Private key space is 2^256 but address space is only 2^160, so there are effectively 2^160 possible addresses. When you're creating a new address, what you're essentially doing is generating a random number between 1 and 2^160 (1,461,501,637,330,902,918,203,684,832,716,283,019,655,932,542,976). Due to how large this space is, it is all but impossible for the same number to be generated twice. Oversimplified of course, but that's the gist of it.

You're using a daemon that was built on another system.. Don't do that.

Selling bytes @ 0.05 BTC/GB, minimum 10GB. PM if interested, will use escrow if desired.

Not new, quite old actually... Some of the more advanced variants even store huge amounts of addresses so they can match up the first few characters of the address, making it look to be the correct address, at a glance.

It's on the to-do list, but I don't really have the free time to familiarize myself with the intricacies of Ethereum at the moment... Maybe sometime in the future.

No one ever claimed bitcoin was going to replace cash. No one realistic, anyway.

Ethereum has proved to be an absolute disaster and nowhere near as solid as bitcoin.

Several altcoins already have such functionality. It goes against the decentralized nature of the software. I'm not a fan of it.

No staking rewards means people are going to set their reservebalance to maximum and stop staking, which leaves your network vulnerable to attack. I wouldn't recommend it.

Download an archived older wallet from around the time the wallet.dat is dated (right click properties) and use that to dump the keys via debug console.

Yes... This has been happening for years now. Pretty much every wallet throws a false positive of some sort. Nothing to worry about.
