1  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / For Those Using Claymore to Mine Eth and Wifi Slowing Down on: August 20, 2017, 07:26:29 PM
After quite a bit of research, trial and error related to why my Wifi Network slows to a crawl or stops when mining ETH on Claymore Miner.

Long story story short, I started using the Ethermine Pool and for whatever reason, I am now able to mine and surf the web, watch Netflix on other computers etc.

I just resolved this all last night.

Hope this helps some folks.

Great responses. Going to experiment with these!
3  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Bored mining Ethereum - Whats next? on: August 17, 2017, 05:05:11 AM
I'm only mining at 197 MH/s on 1070 FE's and have been using Claymore's mining software.
I'm getting abour $16 every couple days or so which is fine, but I'm more interested in mining something with much less difficulty with the potential to rise in value.

You may say "Mine ETH and buy the coins you want" but I'm not sure that is the most efficient is it?

What other options might you all propose?

I'm running NVIDIA GTX 1070 FE's - 32 MH/s Each - All6 running I'm getting 197.4 MH/s

Well, for anyone that finds this thread in the future, as a last ditch effort I went to Nvidia and downloaded and installed the latest driver...my 6th GPU popped up everywhere and is now running.

6  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Can't get 6th GPU to work - 5 GPU's Running on: August 16, 2017, 04:43:42 AM
I'm having the same problem with my 6th GTX 1070 but nobody will acknowledge me in my thread. hah

*cries*

Ive been scouring the web for a week now and cant find answer.

So nobody has run into this and has a potential resolution?

This is sad!

I've done just about everything I can think of at this point. I just replaced the Riser with a brand new one and still nothing.
All 5 of my other cards are working fine, but the 6th wont show up anywhere.
I've checked and refreshed the device manager.

MSI Pro Solution Intel Z170A LGA 1151 DDR4 USB 3.1 ATX Motherboard (Z170A SLI Plus) is my MB.

I really need to get this 6th GPU running and would greatly appreciate any troubleshooting advice.

Hmmm,
 Ill keep digging...
10  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Only 5 of 6 GPU's - 1070 FE's on: August 12, 2017, 08:51:45 PM
http://zempafy.com/build-ethereum-mining-rig-also-dual-mining-capable/
That is everything my rig is built with, except I added 3 new GPU's today, identical to the first 3.

5 of my GPU's are running fine, but the 6th isn't found anywhere. I've swapped cables ets but nothing.
It doesn't show in Device Manager or Nvidia Control Panel.

Just doesn't seem to exist.

I'm so close to having this whole thing dialed in to 32 MH/s per card and I just need my last card working!!!!!! Argh!

Any advice from the pros?
11  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: gpu bubble well and truly bursting on: August 07, 2017, 06:12:54 PM
It's the same conversation every 18 months. If you think crypto has reached its peak then definitely sell. If that few hundred you're gonna make off selling a couple cards is more profitable than what the coins will be worth in 2 years, then smart move. I think it's extremely foolish but what do i know.

Bingo! I didn't just build a 6 GPU GTX 1070 FE rig to mine for todays value. But now I have almost $400 a month to invest into ICO's from which to build a vast portfolio. As ETH goes up, I'll hold some and invest some, etc.

I love this as a hobby for sure. This to me is like being on the ground floor of the internet. Having just got into all of this a few weeks ago, I may have missed the free domain names but at least I'm fashionably late instead of missing the party entirely. Smiley

After everything I've read, this is the future of real estate and while very exciting, its very scary in that it eliminates two entire industries. Real Estate Agencies and Mortgage Brokers.
As my wife is a broker and I'm VP of sales for a mortgage company, ATLANT and its proposed business model is the future.

I will be writing a thorough article about this on Zempafy.com soon.

Some questions if I may:
How do you see ATLANT affecting the mortgage industry?
How do you see ATLANT affeccting the Real Estate industry?
How will ATLANT handle property taxes in the varied markets through out the world?
Will there be a need for real estate agents and or mortgage companies in this business model? If so, how so?
So I understand, you are ultimately build a real estate stock exchange where people can put their property up for sale on the exchange which is then converted into a token, buyable and tradeable? What will dictate each properties value on the tokenized market and how will one property be differentiated by another on the market?
How will ATLANT handle property transfer of ownership?
How would you help facilitate real estate agents looking to sell their clients property through your system, or rent them out for clients?
Will the Atlant market place function as an auction?
What is someone tries to sell a property worth $200,000 in their market for $300,000 in ATLANT? How will property valuation be handled for potential buyers in other countries?

I am writing a HUGE article on this right now and greatly appreciate your responses in as much detail as possible.

Thank you so much!
14  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Custum Rig Slowing Network Internet Badly? on: August 05, 2017, 09:40:14 PM
I got a wireless network card and set that up and now everything is back to normal.
Running the rig directly to the router via Ethernet hosed my network for some reason.
Now my problem is I just bought 3 new GPU's and the nic card takes up a slot...

15  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: Antminer L3+ $3k in Stock - $2,199 Oct Batch Hope this helps on: August 05, 2017, 05:05:44 PM
Scam? Is it?

How so? I haven't bought anything yet but was planning to in the future. Why are they a scam?
16  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Antminer L3+ $3k in Stock - $2,199 Oct Batch Hope this helps on: August 05, 2017, 04:57:04 PM
So I have been scouring the web in search of some of these miners while not being gouged to hell and I finally found a site that is selling the Antminers at what I consider a fair price AND they take USD/Credit Cards etc.

I have since opted to just buy 3 more 1070 FE's to complete my ETH rig but thought I would share in hopes it helps some of you that have been in my situation of frustration in trying to find one of these.

http://minermarkets.com/shop/antminer-l3-504mhs-800w/?removed_item=1
That is for the in stock, ship now L3+ which is $2,999

You can also purchase from the Sept stock a bit cheaper and if you're willing to wait until their October batch, its like $2,199 I think.

The most fair pricing scheme.

17  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Custum Rig Slowing Network Internet Badly? on: August 05, 2017, 04:31:33 PM
I'm running Claymore on a (currently) 3 GPU Ethereum Mining rig, hard wired to the wifi router.
High speed web, etc.

But everything else in the house is running so slow. Netflix pauses and is pixelated. Sites load or wont load.

Anyone experience this or know how to fix it?

Windows 10. Clean install.

I'm afraid you have no real idea what you're talking about and everything you've said has a slant of "fyou" in it.
You've apparently got some sort of beef which is why you're hijacking my thread with nonsense.

I'll just accept you as the first troll I've encountered here with nothing to do with your time.

Do you need a job? I assume you're still bouncing around ideas...

I've been doing websites for 15 years and every client I've had has been very happy. Maybe in the crypto world my services aren't of as much value due to the technical knowledge many have, but for those without such knowledge and experience, or graphical design skills and the like, what I do is far above and beyond the price I charge.

Since you seem to believe this to not be the case, and you're a fully capable freelancer, I'll wait for your offer to compete with my services with your own at a greatly reduced price. I'll be happy to send you work very soon. Fair enough?

19  Economy / Services / Re: Offering Wordpress Web Sites/Hosting for Crypto on: August 04, 2017, 12:06:51 AM
Shocked how?
Upstager.com is actually my own site for my consulting business.

To code a site like that custom would cost upwards of $10,000 plus.

I use themes, as do just about any other wordpress designer. You seem to think that using a theme is somehow cheating someone? I've had web clients take 2 months of back and forth, changing what they like, dont like today and back and that client ended up paying $4,000 for a site that should have been 2k. Had they hired someone to hand code the site I ended up building for them from a word press theme, it would have been $20k.

So, I'm not sure if you're just trolling, or haven't built websites for clients before, or what, but often its not the medium the site is built from but the time spent with the client to fine tune everything, changes, custom graphics and the like that merit the costs. If that doesn't sound fair, then you are of course welcome to do it yourself. Thats the beauty of it all, right? When you mess something up though and you white screen your site, I'll only charge you $500 to fix it. Smiley

If you are needing a nice website for your ICO, or anything else for that matter, I will help you not only build your site but optimize it for search engines.
I can also help with some custom graphics and things of that nature.

I've been doing web design for 15 years and have built sites for everything from mortgage companies, consultants, games, nightclubs, HVAC etc. I typically charge anywhere between $2,000 to $4,000 per site, however, in the interest in Crypto I'm willing to do most sites starting at a grand in Crypto currency (Not counting ecommerce stores - those will cost more). The more involved and complicated the site the more the price will have to be. The sites below are examples of what I would be willing to do for a grand in Crypto.

A few of the sites I've done include:
https://Upstager.com
http://becomingearealestateagent.com
http://carplex.com
http://sagamoremtg.com

Just to show a few. I've built so many sites.

I also have a dedicated server and can host the sites and maintain them (keeping plugins updated, resolve any issues that come up) for $25 per month in Crypto.

I can build a site for just about any interest or cause.
I will accept any of the Top 10 Coins.

If you are interested, just message me on here.

Thanks
