Do any reputable sites (non ebay/amazon) have S3s in stock?

M

Not that I am aware of.

Would you guys buy from 112bit.com?

Yes, juan is bitmain USA. Just curious why people are buying these as they will never ROI unless the price skyrockets or the diff drops?
5  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: How many S3 are you planning to buy? on: June 28, 2014, 01:39:35 AM
What dies everyone predict the price to be? My guess is that they will launch them around 1.5 Btc, about half the price of the S2. I also bet juan will get a nice GB on these in a little. I am waiting for the group buy!

I was actually very frustrated with my data center search until I filled out a request at http://www.datacentermap.com. Within 24 hours, I was contacted by three different data centers in the area that I hadn't previously considered, and ended up choosing one of them. I highly recommend that site to start your search.

kendog77 thanks for mentioning this site, never knew it existed ... I have two SP10s and two forthcoming SP30s I'm looking to find a home for.

You better. I imagine the sp30s are going to be as loud as a jet engine!

This is most of my farm.

32 S1s
9 S2s
2 Dragons
2 Jupiters
2 SP10s

Total = ~22 TH/s

Holy shit! How old that farm is? Cheesy i bet u got pretty high amount of coins from it?
Just big WOW  Shocked

If you pay what I pay every month for colo, you would be making a killing!
How much you pay for colo for those 22 Ths?

That is proprietary information, so I'll never tell. I am very happy with the cost and quality of this co-location facility, and it's close to where I live.

I know, but i won't tell:)

10  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Setting up AntMiner S1 mini-farm in a warehouse on: May 01, 2014, 02:37:56 PM
Running at 240 your ants will only use about 2amps overclocked to 200gh.
11  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: setting up 12 s1 antminers on: May 01, 2014, 02:25:34 AM
You can should only run 16amps per 20 amp circuit so yes, 4 per would work. My issue is i plan on expanding much more past 12 ants. This way i have enough room to expand.
12  Bitcoin / Mining support / quick question on psu wall draw on: May 01, 2014, 02:21:58 AM
I have an xfx pro850 psu. Max power rating is 850w. It is drawing 892w according to my watt meter. PSU is 80+ gold. Am i pushing it too hard? I have it running 2 Ant s1's clocked to 200gh. Thanks.
13  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: setting up 12 s1 antminers on: April 27, 2014, 05:27:02 AM
Thanks for the replys. Here is what i am doing. I am putting in a 100amp sub panel and from that will run 240v 20amp breakers and 1 120v 20 amp for my switch, router and fans. My main panel is about 2 feet from the sub and the sub is 1 foot from my miners. I got a triplite 100-240v 20amp pdu along with all the needed c13 adapters. 100 amps should give me more than enough room for now as i will only be using about 25 amps.
14  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: setting up 12 s1 antminers on: April 25, 2014, 04:34:37 AM
Thats what i was thinking except to go that route i am looking at least $200 more in supplies. I am curious if I will make that back with the little gain in efficiency?
15  Bitcoin / Mining support / setting up 12 s1 antminers on: April 25, 2014, 03:42:00 AM
I am expanding my "farm" from 3 ants to 12. What would the best way to power these units? Not asking about PSU's but distribution. Which option would be best?

1) 120vac 20amp circuits, 2 1000 watt psu's per circuit. I would need 6 20amp circuits

2) 240v 30amp circuit with PDU, I could run 11-12 miners on one circuit

any other ideas? Also, is there any difference between a power strip and a basic PDU?

Anyone have any pictures of their units running? How is the build quality? I am a little nervous ordering from anyone other than bitmain.
19  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: Any miner worth buying right now on: April 19, 2014, 04:36:11 AM
I am using S1's myself, but nothing seems profitable at this moment.
20  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: Any miner worth buying right now on: April 08, 2014, 03:37:12 PM
I've almost returned my investment on my Ants. I personally believe by the end of the year BTC will be 1000-2000usd. I am not worried about short term return as i am in for the long haul.
