1  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are L3s worth it? on: Today at 12:54:15 AM
Do you think L3 networks are necessary? If not, why?
Not really. They are expensive and complicated. A lot of investors do not even understand the concept of it. It requires a much complex set of knowledge and skills to be able to be utilized. Maybe if investors understood it in a simpler way then we could all use it to our benefits but instead we just don’t.
2  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What is bitcoin future roles in Finance? on: Today at 12:34:47 AM
But because of the way it is people saying that bitcoin is going to shape the financial institutions in the world which I strongly disagree with because investing in bitcoin can't change anything and the governments are closely watching so bitcoin will also stay on it lane
No matter how many people use bitcoin, this will not make it legalized.

Sure this will get the attention of the government and possibly they could either accept it or break it but if you think that we can change the financial system of the world just from sheer amount of investors then you are wrong. The government will still have the end word.
Quote
and that is why they fighting seriously with mixers and Centralized exchanges.
The government is not in favor of decentralization and being anonymous that’s why I said that in the end it’s all up to the government how would crypto progress. Would it adopted finally or would it remain like a private entity?
3  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: P2E or Not-P2E or Both? on: Today at 12:07:14 AM
With some extra computing power on my desktop, should I just continue with my P2E or try reduce playing time and give room for GamerHash or just do both?
If you could do both then why not? That would be more profit for you. However you also need to consider the time and resources you are going to have to invest in each one. If you feel like you could do both without encountering much losses then you should do both however if you are unsure about the performance of one then just choose one.
Quote
Which one earns more?
I think you also need to consider sustainability. Which one would be better for the long-term? GamerHash is likely to be change over time as technology evolves. It’s up to you where you see each project going forward.
4  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Don't advice anyone to invest on Bitcoin if he doesn't have Alt. income on: June 06, 2024, 11:59:42 PM
all what they want is to invest and make profit.

And those who are working in the government and business people are the good people to invest in bitcoin because they have steady income. Though others can also invest if they planned well.
Wherever one is working, whether he or she is a doctor, a lawyer, an engineer, or a teacher or whatever it is as long as he or she has money to invest then it’s highly suggested that he or she invest it in the right assets and crypto would be one of them.

The problem is a lot of people see crypto as a job, not as an investment option to get back to when you’re old and ready to reap its rewards.
5  Economy / Gambling / Re: How high is the probability of accusations vs. casinos in BitcoinTalk are true? on: June 06, 2024, 09:19:09 AM
there are names that still popular and has active advertising here in forum but it seems that I cannot see the very famous Gambling site 1xbit/1xbet in the list?  i believe they will fall into 100% unresolved and surely will be on top of the list  Grin

Thanks for this update mate , showing that the accusation in many sites are majority is not that valid  .
it's a casino that has been proven to be a scam, no need to include it in the list.
Most of the accusations are the fault of users who violate the rules of the casino. they can't withdraw and then make accusations that are their unacknowledged fault.
It's not that they didn't read the rules, but they ignored them and thought it was a loophole that could benefit them. but a casino with a good reputation will not be easily fooled.
well that is what I also believe so i put smiley there lol.

1xbit/1xbet is proven to be scam and we cannot argue with that but I believe list is still list and we should  put everything on it to at least warn newbie gambler to not fall from their traps.
and about that loophole ? indeed that is truly the Bait for those players in which many of them becomes a victim .
6  Local / Pilipinas / Re: BSP Fake news! on: June 06, 2024, 09:05:57 AM
May nakarinig na ba ng balita na ito? What can you say? Sobrang alarming!
I'm sharing this kasi nakakabalaka ang fake news sa Pilipinas lalo na sa social media, so I believe proper education is the key and solution for this.

8  Economy / Gambling / Re: How high is the probability of accusations vs. casinos in BitcoinTalk are true? on: June 06, 2024, 08:31:13 AM
Here is the update with all percents calculated from valid accusation cases. The number of valid accusation is only temporary because some will become invalid but let's assume it is true as of writing, based on the thread I got the data from, to run the summary stats.

I don't know definitions for categories like "In-progress", "Inactive" or "Active" so on top of that, I simply look at percents for resolved and unresolved cases.Big companies with good reputation tend to have high resolved percent for valid accusations.

9  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can someone take gambling as a source of income to he/she life? on: June 06, 2024, 08:02:01 AM
Trust me it is not worth trying mate.

Have had this gambling addiction or should I say super active gambling in the past that sometimes I even skip my work just to sustain my gambling desire.

yeah Sometimes I win but most of the time I lose ,  yeah I can take home big time but  the continuity will be losing so what is the sense of doing such when the gain is not even enough to feed yourself rightfully .

so my answer is NOPE ,  this cannot be a source of income in daily basis.

Have you tried asking for help from their customer service?

Quote
If you forgot to include it or entered a wrong one, or entered it with extra spaces that makes your tag or memo a wrong one, your deposit will not be credited automatically.

You may submit a help ticket. One of our customer support will help you with it.

This is exactly from their customer support so do ask help since gate.io is a centralized exchange however do not get your hopes up too much. There’s no guarantee that you’ll get your money back. Good luck, tho!
11  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Converting altcoin profits into Bitcoin? on: June 05, 2024, 10:18:35 PM
I see some advise to just convert my profits straight into Bitcoin but in doing that I would be buying Bitcoin at the highest prices so don't understand that.
What do you mean highest prices? If you plan on buying during a decline a price then you can time it to swap your coins either from fiat or from another altcoin when the market is down. Or there’s also another option wherein you can convert first your coins into stablecoins after you’ve gotten profit. That way your money is already stored safely and you can easily convert it to bitcoin when needed.

You are one of the longest running casino in cryptospace(if not the first)  and with that you need to restore your name guys , I have been playing your faucet for years and also have played and deposit not as big amount and never experience any untoward issues(though the lottery result keeps me asking if those are legit lol) but now this is dark days freebitco.in and hope that everything will be resolve and will go back to normal anytime soon.
wondering why there is a need for new team members? does it mean that those previous are not functional anymore?
13  Other / Off-topic / Re: If you were to write a letter to your parents, what would you write? on: June 05, 2024, 08:50:48 AM
I wanted you to live more than my lifetime , Because I am nothing without you..
Same here.

I don’t want to think about it but I am really afraid of the day my parents leave. They have been a constant support in my life and I depend on them for a lot of things. Even though I feel like I have learned a lot of lessons already from them I still don’t feel ready to be alone in the world without them.

I also still would want to pay them back for everything they have given me. So hopefully I can still do that when they are here.
You must be, because you are lucky to have them still , in your generation now there are only few that still generous to their parents specially Mother , have lost my father many years ago and my Mom is in Her late years that's why I do everything that can make her smile and happy because I know that sooner or later we will separate our ways and thinking of this each time made my tears flows like a river.
yeah thanks for this reminding mate , because sometimes we will find the value and greatness of person when they are already gone, Im so happy now that I heartfully realized what I am missing these time of my life , hope that everyone will have this realization to find their way to family happiness like what we have in life now.
14  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 🔻 n1 List of Casinos to Avoid on: June 05, 2024, 08:31:37 AM

WOW! Quite a list! Unfortunately there are many online casinos besides those who appear on your list, that scam gamblers.
If you are really concern about many casino sites not added to the list then why not put those names here so OP might take a look and decide if worth to be added or not ,
and I believe that those listed are about casinos that either OP experienced or those he had dig deeper about their reputation and attitude .
what I was looking is FortuneJack that is in the list while back in those days that  site is still having their signature here in bitcointalk.
15  Economy / Gambling / Re: Casino Payout In Error - Should i advise them? on: June 05, 2024, 08:07:56 AM
You mentioned the name of a casino and you encourage people to exploit them? I am not familiar with that and it's a new casino.

I won't even follow someone's tip to exploit any bug that's being found. If you ever find one, you have to tell it to the operator or the casino itself so that they won't be abused.

There's something fishy and sketchy with what OP is trying to do and that's why there's the trust feed back left by seoinc.
actually there is no exploiting that happened or that will be happening because it is Scamming or cheating that we may face once you enter and starts depositing in that site .
like what said by majority of poster here, OP is shiller and also with the red tag given into  her? am sure we all believe that its valid and OP is never to be trusted because given that he is telling the truth, then why need asking Bitcointalk first when he can either gamble and abuse that glitch or tell the team so they can prevent that issue.
16  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Trump accepts Lightning Network for donation of his campaign in Bitcoin on: June 05, 2024, 12:41:25 AM
Well, to correct your take, Trump is not the first presidential candidate to accept Bitcoin payment via lightning network since Robert F. Kennedy was the first to do this
Some people might get confused lol. This is Kennedy’s son, Robert F. Kennedy Jr. . Rfk did not come back from the dead. Grin.

But anyway Kennedy Jr. is running independently maybe that’s why Trump’s stance on bitcoin is more celebrated because he is the only one of a major electoral party to be this accepting of bitcoin. If you think Kennedy Jr. might be a better option than Trump because he supports bitcoin then think again. Objectively speaking, he shares a lot of similar values with Trump and a more questionable opinions as well. Kennedy Jr. is not taking voters away from the Democrats but is rather splitting the voters among Republicans.

Despite carrying the name of a previous president, he doesn’t have a huge chance just between Biden and Trump to win.
17  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is bitcoin gradually turning away from its purpose? on: June 05, 2024, 12:24:28 AM
Like the title explained it all when sighting towards the speculation or trade discussion section I mostly found out that lots of people are gradually turn away the purpose of bitcoin to mainly investment purposes and I mean to asked, was bitcoin created for investment purpose or it's for peer to peer to alternate fiat?
Bitcoin was created by Satoshi as an alternative to fiat however its unique and innovative features offer more than that. It can be used as a place to hold your money in fighting against your currency going through inflation and it can also be an investment opportunity.

It turned into an investment opportunity simply because many people find bitcoin to have potential. They see it and now they are making off profits by selling it to those who want some bitcoin. You can do anything you want with bitcoin, truthfully. Use it as an alternative currency or use it as an investment tool, it’s all up to you.
18  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are memecoins really important for the crypto market? on: June 04, 2024, 01:49:08 PM
I don't hate meme coins, I just don't like the idea of something that was made for fun to be valued like today.
Welcome to this new generation!

You’d notice that a lot of useless things can gain money nowadays as long as it gets people talking and interested. Just look at NFTs for example, many bought it not for its utility but just because they wanted to own some artworks even if it isn’t physically. I never really understood the point of nfts but if people like it and it gives them profit then who am I to judge?
19  Other / Off-topic / Re: Is there really a path to success? on: June 04, 2024, 01:25:15 PM

However, there are thousands, if not millions, of others who are following the same path but keep on failing.
This may sound cliche, but not everyone is meant to follow the same path. One person’s path to success is not the same as yours. This, however, does not mean that yours is any less successful than others’. Why do we have different paths?

Simply because we are different people with different environmental upbringing, different skills, different interests, and different goals.

Now, I don't know whether to place being successful and playing gambling on the same category where you risk but you have no idea about the outcome and solely rely on luck?
Well you just said that success comes from hard work. Hard work is not part of gambling. If you are determined enough, you can be assured that there will be at least some benefits. With gambling it’s either a 0 or a 100. Getting 100 is extremely rare and that’s because it doesn’t require any hard work really.

its all about your dedication mate because even how focus you wanted in any matter but you are lack of dedication yet you will end  up losing or surrendering specially when you face a lot of insult from someone that brings your character more  on dumping.
Always remember that this life is unfair and if you not give dedication. perseverance and confident you are nothing but a failure in life.
