3  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / How Do You Transfer BCT To A Clean Wallet & Setup A BCC Wallet? on: August 07, 2017, 12:22:11 AM
Hola,

Been poking around the interwebs , looking for ways to split my hard earned Bitcoin BTC into Bitcoin Cash $$$.

I'm a fan of this new article, it gives you a basic end to end guide on how to get your BCC and delves into some of the key security issues related to wallet setups.

This one's a good read

4  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Fuck BitcoinCash on: August 07, 2017, 12:13:47 AM
At a current ratio of 6% value to BTC, I'm inclined to agree that Bitcoin Cash can go Fork itself, hard... in the a$$...

However a return to it's immediate form of 50% value, would, as they say, be better than a poke in the eye with a stick.

If you're interested in any way in holding some BCC then there's good  tutorial here

No such thing as a free lunch, but maybe there's still a possibility of some free BCC? Tongue
5  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Is It True We Can Get Free Bitcoin Cash(BCC) from Bitcoin(BTC)? on: August 07, 2017, 12:07:38 AM
OK Smiley

We waited with anticipation, surfing the many rumour mills and charts that would give us a clear indication of the what the Bitcoin spilt would result in.

I for one poured over a number of different channels of info, trying to build up a fundamental and technical picture of the road ahead. So the fork has happened and what does that mean... In terms of long term impacts and forecast to BTC and the Cryptomarket in general, I wish I could give a solid answer, but we all know that predicting a market as volatile as this is a big ask.

Short term however there are some obvious, immediate and practical impacts... For example, the new currency Bitcoin Cash...

Basically, as an owner of Bitcoin that's stored on an exchange that supports Bitcoin Cash, you're entitled to a 1:1 payment in the new currency. i.e for every unit of BTC you own, you can be given the equivalent in Bitcoin Cash. The 2 main types in existence at this time are Bit Connect Coin and Bitcoin Cash, which go by the ticker symbols of BCC and BCH retrospectively.

I'm sure that there are a few people who are in the know and understand this process, but for those who don't it's still, like the whole fork scenario itself, a grey area.

I've been looking into this quite thoroughly over the past week and have found an article that gives a clear, step by step, guide on how to split BTC into BCC and also gives a background on some of the related security aspects.

This has been a great little find

Looks like this week could be the week to have a keen strategy for Altcoins...

We could be in for some periods of extreme volatility over the next few days.

Are you holding your BTC (out of interest) in light of the "fork"?
9  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: When is the time not to trade in Altcoin market? on: July 29, 2017, 12:29:38 AM
What's everyone thinking about the "fork ofDoom"?

Will the Bit'Alocalyse occur?
10  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: When is the time not to trade in Altcoin market? on: July 26, 2017, 11:10:12 PM

I think when we are not trading in alcoin depending on our trading strategy, it can also be seen from the market movements that are less profitable for investment

Are you talking about a more long wave analysis approach?

I'm looking at a combined strategy, spot trades and longer term investment... There is overlap, but doesn't feel like it on the day(trade)  Cheesy

hello CharlieDevo please explain your tool a little more. I am bright but not the brighest and I am trying to learn more about this artificial intelligence tool.

Hola MoneroMan!

Like you I'm not quite NASA material, but think it works using time series averages...
I've had an eye on this for a little while now and the site has added a tutorial by someone that knows what they're doing here

http://alts-club.com/docs/learn-how-to-use-altcoin-trader.php

Think essentially if the tables for a coin pair show a high increase in volume, price change and amount of transactions the indicators turn green and it's time to get in... Conversely those same KPIs will show when a pump is flattening out and it's time to get out
12  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Entry and Exit Strategies for the Crypto Market on: July 26, 2017, 08:41:48 PM
It was a good article. Although the price of altcoins are not easily predictable and thus the profits are not that easy to be acquired, this article can help some new traders to get some profit at early stages of their trades. A good strategy yields a good income whether or not the price of the altcoin goes up or down. The strategy showed in this article a worth a try and people should go through it once. Its a good read.

I'm guessing you're talking about different frequencies of trading/investment? Smiley

What I liked about the article was the approach to spot trading, I'm guessing you're inferring that this couldn't be used initially and combined with a day trading windows and/or longer term investment strategy?

The exchanges can be a bloodbath...

When is it time to fill your boots and when is it time to down tools before a return voyage?

Nice article here http://alts-club.com/docs/learn-how-to-use-altcoin-trader.php showing a strategy for less stressful spot trading
14  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / When is the time not to trade in Altcoin market? on: July 25, 2017, 08:41:13 PM
Things are certainly volatile right now.

Found a good article on when to trade versus when not to trade on an exchange.

A cryptocurrency exchange may have many traders online, but that doesn't mean they're in a trading frenzy. An exchange may have few traders online, but that doesn't mean they're disinterested. What are trading bots up to right now? Are huge international finance houses sucking up altcoins for long term investment, or divesting themselves of low quality altcoins?

15  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: AI Bot For Trading BTC Coin Pairs on Poloniex on: July 25, 2017, 08:29:25 PM
Hey folks,

Some good questions there. Think app works using time series averages... Not 100% certain as I'm not that type of developer.

Rings true with links posted on thread

Site has been updated with a tutorial, which shows how it can be used http://alts-club.com/docs/learn-how-to-use-altcoin-trader.php

I've made some gains with this... No automation like Gunbot, but it's cheaper i.e Gratis/Free
16  Bitcoin / Project Development / AI Bot For Trading BTC Coin Pairs on Poloniex on: July 18, 2017, 10:57:09 PM
There's a new bot trader in beta test at alts-club.com.

It's hooked up to the Poloniex exchange and allows you to isolate top performing bitcoin pairs as well as ETH, XMR and UTSD.

Been playing about with this, but haven't heard much elsewhere... Was very interested in CryptoPing on it's initial release, but think this is actually more accurate.

Anyone else had a play about with this?

Been wanting to know if anyone else has tested this thing out?

I've had a shot of recent alert bots like CryptoPing and have had a shot of this.
Just pointed at Poloniex just now, but does all their different coin pairs.

I'm pretty impressed at accuracy so far - looking to see if anyone else has been trading with this

CryptoPing bot isn't for me...

I resisted in investing in ICO, on basis of delays.
Compared the alerts to Poloniex and they could be delayed by anything between 15 - 20 mins.

Nice try, but I've seen better signal tech in dev elsewhere
