Thought you said it was a hobby for you. Quit fudding up the thread. Sounds like your broke and want a guarantee that you will make. It's Crypto man. Your silly. Look at first page for how tool works. There's plenty of details.

Crypto is a hobby. You guys are all so worried about being nice but no one ever asks hard questions.

This is a product for sale with the intent of making money.

No one proves it (exact exchanges and settings).......do you know how stupid that sounds?

Have fun with this one.

you can find by yourself in this topic people who post about their gains.
If i'm selling this product since 2013, PROBABLY it works good, don't you think?

I can write about gains and parameters, but that parameters could became osbolete the next day.
I can write about big gains but then tell people "I'm sorry about your loss, the configuration i give you yesterday is not working more, it's not my fault".
I can decide to sell a product but don't trade for other people
And i can give any day support to people who wants to learn trading. (Usually i manage 60-100 Pm Daily)

I don't understand what are you trying to demostrate.
You came here, you ask thing, i give you responses.
You don't like my responses? No problem.
You don't like my product? No problem.
You think you can tell me what i must do or not with my product? No you cant  Smiley

C.A.T. is not what you're looking for ok?
End of the story.

Peace & Love.

No I don't.

Because there are no exact settings or exchanges.

I would not have asked if there was. I looked. Gains can be very anomalous in trading. Long term growth is another story. Nobody knows that better than someone like myself.

I don't doubt you're a nice guy, but you are selling a system that is intended to make money.

You have to distinguish yourself as not being a charlitain. When replies are all over the map........"it depends, it depends, it depends" that makes it dead simple for you to shift liability and blame users.

If your strategy works then don't sell it. Simple.

My door isn't shut here (although its pretty clear Sampey isn't going to sell anything to me at this point) If anyone else has proof in the form of exact exchanges and settings then please post.

Prove me wrong. Share your exchanges, settings, time span and results, but making fun of me for doing nothing more than seeking honesty isn't going to help.

What you are asking is equivalent of having someone show you how to be a professional driver. It's not going to happen. There's no magic pill or setting as the market is living, breathing, thinking people on the other end that is constantly changing. Just like a professional car driver, it takes fundamental skills in learning how to drive and discovering the limits and capabilities of your machine. Practice, practice, learn, improve and practice some more.

At the end of the day, how well you do depends entirely on you. What works for someone else may not work for you at all. There are no short cuts. A hammer is just a hammer to the average person, but in the right hands arises a home. However, it's just a hammer. It's a tool. Nothing more, nothing less. There is no secret or magical way of using it.

So the real question is, if you're not willing to invest in discovering yourself, your capabilities and your potential tools, why should you expect anyone else to do it for you?

Again, you guys cut so much slack its ridiculous. Definitely not. And you will learn.

I've been working with trading systems for years. Its been my full-time profession for the past 12 years, and I've been in the industry for 15-16.

That's why I'm looking for specifics. There is so much junk out there I just want data. But magically, it never shows up. Strange, don't you think?

Google "choice supportive bias". This thread is packed with people (buyers) having it.

There are several examples of statements you have made in past, depreciated threads, about how much you have made

yes and do you think i've gain using a single universal parameter? I've gains because i know how to configure CAT in certain conditions.
I Repeat this is a tool assitant, not a magic money machine.

I wasn't going to post but then show those specific examples.

What's stopping you from saying anything you want....."I made 0.4 BTC yesterday", etc. like you have in the past....people give you guys way too many free passes.

PROVE IT. WHAT EXCHANGE? WHAT SETTINGS? Its soooooooooo easy. Just screenshot like you do all your features.

There is no point if it doesn't make money. Zero. Zilch. Nada.

If I came to work everyday saying I was going to make "tools", not money, how fast would I lose my job?

So why is that type of language acceptable here?

You're just proving my point.

The whole point of a bot is to make money. That's it. Not to have fun putting numbers in boxes all day.
6  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: 【BOT】 🌟 C.A.T. Cryptocurrency Automatic Trader 5.1 Improve Your Trading !!!! 🌟 on: July 11, 2017, 05:44:23 PM
this product helps you make money, doesn't makes money for you.

this is the difference between an automatic bot and something people doesn't understand that doesn't exists (an AI that is able to understand all market movements in any conditions and makes you gain).

Understood. I've been working in trading and investment (first equities then commodities) for my entire adult life (literally since I was 21....I'm 36 now). This is a hobby for me and I know full well how long it takes to produce a program like this......takes many, many hours of work.

Just seeking some validation of claims.

I would hand over the money right this second if you could verify the methods (exchanges and settings) used for claims on earnings, either here or in private.

There are several examples of statements you have made in past, depreciated threads, about how much you have made.

I know that the proper tools in the wrong hands leads to losses. I also know that the proper tools without the right guidance does the same.

At the end of the day this is an algorithm with objective rules and parameters that are hard set. Anything is therefore able to be replicated/demonstrated.

That's all I was looking for. Honestly I've seen so much beating around the bush over the years its enough to drive anyone insane.

Clearly you're not willing to do this so I'll leave it be. I won't post here anymore.

well i worked a lot of years on this project to create dynamism, not to create an algorithm for me :-)
What user ask is a lot of simple options to manage their ping-pong workflow, any customer have his needs  Wink

Ok so the answer is no. Sorry but its very frustrating.....a product being sold where the bottom line is to make money yes we're very dodgy when it comes to getting to the point.

I understand all the arguments.

I know you have a good quality product here.

I don't mean to be hard on you but this is so typical and is extremely frustrating.

It would be great to have a solid starting point vs. wrestling alligators for months on end.

The end goal is making money. You have written claims about earning x BTC here and there......all I'm asking is if you can show your customers exactly how you did it.

Don't mean to be rude, but honest.

Hi Sampey,

I've used Tribeca https://github.com/michaelgrosner/tribeca and others like it....

...so I'm familiar with how your bot works......simple question: can you provide me with proper settings (exchange and params) with a purchase? My days of playing with bots for 5 or 6 months to find proper settings and "it depends" replies are long gone and I'm just looking to get to the point here. I don't like wasting time these days when the work has already been done.

Thanks in advance.

Hi,
CAT comes with a DEFAULT settings.
Default settings are created to let you trade in any condition, BUT it's obvious that if you don't properly configure an algorithm for a specifica market in a specific moment you need a little bit of luck to have big gains.

Default algorithm could works well when you're on a stable market when many times/day there are MAX/MIN Values.

Thanks for the fast reply. What I meant, in a nutshell, was that you have been working on this project for many years.

Surely you have pinned down some exchanges and parameters that work in your favor over a consistent period. Would you be willing to provide that information to me? Or would I have to forge forward with default settings only?

I'm not looking for spoon feeding here. However, I AM seeking proof of concept that I am able to replicate and move forward on, as opposed to struggling over settings for many months. Thanks again.

winnway this is a very good result, what processors have this computer? I am waiting for 4 days on the block, and I have not extracted any.

Due to the large power of mining networks on the pool gives really bad effects   Huh Huh Undecided

I have an older i75960 on my main computer, and the others are at my house but nothing worth talking about. On the 5960 I've hit 4 blocks but none in the past 2 days (on any computer). On each of the other 2 I've hit 1 and 2 each. Took 4 days on one and 3 and 6 (I think) on the other. Hash rates on the crappy ones are showing 450-750.

Don't know how you are managing to hit any blocks on a single CPU at those hash rates. I haven't hit a block since 06/19 running 24/7 @~1100H/m. Was averaging a block every 5 days. Difficulty has admittedly increased in the interim, but I am quite sure I am now running well under the hash/reward rate even so.

I don't know either, but I was. Last block I hit on that machine was roughly 1 week ago. It's just luck.....I'm in a pool permanently now with all machines routing to it. Not sure what to tell you.

Exactly.

This was a question、rather than a statement。 so these coins I’ve mined on the beta still are worthless?

Yes. They are 100% worthless. All the information you need is written on their website. You should try reading more often vs. nagging others.

For my i7 3930k that i'm using as well as my AMD FX 8120, i had to set virtual ram to 16GB (min and max set to same) to be able to set max core - 1.  So my i7 3930k i'm able to do 11 threads and fx 8120 7.  It will run with all cores as well, but it struggles if you are trying to do other things.  Both system have 8GB or more physical ram as well but i don't think this would be an issue.

But he is right. nothing but speculation of a 10x price increase caused the price to go up. I still don't think this project will go anywhere. I'm not even a troll. Just a regular dude who chased the ride and got burned.

Do any of you people do your ------- homework?!

Here, let me help: http://tauchain.org

Sheesh. And stop being so naive and chasing high volume spikes with NO KNOWLEDGE of what you're doing.

This is the first time I chased a coin and I regret it. And what does that website tell me? It hasn't been updated in a long time so I don't know anything new thats going on with the project. Where is a specific timeline telling me when all the projects are going to be done?

The last time the project roadmap was updated was Apr 17, 2016, 2:20 AM, well over a year ago. The last time the blog was updated was Sep 10, 2016, 2:28 PM. There have been no new youtube videos.

The site needs a MAJOR rebranding.

How is that supposed to instill confidence in me as an investor of this shitcoin?

You tell me. You're the one who bought it.

You're expecting things you view as normal, the truth is anything can be done as it wants to be. We're talking about lines of code here. Obviously this isn't a typical project. You're mad because you bought the highs at, literally the last moment, and now you need a punching bag.

And you're only making your (and everyone else's) situation worse here by trashing work you could never do on your own.

Just wait until tomorrow and cool offf on all the negativity.

My average take home on the pool was a little over 1/day. So at 4.8 down to 4.4 reward average = 32.2 over only 6 days. vs ~7.4 (based on initial difficulty) on the pool.

The number I gave is false as an average (as of today....over the period), so I didn't mean to mislead but it is misleading because of spiking difficulty. It was on that day and I was getting really ticked off because I was losing so much. Once the average evens out, I'll go back to the pool, but that's not for a while. I'm still ahead by about 24 coins. As I say I can't figure out the math on the pool.....it just didn't make sense to me.....maybe the pool creator can explain it. The high withdrawal rates also irritated me...I'm not sure why he would opt to do that but it left a bad taste in my mouth.

Hope that clarifies. Difficulty remains extremely low for this coin compared to others, but climbing very fast. It will be double what I started at in no time.

This is all still peanuts. If you like this coin, just buy it. Heck of a lot cheaper / faster.

I mined for over a week from the wallet with no blocks found, and have never been the block finder on the pool... so If I was using the pool I would have found nothing.

3 to 5 coins per week isn't peanuts when the computer is on anyways and would have been costing money to have instead of making it.

I hear you. Still no new blocks as of today. Looks like the party may be over for now. I think I'll leave it a couple more days and see if anything hits. But my finding rate hit the brakes.

There are two types of ICO's. 1 is rarer than the other:

ICO 1. Price immediately shoots off following public release (rare)
ICO 2. Price vomits 30-45% of its body weight in the 2 weeks following release (common).

I saw a listing for a house once, sent an inquiry, and they guy insisted on meeting me at Starbucks instead of outside the house. He met me, with a contract, stating that I was not allowed to go inside before purchase (not a joke). I couldn't even believe it.

This ICO makes me feel the same way, with the bonus of a graphic designer.

No outsider should be taking this seriously. These terms are among the absolute worst I have ever seen.

Oh well, I'm going to quit watching this for a while. After all I was never in for just a quick flip. Even if the buyback is depleted the team has plenty of funds available in order to bring a good product to the market and that is all that matters at the end.

I feel the same way, I think they will rebound.  I didn't invest in the ICO, but I am definitely going to take advantage of these prices.

Bancor didn't even start to work and quitters quit - that's kind of funny.
It's now Speculators vs Investors.
Once speculators are gone, investors will be still there and in the end they'll enjoy a bigger slice of pie, if the Bancor team will deliver what promised. Which I think they will.

This happens a lot in the world of equities as well - a fade after the release - the problem with these ICOs is that owners can pin whatever price they want based on their own objectives and NOT dollars and cents, like an IPO. It basically becomes anyone's guess - spin the wheel and try to determine a fair value.

My biggest steady wins on these coins are based on low supply and low price vs. peers, as well as a team that continues moving forward and communicating with the public, bonus public interest steadily working on the project. Things work out. Have a decent market cap but not nuts. Market cap is, after all, just circulating supply * price.

My worst? Hype. Lack of community. Stanford pedigree garbage. Tons of promises with nothing to prove it. I've been suckered into 3 of them now and they're all in the gutter. Lesson learned.

This particular team has a lot of interest in this and I'm chalking it up to typical IPO over-hype.

Bottom line: wait 3, 4 weeks (and when price is stable) and buy it if you believe in it (I do - they're making something easy which was before, very complex, and they have the community behind it). Give some time for the kinks to work out. Right now the rubber isn't meeting the road, though, and you have profit taking across the board overall. I can confidently say I'm done with ICOs, though, unless I'm getting a crazy multiplier on top of it all, or some other sure bet.

I have a little question, because I'm very slow...

One of the devs made a post saying this is why you solo mine, and linked to a block on the explorer.  Now if I'm understanding this correctly, the 'Value out' figure is what the blockfinder receives?  So while normally you would expect to receive currently around 4.5VRM for finding a block, you could quite possibly receive 50, 100, even 1000 VRM for discovering a block?

That hasn't been my finding. I've gotten 4 blocks over the last few days across 3 computers and all are 100% in line with the stated block reward on the vault.

Re: questions about the pool, until difficulty spikes I am making significantly more solo mining than I was in the pool ATM. I don't know if it was something to do with the pool itself but I am roughly 12X over what I would be earning in the pool (I tested running all 3 machines to the same pool account simultaneously). That's 5 or 6 days running stats for me.

I could be getting lucky but something just seems amiss for the time being. I plan on going back to it at some point but for now, I even scored a block on an old i5, 4 core processor. Just my findings. Everyone will be different.
