I'm just wondering sometimes, if Theymos will be fed up with bounty spam and will switch off signatures for a while (e.g. a year) how long would it take for these kind of guys to realize the situation... (and to accept it....)
Given the mindless and braindead level of understanding these people have they wont realize for several years and they will keep spamming with "when payment" and other bullshit without reading. Because that is what lacks in the present generation. They dont read before they speak. As a result what they speak is often BS or nonsense.

The merit system was implemented more than a half year ago, and some people are still expecting that the merit system will be shut down and they can spam the hell out of this forum again... I'm sure that most of the farmers haven't left their farmed accounts behind because they are waiting for something to happen that will change everything back like it was before...
I can guess a large number of farmed accounts to be inactive for the moment. Maybe they are trying to find out loopholes in the system. Its human nature to try to bend every rules for their own advantage.

I think they already did find loopholes, like buying merits/merit exchange, but since merit is not moderated, they still continue to abuse the system.

~snip~

Why don't you go back to your Facebook commenters job? Looks like you don't want to learn about crypto as a whole, but you are here to spam this forum and think of if this is your job. So please stop.

The fact is if you're looking for merit, you will never get it.

Just contribute and let it flow so the merit will come without being expect

But how can he contribute if he considers posting here as a job?
9882  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Bearish trend is over on: August 05, 2018, 09:02:42 AM
The bearish trend as at today isn't over as the bears are still in control of the market and they are winning the bulls. No one can accurately predict when the bulls or when the bears is coming. We can say that, everything that goes down would surely go up. So, patience is required in this industry

Who says bear trend is over. Yes, we did make a breakout run because of all the ETF hype, however, we are just feeling the effect of the Winklevoss rejection since July 31 and the price continue to decline. We are barely just above $7K and it looks like the support is not that strong either. Would love to see the price to go increased as well, but sadly the bears took control so we are not totally out of the woods by a long shot. Better expect this trend to continue up to the end of the year.
9883  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UFC 227: Dillashaw vs Garbrandt 2 Info and Prediction Thread on: August 05, 2018, 08:34:02 AM
And it's over! What a fast match for the main event, even Johnson vs Cejudo is more interesting that the main event lol. What a fight though, full 5 rounds fight and ended with split decision, Congrats for Cejudo for the new champion and Dillashaw for defending the title.

Yes, it was a split decision, however, some see it in favor of Johnson. But I see Cejudo taking the win tonight. One thing I noticed about Cejudo though is how is is very positive about taking Might Mouse out. Sure he lost the first fight but he vastly improved and that self-confidence was amazing. As expected, TJ again blasted Cody in just one round. One of the best bantams ever. Congrats to both of them.
9884  Economy / Economics / Re: hackers becoming smarter than exchanges? on: August 04, 2018, 03:00:57 PM
And they are not only getting smarter, but I speculate that those criminals are also getting younger. Kids now a days have a lot of free time and most of them are really in front of their computer and trying everything they learn in schools and underground to hack not only exchanges but other websites as well. That's why exchanges need to be on top of their games always and not blink, others hackers are just waiting for the right time to attack the vulnerabilities and then our money is gone just like that.
9885  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [UFC] The wait is over. Khabib vs Conor on: August 04, 2018, 02:39:03 PM
Finally! A next fight for Conor. Can’t wait to see him prepare for the fight. I think after his loss with Mayweather (probably just for the money fight). He is going to redeem himself with this. Let’s go!!

Initial reports say's Conor is the underdog.  Smiley. And yes, all fans are eagerly waiting for his ring return after his money fight with Floyd and what a way to announce that you are back by fighting Khabib. The fans really deserves this one and everyone is excited to see him in the Octagon again.
If he is the one considered the underdog them probably I would bet on him because I think he is really hungry for a match. Even though I’m just watching UFC for entertainment, not that much big of a fan but I would watch because he is coming back. I think that fans really deserve this.

Let's see, usually as the fight gets closer, betting lines changes as well. But yeah, you can jump it and see how it goes as the fight dates near. Perhaps Conor not active and this fight is his comeback makes bettors favor Khabib. But we all know that Khabib is a monster and every fight, his improving. It looks though that Conor has somewhat started his training or get his body warm already because his been posting a lot of pics lately with his training partner. https://twitter.com/TheNotoriousMMA
9886  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What if Coinbase and other Wallet services take all of our coins and run away? on: August 04, 2018, 02:13:08 PM
The people behind big exchanges are very public, they can't simply exit scams, because they will be wanted criminals, and it's simply not worth it even with billions in your pockets, because you won't be able to enjoy your life. Of course they could fake a hacking incident, but even that can be exposed, so big businesses are unlikely to exit scam. But there are tons of other reasons why you should never hold your coins on any types of online wallets.

And if they likely wanted to scam people, they should have done so before. So technically, it can be done by other big exchanges, but I don't think that they will do it because the risk is not worth it. Binance reported that they are closing in $1 billion already and yet they didn't do it because they can still earn a lot more than doing an exit scam. It could devastated though is such scenario happen, but I bet that every exchanges won't be tempted to do that. Unless those new exchanges aim is to scam the investors out of their money.

How about the Ann bumping thread scandal?

ICO SPAMMERS EXPOSED --> NEW SELF-MODERATED THREAD. A lot of accounts get caught in this expose including Legendary/Hero/Senior members. It was like a big fuss that time because of members giving up their alt account, just to get paid. lol.

9888  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Common Errors of Trading on: August 04, 2018, 09:10:42 AM
Here are some interesting facts about trading I stumbled across from CryptoCred which I think may be helpful
Common error to avoid when you day trade, I modified some to reflect my own opinion.

1. Revenge trading, trying to get back a trade that has been lost or chasing a trade.

2. Never using a Stop

3. Not having a plan (Risk/Entry/Exit/Stop)

4. Not sticking to your plan

5. Greed — risking too much/not taking profit

6. Being too emotional about a trade.

Plug these equity drains & increase your odds of being profitable.
You could add to the list and make better trades

I like number 3. Actually that's been my guide when I enter the world of trading. I always have that Entry and Exit strategy and if I satisfy my Exit strategy then I get out and never look back. Because once you become number 5 (greedy) all your plans will not work and you might end up losing and perhaps doing number 1 (trying to recoup your losses as a result you might not used your logical thinking but becomes number 6 (too emotional).

9890  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2019 NBA Pre-Season on: August 03, 2018, 09:57:46 PM
Embiid has always been a bit too much type of guy but unfortunately no matter how good he gets and how awesome he plays he will never be MVP levels of good. The game just evolved away from the big guy and there is no way it comes back thanks to embiid. Embiid is a great force down in the post but the game is just too quick to allow embiid to have the time he needs to play with the ball.

Shaq had that hakeem had that all the big greats had that, they didn't had the game fire too quickly in the shot clock. We need to see a way of changing the way sixers play and whole league needs to not adapt to what sixers are doing in order to even put Embiid on the discussion. Right now we had a russell westbrook who made a second tripple double season in a row that lost to james harden on mvp race. Winning mvp is that much hard.

Yes I agree that the game has evolved and its more focus on shooting on the outside rather that giving the ball on the middle and let the Center get inside, and if he is trap, or double team, pass the ball outside. Now, its the other way around, and more of a alley hoop pass to the Center. That's why is difficult for Sixers and Joel to win a championship at this level of competition. Team should have a deadly shooter like Curry, or Harden, or a big guard/forward like Lebron is. Look at what happened to Anthony, wasn't able to re-invent himself that's why he is no longer the player we expect him to be.
9891  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Bitcoin - a financial pyramid: true or myth? on: August 03, 2018, 06:47:50 PM
Having a product or something like that is a significant difference. Speaking of bitcoin, it is difficult to draw any conclusions. Not so simple.

But definitely, can't be considered as a financial pyramid by definition. You can invest anytime you what, and you don't need to market it by any sense. And its up to you how much money you going to put up. And no single person is benefiting if you are going to trade (buy/sell). The appropriate term should be "investment portfolio", in my opinion. Because the moment you buy, you hold that assets, which in this case bitcoin. And you have total control of it + privatekey in your wallet.
9892  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Tennis League All Thread on: August 03, 2018, 04:26:44 PM
I saw Murray playing against Edmund and he is still far from being 100%. Lets hope that everything improves well and that he doesn't retire which would be a pitty for the tennis.

There was news circulating that he might withdraw in the Citi Open because it was around 3 am when he finished a match against Copil. He complained about the schedule that caused his match to start around midnight. Maybe there's a reason for the delay. Or perhaps he is not used to play this late. Murray is still on a lot of emotional stress as evident of his crying after winning the match.
9893  Economy / Economics / Re: Billionaire Steven Cohen to invest in crypto focused Autonomous Partners fund on: August 02, 2018, 11:44:32 PM

1. He will be investing in a privately managed hedge fund and none of his funds will flow to the actual crypto market. So we will not see any fresh funds flowing in to the market from his investment.

So this is bothering thing here and may not affect the crypto currency at all. However it is still can be considered as positive news because under his investment and his influence other investors might take the opportunity of positive vibes and may invest in the crypto projects. Though he is putting the money in private managed hedge fund then also it is beneficial as it is all about the crypto projects at the end. Lets just see by ourself when the steps are followed and the money is flooded in this kind of hedge.

Its still a welcoming news for crypto to see big names joining the market. And for those newbies, they might sway to put more money when they read such kinds of news. They might FOMO so I think it can be considered as positive news.

This is good news, surely people will flock to follow. this can also make the name cryptocurrency more familiar, especially known by the followers of Steven Cohen. hopefully many of his followers are interested in cryptocurrency.

Its a win-win situation. I'm sure being a billionaire, he has this influence on his team and followers. Of course, we still make the final decision and should not listen to others, but someone with the stature of Cohen, can draw inspirations and can be a media influencer just like John McAfee is. And he can stay relevant in the news as well. Grin
9894  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Win on Horse Racing on: August 02, 2018, 11:20:17 PM
In my opinion, the odds of winning on horse racing is possibly quite low because one has to have a substantial knowledge about the game, horse and rider altogether.
Horse racing is a very difficult sport to predict, not only you have two different actors, in the form of the horse and the rider, but you need to take into consideration the weather, the conditions of the track, the position from which each horse starts the race, their previous results, the distance and even more difficult factors like where the horses are in terms of their peak performances, and at the end you need to process all of that information and put it in regular odds to try to determine if you are being offered a good deal in terms of odds by the casino, and you need to do all of that only to have a decent chance to win.

You are totally right, its very difficult to predict the winner, but that's what make it more exciting, imagine your analysis was right on the money. At least you don't based on luck alone, there are factors that you need to look at just like what you said. And what's more exciting is that putting a small bet on a horse that nobody though would win and what are the odds? And then you suddenly hits the jackpot. Lol. Me and my friends would also travel on a weekends to see live horse racing if there's some kind of special events here.

You also didn't say when the account is hacked, but it looks like the account has been in several signature/bounty campaigns in the last couple of months.

9896  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UFC 227: Dillashaw vs Garbrandt 2 Info and Prediction Thread on: August 02, 2018, 10:15:01 PM
Garbrandt has something to prove to the MMA fans so he will try his best to win this fight, however odds makers sided on Dillashaw to win this fight. I think this fight will last the full 5 rounds as both fighters will try not to be knocked down. Dillashaw will give his best effort to keep the title. I used nitrogensports to place my bet on Garbrandt.

He is motivated that's for sure. I rewatched the first fight and It Cody is really quick however TJ has a lot of weapons in his arsenal like legs kicks that did the initial damaged in round 2 made him wobbly until he was caught and TJ jumped on him. I don't think the fight will last 5 rounds though, they will still go at it with the intention of getting a KO specially Cody.
9897  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Share your dice strategy on: August 02, 2018, 08:45:29 PM
Hey guys!
i need some new strategies
my bank: 0.5
share yours  Grin

Play manual dont auto play, I know that's the same  Tongue but when I played it manual I could feel my luck is better than auto play. Try to search on google there's a lot of settings dice game that you can try but some of them probably need more high amount to start to prevent instant lose  Wink

I agree with this. If you don't want to lose all your money fast, do your bets manually. Regarding strategies, I personally prefer high multipliers, because they are not as deceiving as 1.012x for example, which makes you think that you can always win with it, while just two consecutive losses can make you lose all your balance, if you increase your bet around thousand times on lose, like many people do, thinking that it's impossible to have 2 reds in row with 98% win chance.

Actually that's how we started, at least in my case. I also do manual betting. But as we gained experience, we used bots that will make our lives easier. So when I'm in a losing streak, I can pause and do it manually to somewhat see if I can break the pattern. And it feels good and exciting using manual and see it goes for you.
9898  Economy / Economics / Re: Upcoming economic crisis - crypto safe haven like gold or not? on: August 01, 2018, 08:43:10 PM
Some individuals can't afford to buy physical golds. So as casuals we are only left with one choice but to go to crypto. Only thing though is that crypto hasn't proved anything if its really a good hedge for a economic crisis so there's a big risk. But personally, I'm more willing to take that risk and see how it goes if ever a financial crisis strikes us again. At least we have something that can give us hope in case something worst happen.
9899  Economy / Speculation / Re: Why Bitcoin will not hit 20000 soon? on: August 01, 2018, 08:23:07 PM
Bitcoin's growth began in early 2017 and then it touch 20000. Bitcoin's largest growth is due to the ability to trade with tether dollar. With this growth, a huge growth in ICOs appeared. Nowadays about 30 ICOs are added to the market. This huge volume of ICOs, has taken the power of bitcoin growth. Like weeds next to a tree. Bitcoin will not grow until ICOs exists.

I think your argument is flawed. ICO growth has nothing to do with this bearish trend. Obviously, bitcoin reaches its peaked and is a bubble waiting to be burst which happened eventually. That's why we witnessed this bearish season and it will take some time (probably next year) to see bitcoin consolidate and make another run. It has nothing to do with ICO projects being born everyday. The bearish trend is inevitable.
9900  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Bitcoin now below 8000 time to buy now on: August 01, 2018, 08:00:44 PM
Well this time it's good time to buy bitcoin now the price is $7,500 just do short trade only, once bitcoin increase $8,000+ then you sell bitcoin, at least you earn a profit.

That's been the strategy of most experience traders specially when we entered the bear season. However, I'm not well adept with this method so I will try to stay away but just buy bitcoin when it dip and get myself to accumulate more and HODL on it and wait for the perfect time to sell. Might take a year though because I personally doesn't think that we can recover and even reaches all-time-high this year. But yes, its still a good buying point if bitcoin remains below $8K for the next few days.
