My understanding is that the difficulty will increase by 40% or so in the next few days causing miners to go back to BTC. Is this true?

Agree. Love Romano's twitter account (you shitposter you!) - but it would undeniably benefit from a marketing push of any sort. I mean look at Verge if you look at what it really is, it's damn near ALL marketing. Do I have time/resources to do it? Sadly no. Hopefully someone will step up. Romano is already overclocking his brain for dev work and will no doubt start hallucinating regularly within the next 2 to 3 years. So yeah, we better speed this shit up. Paragon will be an amazing addition to the cannabis industry. You're right we could probably talk all day about all the benefits of marijuana. What about Paragon? they bring the safe space, organization and a platform for us to work towards the legalization of marijuana while growing businesses.
Why do you need a new Paragon coin? Why not pick any altcoin at all, buy up $10 million of it, and use it? Oh, right, because that doesn't make the 'founders' of this ICO a ton of money personally. |

I'm from the Netherlands, where smoking weed has been legal for years. We're famous for it! The crazy part however is that buying weed (outside of a licensed coffeeshop) and growing weed is illegal. This means that coffeeshops are buying their supply from criminals, while perpetrating a crime themselves at the same time. What we need is to legalize the production and wholesale part of the chain (no pun intended) as well. I think a system like Paragon could do wonders for the Dutch system as well.
I totally agree on this part. It's very confusing the way the legal system is setup in this scenario. An entity like Paragon may be what the industry need to further advance without all the illegal activities surrounding cannabis. It's also a fact that the plant is used for much more then just getting stoned. Medical studies have showed that it helps agains anxiety and helps cancer patients and a ton of other illnesses. Thumbs up for this project. Exactly! And by legalizing and regulating the rest of the chain, you not only cut back crime, but also create a new taxable industry, which governments can always use  . Are we talking about Paragon ICO or just cannabis legalization on this thread? Shouldnt you spend your time evaluating the merits of this crazy valuation with no business plan? I guess a fool and his money are soon parted. |

Well, I have read that a dozen times now "Revolutionizing the Cannabis Industry". Now why would I be supposed to believe that you can make it happen? There are a lot of projects attempting precisely this, but they fail constantly or can't gain the traction they desire. What about you guys? They are trying to fight the tide. Well, they can win if they are bigger than the tide Part of the reason this will work right now is just timing. The time is right now, and the majority of people want this. Paragon has a great business plan and adds a stable foundation to an industry sorely needing it. What a hilarious shill. "Paragon has a great business plan" really? Where did you see a business plan? Because I only saw a 44 page white paper that says they are going to rent some random spaces for people to "conduct business." |

I'm not sure what is meant by the last comment? There is a lot of value for everyone involved in the ICO. Just the Spaces alone will be of value to the community.
You could rent spaces with a whole lot less than $200MM. You are just lining someone else's pockets here. This is just trying to ride the ICO wave and fleece the public. |

It's easy to say everything is a scam, and some projects are scam, but when you come and just say : It's a scam ! What's the point ? You don't even have just one argument.
Here's the definition of scam: - a dishonest scheme; a fraud. - swindle. - synonyms: swindle, cheat, deceive, trick, dupe, hoodwink, double-cross, gull; There is no new technology here. This ICO is just launching a coin and tracking transactions on a ledger. It uses celebrity (e.g. The Game) to hype the premise to unsophisticated 'investors.' There is no proof of concept or prototype and they are trying to raise funds for 100 million tokens. They use words like 'revolution' and 'change the world,' which is fairly meaningless in place of any concrete examples of technological advancement. Their entire roadmap consists of launching the coin and then getting it on an exchange. |

I'm interested in IOTA, so I'll take a look at this coin.
I don't see anywhere about the partnership with IOTA. Where is it? Check their Homepage https://paragoncoin.com/If you look at the bottom of the page you see the partners. Also it was announced in here somewhere. Yeah, just checked. There are plenty of other good names also. All those partners give this project great credibility. I'm curious to see how far this project goes. Guaranteed this project will go to hell real quick. |

It's weird when you add a coin after the poll started. All the original voters did not have that option so they chose from the selections available.
