Unfortunately,  it seems like I've been scammed by cex.io today.

I transfered XRP to my Cex.io account.
A few minutes after I made the transaction, the Ripple network confirmed my transaction.
Now, hours later, my XRP is still not credited to my account.
I tripple checked the deposit address and destination tag. - all correct.

The customer service does not respond (ticket492295).

I would recommend you to stay away from cex.io

Hey guys,
I sent some of my Ethereum from Kraken to Cex because Kranken is becoming very unconcenient to use.

My Ethereum transaction is now pending since an hour on https://etherscan.io/ . - I've never had anything like this, usually I can see the first blocks after a few minutes. Is there anything I can do?

I can just confirm what all the others here have already described.

It has become impossible to properly trade on Kraken. It takes dozens of tries to place and order or cancel one. One just sits infront of the screen and heplessly whatches the market chanching, unable to react. It's ridiculous. I even had one margin call that went through after it stated an error message. I only discovered hours later that now I apparently had an open position.

I received a response from the cex.io finance team tonight that says that they cannot name me any German bank that works for sure. Further, it states that the bank must support P2P operations for the withdrawals to work. - What bank were you using?

I'm wondering, however, if the bank is the relevant factor or the company issuing the card.

@Monsterr or anybody who has sucesfully withdrawn money to a payment card:

What VISA cards are you guys using? - Like what bank or service provider has issued them?

I'm asking since mine is "not working" accoring to cex.io and I'm looking for an alternative.

My verification plus request has not been worked on neither since almost a month. Same for the verification of a payment card (Mastercard)

In addition, my verified payment card (VISA) does not work with their service according to cex.io, however I was not provided with a clear explenation why the VISA would not work.

Has anyone of you ever sucessfully withdrawn fiat to a payment card?

Well, my verification plus request has not been processed now since 3 weeks despite multiple reminders.

Same experience with payment cards, the first one (VISA) did not work and I did not receive a clear explenation why it was not working and the Mastercard has not been verified since more than a week now neither.

I' dont know how many new customer are coming in, but it is unacceptable to take new ones in if simple requestst of the existing ones can't even be processed. Since weeks now I am unable to move my funds.

has anybody of you ever used the withdraw to VISA function on CEX.io successfully?

Because the biggest hurdle to arbitrage trading on cex.io as I see it is the setting up the fiat side of the circle, since the normal transfer options like SEPA can take weeks according to multiple post on this forum.

That all sounds really bad. Amount is 20.000 USD.

20-30 day is ridiculous. I'm glad now that i at least my ony a test withdrawl of a few dollars first. So I still have the option to withdraw it via cryptio i guess...


In general that sounds like their either scamming people or have really bad operations...

I currently have some Euros and Dollars on my CEX.io account that i would like to withdraw.

Now there are different options.

For Euro: 1)SEPA (10€)
                2)credit card like VISA (3.50€)
For USD: 1) Bank transfer (50$)
                2) credit card again like VISA (3.80 $)
 

My question is how long does each approximately take to process a withdrawal? Do you guys have any experience with it?


I tend to prefer the VISA withdrawal because of the lower fees but i've never seen the option to transfer funds direktly to my credit card from a forgein account. Have you guys tried that?
