9921  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: If using cryptocurrencies become a crime, will you be a criminal? on: August 26, 2015, 07:34:35 AM
I don't think so.
If you invest your own time and money in something that has not been regulated in most countries, it can not be equated with crime.
Could I be wrong about doing something that my government does not know and has no legislation for it?
Bitcoin itself is not good or bad, nor any other currency in the world, but the purpose of using that currency may be good or bad, but that's another story.

9922  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why the hell are people still selling at these prices? on: August 26, 2015, 07:21:41 AM
Very interesting question.
Based on my experience, I can say that people rarely behave rationally when it comes to money.
Instead of rational decision-making, on the basis of intellect and reason, people are usually influenced by their emotions.
This state of mind is hard to explain but it is the effect of the so-called '' herd '' where panic overwhelms reason and all frantically trying to save their money, but actually destroy their financial future.
That's why people like Warren Buffet, who knows how to control his emotions, and always behave rationally, dominate the stock exchange.
In my opinion, now is very good time to buy BTC, not to sell but I'm afraid nobody will listen it.
9923  Other / Politics & Society / Re: American heroes discuss how they foiled train attack in France on: August 24, 2015, 03:21:21 PM
This story is a great example of civic courage and responsibility.
Thanks to their courage the great tragedy is avoided.
America can really be proud of their sons.
However, it would be good to have official protection (security) of passengers on such journeys in the future.
9924  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What is big problem in using of bitcoin on: August 24, 2015, 03:13:56 PM
what problem do you have in bitcoin.

Problems in using it? None to be honest. But this might be the reason because as we all here, that I am pretty interested in new technologies and learn fast how to use things. But it took me a while to grasp how it all works out I have to mention.

Yes, very good point.
Most people have never heard of Bitcoin or wants to hear.
It's hard to explain to people what is bitcoin and they are quite skeptical about it.
Also, in my country there are not many places where they can spend a bitcoin, and we have only one bitcoin ATM in whole country.
While this does not change, I do not think there will be a lot of bitcoin users in my country, and also many merchants that accept Bitcoin.
9925  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why this is the BTC most difficult time on: August 24, 2015, 03:01:33 PM

We always had leaders in Bitcoin. Saying something else is just romantic BS.
The current problem is: We don't agree on who our leader is.

Decentralization/consensus is a nice wet dream, but in the end it just can't work.
Say we need 90% of the mining power to make a change: That means a charismatic leader, who influences 11% of the mining network, can block every change.

That's the whole point in my humble opinion: I supposed that we did not need any of this crap since BTC was "backed by mathematics"
But we have people here who want to play with mathematics.
And eventually we might end up like the crappy Wall Street world: when they started to play with mathematics introducing the latest high tech finance we all know where we went.

By the way, thanks to who replied: this always helps to shed some light on the matter.

This whole "backed by mathematics"-business is also just romantic BS.
It's obvious, that with technology like Bitcoin, which could be a real game changer, that there will be political decisions, eventually.
And you just can't solve a political question with mathematics.

Yes, you are right and I'm concerned about it.
Whenever politicians are involved in something, nothing good comes out of it Smiley
Politicians generally protect the interests of their financiers, banks and industrialists, and have no reason to protect bitcoin or officially accept it.
It is unlikely that large banks ever accept bitcoin officially because they know that it ruins their business in the long run.
This is sad reality currently.

9926  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Public still largely unaware of what Bitcoin is, how to use it and how to obtain on: August 23, 2015, 10:04:27 AM
I agree with you.
When I look people around me, my friends, co-workers, neighbors, almost none of them knows anything about Bitcoin nor are they interested to know.
For them, the highlight of the Internet is to send e-mail to someone, talk via Skype, share photos from holidays on Facebook and those who are using Internet banking are considered to be advanced internet users Smiley
Of course, bitcoin is not so widespread in my country.
This is likely to change when bitcoin becomes mainstream in the near future but until now I'm afraid people here will remain very skeptical about it.

Is A Slow Putsch Against Putin Under Way?

A quarter century after the fall of the USSR, Kremlinologists sense a putsch in the air, despite Vladimir Putin’s overwhelming approval ratings. The tea leaves say that the Kremlin elite, dubbed by some as Politburo 2.0, is currently deciding whether Putin should go before he makes a bad situation worse. The founder of the respected daily Kommersant predicts that a dramatic change is about to take place and advises Russians who have the means to leave the country for a month or so and take their children with them.

http://www.forbes.com/sites/paulroderickgregory/2015/08/20/is-a-slow-putsch-against-putin-under-way/

I don't believe such reports.
For Russians the size and strength of their country was always more important than their own economic situation.
Putin gave them just that and woke up again strong national sentiments and patriotism.
It is obvious that Putin has no serious opposition in the country at this moment.
When oil prices began to rise again, his position will further strengthen, as well as the country's economy.
Such stories are just speculation or desires of Western analysts and politicians but have no real basis.
9928  Other / Politics & Society / Re: France train shooting: Europe on high alert after attack by heavily armed gunman on: August 23, 2015, 07:57:57 AM
I'm afraid that we will have such incidents much more in the Europe, unfortunately.
ISIS has indoctrinated many young Muslims in Europe with its ideology, and now this ''lonely wolves'' becomes a big security threat for all of us.
Also, some of their fighters are also coming back in Europe and it's impossible to control all of them.
This time we had a lot of luck because of the great courage of US Marines but what will happen next time?
Very dangerous times are coming for the whole of Europe.
9929  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What is your dream for bitcoin? What will it become? on: August 23, 2015, 07:48:36 AM
Very good question.
I believe that bitcoin will become a major world currency alternative in the future.
We will have bitcoin ATM all over the world, and bitcoin will be accepted in every store, a cafe, to pay bills etc.
Bitcoin value will be at least 10 times higher and we will have a big profit from it.
Many will be able to leave their regular jobs and live by bitcoin.
It may be better to stop dreaming Smiley
9930  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Are you holding your bitcoin for a price increase? on: August 23, 2015, 07:37:19 AM
I personally believe that most bitcoin users doing just that (including me) Smiley
I believe that most people buying bitcoin with the desire to earn and not to use it for shopping.
Unfortunately, the value of Bitcoin is still unstable to be widely accepted by retailers or other customers.
9931  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Eutanasia? on: August 21, 2015, 12:52:38 PM
This is a very sensitive and difficult subject of which should be carried out professional and serious discussion.
Who can actually decide on euthanasia?
Each of us individually?
Doctor?
The Court?
Who has the right to decide on life and death?
If someone is depressed and thinking about suicide, he/she can also change mind and give up from the suicide, isn't it?
Such serious and irreversible decision should not be made too easy and without professional control.
9932  Other / Politics & Society / Re: North Korea Gets Ready For War on: August 21, 2015, 12:38:43 PM
I think there is no danger that this incident turn into new war.
What happened is a common situation that is repeated every year at this time.
Kim must show strength and power, and prove to his citizens that he is still strong and unyielding and has everything under control.
Such situations are excellent for mobilization of hungry and desperate people in N. Korea.
This situation is an artificially caused for the purpose of Kim and his regime, and certainly will not escalate into a new war.
9933  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I lost my bitcoin address please help! on: August 21, 2015, 12:26:08 PM
I lost my wallet   please change my address
my new bitcoin address is  1LStHUdUYTYtkBDxJ44Yr7no5y1aNytQUE

You can have bitcoin addresses as much as you want, unlimited.
If you didn't have any bitcoin in this wallet, forget about it and open new one Smiley
If you had some bitcoin, remember where you used this bitcoin address and ask recipient or company for help.
Check out also your emails.
9934  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What's your biggest problem with Bitcoin on: August 21, 2015, 12:22:21 PM
I have a few problems with bitcoin.
In my country there are only a few places where you can buy or spend bitcoin.
I can't report earnings from bitcoin to the tax authorities, they still did not anticipate such earnings in their respective taxation laws Smiley
Recently, we got first bitcoin ATM in the country, but this is not enough, of course.
I had to wait for the last transaction confirmation a few hours.

9935  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Only $60 trillion in debt world wide ... on: August 20, 2015, 07:33:12 AM
I think that this is very serious issue today but it seems that politician don't care much about it.
Whenever the government needs more money to fulfill some pre-election promises, Politicians always take out new loans and debt spiral is extended.
It is clear that this can not go on forever and that there will be a financial collapse in the future.
If it is true that China controls a majority of US debt then it is a serious cause for concern.
I think it is high time that the Western states cease to live in debt and become more accountable to their citizens and future generations.
9936  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Sexuality on: August 20, 2015, 07:25:18 AM
If this is a steady climb towards less people being hetro with each generation, what is driving it? Environmental or Propaganda?
Is this natures way of controlling the herd!

There is not enough evidence to prove your argument. The LGBT population might be increasing in the United States, European Union, Australia and Canada, but it is declining everywhere else (Russia, China, India, Africa.etc). Large number of LGBT people from countries such as Iran and Russia are immigrating to the US and EU. That might be one of the reasons for the increasing LGBT population there.

I think you're wrong.
The fact that the LGBT population is growing in some countries, and in some decreases, in my opinion does not reflect the true state of affairs.
Where there are no legal restrictions and negativity of society, and where they have the freedom of expression, members of the LGBT community does not have to hide and therefore statistics show an increase in their overall population.
Where they are legally prosecuted they are hiding and authorities don't know their total number.
If this is a steady climb towards less people being hetro?
I don't think so.
I think that in the past and now we always had LGBT people among us, just we didn't talk about it before as we talk today.
Now, we are talking a lot about this issue so it seems that we have now less hetro and more LGBT but this is wrong conclusion in my opinion.
Of course, because of propaganda today many young people are confuse about their sexual identity and need help.

9937  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do you think Bitcoin makes revolution on money transfer market ? on: August 20, 2015, 07:06:28 AM
I will share my personal experience.
When I tried to send money to my friend in Nepal, it proved to be a very difficult and complicated task.
He is not near the bank or post office so I couldn't choose Western Union.
He also can't open paypal and have Visa cards for India and Nepal only, not international (and he can't get international VISA card).
They even don't have often electricity and internet during day so on the end I suggested him to open bitcoin wallet.
In this way he could finally receive money.
So, from my experience, yes, bitcoin really makes revolution on money transfer market Smiley
9938  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What is your Bitcoin birthday? on: August 20, 2015, 06:59:48 AM
2010-07-12.

I received 5 BTC from Gavin's faucet.  I generated my first block the following day.

WOW 5 BTC, I wish I could be in your shoes Smiley
I don't remember exactly when I first time heard about BTC, probably in 2012 or beginning of 2013 but I was skeptic in the beginning and didn't join.
When I heard more news about it, specially when my friend told me how much money he earned in BTC I finally become serious and joined in April or May 2014.
Now, I'm sorry I was not involved much earlier Smiley

9939  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Is ISIS Proof that Islam has Failed at Peace? on: August 19, 2015, 11:30:31 AM
Some questions that have been on my mind, due to the discussions taking place on this board and the happenings in the Middle East:

1.  Is the rise of ISIS proof that Islam's "official" message of peace has failed?
1.A.  Is a message of "peace" consistent with any religious group that claims a monopoly on the path to salvation, or is any violence in the name of a religion justifiable within the context of that religion's value system?

2.  If "official" Islam preaches peace, why is a rogue sect of Islam with a violent ideology proving so successful in spreading such a blatantly anti-Islamic message to people who self-identify as Muslim?

3.  Who is ultimately responsible for self-identified Muslims who propagate violence in the name of Islam?
3.A.  In the marketplace of competing ideas, if the violent rogue ideology is more popular than the "official" peaceful ideology among people who call themselves Muslims in a given geographic area, does that suggest a failure of the peaceful ideology or the leaders of the peaceful ideology to engage these self-proclaimed Muslims and win their hearts and minds?

4.  If we call ISIS' form of Islam false, what does it matter if they receive popular support from self-identified Muslims? (i.e. does subscribing to a violent version of Islam make them non-Muslims?)
4.A.  How can a group self-identify as Muslim or Islamic and hold values that differ so greatly from what other Muslims consider to be legitimate to the religion?

Thoughts/answers to the above?

Very interesting questions.
I will try to answer.
1. In my opinion, ISIS don't represent Islam in any way. They are just using their name for their own, selfish purpose.
2. Every religion talks about peace but the ultimate responsibility for peace depends on the rulers, and each person individually
3. Yes, you are right, but here we can also see the failure of Western countries and the idea of multiculturalism in general.
4. No
4 A Hatred and bitterness can do much to change people's consciousness and turn them to violence as a solution to all problems.
9940  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Chinese police arrest 15,000 for Internet crimes on: August 19, 2015, 11:20:31 AM
In such closed societies with a one-party political dictatorship, the greatest danger is the truth and information, and the Internet is the ideal means for free communication and spreading the truth.
China has major economic freedom and the free market but will never allow political freedom and democratic elections.
The question is how much the young people in China are aware of the reality in which they live and how much they are prepared to fight for change and true freedom.
The state can control the media and the Internet but can't control the minds and consciousness of its citizens.
