1  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can cryptocurrency make real money disappear? on: November 16, 2017, 08:04:57 AM
What are the chances of living in a world with no actual money ?  Shocked

Not a chance. I don't think the world is ready for a cashless community. As we know cryptocurrency isn't really for all. That is because first, not all people have access to the internet and not all people have the tools to crypto. Then of course dealing with cruptocurrency requires ample knowledge for better understanding and dealing with it.
2  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How Can We Make Sure Bitcoin Never Ends? on: November 02, 2017, 10:57:58 AM
Some people like the Brazil Central Bank Chief called Bitcoin a Bubble & Pyramid Scheme, how can the bitcoin industry prove this wrong and make sure bitcoin never ends but grows bigger?

By simply proving him wrong and most of all, by ignoring that person who will do anything to disrupt btc. They are afraid of btc seeing that more and more people are getting in with btc. And it sure did hurt banking businesses so they are banding together and announcing btc as a scam and all.
3  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How does Bitcoin Trading really work? on: October 31, 2017, 03:31:42 AM
I'm new here.
I earned good amount of Bitcoin in the last months and instead of cashing them out, I would like to know how I can trade with them to make some profit with this money.

I never did - Bitcoin Trade - or Money Trade in the past but I would really love to learn, at least understand what I can do with.

Any advice please about how I can start trading?

I was thinking about having them on an Exchanger, buying $/EUR when BTC goes down, then again exchanging against BTC and so having made some profit.

Is this not the right way to trade? Any other suggestion please? I did not yet use any other currency till now.

Thank you very much for your advice!

Long life to this forum!

Trading is simple. You just need to have enough money to start. Buy bitcoin when the price is low so that you can maximize your starting money. Then if you feel you already have gain and contented to a current price then sell some bitcoin you have. So everytime you do that, you can gain profit  which in time you will realized your starting money have earned.
4  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How I can make money with cryptocurrencies? on: October 30, 2017, 12:19:56 PM
Hello guys,
How are you everybody?
I am very interested to know about how to make real money with cryptocurrencies. Can anyone help me please?

Thanks

Cryptocurrency is already money, that is why it is called currency. It is always real money in the form of digital. You will just need to convert it to the form of currency that fits your needs. Just like when you have euros in your hand and you are in las vegas, you need to exchange it to dollars so you can use it.
5  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What is the risk of holding Bitcoin? on: October 30, 2017, 07:20:07 AM
As I said in the title. I was interested in putting my money into Bitcoin because of the ever-increasing price.
But I want to know what the biggest risk is to hold Bitcoin?

If you really believe in bitcoin, you can say to yourself that it has almost no risk in investing to bitcoin. It always depend on how much do you want to risk because I think we always have doubt sometime, and not 100% trust the current position of bitcoin. It is not like buying a phone which deppreciates its value on the next day after you bought it. Bitcoins value is always uprising so maybe the risk is negligible.
6  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Bitcoin or altcoin, which is better to invest into now? on: October 29, 2017, 11:26:23 PM
As Bitcoin keep climbing and altcoin keeps going down, is it better to invest in bitcoin or altcoin now?

It is always better to invest in bitcoin because its price is always known. While in altcoin, your investment is like gambling, which you need to be lucky to gain more. Also bitcoin will be the basis of the price of altcoin so if you have the chance to in bitcoin , choose bitcoin first. That is why it is altcoin, it is alternative for the main thing, if situations does not favor for bitcoin, then try it.
7  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why Always Bitcoin? on: October 29, 2017, 11:19:45 PM
I still do not understand the current obsession with regulating Bitcoin. They claim it's to help put an end to online money laundering and other cyber crimes but why aren't they equally obsessed about Fiat?

What if there are hidden agendas, like phasing out paper currencies, forcefully uniting all countries and handover control to more evil entity?
I have some paper money on me that I can EASILY use to buy some harmful drugs and weapons yet no Northkorea-like government is monitoring how I spend this money. A responsible government would rather be where the stuff are purchased and help solving crimes. Trying hard to Police everything (without caring a bit about the word "privacy") is a sign of desperation & tyranny.
I learned they are working hard to phase out cash for their cashless agenda. I bet over 70% of World governments will adopt the cashless thing too.

I have never used a Debit card online not that I don't understand it .. it instead doesn't feel safe to me.  My adoption of online currency started when I discovered Bitcoin. Bitcoin/Blockchain is the only thing that makes sense & feels natural to me.  Wonder why they are now trying hard to rewrite Bitcoin with some rogue codes.

Because the value of bitcoin for now is very attractive that even the government want it. So they are making their on how to control it before its too late for them. Try understanding economics first so you should know the answers to your silly questions.
8  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why is bitcoin the most popular cryptocurrency? on: October 27, 2017, 08:50:06 AM
Not just because it was the first to be developed but because it have proven itself. Bitcoin is the most popular among cryptocurrencies because the opportunities and great profit is here. It has been through ups and downs but it is still thriving and thus, the powerful of all cryptos.

13  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will Bitcoin be replaced by another cryptocurrency? on: October 14, 2017, 07:53:11 PM
Does it make sense to believe that Bitcoin could one day be replaced by another cryptocurrency, that is, a cryptocurrency that really does make Bitcoin obsolete?

It does make sense actually. Because there's no permanent in this world. Those who used to rule can go down to a lower level it's just a matter of a bad turn of things or fate. Everything has a possibility. In case of bitcoin, it might be replaced by any other cryptocurrency present right now or by one that is about to be developed yet. But that is I guess not gonna happen right now nor in the near future.
14  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: which information sources you're using to stay updated with cryptocurrencies? on: October 14, 2017, 07:39:02 PM
Aside from this forum, bitcointalk, which obviously provides more information that you can find about cryptocurrencies I am relying to Coindesk and Coinmarketcap. I subscribed my email to coindesk so that I'll receive daily notifications from the crypto world and I check coinmarketcap regularly.
15  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why some people prefer Bitcoin over fiat ? on: October 14, 2017, 06:39:25 PM
Bitcoin is being used widely in porn sites, gambling and drug dealing sectors. Is that why the btc made for ? I have seen a lot of members in this forum discussing about buying drugs, gambling and enjoying porn with bitcoin. Is not it a misuse of a currency ? Block chain tech is a awesome tech and btc is getting popular. I hate these misuses of precious btc. It hurts me. This will lead into unhealthy society along with unhealthy future generation.

Bitcoin is made for the benefit of people who use it and it isn't made for illegal purposes. But what can we do? No one can dictate how another person uses his btc. It's his own coins so it's his decision how to make use of it. But it doesn't mean that btc is bad just because it is being used illegally. Money is useful but it's also used illegally for so many years. It just happens that btc offers anonymity which makes it an easy target for the bad guys.
16  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How many people left their full-time employment to go into Bitcoin? on: October 14, 2017, 06:17:57 PM
I was talking to a friend the other day and he told me that two of his friends has left their full-time employment to concentrate on their Bitcoin ventures. < One in Crypto currency trading and the other into imports & exports, linked to ecommerce >

In light of the fact that Bitcoin is still experimental and very volatile, would you say that this was a good or a bad decision and would you do the same?

How many people have done this already?

That's a risky move since no one can predict what will happen with btc in the future. All of us hope for the better but we must admit that sometimes there are instances that things don't go the way we want it. There are some people who left their permanent job for btc and there are also some who have no choice but to do btc full time because either they lose their job or they haven't found a job yet. If I'm in their position and I'm earning from btc an amount that can let me and my family live for years without going broke then I'll gladly leave my job. Or if I can just run a company that has something to do with crypto then why not? Maybe before any unfortunate things happen I'm stable enough by that time.
17  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why Goverment is not recommending to use digital currency such a bitcoin? on: October 14, 2017, 05:24:36 PM
Yesterday I red article regarding digital currency. The article aim to discourage us in using digital currency as these currency is not recognize by our country moneytary institution. What do you think is the reason why  some goverment are discouraging its citizen to use digital currency? Any thoughts.....

Simply because they cannot control digital currencies, that's why. You can't blame your country though because it's known that btc is widely used in illegal activities such as money laundering and drugs trading. And of course for the monetary institution their main concern is not the laundering though maybe a little. Obviously if digital currencies like btc become rampant in your country they will lose huge amount from taxes.
18  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcons are just empty numbers on the internet without any value or legal power on: October 14, 2017, 05:07:55 PM
Unlike numbers on a bank account, which represent legal liability of the bank and are backed by the collateral of specified real estate or other debt instrument that a borrower offers as a way for a bank to secure the loan, the numbers on a bitcoin address are completely void of any legal liability since software that creates them is not a legal entity which can have legal rights and obligations.

So basically, people are paying huge amounts of money to get some empty numbers which are then recorded in a public ledger on the internet. If nobody wants to accept these numbers in exchange for dollars, goods or services, they are as useless as a random number that I write on a piece of paper.

On the other hand, since dollars in a bank account are bank's liability, if nobody wants to accept dollars in exchange for goods and services, they will be settled over time through the legal system by transferring real assets from those who have received loans from the bank, since loans are secured by the collateral of specified immovable or movable property and they represent bank's assets. This comes from the fact that obligation to repay the debt would not vanish if nobody wants to accept dollars. Since the borrower received real assets for its dollars, in the absence of dollars the borrower's debt must also be settled by real assets. Alternatively, since dollars that are in circulation were exchanged for goods and services by some borrower and since he is obligated to repay his debt in dollars, if nobody wants to accept dollars the borrower is the one who is forced to accept them in exchange for goods and services otherwise he is unable to settle his obligation to the bank. Besides being backed by borrower's collateral, dollars are also backed by banks' capital and the ability to pay taxes. As we can see, dollars on their own, have real measurable value, just like goods or services.

Bitcoins on the other hand, don't have value on their own, and if nobody wants to accept them in exchange for dollars, goods or services, no legal action can be taken by their 'owners' to get some kind of value out of them. As such, Bitcons are just empty numbers on the internet, which means that people are exchanging real values for literally nothing.

How I wish this forum could have a option Bitcoin lover or hater, and hater immediately banned from this forum, this newbie comes here and cribs about Bitcoins, says number dont mean anything, we'll go to preev.com maybe your eyes will poop out and I literally mean poop. As far your banks, they are running scared, and if you can't see it, then you're dumb. I would advise you to grow up, and buy some Bitcoin, maybe you'll improve your knowledge.

That is a good idea! I found myself laughing while reading his post. So much problem that keeps whining in his mind I guess so. Maybe a victim of scam or loser in gambling. A bitcoin hater but still he find hisway posting in bitcoin discussion. I think no one in this forum will be interested in ideology. He should try reading posts about bitcoin here first so that he will be able to learn more about bitcoin.
19  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I did it! Traveling with Bitcoin and $100 only on: October 14, 2017, 04:36:35 PM
Wow, that's amazing! I hope I can save up more bitcoins in the future for me to do what you just did. I've been dreaming to explore many countries because I always have this curiousity about different cultures. How one differs from other and how strong a culture in a country is. Right now I have Korea in mind because other they have a really strong culture based on what I've read and watched. And the Kpop buzz have gotten to me a little, not that much. I hope there's a way for me to use btc for my travel there without having to encash it for me to save up from money exchanges.
20  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What to do with the people who don't like Bitcoin? on: October 14, 2017, 01:49:34 PM
What would you do when you're talking to someone but then he suddenly talks about his hatred on Bitcoin, what would you react to it?

I've never actually experienced anything like this before, I just want to be prepared when it happened to me.

We cannot force other people to like bitcoin or any other digital currency. People have differences in the way they think. There are just some people who cannot understand technology, so they cannot easily accept cryptocurrencies. They were afraid of being a victim of scams which are very common in this community. They can learn bitcoin by themselves if they really want it or even a little interest on it.
