Cryptsy... I remember during their early days, I found an bug involving the order book that allowed you to duplicate coins. It was so simple that people were unknowingly and unintentionally doing it. This bug went undetected for a very long time. They were very lucky that I was the one who found it, because I immediately went and told Vern about it, instead of abusing it. He ran a script that removed all these duplicated coins from people's wallet. You may remember this as the period when the forums were blowing up because a lot of people's balances had been corrected, and now were in the negatives. Communication was piss poor and everyone thought they were being stolen from, when in reality their balances were just being adjusted to what they should have been. The whole situation was handled pretty awful. Wouldn't surprise me one bit if another similar bug has been going on undetected for a long time, and their wallets slowly drained.
I now have some funds stuck in there that I'll probably never get out. A small 0.05 BTC withdrawal has been pending for a week.
C'est la vie.

What train? Price has been consistently trending downward.
Nxt 2013 train. Nxt 2015 goes down, but you still can't forget that train. Living in the past, are we? NXT has developed an impressive amount since then (more than I would have expected) but you're deluding yourself if you think it has a chance of reaching anywhere close to parity with bitcoin, as this thead topic would suggest. There's a reason the price is where it's at. For what it's worth, I own some NXT and think it's a crying shame that it's worth less than trash like Dash and Doge. Those in charge of NXT aren't trying hard enough. In crypto, bullshit and buzzwords drive price, not fundamentals. Gotta step your game up if you want the price to rise! Take some lessons from eduffield and company.

As it should be
Haha, I knew I would see you there. You missed the train and now stalk every Nxt thread. Poor soul... What train? Price has been consistently trending downward.

Interesting - it seems as if bitcoin removed the debugging feature for genesis blocks in 0.8.6. How can I get a genesis hash with a more recent bitcoin release?
Pen and paper.

ALTCOIN ANDROID WALLET CREATION SERVICE
I am now (officially) offering my android wallet creation service to the public. The wallets I build are lightweight and based on Electrum. A local copy of the blockchain is not needed to perform send/receieve coins. Other android wallets need a local copy of the blockchain in order to work. Removing the need for the blockchain has several key benefits: - Always On: The wallet is ready when you are. No need to wait for the blockchain to catch up.
- Improved Battery Life: Downloading and verifying the blockchain drains the battery life substantially, especially for coins that utilize complex algorithms like KGW/DGW. By not downloading the blockchain, we dodge this issue.
- Reduced Storage Needs: The entire wallet takes up 6MB of space. Other wallets can use a hundred times this amount, or more, depending on their blockchain size.
- Near Zero Data Usage: Cell phone data plans are expensive! Why waste your precious data downloading the blockchain? Data usage for this wallet is very low, measurable in the kilobyte range.
Other unique features include: - Bitcoin/Litecoin Support: In addition to supporting your coin, all wallets built will also have bitcoin/litecoin support, providing greater utility for your users while also strengthing your brand.
- Ridiculously Secure: All keys are stored on, and never leave, your device. Your wallet can be encrypted with a password, to prevent malware and unauthorized users of your device (thieves!) from stealing your coins.
- Easy Backups: All of your private keys can be retrived from a simple 12 word mnemonic, similar to Electrum. So, even if you lose your device, you can easily retrieve your coins.
- Privacy: Transactions are broadcasted through an anonymization server, which hides your IP from prying eyes.
Other people are still offering android wallets based on Schildbach's old bitcoin mobile wallet ( link), or even worse, straight up compiling a QT client for android. I'd strongly recommend you stay away from these types of android wallets. They are very heavy, consume a lot of battery + data, lack advanced security features, and are not very aesthetically pleasing. I'm not just saying this to drum up sales; if you're in the market for an android wallet, find someone offering a lightweight one, even if it's not me. It truly is a superior solution. PRICINGI am asking 1 BTC for the creation of the Android wallet for your altcoin. This includes all necessary debugging, compatibility testing across multiple devices, and delivering the APK to you. Since this is an electrum based wallet, it will require an electrum server customized for your altcoin in order to function. I can create and host an electrum server for your coin at a cost of 0.5 BTC per year. That works out to about €14 per month - a slight markup over my hosting cost of €10 per month. So for the complete package, you're looking at a cost 1.5 BTC. ORDERINGOrdering can be done easily through the order form at http://dev.cryptolife.net/order/altcoin-android-wallet/. Alternatively, you can send me a PM, or contact me via email.

Posting from multiple accounts that you purchased does not strengthen your claims. It delegitimizes them, if anything.

LOOOOL what a fucking liability, if this is true Hazard is a lame. Regardless, I see wallets all the time that have zero flags. Why in the hell would anyone ever buy from you again Hazard, when TWO of your coins (your words) have more than FIVE FLAGS
your little gig is finished by the looks of things
If you're concerned about the superficiality of whether or not BitcoinMiner false flags are thrown, you have your priorities in the wrong place. The source code is out in the open, so again, I challenge you to find anything malicious in it. But, judging by your post history you're just another shill for QUEDOS, so there's no reasoning with you.
|
|
|
You exposed yourself by using the exact same whitepaper for both coins. Your incompetence is not my fault.
|
|
|
Given your post history, you're obviously involved with QUEDOS and you have an agenda here.

Lesson of today, AVOID HAZARD because he has nothing but viruses forya Nothing but generic BitcoinMiner flags (these are older than time itself) and some false positives. I challenge you to prove otherwise. Given your post history, you're obviously involved with QUEDOS and you have an agenda here.

This individual is on a FUD campaign against me because his scamcoin campaign was not a success. View this thread ( https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1248606.0) for some context, and my reply to him below:
Both coins (XAGON and QUEDOS) were created by my service over a month ago. They were ordered by different individuals, but seeing as they were released on the same day, and have similar whitepapers, it's not too difficult to see they're being pushed by the same person/group. I checked, and it doesn't look like there were any modifications made to the client after I compiled, so they should be clean. Here's the VT links: XAGON: https://www.virustotal.com/en/file/ce4d570f740d5b7ee8c371ce162aaf9a398150dbc328bc2ef3969a8698931bb0/analysis/QUEDOS (9/28): https://www.virustotal.com/en/file/83abb7b3f28c363924beda4b0fc637f45df05ae20337040276f36ee40a26a756/analysis/1443540956/QUEDOS (11/13): https://www.virustotal.com/en/file/83abb7b3f28c363924beda4b0fc637f45df05ae20337040276f36ee40a26a756/analysis/As you can see sometime between 9/28 and today, McAfee's Artemis decides it doesn't like something, and Baidu hops on the "Bitcoin Miner" train as well. I've been dealing with false positives like these for a very long time. BitcoinMiner is the one that always persists, but every now and then some D-List antivirus will decide throw a very nasty sounding false positive. Artemis is a heuristic detection tool by McAfee and isn't indicative of anything in particular. It just means something is "suspicious", but given McAfee's track record as the worst antivirus ever, I wouldn't put too much stock in it. It certainly doesn't "basically disable almost all functions of your machine", that's just pure FUD. Trojan.StartPage.Win32.26934 is absolutely a false positive by a crappy AV vendor (who has ever heard of zillya before?) and is incredibly easy to verify since the payload of that particular trojan is that is changes your home page. Run the client in a VM and you'll see it does no such thing. Also refer to the often overlooked behavioral information of both clients, and you'll see nothing out of the ordinary: https://www.virustotal.com/en/file/83abb7b3f28c363924beda4b0fc637f45df05ae20337040276f36ee40a26a756/analysis/1443540956/I reached out to Mr. "TenBagTony", pusher of both these coins, who is now on a FUD campaign against me. He posted this gem after ocminer exposed him with this thread. Amusingly enough, he claims that I exposed him, and he now wants to fight me. A true internet tough guy, if there ever was one. tl;dr Both coins are free of malware - any detection is simple a false positive. So if you've ran them, don't panic and nuke your computer. That being said, I'd still stay away from both of these coins for every other reason mentioned above.

No - bitcoin is the first but now a dinosaur. Go read up about Dash Evolution...is not a derivative .And in all ways superior...
A Ferrari has derivatives from the first Henry T ford..i.e a steering wheel..is the Henry T ford still better...no
Dont like it - dont invest.
You're delusional if you think DASH will ever reach the level of adoption Bitcoin has. Ever since it's inception, xcoin/darkcoin/dash has been little more than a vehicle to make insiders money. From the instamine, the masternodes, you name it... Every move is calculated to hustle money out of people like you. Continue sipping the kool-aid as your "investment" trends towards zero.
