You are correct actually, my apologies. I went by the time I got the email notification, but looking at the posting time you are right Smiley
I will send you a PM and we can move forward.

Sorry welshcollectibles about the misunderstanding. I will start with M++ and work my way down the list if anyone flakes out.

The auction ended yesterday at 10pm though, so welshcollectibles is the winner, if I am to be fair.

welshcollectibles, please send me a PM and we can proceed with using MJ as the escrow.

Oh Really?  Grin Ok too bad I was thinking it was ok 10pm central  I just posted few minutes before the end of the auction I think? NP if it's not the case, but central is my timezone too and I have posted right before the end IMO

That is an old list... you should use a newer list that has been updated recently:

thanks

Thank you for providing the new list, I will use that Smiley

I am good with using an escrow but I would like to use someone on this list https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=855778.0 where I can research their thread and conclude they are trustworthy. No offense to anyone intended, I am just new to this forum/community and don't know people yet, so I have to rely on available research. Does that sound reasonable?

Edit: I am not sure why the image tag just shows the url for me, and does not embed the picture instead, sorry about that Sad

Apparently the forum does not like Flickr image links, so here is the url to the album containing the pictures of the coin:

Description:
Up for auction is a 2012 Version 2 1-BTC Casascius Brass coin. Firstbits are 1CsY3YVn. You can check and see that it has not been used at all (https://casascius.uberbills.com). I got it as a gift from a co-worker into bitcoins back in the day and it just sat in a bag on the shelf for years.

Starting bid:
1 BTC

End date and time:
Sunday, May 28th, 10:00 pm Central.

Payment methods accepted:
1) Bitcoin
2) US dollars via wire transfer, any fees to be paid by buyer
Additional information:
As I am new to this forum, I am up for using an escrow provider for everyone's safety in this transaction. I will cover standard shipping via FedEx with signature verification, buyer would pay insurance if desired.

What are everyone's thoughts on using paypal if I am selling a physical coin? for example, I will soon be selling a Casascius 1 BTC coin. Same problem, or since it is an actual physical object I can prove the package was delivered in case of a dispute?

Thank you for all the replies. I will take good pictures and post in the collectables section. I know I am new to the forum so trust may be an issue, therefore the use of an escrow service will probably be a good idea. Thanks again!
11  Other / Meta / New to this forum, wanting to sell a 2012 Casascius 1 BTC on: May 25, 2017, 01:58:37 AM
Hello Everyone,

I am new to this forum. My main reason for joining was a recommendation that I look here to sell my Casascius coin versus ebay or other venues. I have watched the newbie video and I'm currently reading through the remainder of the links on the newbie post. I'd appreciate any advice or suggestions for selling the coin before I make a post on the marketplace.

Thank you!
