gives you fun and that is really important also. And we all know it cost a lot of money.
And many people are waiting for their luck to win some money prizes but that is really rare to win that.
Yes, it is very wrong.
Many people loose their money on it.
yeah, lol it is very bad indeed.
I also experienced a big loss today which really hurt.

if you did have fun in gambling, just tell yourself your loss is a fee to buy the fun. there are some free and easy ways to have fun, but, well,...
Yeah it is also true that it is a fee to get the fun, but sometimes it happen that a loss leave very harsh effect on health. So if a person have not put the option of lose infront of him/her they they don’t have to play.
10750  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: A teen is given $1K to invest into Bitcoin - what would you recommend for them? on: March 17, 2016, 08:56:41 AM
you just need to invest right? so, buy bitcoin at the lowes point and then sell the bitcoin at the higher point of the month, it's simple and less risk compared to trading or any other effort to grew up your bitcoin

You are absolutely right but only do simple  thing like that as you say ? how if while she/he want to do that as soon as she/he can but at the same time bitcoin price at the highest rate ? Should she/he wait the price down until lower price ? And Only stuck at that condition without do anything ? I think she/he must find many plans as reserve.
But I will recommend buying and selling bitcoins to him/her only if he/she has good knowledge about bitcoin and trading with it, otherwise he/she will not able to run in that track.
Yes, it is a good business nowadays with bitcoin, anyone who want to increase his/her bitcoin faster with less efforts he/she have to start trading with it. So learn trading and invest in there to earn more.
10751  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC price for 2016 on: March 17, 2016, 08:31:56 AM
It is sure bitcoin can't be below 500 for whole this year, i have voted for above 500 by end of this year or even near 1k.

I also believe that the price of bitcoin will surely hit 500 later this year.
And the halving will surely bring something good about the price of bitcoin.
Yes the voter for $500 are more , more people are of the view that bitcoin will rise to $500 and will cross it to increase more, as this year halving will occur and one thing is sure that an big increase will occur.
10752  Economy / Economics / Re: Government & Bitcoin on: March 17, 2016, 08:16:59 AM
I think bitcoin has no government and we are free to use it.. Only the fee as taxes we need to pay is the every transaction you made to some.. But not all wallet has a fee for every transaction you made.. like coinbase.. .No one can control bitcoin we are anonimous so we should need a freedom using bitcoin..

Yeah and those transaction fees are way too low than any other money transfer companies there. It is like 1-2 percent at those other companies unlike bitcoin. It is not that hurtful and no need for a lot of documents to show.
And because of these features I have adopted bitcoin for all of my transactions and leaved all other payment processors as they were have big transaction fee and I would have lose a big fraction in paying it.
10753  Economy / Speculation / Re: It is Buy time! on: March 17, 2016, 08:08:21 AM
-snip-
This could happen but I think it will not happen, I think you can better buy them now to be sure for the future.
If you buy them now the chance is big that you will make more profit than if you buy them later this year.
Yes, we have to believe on the price increase of bitcoin and have to buy it. It is sure that the price after halving will boost up to about $1000 or more higher. So I am buying with my fiat.
10754  Economy / Speculation / Re: I AM HODLING on: March 17, 2016, 07:01:41 AM
holding bitcoins, but is anyone holding on another other coins like ether or factom? the real question is for how long?

when everyone screams Sell, it's a great time to buy. So buy and hold the bitcoins for somelong.
Yes, the best time for buying bitcoin comes when everyone feel fear from it and start to sell his/her all coins, at that time you can find it at a much low price and can earn better with future value increase.
10755  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The Top Bitcoin Donation Addresses on: March 16, 2016, 07:59:42 PM
this is good idea to inform us about the top bitcoin donation addresses, hope some people interested in donating their bitcoin too, but let me ask, am I the only one who thinks it?
because the addresses will probably be useful if I see some bitcoins transfered by one of those addresses to my address LOL
Yes, if someone have few bitcoins and they want to find a best place to donate them then they will have to visit here and to choose that which is best place according to him/her where to donate.
10756  Other / Off-topic / Re: Bank or Bitcoin Wallet? on: March 16, 2016, 07:51:06 PM
Recently i have moved my saved money mostly to bitcoin, i have put 70% on bitcoin and 30% on my local bank for any emergency use, so currently i like more the bitcoin wallet, hope to get a bitcoin debit card soon which would be better.
bitcoin is better then banks because we can control fully our money. we don't need any ban's help to save our money and invest them. everyone is his own bank in bitcoin wallets. and now with debit card , using bitcoin is more reliable and easy.
Yes with the increasing establishment of bitcoin now we not need any bank to save and secure our money there, as bitcoin is also performing the same job, with bitcoin our money is saved securely.
10757  Economy / Economics / Re: Let's Be Honest. We Are Waiting for $100/BTC to buy on: March 16, 2016, 07:32:25 PM
People that already have Bitcoin are not waiting for that. So you must see it from different sides mate.
Of course everyone wants to buy it for a low price, but that is not so easily. And the price will rise in the future so that is very good who already have a Bitcoin.
They will wait only if they have all the technical knowledge about the bitcoin that yes after reaching to $100 the bitcoin will once again go higher to more than $500. Otherwise no one want its low price.
10758  Economy / Economics / Re: Investing Bitcoins? on: March 16, 2016, 07:23:35 PM
The best thing that you can do is just buy Bitcoin at a low price. That will be very good. Otherwise there is to much risks.
If you buy Bitcoin for a low price. Than the chance will be higher that you can have some profit later in the future.
not fully invest in bitcoin is trading buy/sell. buy when prices are low and sell when prices are high. you can do apart it mate. many bitcoin investments that can you take. in addition to trade
I will suggest that with some of his bitcoin he has to do trade so not to spend a fraction of it and with some of it start an online business like a website of any category so he can then earn by showing ads at there.
10759  Economy / Economics / Re: Why have Bitcoin instead of cash? on: March 16, 2016, 07:16:21 PM
I recently paid for some local tacos using Bitcoin. My friend who was unfamilar with Bitcoin thought it was strange, like I technically didn't pay for them or something. We got into discussing Bitcoin and one of the questions he asked me was:
"Why would you want Bitcoins instead of cash?". For a second I didn't know what to say; then I thought about it and here is what I came up with. Feel free to contribute to this.

1) More security (especially if you are careful).

2) Bitcoins are a potential investment, cash is not. Paper currency only really goes down in value, Bitcoins have a lot of potential to be worth more as time goes on.

3) Fast, worldwide transactions at your fingertips.

4) Similar to #3, but it's a universal currency. It's legal in most countries of the world and you don't need any kind of currency conversion to send money to people in a different country than your own.

i agree that it's really fast and easy to pay with, and small fees, and it is pretty safe too, while you can get more money from it if you keep your coints for while, but i can't agree with legal/illegal price, in lots of countries it's not legal sadly, and it will take years to be legal everywhere

Even if it is illegal people will continue t use it as no one can have control over it and no one would be aware what amount of bitcoins you hold in your digital wallet and that makes if more attractive then normal currency.
Yes, the government is not aware with your money , then you don’t have to pay high taxes and your money is secured in a place from where it is not stolen. We are getting ride of the support of banks.
10760  Economy / Speculation / Re: The future of Bitcoin on: March 16, 2016, 07:05:56 PM
The future of the bitcoin is very bright due to the fact the bitcoin itself is gonna be a lot bigger in the couple years.
Another thing is the halving it will let the bitcoin go higher and maybe in about a year its even gets stable.
I'm hope you are right dude. Everbody waiting for bitcoin stable high price. But i am not sure what will happen with bitcoin after halving, price can go lower then 400$ anytime
We all hope that it will have a good future. But you can never know what will happen in the future.
Because it is a currency it is so hard to predict that you never know what to do and that is the problem.
The time is not far away that bitcoin will become a famous and global currency all over the world, and at that stage the major powers and other countries will, for their success in business, adopt it and approve it for the state use.
