9921  Economy / Exchanges / Re: prices drops , why btce.us still has 1600USD? on: March 17, 2017, 07:39:04 AM
There will be no wonder, why some exchanges are having different price levels for bitcoins.
It is just based on the demand from the traders of those exchanges. When some exchanges offer more number of different payment options, traders will prefer them and hence we can expect different demand levels to make the prices to differ with rest of exchanges.

Hey wait, why this exchange has similar name to famous btc-e.com ? Do this site has announcement/support topics here in btcointalk (I tried but I could not find any). It would be highly recommended NOT TO USE a service which is not maintaining active threads in bitcointalk.
9922  Other / Meta / Re: BitCoinTalk.PW (Bitcointalk Proxy Website) on: March 17, 2017, 07:03:03 AM
Hope everyone is aware of the long running https://fanbitcoin.com, mirror site of bitcointalk. I guess now are getting another one.

But I remember, people were reporting about their madness on forgetting to check the URL in browser and trying to log in fanbitcoin with bitcointalk credentials. (Then they were advised to change their password immediately to secure their accounts). Having a mirror site might create unnecessary struggles some times. Need to take care accordingly.

edit: fanbitcoin is not working for me. I guess that is the reason we got another mirror services ?
9923  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What we learned from the Bitcoin ETF denial on: March 17, 2017, 06:43:36 AM
It's been clearly portrayed about the need of the systematic review and a central functional regulations and oversight are important for the health of any marketplace and safety of all it's investors. Also indicated it as an temporary one, later on the adoption might change the scenario.
Yes, with SEC's explanation I feel it would be too early to go for bitcoin etf. Government seeks regulations on every assets of bitcoin ecosystem but basically bitcoin works in different way like we the individuals need to take care of ourselves as there will be no central authority to regulate each and every aspects associated with bitcoin in uniform manner.

When mass adoption will be occurring and hence hitting mainstream makes bitcoin a perfect decentralised system without any common regulations. I believe in those times there will be no need of ETFs as bitcoin prices will be doing more than enough at those times.

I guess fundamentally bitcoin never needs to be traded in an exchange, just to attract the investors. Because there are already enough adapters cum investors keep on coming for the same purposes.
9924  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC back to 1,200+ on: March 16, 2017, 07:10:36 AM
I mean even after the ETF decision, the price is still hanging around at that $1200+ level which is really just amazing in my opinion as there was a lot of speculation leading up to the decision and everyone thought that the price was going to the floor once the decision got rejected.
In my opinion, there will be no wonder about the stability of bitcoin prices as bitcoin ETF would have been acting as an external forces which could push bitcoin prices further but definitely not a fundamental one which supports bitcoin prices. Just SEC rejected etf application but people worry pretending like government gives a negative statement about bitcoin ecosystem.

There will be future ETF decisions but i don't think they will matter as much after what i've seen this time round.
Again you go wrong. Any company's bitcoin ETF certainly will help bitcoin prices to appreciate. I believe in near future more companies will start showing interest on issuing bitcoin ETFs. In those times we can expect bitcoin prices start flying to moon.
9925  Economy / Speculation / Re: SegWit losing Bitcoin Unlimited winning -> Moon soon on: March 16, 2017, 06:21:57 AM
i am not sure about what are the downsides of bigger blocks but to answer your question, bigger blocks means more transactions in one block and a higher total fee miners can get hence a higher profit. and more importantly it means scaling to match the need of 2017 not remain the same thing as it was back in couple years ago and can lead to more adoption, higher price and again more profit.
You are talking about long-term benefits of bigger block size for all the people of bitcoin ecosystem. But miners prefer smaller blocks as of now for their own benefits like they can enjoy higher transaction fees along with usual mining rewards.

Bigger locks will pick more transactions hence there will be no huge amounts of pending transactions so people will start enjoying lower tx fees. But miners will suffer high resources needed for their mining processes.
The mass adoption and price increase will not happen in a week nor month but miners need to face losses (compared to their today's benefits) till price increase will happen.

In future (after one or two halving) miners will start earning more tx fees than block rewards hence they will always aim for higher tx fees than higher bitcoin prices.
9926  Economy / Speculation / Re: What keeps Bitcoin price stable? on: March 16, 2017, 04:08:29 AM
Price rising =  rumours + good news
Price going down =  bad news + panic selling + whales cashing out

But what factors keep Bitcoin price stable?
As per your explanation, why not we assume that prices of bitcoin is trading stable when there is no good nor bad news. Within a day, we cannot claim prices are stable because it does fluctuate at least $50 span like day's high to day's low. When are considering about a week's average prices, we can say people are holding their bitcoins tight and new mining reward bitcoins are more being bough by new investors (as well by existing bitcoiners/investors ).

Unlike a stock market, bitcoin's supply is happening every ~10 minutes, hence we cannot expect a stable prices. It will fluctuate as per demand.
9927  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Hosting a gambling site on: March 14, 2017, 07:30:44 AM
I would prefer big companies like Amazon but certainly will check out!
Amazon is a big company and actually renting their cloud would cost high and they would ask you to provide proper documents about your casino which you might not be able to provide given you have a bitcoin casino. I guess sites can be hosted on hundreds of providers and actually Moneypot is a enormous site under which a lot of sites run and hence they decided to switch knowing the terms of heroku.

will take a look at the list of potential other hosting services
If your host is safe enough than there is no need to go for big names, being safe is the biggest priority apart from host being online all the time. Just google and find the one that suits your needs beyond the suggested services.
9928  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Whether anyone believe???? on: March 14, 2017, 06:00:48 AM
Whether you believe if you Continuously Buying The same number, one day you can win the lottery. there i read some stories much people can being rich by using this way.
Yes, certainly you can win and become rich, but not sure 'when'. lol . This is how your luck will work for you in gambling all the times.

Your lifetime may not be enough to find those winning moments and to become rich. So you need to be very careful while deciding whether you may go for trying these or not.

Interestingly, this strategy will work perfect with any number and does not need to be same number for all the attempts. Because this is how your luck factor will work for the luck based games. I could say trying only one number is just a proof of misconception about how your luck is working.
9929  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What will happen to bitcoins in an online wallet with lost password? on: March 11, 2017, 11:18:59 AM
On the other hand if we tall about an exchange wallet such as coinbase then its a little different story as they do not give access to your private key so they  'may' have access to your bitcoin.
Hopefully they will not touch those bitcoins until they run their business legit. For the case of Xapo, we will have the same amount of bitcoins until they are into the business.

There will be no big differences for the case of forgetting password with online wallets nor standalone wallets. Our bitcoin will remain unspent in most of the cases.

I read our central bank has millions worth of money unclaimed on numerous accounts as account holders discontinue banking for various reasons.Hence this will not be a new situation just due to bitcoin nor bitcoin's online wallet functionality. If you ask your insurer about unclaimed insurance amounts, you might get shocked.
9930  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: BLOG ON BITCOIN on: March 11, 2017, 10:45:30 AM
I remember we did get such works from bitcoiners in late 2013. Now again people started working on how attracting new people into bitcoin ecosystem. Good work OP.

I have already bookmarked and definitely I will refer your blogs to the people who are asking about the basics of bitcoins.

I got few suggestions:
- Investment opportunities of bitcoins. How limited supply may do magics.
- Try to add how we can earn bitcoins and where we can spend bitcoins. People will love it.
- Add Chapter-2 for intermediate audiences. Like mining opportunities, how strong bitcoin encryption is, etc.
- How to buy/sell bitcoins using different payment options and using fiats.
9931  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why Bitcoins is now same as paypal(and worst) on: March 11, 2017, 09:49:10 AM
Bitcoin can never be compared with PayPal. Bitcoin and PayPal are different forms of payment source with different features. Possibly I believe PayPal will serve good for business people and for other needs bitcoin seems to be the best. Cannot describe PayPal and bitcoin to be the worst.
Any bitcoin lover will never prefer to compare bitcoin system to PayPal still OP is trying to emphasize the current scenarios of high network fees being paid. There were trends people did transact hundreds of dollars worth of bitcoins with less than 10 cent fee but now we need around $1 to get quick confirmations. But I am not ready to agree that bitcoin is same as PayPal just due to this.

The current higher network fee will lead to more profits to miner which might make people to enter into mining business. When more miners into business, we can expect raising of block size may happen. So, in between time we need to bear higher fees.
9932  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I have an idea. Need suggestions. on: March 11, 2017, 08:22:27 AM
Indeed a good idea! yes agriculture in india is a profitable if you have land because of easy availability of skilled cheap Labour and government incentives.
And giving shares to various people would mean that he simply owns a virtual company where he has worth of his farm and that increases or maybe decreases each day and hence allowing a lot of investors with him. Though I am not sure if a coin would be better here since a coin needs mining and all, and doing an ICO is not much useful these days.

@OP
I really respect that you have a serious moto behind creating a coin but basically like many of the technical guys suggested here that you should make an asset rather than a coin which is what I also advice you.
Now wondering where to start ? You may consider using Burstcoin for this feature.
9933  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Bitcoin ETF approval and alts. on: March 11, 2017, 06:58:24 AM
Disapproved, celebration time, c'monn. Green lights for altcoins. I was really in depression during the hard rise of Bitcoin but I was aware that after ETF will be disapproved alts will pump hard.
But the bitcoin still need the correction for their price. and i think we will see the bitcoin is back again into the middle level and leave the bottom.
Bitcoin prices may test below $1000 levels in upcoming days but I am not sure that would be the signal for altcoin bumps. The big problem with altcoin is, usually they do fail to keep their investors and traders attracted toward it all the times. Investors and traders keep on switching into new coins all the times then how you can expect prices to bounce back.

New altcoins will keep on hit the market and people will invest and book profit and then will forget when they see another new altcoins. So far this is the history how altcoins market worked and if history repeats itself then we can keep on seeing blood bath everywhere of alt markets.
9934  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: How far do you think ETH will go? on: March 10, 2017, 11:43:09 PM
I put in about $100 into ETH yesterday and plan on putting another $100 in today. Last I checked, it was around $3 per ETH and now it's at $19 which is absolutely great.

How many of you have invested in ETH and how far do you think it will go in the next couple of years?
Ethereum is once currency you might see will be on song after the recent confirmation issues.
I have a group where we discuss about bitcoins and a lot of members there recently started using Eth as an alternative of bitcoins for fast confirmations. Though I am not among them. So, as far as I can see the price is expected to rise only in coming time.
9935  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What is the amount of BTC required for a professional trade? on: March 10, 2017, 11:07:41 PM
Because if both professional and ordinary traders will just need only small amount of capital, then we can simply conclude for being professional in trading, all we need is just techniques for profit making. But I just wonder how we can make big profits without big capital ?
It is obvious, to make big profits we need big capital, but there are many trading techniques to make big profits out of small capitals. Usually these are the practices of well experienced traders just to reduce their risk.

It will be possible like, we need to choose the right entry point and right exit point. If you are aware of how to enter and exit at the perfect levels, I guess you will become a professional trader. In my experiences, we definitely do not need big amount of capital to perform trading in professional way. In other words it is definitely not related to the amount of BTC you are using for trading.
9936  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: The Best Time to Become a Trader on: March 10, 2017, 04:02:42 PM
Soon, though, I became aware that there was an even bigger game available to players like me.Regardless of how great a trader you ever become, you can always get better . When the stock market opens at 9:30 AM, there is a lot of volatility during the first half hour of trading.
Its a fact and very true words those " every day you learn with trading " and this is what makes a trader from amateur to pro trader. I think trading just does not means that we make the best of decisions and we earn the most.

Trading means knowing everything about the market and even if you make a prediction wrong does not mean that you are bad at trading, if you calculated right thats fine just you were unlucky. Certainly the best time to become a trader is when you have no jobs and you have a hunger to earn !
9937  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: I have about 50$ where to invest ? on: March 10, 2017, 03:53:11 PM
If i have 50$, I will choose to invest it in trading bitcoin/altcoin I will buy and hold bitcoin. Because right now bitcoin is increasing its price and for sure we can earn or gain profit. But ofcourse before we  start trading, learn first some techniques.
Actually $50 is a low amount and rather than investing anywhere else I would have surely taken one of the two decisions, either I would just invest all of it in the bitcoins itself to do some price trading or I would spot a nice altcoin ( actually the ICO 's are best for me ) and invest all my coins there, in case of altcoins trading I would just sell them all once the price is at least worth $60

In the case of my first investment with such $50, I am also will be looking for investment opportunities very carefully. But in next next times I may get less interest for choosing opportunities carefully that is the reason scammers are getting their chances.

OP: Do your reserach carefully and find your satisfying options.
9938  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Anyone ever stop gambling? but then gamble again? on: March 10, 2017, 03:37:25 PM
Most of the gambling addicts decided to stop gambling and then they just resumed the gambling activities just a few days after.
It is not an easy mission to quit gambling and most of the people who quits will return to gamble at some point in their life.

Totally correct, no one can leave from gambling and for who already quit, they will come back to gambling again in the day whose they never know and i believe only who have a faith that can leave from gambling.
I have left gambling now and let's see how many days I can resist myself. I am not a hardcore gambler but after estimating my earnings since last 3 months and the money I have now, I came to know that I busted quite too much.

I have made several promises to myself in past for leaving gambling but none worked, hopefully this time I can really quit gambling. And hey guys by quit I mean I can happily gamble 0.001 daily so I will still gamble little amounts but trying to cut down the addiction and the big losses.
9939  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Play with your profit or not? on: March 10, 2017, 03:22:01 PM
I always do this. If I made a profit with my deposit I only play with the profit. This the way I like to play most of the time.
By doing this I know I am not going to lose a lot of money because I only make one deposit each time I play.

if you only play with the profit then if you are win in next round, i guess you only get small profit too. i think you need to try to play with your base bet so you can save your profit and if you win, you can collect your profit until you can withdraw it. but maybe you are enjoy to do this and its the best for you when you are playing gambling.
Whenever I get my salary I turn a healthy amount of it for gambling and this is what I do, now you can call it whatever you like I call it playing with profits and is an awesome way.

I make a deposit of 1 bitcoins and make 3 bets with 99 % win chance with 0.1 bitcoins, usually I win them and then I have 0.0025 approx free bitcoins to roll around which I do and get more bitcoins. Just last week I lost 1 bet with that 0.1 at 99% win chance and that didn't bothered me much too since I earned this much by now.
9940  Economy / Services / Re: VPN Engine - Launch your own VPN Service Easily! on: March 10, 2017, 02:40:56 PM
You rent servers from different locations, worldwide.
Your package comes with any VPN server locations ?
How much it will cost to set up one VPN server in USA?
Basically my doubt is how to do this server set up in one foreign location where I am not having any friend nor business contact.

I guess setting up VPN servers across different geo-locations is more important for this business so that we could market a VPN services as basically subscribers look for more number of location options.
